Psalm 34:11 - 22

Psa 34:11 Come, you children, listen to me; I will teach you the fear of the LORD.

Psa 34:12 Who is the man who desires life And loves length of days that he may see good?

Psa 34:13 Keep your tongue from evil And your lips from speaking deceit.

Psa 34:14 Depart from evil and do good; Seek peace and pursue it.

Psa 34:15 The eyes of the LORD are toward the righteous And His ears are open to their cry.

Psa 34:16 The face of the LORD is against evildoers, To cut off the memory of them from the earth.

Psa 34:17 The righteous cry, and the LORD hears And delivers them out of all their troubles.

Psa 34:18 The LORD is near to the brokenhearted And saves those who are crushed in spirit.

Psa 34:19 Many are the afflictions of the righteous, But the LORD delivers him out of them all.

Psa 34:20 He keeps all his bones, Not one of them is broken.

Psa 34:21 Evil shall slay the wicked, And those who hate the righteous will be condemned.

Psa 34:22 The LORD redeems the soul of His servants, And none of those who take refuge in Him will be condemned.

apology accepted.

I still however disagree with your interpretation that all have to have the gift of tongues. We will just have to disagree. I read something entirely different in the bible. I don't think it has anything to do with God being a respecter of persons-some have gifts that others do not have. The Scripture makes that abundantly clear comparing for example the church to the physical body-not all are hands, not all are feet so not all have the same gifts. We have different and complimentary gifts. My gifts are leadership, organization, administration and to a certain extent teaching, perhaps compassion if that is a gift.

Furthermore as far as the passage in Joel about the outpouring of the Spirit-I have read some commentators who have said that only applies to the Jews during the Tribulation. If I recall correctly Dr Frucht is one who feels that way. I actually have no strong opinions on this one way or the other. It would seem however that if reports coming out of the middle east are true about record numbers of muslims coming to Christ via dreams etc that it may well not just apply to Jews during the tribulation. The prophecy however I think you have to agree was directed at Jews since the church was as yet a mystery during the time in which Joel prophesied.

JIB - Is this what you were looking for?

1 Corinthians

12:4 Now there are different gifts, but the same Spirit. 12:5 And there are different ministries, but the same Lord. 12:6 And there are different results, but the same God who produces all of them in everyone. 12:7 To each person the manifestation of the Spirit is given for the benefit of all. 12:8 For one person is given through the Spirit the message of wisdom, and another the message of knowledge according to the same Spirit, 12:9 to another faith by the same Spirit, and to another gifts of healing by the one Spirit, 12:10 to another performance of miracles, to another prophecy, and to another DISCERNMENT of spirits, to another different kinds of tongues, and to another the interpretation of tongues. 12:11 It is one and the same Spirit, distributing as he decides to each person, who produces all these things.

Alesia said...

actually, if you continue on to
1 Corinthians 12:12 is where they discuss what you said Jib - Different members of one body....

Too long to post.

Alesia said...

Continuing on:

1 Corinthians

12:27 Now you are Christ’s body, and each of you is a member of it.

12:28 And God has placed in the church first apostles, second prophets, third teachers, then miracles, gifts of healing, helps, gifts of leadership, different kinds of tongues.
12:29 Not all are apostles, are they?
Not all are prophets, are they? Not all are teachers, are they? Not all perform miracles, do they? 12:30 Not all have gifts of healing, do they?
Not all speak in tongues, do they? Not all interpret, do they?
12:31 But you should be eager for the greater gifts.

Ok, I think I'm done with Chapter 12 now. :-)

But Paul said that "I thank my God I speak with tongues more than you all." [1 Corinthians 14:18]

and "I wish you all spoke with tongues" [1 Corinthians 14:5] - Paul could not wish for this if it were not possible

and "For he who speaks in a tongue does not speak to men but to God, for no one understands him; however, in the spirit he speaks mysteries. [= divine secrets]" [i Corinthians 14:2] - this verse alone should make you question the idea that there is a "single" type of praying in tongues.

and "For if I pray in a tongue, my spirit prays, but my understanding is unfruitful" [1 Corinthians 14:14]

and "I will pray with the spirit, and I will also pray with the understanding. I will sing with the spirit, and I will also sing with the understanding." [1 Corinthians 14:14] - stating that Paul could choose to do both, and will therefore do so.

In all these occasions Paul says that it is "I/us/you" who pray, as and when "I/we/you" will - decide to. This does not match up with 1 Corinthians 12:11, which says it "as Holy Spirit wills".

There is a clash of "wills" here.

I can pray and (as I think most of the regulars here who pray in tongues would agree), I can turn it on and off at will.

I do not know of ANYBODY who can turn on the "manifestations" of Holy Spirit at will, and perform "miracles", "healings", have "special faith", "prophesy", see into the spirit realm (= "discernment"), give "Words of Knowledge" and "Words of Wisdom", let alone give an interpretation of a tongue.

ANYBODY who says they can is a fake!! No one person ever has these "manifestations" in operation all the time. The only people who seem to be able to used more consistently in this way are those of the "5-fold" ministries given as gifts by Jesus to the Church (Ephesians 4:11).

Later on in Ephesians 5:15-20, Paul says:

15 See then that you walk circumspectly, not as fools but as wise,
16 redeeming the time, because the days are evil.
17 Therefore do not be unwise, but understand what the will of the Lord is.
18 And do not be drunk with wine, in which is dissipation; but be filled with the Spirit
[that's what the baptism of Holy Spirit is for - to fill you up to overflowing, so that you pour out rivers of "living waters" to bless others],
19 speaking to one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord
[as per 1 Corinthians 14:2],
20 giving thanks always for all things to God the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, 21 submitting to one another in the fear of God.

The problem is, if you don't understand about these things, and have never seen them in operation in a proper manner, and have never been taught properly about them (you and most of the Body of Christ, unfortunately), I can image it would be scary to consider asking God for the baptism of Holy Spirit, especially if you do not know anyone personally, who you can talk to about it, who has had the same experience.

You might like to know that Kenneth Hagin Snr used to be a Baptist minister. He knew nothing of the baptism of Holy Spirit, but he studied the Word, and realized this was something he probably should know about. He met with some Pentecostal ministers, but, to be honest, few of them were really able to explain all this stuff to him.

One day he "got" the understanding, as he going about his daily chores (shopping!), rushed along to his nearest Pentecostal minister, said, "I want the baptism of Holy Spirit NOW!", and sure enough, he received - he prayed and sang in tongues for 1 1/2 hours afterwards! (Now that is a bit unusual!!)

However, and this will make you laugh, he didn't tell his own congregation for TWO YEARS!!!

When he did, they had seen enough of the effects of the baptism in his ministry, that they accepted it with few or no problems, and many of his own congregation quickly received the same, complete with being able to speak in tongues.

"and "I wish you all spoke with tongues" [1 Corinthians 14:5] - Paul could not wish for this if it were not possible"
Who says? I WISH I'd hit the lottery - it ain't happened yet! :-)
Kidding aside - That just proves to me that not ALL people CAN or WILL speak in tongues, per Paul!

"The problem is, if you don't understand about these things, and have never seen them in operation in a proper manner, and have never been taught properly about them (you and most of the Body of Christ, unfortunately), I can image it would be scary to consider asking God for the baptism of Holy Spirit, especially if you do not know anyone personally, who you can talk to about it, who has had the same experience."

You are making assumptions - As previously stated, my MOTHER speaks in tongues! BTW - She's a Catholic ~gasp~

2 things:
I wasn't really talking about tongues here - I am totally engrossed with reading about the spiritual gift of PROPHESY at the moment. Posted what I did because JIB mentioned it & I just happened to have my nose in 1 Corinthians.

A good reading of 1 Corinthians - it is "chock-full" of statements that the gifts, and dare I say, tongues are NOT for everyone.

John,
PLease, Please, please quit already. I am at my end here and am deeply bothered that you continued to insinuate here that we do not read the Word and that we are deluded-Just because we view the same scripture differently. Have you NOT read 1 Cor 12:4-11 where it PLAINLY states that each person will have DIFFERENT gifts and not EVERYONE will necessarily have the SAME gift?!?!? Paul WISHES we could all speak in tongues which obviously means we all WILL NOT speak in tongues!
You said, "The problem is, if you don't understand about these things, and have never seen them in operation in a proper manner, and have never been "taught properly" *SCUSE ME?!?! about them "(you and most of the Body of Christ, unfortunately)*VERY BOASTFULL* "". How arrogant that statement is!!?!?!
WHO ARE YOU?!?!?!

You apologize and continue to say the same things!
I don't believe the same as you as far as the gift of tongues and other things that you continue to say here.
And I am NOT the only one. Everyone has tried to NICELY ask you to stop pushing your beliefs.
Link you LONG comments to your blog!

You keep saying that if we refuse to believe as you do that we have not read God's Word or that we are taught wrong or are deluded. I am tired of it.

Everyone else, I am truly sorry but I am tired of being told what I believe is wrong. (I know John isn't directing it at ME per se....) It is different to just STATE what you believe but another matter for someone to say that I am wrong for what I believe.

I know this isn't my blog. I may seek somewhere else to fellowship with others of like beliefs because I don't want to be a problem. I just think John is really wrong for saying that we have not read the WORD or that we are not properly taught and on and on.
I just want him to know that he has overstepped as far as I am concern.

Shalom,

I came in to share something with those who might be interested, but first I want to say I am so sorry to see what has happened to this very special place.

I had heard 3 or 4 days ago, that things were getting out of hand, so many of us were praying that the LORD would touch some hearts and your beautiful fellowship would be restored.

Mr. Hyde, I know it was hard for you to take this step. We will keep all of you in prayer that the LORD's peace will break out on this blog.

I wanted to share an audio that El Shaddai Ministries has on their website about Passover. Earlier there had been some discussions and I was led by the LORD to share it with you in case some of you had not listened to it yet. It is actually about all the Spring Feasts, with Passover being the first one discussed. There are some great notes on the same page too.

I know I learned many things that I didn't know before, and I have witnessed many Seder's. This one is wonderful. I hope you enjoy.

Our duty is our delight

The thought of delight in religion is so strange to most men, that no two words in their language stand farther apart than “holiness” and “delight.” Ah, but believers who know Christ, understand that delight and faith are so blessedly married, that the gates of hell cannot prevail to divorce them. They who love God with all their hearts, find that his ways are ways of pleasantness, and all his paths are peace. Such joy, such brimful delights, such overflowing bliss, do the saints discover in their Lord, that so far from serving him from custom, they would follow him should all the world cast out his name as evil.

We fear not God because of any compulsion, our faith is no fetter, our profession is no prison; we are not dragged to holiness, nor driven to duty. No, sirs, our religion is our recreation, our hope is our happiness, our duty is our delight.

yes that is the passage I was alluding to. I often wondered who the appendix is. (sorry weird humor which goes with the territory)

Hyde
just make sure to be fair and thank you

Regarding the deleted post-it isn't quite so simple as rereading the book of Acts-it is a consideration and a reading of the book of Joel, reading and consideration of what the feast of Pentecost was in the OT and how fulfilled in the NT. I did grab my prophecy commentary Bible briefly (edited by LaHaye and Hinson and contributed to by many authors including Frucht, Ice etc) and did turn specifically to the commentary given on the section regarding the outpouring of the Spirit in Joel and Acts 2. Their interpretation of Joel is even more limited than I had remembered reading. Not only do they believe the final, ultimate fulfillment of this prophesy is for Jews only, they also believe it happens during a brief window of time at the end of the Great Tribulation and in the commentary on Acts 2 that this is what starts the church age and ends the Mosaic covenant and is a down payment of what Joel was talking about, not a final fulfillment nor part of an ongoing fulfillment. I have neither the time nor inclination to reproduce their reasoning in it's entirety-mostly the time. It is a very interesting Bible which goes through every prophecy in the Bible. I would say that as far as Joel goes what I read this morning is I believe what Frucht said in Footsteps of the Messiah. So there are reputable commentators and scholars who think and believe something altogether different about Joel than some other pastors and leaders.

Clearly there are going to be different interpretations of this area. At this point I have not come to any conclusions of my own since I haven't done nearly enough research or reading on the subject although I do intend to do so.

What Did God Do On The Eighth Day

so about the meeting

1-Joel has a wicked sense of humor
2-He does a great impression of Jewish mothers
3-Many came to Christ last night as a result of his teaching-Praise God
4-He has a passion for souls and for Israel
5-I did learn one new interesting thing that I think will have an impact in the Tribulation and that is the 2 messiah theory. Because Rabbis couldn't correlate the suffering servant passages with the victorious king passages regarding Messiah they came up with the 2 messiah theory. One would be "ben Joseph" and the other would be "be David". In other words-the suffering servant would be like Joseph in the book of Genesis, suffer and save the whole world and be of that lineage and the other would be of the lineage of David and be a victorious warrior king. Interesting concept. Apparently they never considered that the passages could refer to the same person but two different appearances. So if there is a rabbinical tradition of 2 different Messiah's it might explain why Jews might initially accept Antichrist as Messiah without having to fulfill all the prophecies about lineage etc.
6-the Katinas were great. I had never heard of them before, neither had most of the audience, and I wanted to buy a cd and so did about 1000 other people. Amazon has a lot shorter line. Their family has a phenomenal story of how one persons prayer and witnessing impacted three generations of a family for Christ.
7-I think there were about 10k people there last night. the arena was nearly full. Reminded me of the time I went to an Urbana conference.
8-thank God Joel is a failed political consultant. That may have been what Joel's dream was but God is using him so much more. If Joel hadn't failed in politics we wouldn't have a modern day Ezekiel.

Shalom, all! I wanted to share this insight with all of you. I had started a thread on Catholic Answers Forum to discuss End Times issues from a Catholic view. This response from a woman who was raised Seventh Day Adventist and converted to Catholicism a few years back:

To my mind there is only one sign of the end of time that we need to pay any attention to. Lay your fingers over your pulse, feel the point and counter point of your heart beat. The end of time is exactly one beat away at any given time. If you are not spiritually ready for that last beat, then you're not prepared for the end times. So what if their are plagues and wars and persecutions, earthquakes and volcanoes? We are all exactly one breath away from judgment.

To be in His Holy Presence is more precious than any other thing on earth. Even to the point of being right. I know that my ways are not His ways, and my thoughts are not His thoughts and my understanding is not worthy of standing on when life's decisions are facing me. So, Lord, I will trust you and submit my whole being to your perfect will and purpose for my life. After all, this life is only a vapor but eternity will be spent in your Holy Presence. Thank you Father that you loved all of so very much that you sent us your precious son, Jesus, our soon coming King.

Donna, forgive my rudeness, I did mean to get back to you on the fasting. I only remembered this morning when I resolved to do it sometime this week. I'm not well informed on this practise. When I fast, it’s usually only 24 hours and I abstain from everything except water. It’s a fairly wimpy fast but half way through it I do get caffeine withdrawal symptoms such as migraines and irritability. OK, so the irritability part isn’t really due to the fast. Longer fasts need care depending on your health and medications. One day should be fine if you’re reasonably healthy but longer fasts can be very problematic, especially coming out of them. Be cautious and seek medical advice from a professional.

Mac, If I thought that Obama would even watch it, I would send it express Email. But, in my opinion there aren't many in government that would watch it and be moved to be anymore than they are right now. Maybe that is one of the reasons why God will prove to all of us that the government of any nation is never going to be able to supply all of our needs and that we are wrong in depending on them.

Thank you for your prayers also. Butty hurts real bad! Big Bad!

Shalom, all! I just tried the "Remember Me" link posted by Alesia and got a "We're sorry, this video is no longer available" message. It's possible that some (or only one) of the images was covered by copyright; if the copyright holder complained then they'd pull it.

Just got back from my daughter's graduation. An interesting day: I was out doing some other stuff, came back around 3:10 and found a message from my ex. Turns out that my oldest daughter who lives 90 minutes away and had done NOTHING to prepare for graduation, because she hadn't planned on going (no graduation announcements, no nothing) had changed her mind and was now going to attend her graduation ceremony. Tonight. At 6:00. Seems someone at the school had gone ahead and ordered a cap and gown for her. So I had just enough time to put on some nice clothes, grab a camera, and buy some gas on the way to make it. It was nice seeing her walk across the stage, and my other two daughters were playing in the orchestra; only problem is I grabbed the wrong camera (I thought I was grabbing the digital but grabbed the 35mm instead) and the battery was dead, so I didn't get any pictures.

Then to top it off, as they were preparing for the recessional, the tornado sirens went off! So, we had all get into the basement for about 45 minutes. After that, my daughters decided to make a run for their car and head home. (They made it safely.) I was parked farther away, so I stuck around for another half hour until the rain let up enough so that I didn't get soaked.

Like I said, an interesting day.

Jesus I trust in you!

The support that we have received from around the world for the Understand The Times Myanmar Relief Fund has been tremendous. These funds will be diligently distributed and accounted for by various individuals who are scheduled to go to Myanmar over the next several months. Through the contacts God has given us over the past several years, we are assessing the needs and how these funds that have been supplied can best be administered.

Please pray for the following:

1. For the safety and protection of those who will be transferring resources.
2. For physical needs to be met in the name of Jesus and lives transformed with the gospel of Jesus Christ.
3. For the salvation of souls in the dark land of Myanmar.
4. That the Lord Jesus Christ would be glorified through all our efforts.
5. That God would bless all those who have so generously contributed to this cause.

We are unable to publicaly mention names of those involved in this effort in order for their protection.

Good morning all,

I just had a very strange experience. (I have NO idea what I am doing up this early, especially seeing as I fell asleep only 3.5 hours ago.)

Upon waking, the only thought in my head was, GO READ - Philippians 4:10-14

4:10 I have great joy in the Lord because now at last you have again expressed your concern for me. (Now I know you were concerned before but had no opportunity to do anything.)
4:11 I am not saying this because I am in need, for I have learned to be content in any circumstance.
4:12 I have experienced times of need and times of abundance. In any and every circumstance I have learned the secret of contentment, whether I go satisfied or hungry, have plenty or nothing.

This is a message I just sent to many of my family and friends:

Here I go, fear mongering again. Why do I do this? Because I think that the best defense our country has is a prepared and aware people. If nothing bad ever happens, great! Little is lost, some time and money for things we use anyway.

From the May 15, 2008 Opening Statement for Chairman Joseph Lieberman, Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee, “Nuclear Terrorism: Providing Medical Care and Meeting Basic Needs in the Aftermath.”

http://hsgac.senate.gov/public/_files/051508JILOpen.pdf

“Finally we much acknowledge that the government cannot do it all, We must convince the American people that they are responsible for their own families’ preparedness.
People should stock their homes and places of business with emergency supplies in case one day they are needed as shelters in the aftermath of an attack or a natural disaster.
They should know where they would go if told to evacuate, how to communicate with loved ones, and how they can help respond if needed by their communities.
These preparations would be useful not just in case of a terrorist nuclear attack, but also a chemical attack or a natural disaster that forces people to shelter in place until help arrives.” (Italics added)

Senator Susan Collins:

“For people gripped by an overwhelming urge to flee, it could be critical. The Department of Homeland Security has calculated that people who try to flee Washington, D.C., in the first 24 hours after a terrorist nuclear attack could expose themselves to seven times the radiation of those who shelter for just three days in their basements before leaving.”

View witness (expert) testimony:

I don’t want to be afraid, I want to be aware and prepared, within reason. Everyone has to decide for themselves what reasonable is.

Luke 21:36 But stay awake at all times, praying that you may have strength to escape all these things that are going to take place, and to stand before the Son of Man.

No, I don't think you're over the top. I joke with my friends and family about my being psycho dad, but every so often I get serious and talk with my ex about emergency preparedness. She's usually able to keep from rolling her eyes. My brothers and sisters tend to be the same way -- tolerant, because I've ALWAYS been the one with the crazy ideas. However, some of my brothers and sisters are more open to my "crazy ideas" than others, just because experience has taught them that I might not always hit things on the bullseye, I'm usually in the vicinity. And all of my in-laws take what I write seriously. (It might help that I usually begin my letters with the admission that yes, this sounds crazy BUT...)

Alesia, Shalom! Thanks for the scripture. I've copied into a file on my desktop. Glad you got a little more sleep!

Happy days from sunny Okieland. Well, I went to bed early last night and woke up late this morning. Thought I would reverse things a little bit and I really feel rested.

I read your comments about the link and Anne and Jim, try clearing your IE cache by going to Start-Control Panel-Internet Options-and then click on clear history, etc. You probably have too much in your memory for the download to take place. Or do that clean up from your IE options itself. I clicked on all of the links that have been posted and they all worked about 15 minutes ago and is now 10 mins. after 12 p.m.

Here is something that you might want to watch Lisa. Perry Stone has a new Web cast up on his dream he had before 9/11 but with further explanations. Copy and past this into your address bar: http://voe.org/ then at the top of the page there is a changing topic window. Wait for it to come to the Live Webcast display and then click on it. Very interesting and his father, Fred Stone Senior is also appearing with him. It is about an hour long but very interesting info. More or less goes along with your report from Lieberman article.

This is a great day to remember all of the men and women who have served your countries so that life today could be richly blessed and a whole lot easier for all of us. No matter where we live or what we have to contend with. If you are 50 years old, think back to what your mother and father had to do in order to put food on the table and cover your nakedness. Anyone for a reasonably used pair of shoes? Well, in my childhood days, we were thankful for passed down shoes. Better than walking barefoot on hot concrete!

Have a great day and remember the Lord loves all of us.

I'll watch the Perry Stone video, too. Yesterday I watched David Wilkerson's "That Dreadful Day No One Wants to Talk About" (or something like that) which is a little more than a year old but still relevant.

I have a friend (who got my doomsday message) who asked me if I'd ever heard anything about the importance of 2012. Have I ever! I'm going to be spending some time in the back, dark corners of the cave to see what we've posted in the past months on that. See you when I surface for fresh air.

Most pagan beliefs have something significant happening this year. The collective conscience comes together or something of that nature.

Some Christains also thought it may be the year of Christ's 2nd coming.

It's the year the magnetic polar field shifts on earth.

If you take the 2015 Sun/Moon year timing as the time of Christ's 2nd coming and subtract 3 1/2 years you arrive at 2012 and the point of the Anti-Christ defiling the temple.

This would line up logically with the Tribulation beginning at some point in the near future.

Have fun! Lots to find!

VISION of THE ACID CLOUD - 1994
-by Richard Smith.

The following very significant vision was given to a man in England way back in September 1994.

THE ACID CLOUD - A VISION - Richard Smith.

This vision emerged with an unusually vivid degree of clarity on Thursday morning the 29th September, 1994, just before I was
about to go out and do some studying.

Following a period of pouring out my distressed feelings about the
condition of the Church to Jesus, who is our heavenly Advocate, I
saw ahead of me a large billowing black cloud which carried lots of
soot and other pollutants. Its sulphurous stench revealed that here was no natural cloud, but rather it was the type of acid cloud which arises from the explosion of some chemical plant or oil installation.

Blown by its own momentum, the acid cloud was rapidly heading
towards a low waterless desert plain which lay beneath some rocky
mountains. Filling the plain were all types of people whom I under-
stood represented the Christian population of England. Most were
indigenous white Anglo-Saxons, but there were members of various
ethnic minorities as well. These stood for the immigrant population
in England.

FOUR GROUPS. On closer inspection, I could see that this vast assembly was divided into four main groups. The first of these was the one that was nearest to the cloud and was obviously coming under its influence. This particular group can be known as the intoxicated.
Behind them, closely intermingled together, were the second and
third groups - these can be known as the fearful and the angry.
Still further behind at a little distance was a smaller group who
will be known as the prepared. However, one fact was obvious - the acid cloud was going to cover all four groups regardless of whether they wanted it to or not.

It was at this point that I perceived that the cloud was blowing in from the Westerly direction.

In response to this cloud, the first group were laughing, dancing
and singing. A few of their members were lying prostrate and making all kinds of animal noises. Some were so deliriously happy that they actually formed a dance line, which - while they were dancing the conga - snaked its way into the cloud. With a start, I realised their mistake. Already intoxicated by invisible fumes emanating from the front of the cloud, this group were wrongly assuming that the polluted cloud was a refreshing rain cloud that represented God's presence. They failed to see what its true nature was.

The second group of Christians saw what the cloud consisted of, but
then panicked. Some ran away and tripped over, knocking themselves
out, while others stood there, frozen to the ground, looking in two directions at once. Like the first group, they too were swallowed up by the cloud. Their fundamental mistake was to panic in the face of evil.

Whilst this was happening, the third group of Christians (who also saw that the cloud was a menace) stood before it shaking their fists and making all kinds of angry noises. Some were kicking at it with their feet. Like the previous two groups, they were clad in light, flimsy summer clothing. Their mistake was to try to fight the cloud in their own strength. Consequently, they too were swallowed up.Moreover, as the cloud ate up each of the three previous groups, there was silence, followed by earpiercing howls of pain, succeeded
by more silence - which was broken only by the odd intermittent moan
or throaty gurgle which very much reminded me of a First World War
gas attack.

THE PREPARED. However, the fourth group of Christians were getting
ready to deal with the threat posed by this cloud. With urgent haste, they were donning anti-chemical suits of clothing, clamping on gas masks and putting on strong safety helmets which had a bright light, like a miner's lamp, attached to it. Above the lamp (which represent-ed the light of the Holy Spirit) near the top of the helmet was a bright red spot. At once I discerned that this symbolised the Blood
of Jesus Christ. It was His mark on this group.

Strapped to their sides were white first-aid cases with red crosses
on them. These carried a wide assortment of medical aids to help
those Christians who had been burned by the cloud. In their right hands they carried strong transparent riot shields, while in their left hands they carried various types of weoponry. These were obviously designed to fight the various kinds of
principalities which inhabit the cloud.

Suddenly, at God's own timing, they formed a line, linked shields
and marched at an orderly pace into the cloud. They were obviously directed by the Lord to do this. It was also clear that they were called to work very closely together. (Note; later, Richard was shown that the strategy of this group would be to advance at the Lord's command, fight strenuously, rescue and minister to some of
the wounded; then stand their ground awaiting the next call for
advance).

BELIEVE NOT EVERY SPIRIT. Somewhat taken aback by the
implications of this vision, I then used my mind to apply 1 Jn 4:1-3.

In blunt Yorkshire tones, I said "Do you, the spirit who has brought this picture so vividly to mind, boldly confess that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh"? "Yes, I boldly confess that Jesus Christ is
come in the flesh". "Fine, what do you say about the Blood He
shed on the Cross?" "Through the Blood there is forgiveness of
sin. It protected the Israelites from My judgement on the Egyptian
firstborn". "Good. Now let's take counsel together and have some
intelligent discussion. Without repeating all the details that were revealed earlier, would you please, Abba Father, send your Holy Spirit to complete the interpretation of this vision?"

THE INTERPRETATION. Still utterly in control of what was happening,
I then slowly took stock of what the Holy Spirit was saying. While
creating a piercing clarity of mind that served to heighten my
intellectual faculties, the Holy Spirit gave me the following inter-
pretation:

1) The acid cloud not only represented what is currently known as the Toronto Phenomenon, it also represents all that will come out of that occurrence. The Toronto Phenomenon is so to speak only the front edge of the cloud. It is paving a way for even more extreme manifestations of the evil one. In short, "Toronto" can be seen as a beginning rather than an end.

2) Being blown by its own momentum indicates that within the cloud
there is only what can be described as a hostile alien spirit. It is the head spirit of many other spirits which inhabit the cloud. Moreover, this alien spirit has been given permission by God to try the loyalties of Christians in this country. Through a process of sharp
division, which will cause many wounds, it will become really clear who in the Church is standing by Jesus and who is not. However, some of those who belong to the first three groups will be given a few further chances to repent. For a little while, the opportunity to get back into a right relationship with God will exist.

3) The flat waterless desert plain represents English Society which is bereft of the Holy Spirit. It may also have some bearing on other places within the British Isles - even though it is England which is primarily represented.

Another point to mention is that if the Lord's people had been on
top of the rocky mountains, (which represents nearness to God's
presence) then they would have escaped the influence of the acid
cloud. Their position on the desert plain has left them desperately vulnerable to the corrosive effects. In other words, being in the place where Jesus Christ doesn't want them to be has stripped the Church of many spiritual defences. Far from putting on the armour of
God, it is wearing loose, light summer clothes. Furthermore, being
in the desert place has caused many Christians to seek to assuage
their thirst from the wrong spiritual sources. That is one reason why the first group greeted the cloud with such enthusiasm. It
seemed to offer an easy way to meet their needs.

4) As was stated earlier, the people in the plain were Christians - mainly charismatic/evangelical Christians, but there were also a
fair number of representatives from the established denominations as well. They were conspicuous for their clerical collars, long robes
and self-important expressions on their faces. It was clear that
this cloud is going to have a very widespread effect.

5) As was clearly seen in the vision itself, the four groups rep-
resented four possible reactions to the acid cloud. Only the last
was appropriate to the situation in hand.

In particular, those who stood frozen to the ground looking in two directions, stood for Christian leaders who were trying to find expedient diplomatic solutions to what was an impossible situation.
Not surprisingly, most of their supporters were quickly deserting
them - leaving them alone to be swallowed up by the cloud. At this
juncture, I believe the Holy Spirit is clearly saying "beware of
man-made expedients in dealing with the Toronto Phenomenon". What
the Church faces here is primarily a spiritual, not cultural or
psychological problem. Spiritual weapons will be needed to deal
with it.

6) The role of the fourth group, which was the only one really
doing God's will, was two-fold. Firstly it has to use the spiritual weapons given it to attack the principalities which were in the cloud. Secondly, it had to help restore Christians from the previous three groups who had been injured by it. Regrettably, some Christians they will have to bypass, because they will either refuse treatment or be in such a wild state that it will be impossible to deal with them.

By no means will all Christians survive the passing of the cloud.
Some will forsake their faith, while others will suffer from perm-
anent physical and mental breakdowns. A few will even lose their very lives there.

I began to see that the acid cloud was also the cloud of God's
judgement, that will have to pass over the Church until evil is
forcibly removed from it. Only after the acid cloud has done its work will the Church be pure enough to receive the cloud of God's presence. This cloud will in turn bring further cleansing and much-needed revival. However, the time for this second cloud to pass over is not yet. Any hopes of immediate revival are therefore premature.

This means that taken as a whole, the Toronto Phenomenon does not
represent a time of refreshing, rather it represents what is perhaps the first instalment of a VERY severe judgement on the churches in this country.

In a very real sense, the mass of God's people are being handed over
to Satan for the destruction of the flesh. Only those who are faithful to the Lord in all things will be exempt from this judgement - even though they may be distressed by its consequences. For members of the fourth group, there is the challenge to stand together and not act as a group of disparate individuals.

In closing, I believe the Holy Spirit is challenging you who read
this document to decide which groups you belong to - is it to be the intoxicated, the fearful, the angry or the prepared? Great evil is coming upon many churches in this country - there exists only a
little time to make this decision.

Washing your feet? That's a nice symbolic addition to Communion.

Anyone else do this?

How is it set up? (Do women make sure their toe nails are painted? or is polish forbidden?) (:

Re: Footwashing...thanks for the inquiry, Lisa.

It is organized, so takes very little time really. This is usually done in the Fellowship Hall and/or classrooms.

There are stacks of plastic flat-bottomed containers and small towels. Someone ladles some warm water in one container.

Usually women will pair off, and men will, too. However, sometimes families will do this together. One will kneel, wash and dry the partner's feet. When done, one will go and empty the water, get clean water and towel, and the other person's feet will be washed.

Usually it is quiet, though sometimes we will talk about what Jesus did for us, etc.

Toenail polish is not forbidden! :)

Afterwards I like to have a little prayer with my foot-washing partner. I usually shed tears during the event because it is so touching to realize our Lord and Savior humbled Himself so much for us.

This comment is not meant to be arrogant or divisive or unloving...and I have 'sat' on it since it first came to mind as I was sitting in church on Sunday morning:

It may well be that the ones who feel they MUST retaliate or respond to another's comments with which they disagree are the ones displaying the most arrogance. Why can't we just say, (one time and let it go with that), "I disagree with what you just said."

Would not this attitude show the greater love? As it is, this blog may have lost a relationship with one of our brothers.

Vicki,

I grew up fellowshipping with the Grace Brethren. They too have a foot-washing, quarterly, that is, every three months. We would also have a communion service afterwards. The women went in one room, the men in another. We would sing hymns. It was a wonderful time of reflection on how Christ modeled for us that we should serve one another as when He washed the feet of His disciples.

I attended a wedding about three years ago where the bride and groom washed each others feet during the ceremony. Again, very moving as it showed their commitment to serve each other as they become one.

As far as I’m concerned, anyone here can discuss any doctrine. I have never practised or encouraged censorship. I have encouraged balance. And I’ve never felt that it was just my blog – I consider it our blog. I’ve always been quite ready to hand the admin over to someone else.

I know some subjects have been controversial and there has been tension amongst some of us, but I would hope that out mutual love for the Lord keeps us together in respect and love for each other. Also, I hope that anyone who has ever posted here keeps posting. No one is banned and no discussions are banned.

Mary,
With all due respect, MANY of us DID TRY to do exactly what you stated, to no avail, may I add.

I wish with ALL my heart that would have sufficed, unfortunately, that was not the case.

I think you're missing the bigger picture here. I, personally, never had an issue with the divisive topics. (and for the most part, neither did a lot of other people) I DID have an issue with HOW they were posted.

We are a diverse group here, from many different denominations & many have different biblical interests.

We MUST show love & respect AT ALL TIMES for those differences, anything less should NOT be ok.

I have been hurt & upset (for other people) many times (by various people here) for what I perceived to be disrespectful comments. Some people don't want to hear anything Catholic, some are bent out of shape about Nephilim talk, etc, etc.

Who are any of us to tell people they can't discuss these things, if they so choose AND have others here that are interested as well?

Some of my favorite people don't post here any longer or rarely do because of these "taboo" topics being so violently opposed. IMO, that's not fair OR right.

The message & lesson that should have been heard & learned is that comments weren't made with love OR respect for our fellow brothers & sisters here.

SORRY - THAT'S NOT OK.

Jib,

(I just happened to open up my Bible to Acts 2:18 & stared right at it- as I was going to look up & post this verse for you)

Acts 2:17-21

"And it will be in the last days, says God, that I will pour out My Spirit on all humanity;then your sons and daughters will prophesy, your young men will see visions, and your old men will dream dreams.
I will even pour out My Spirit on My male and female slaves in those days, and they will prophesy. I will display wonders in the heaven above and signs on the earth below: blood and fire and cloud of smoke. The sun will turn to darkness, and the moon to blood, before the great and remarkable day of the Lord comes; then whoever calles on the name of the Lord will be saved."

I personally think we are living in the Last Days so this would apply to our time.

Of course we also have to be very careful because 2 Peter 2:2-3 (and others)

But there were also flase prophets among the people, just as there will be false teachers among you. There will secretely bring in destructive heresies......Many will follow their unrestrained ways, and because of them the way of truth will be blasphemed. In their greed they will exploit you with deceptive words.....

But my favorite part:

2 Peter 2:9

"then the Lord knows how to rescue the godly from trials and to keep the unrighteous under punishment until the day of judgment, especially those who follow the polluting desires of the flesh and despise authority."

(Actually all of 1 Peter is really good - only 3 chapters long)

It is not easy believing so strongly in something (in this situation a particular doctrine that for many is of utmost basic importance)only to have others balk at it.

We've all been there at one time or other, I'm sure.

It's understandable....and frustrating.

But to be on the other end of it is also frustrating.

Many people do not believe that the particular doctrine in question ( that tongues is evidence of the baptism of the Holy Spirit) is Biblical.

So..we have a "catch-22". People will not budge.

So we should be able to move on from it and avoid getting hit over the head with it over and over and over again.

Sounds like it got a bit personal, offensive and a bit out of control... and obviously that is not cool.

I'm sure mac would not delete a post unless he felt he had to. I trust his judgement.

The bottom line is that all we can do is trust Him and pray for guidance with this and anything and everything.

Hi Mac,

The comment I posted awhile ago was not directed at any deleted post you may have made or even in the decision you made to delete any specific post.

My intent was to say that if anyone of you post anything that I don't believe the Scripture teaches, while I would be wise to point out that I disagree and give the reason(s) why and the Scripture reference - that should be my final word on the subject. Should I persist in responding as was done regarding the topic in question, then I would be just as arrogant and divisive as I perceive the other person to be who continues the topic.

Alicia, I appreciate what you said: "With all due respect, MANY of us DID TRY to do exactly what you stated, to no avail, may I add."

I won't get into a further discussion about this, but I can't believe anyone would continue a discussion that no one was responding to.

This is all I am trying to say.

I have loved coming to Joel's blog while we could meet there and have so appreciated being invited to join all of you here at the cave, but I have to be honest and confess, it's not as fun and exciting as it used to be. Maybe I need to do as some have done in the past and take a sabbatical for while.

I pray that everyone will receive my comments in the love and concern with which I have made them. Thank you Mr. Hyde, Mac, and Alicia for making the cave a place to meet.

Shalom, all! Over on the "Catholic Answers Forum", I posted a thread titled, "Kristallnacht in America?" It was based on a segment of a "Light Unto Nations" show from Israel National Radio. To quote from my post,

... one of the hosts was making a speaking tour of the US. He spoke of how he did a presentation at a synagogue about Israel and the importance of making aliyah. This lecture was part of a weekly lecture series the rabbi had been holding, which had never drawn more than 20 people. When this guy came to speak, 120 people showed up. But that's not what amazed the rabbi. He wasn't even amazed that at least half the crowd was Christian. He was amazed that when the speaker said it was vital for Jews to make aliyah, ALL the Christians in the room replied with a resounding YES! As the speaker put it, obviously the Christians were aware of something in America that the Jews were ignoring.

So my question is this: does anyone else feel there is a strong probability, almost a certainty, that America will have its own Kristallnacht within the next 5 years? I'm not talking about something nationwide, but about something that would happen in Los Angeles, Chicago, or New York.

Some people thought I was being paranoid; some thought the question was ridiculous because there is MUCH more antisemitism in Europe than in the USA; and most simply did not understand the question, as if the idea of there being religious/ethnic violence in America was unthinkable. I went into more detail on why I was worried about such an event occurring, particularly the letter that had appeared in Stan Goodenough's "Jerusalem Watchman" blog. This letter detailed the blatant antisemitic accusations uttered by Rev. Eric Lee, pres. and CEO of the Southern Christian Leadership Conference of Greater Los Angeles at a presentation honoring a Jewish woman. The hateful content of Rev. Lee's speech didn't shock me so much as the fact that the entire crowd (including members of the mayor's office and state assemblymen) just sat there in silent agreement.

Finally, a member named Ridgerunner posted this message, summarizing and laying out all the thoughts I had but couldn't express. It's an excellent message, and I wanted to share it with you.

Jesus I trust in you!

May I just point out something here. I do not want anyone to quit posting here either.
I also have NO PROBLEMS with controversial topics. I don't mind reading them. Sometimes it causes me to look into the topic further and to either find reason to change my mind or continue to believe as I do.
What was upsetting me to where I felt I had to say something was the way it was presented on here.
Instead of someone just stating what they believed (no matter how strongly) they started telling others that they were wrong or weren't reading the Word or was being deluded. That is where I found the problem. And that is what upset me.
John posted some good stuff and there are others here that believe as he does. I just don't remember them saying the things he said about others' "supposedly" spiritual ignorance. I understand he believes we are wrong to not believe as he does, just as some of us believe he is wrong for what he believes. But we have never called him deluded or someone who doesn't study the Word or even demon possessed.
Some folks so strongly oppose speaking in tongues that they believe it is demonic!!
Everyone tried to nicely to tell him to just state his beliefs and understand that we have to agree to disagree, but he would not let it go like that.
I love the cave! I love EVERYONE here and I hope everyone stays and keeps posting. Let's just not become a stumbling block.
John, you add alot to this blog. Just please take care. That is all that I am asking. If you feel so strongly that we should believe differently, then pray for us. PRESENT your beliefs. And if it is God's will, it will be.
I am not a person for fancy speech, so I apologize in advance.
In His Love and looking up!

If anything like that ever begins to happen, I hope and pray that all of God's people in the United States will stand with Jews.

I don't want persecution but I'd rather be persecuted by man than experience the wrath of God. Any person, people group, or nation who persecutes the Jews and imbibes in the poison of Satan's deep hatred for Jews is simply inviting God's wrath. God loves all people but the Jews are the one's that he has declared are his chosen people because of the faith of Abraham.

Shalom, all!

A few days ago I referenced Mark Mallett's blog, "Spiritual Food For Thought". He's come out with a new entry, The Coming Counterfeit, which, given the addition of "Discernment Ministry Links" on Mr. Hyde's main page, should be of interest to many of the people here in the cave. This blog entry has to do with the counterfeit nature of the coming New Age spirituality, a counterfeit that mimics the "goodness" of Christianity while denying the central tenets of Christianity: the existence of a personal God is denied in favor of expressing the god within each of us; the existence of personal sin is denied (since there is no personal God, there is no Judge, and therefore no sin) in favor of "structural sin" evident in relationships between people, which can be "released" by releasing the god within; and the creation of perfectly androgynous beings -- people of "indeterminate sex", that is, people who are bi-sexual, transsexual, or homosexual -- or at least, embracing these "alternatives."

The blog draws heavily upon a document released by the Vatican back in 2003, Jesus Christ, The Bearer Of The Water Of Life. It analyzes the New Age movement and the challenges it poses to the Christian life. I highly recommend reading both the blog and the document.

Jim C, I read the letter from the Jewish woman and ridgerunner's post. When I start to see the coming generation wonder if dinner jacket has a point, maybe there wasn't a holocaust, or maybe it was exaggerated, I know I will get that sick feeling in my gut and begin to expect our own kristallnacht. It seems impossible to us who lived through the war or are baby boomers, born not that long after, hearing our elders talk about the horrors of the concentration camps. But, each generation forgets a little more and people, being sheep, only need to hear a lie often enough...

I was wondering if you are a subscriber to "Israel Today." You can't get the full story about "Methodist Madness" unless you're a subscriber, and I'm interested in more of a summary (what's the name of the curriculum, etc.) than the article introduction gives. I would advise being cautious about reactions to this article until we know what the full article says. While trying to find out if this story was being carried anywhere else (I couldn't), I ran across this blog entry from the Religious Action Center of Reform Judaism titled, The United Methodist Church, Israel, and Us. It discusses the so-called “Mission Study” published by the Women’s Division of the Board of Global Ministries of the UMC. Apparently, the Unite Methodist Church is so diverse it really is possible for the left hand not to know what the right hand is doing. In this case, the "Mission Study" is truly antisemitic.

This blog talks about the efforts the Jewish Council on Public Affairs took with the administration of the UMC to have this "study" rejected at the UMC's General Conference this last April. Over 90% of the delegates rejected it.

So if a group is publishing a Sunday School curriculum for the Methodists, that doesn't mean it's the only curriculum available for the Methodists, or that the Methodist hierarchy has approved it or even knows about it. We need to advance with caution.

Really good God's Daily Promises today...

A heavenly vision

After I saw a vast crowd, too great to count, from every nation and people and language, standing in front of the throne and before the Lamb. They were clothed in white and held palm branches in their hands. And they were shouting with a mighty shout, "Salvation comes from our God on the throne and from the Lamb!"
Revelation 7:9-10 NLT

Heavenly praise for the Lamb

Many times our prayers tend to focus on this world and the struggles we encounter in our lives. God understands and accepts these prayers, but we must also direct our thoughts and prayers to the victory we will share with Christ. In Revelation, God gives us a splendid portrayal of that final victory. In a vision, the apostle John sees a magnificent scene: a vast multitude celebrating the triumph of the Lamb of God. Waving palm branches, the traditional symbol of victory, people from all over the world extol God for the salvation he had provided through his Son.

As followers of Christ, today, we are privileged to be part of this multitude—the communion of believers. Because Jesus has overcome death, a new life of wholeness and peace through him has opened up to us. This is worth shouting about—praising God with all that is in us!

A prayer for today…

Dear Lord, I join your praying people through the ages to shout about that salvation that comes from you…

Jim C,

Great articles. I'm relieved to see that some Catholics are up to speed on this issue.

Do they speak of these things to the Catholic congregation? Would most be aware? Or only the ones who search things out?

I see they had the UFO comment in there.

Why do you think the Pope said what he did regarding UFO's recently? He did not mention that they would be considered under a "demonic" title such as this article. The interpretation was left wide open.

There is something to this but I'm not seeing it.

Anyway, I've started into researching this UFO subject so I have more knowledge about this than just the "revelation" I had and a few connections tied together.

(When I come up with something I'll post it on my blog.)

The Perry Stone link Grany posted was good. He & his father I think would be considered to have the anointing gift of a "seer" or one who has visions of prophetic events.

What they saw was an economic hardship coming and to stock up on some food/supplies. The price of gas and freight deliverys halting. At least for a period of time. If you have it ahead of time you'll alleviate the stress of trying to obtain these things at the last minute. (Mentioned several other Christians having the same visions/warnings-like many of you!)

I think I'm going to take this as personal precaution even though I have not been one to have this feeling.

(Who knows-maybe you get the food and practical warnings while I get the bizzare-o ones.Do you think I should talk to Him about this?)

The final point being a terrorist attack but he didn't see nuclear explosion. He saw chemical/bio in several US water supplies.

Eisenhower knew

General Eisenhower understood that many people would be unable to comprehend the full scope of this horror. He also understood that any human deeds that were so utterly evil might eventually be challenged or even denied as being literally unbelievable. For these reasons he ordered that all the civilian news media and military combat camera units be required to visit the camps and record their observations in print, pictures and film. As he explained to General Marshall, “I made the visit deliberately, in order to be in a position to give first-hand evidence of these things if ever, in the future, there develops a tendency to charge these allegations merely to ‘propaganda.’”

I'll stop talking about this now.

Lisa, Shalom! You wrote (in regards to Mark Mallett's blogs):

Do they speak of these things to the Catholic congregation? Would most be aware? Or only the ones who search things out?

I honestly can't say. I go to the Catholic Student Center at the local university, so most of the homilies are geared towards living a Catholic Christian life now and after graduation. (Catholics are big on "Evangelization by Example.") The thing is, such ideas would have to be preached in a way that relates to the Bible readings of the day, they would have to be preached in a way that made them exceptional, and they would have to be preached in a spirit of hope not of fear. To explain:

1. The readings are fixed by Church calendar. They're done so in a way that over a three-year cycle, you'll hear 90% of the Bible read to you. (If you go to Mass daily, then in that three-year period you'll hear 99% of the Bible.) The priest has to (or should, anyway) use these readings as the basis for the homily. So to work the coming Chastisements into the homily may or may not be possible; preaching about how we should act during the Chastisements is much easier.

2. People here talk about "the Chastisements" as if they're unusual. They're not. If you don't believe me check out Voice of the Martyrs. The only thing that would make them unusual is the number of people involved. The stories from VOM is the type of stuff that you grow up with as a Catholic. Each week in Sunday School there would be a new saint, frequently a martyr, who was to be an inspiration and a guide to us in our Christian lives.

When you're a kid, they can get away with saying "St. Grace was killed by the Roman Emperor for being a Christian," or that "St. John Nepomucene was tortured by the king for not revealing a confession." When you get older, though, they start giving the details so that you know what you're up against for being a Christian. I'll never forget being in sixth grade and reading that St. Grace was tortured on the rack, beaten until her bones broke, and when she still refused to deny Christ, they cut off her breasts and threw her back into her cell to die. Or how St. John Nepomucene was the "Queen's Confessor" for the Queen of Poland. When the king suspected the queen was unfaithful, he started asking St. John to reveal what the queen had said in the confessional. St. John refused to tell the king anything, even after being offered a large bribe. Finally, in a fit of anger at being refused once again, the king order his guards to hold St. John and to rip open his tunic. The king took one of the torches from the wall and held it against St. John's chest until his flesh charred. When he still refused to reveal what the queen had said, the king ordered his guards to tie rocks to him and throw him in the river.

So Catholics as a rule tend to have grown up with vivid examples of what it means to be a martyr. While I've been told that this "emphasis on violence" is what makes the Catholic Church "sick", I also know that when the Chastisements come, others have suffered before me and I will not be alone.

3. A spirit of hope not of fear. The people who called Catholic martyrology "sick" viewed sacrificing yourself for others as "unhealthy." I was taught to view it as a means of hope: because of these saints' example and sacrifice, many more people came to chose to lead a Christian life. That's still part of Catholic Christian culture. People do need to be reminded of that more often, but it's still there.

My apologies -- I didn't mean to get so involved in this answer. You also wrote: Why do you think the Pope said what he did regarding UFO's recently?

The Pope said NOTHING about UFOs. The Director of the Vatican Observatory said there was nothing incompatible with belief in alien life and Christianity. He also said we could not exclude the possibility of intelligent alien life.

Now I have a slew of information on UFO's and Channelers who communicate w/UFO "aliens".

I know this is not the most comfortable of subject material but it may very well play the major role as the "Great Deception." I got much of it off the Chuck Missler UFO video conference on his site.

I had Todd Bentley's comment in mind when I went after DNA.

"In fact, today, there is a new breed of believers that God is raising up who have the same DNA as the explorers and the astronauts! "

That's when I found out about these "Indigo" children.

ABC Indigo Children

Indigo Crystal Children

Quotes from following link:

"Where do you go from here? Well, basically Indigos are here to help raise the frequency of the planet and everyone living here in preparation for 2012 - when the Earth moves up a notch in frequency.

So when the Earth ascends into a higher dimensional, less dense matter state (from now until 2012), if you do not have a certain level of DNA activation and can tolerate the change in angular rotation of particle spin inside the atoms that make up your cells, then you will not make the transition. "

DNA Perfection

(When you get these 12 strands of DNA you can achieve immortality)

These "aliens" have said "Mother Earth" is going to go through some major Cataclysmatic earth changes to clense out her toxins.

In order to move into the 4th dimension those planning to stay must be on that vibration.Right now we are "infected" with dark forces. People who have the wrong vibrations.

These are quotes from aliens speaking through channelers from the Missler site:

"Incredibly,in 20 years of Indian Shaman, New Age gurus, etc... have connected the coming earth changes w/the disappearance of millions of people. The poeple who leave the planet (one even mentioned the phrase in the "twinkeling of an eye)during the time of earth changes do not fit here any longer, and they are stopping the harmony of the earth. When the time comes that perhaps 20 million people will leave the planet at one time & there will be a tremendous shift in conscienceness for those who are remaining."

After the Aliens evacuate these millions of people instantaneousely-they are taken into enormous ships to be re -educated. Otherwise they can't survive on earth in the 4th dimension.

"Very soon your govt. w/the assistence of our starseeds will reveal to the world at large a truth that they have been guarding most effectively. You govts. of other countries have been interacting w/what you call extra terrestrial for many years."

"The public is now ready for the truth. The conditioning by TV,Newspapers,Books,Radio, & most importantly the Light Workers has done it's job and it is safe to reveal to the inhabitants of Planet Earth that WE ARE HERE."

"Far from the evil sorcerers of Satan, some have made the occupants of UFO's out to be, they are in reality, truly the "messengers of light."

2 Cor 11:14

So we should look out for in the headlines:

Increase incidence of UFO sightings & alien encounters.

Increasing claims of ET life & possibly ET archeology by the scientific community.

Announcements of ET reality.

An "Undeniable Sighting."

Increasing claims from secular sources that the Christian world view is archaic.

Persecution of the Church.

A great falling away if open ET contact occurs & people doubting Biblical worldview.

Tremendous "signs & wonders."

Luke 21:25

(I have not given up on Islam playing a major role as well but this is something to keep in mind on this "New Age" track.)

I have always thought that New Age and a conglomeration of religions is much more likely to be the one world religion than anything else. It is just so inclusive-all roads lead to god and there is no one right way being there mantra. As far as Islam being the one world religion-I think what we need to remember who is behind it and the purpose of it.

Several things to keep in mind

1-it is a one world religion so I think it will need to be something that promotes unity and harmony since I think between Gog and Magog and the Rapture people will be looking for this and that sounds more like new age stuff to me not Islam

2-it is from Satan. He doesn't usually dress stuff up as bad and scary at the start but as pretty and harmless. Pretty and harmless I think we can all agree doesn't exactly described Islam. People right now are scared to death and willing to fight to keep from being converted to Islam. While I agree that beheadings would certainly encourage wholesale conversions it appears to me that the beheadings take place after the one world religion is gone from the scene

3-The Mark and beheadings don't take place until after Antichrist is indwelt by Satan and the one world religion done away with in favor of worshiping the AC. I think we make too much of the mark and the beheadings being islamic religious traits and therefore the one world religion must be Islam. Islam is satanic in origin as well so of course Satan is going to use something from one of his other religions. Further as the article Mac posted pointed out people are already being sold on the idea of a cashless society, chipping their pets etc. Folks are going to be used to this idea and we might already have the chips in place in people. I feel the mark will have a visible component also. If there is no visible component no one will be able to tell by looking at someone approaching-friend or foe. It is entirely conceivable that chips will already be implanted before the AC takes control and then some sort of tattoo is placed over the area for better ID. Frucht in his footsteps of the Messiah has an interesting take on the one world government. He feels that there are several stages in the 4th kingdom that Nebuchadnezzar saw not just the Roman empire and then rebirth of it several thousands of years later. He sees the dissolution of nation states as we see them now, the formation of 10 kingdoms or powers and THEN the rise of the AC out of those 10 kingdom or powers. He reasoning was impeccable however my problem with this is that if this is true why does the AC then need to confirm a treaty with the many of ISrael for peace in the ME? Israel as one of the 10 kingdoms by itself? seems a bit far fetched for me. Much more reasonable that our current status quo is going on at that time and the AC is part of a shared power base as the behind the scenes guy setting up 10 power regions under the UN say and then he decides to take over

the article you posted on people who aren't of the proper vibration frequency nearly knocked me off my chair. I think back during the discussion of the nephilium by those who read the book that either Nate or Harold proposed that the purpose of a resurgence of interest in ufo's, increased sightings and interest across the board in the nephilium by Christians and new age alike could be used to explain away the Rapture so that fewer folks would then turn to Christ and more would be deceived. We are seeing I think the beginnings of the deceptions that will take place during the Tribulation time on a much grander scale.

After reading your comment Jib I began thinking. At the time AC exalts himself in the temple and demands worship, prior to that the Jews will be sacrificing because AC will put a stop to the sacrifices. The orthodox Jews in their minds will be worshiping God in the way that they believe is right and correct. And whether you are pretrib, prewrath, or pantrib, true believers at that time will be worshiping the Lord. I'm sure Islam will still be around and have grown even more by that time. The New Agers will still be "new aging". It hit me that there will not be a call to one religion until AC exalts himself as God and demands worship. And those who do not comply will be sought out and killed. I'd be interested in anyone else's thoughts on this.

Late Night Lisa said...

Jib,

Very good assessments. I never wholly bought into the ideas of Joel Richardson for that very reason.

He is narrowly focused on Islam and I think is Prewrath in view.
So it's more of a "Fight Islam" thought process. Similar to Lionheart's blog.

He does not seem to look at the much broader picture. But as far as research on that topic he's certainly current.

That's why I find Todd Bentley's personal testimony of his "Alien" type encounter and the "New Age" influence of visitating the different levels of heavens, talking w/angels,miracles, and ESPECIALLY the DNA comment to be quite profound.

(Society as a whole is becomming quite used to tampering with DNA now.Modified Crops & Animal Species-next Humans. The Abduction Encounters mainly report the purpose is to implant and harvest human fetuses.)

It all ties together this "Spirit of the Anti-Christ" into a one package deal so to speak.

Alien,New Age,& Christianity-(can we then add the others into this mix?)

Then to top it all off-the fact that Muslims and Jews & some Christians are open to possiblility that God has created ET type life forms-makes you wonder doesn't it?

Plus look at what the Channelers quote what the "Aliens" are saying to us. And so much focus is placed on "Mother Earth" which definately ties into "Global Warming."

The simple fact that these "Aliens" have their own "Rapture" senario.

Yes I agree- People will revolt against "Islam" taking over as a one world Govt. senario. But what could all religions buy into? Has to be much sneakier.

Where I got this Alien "vibrational" info was specifically on the Mark Eastman video session 4 & 5. I also did some research on "Pleiadias" which are supposively one particular type of Alien beings who communicate their "Earth Plans" to humans. This is almost idential to what Oprah is into w/Eckhart Towle.

Chuck Missler also has some great info on "The line of Seth Theory" John was speaking of last week.

Alien Encounters A Christain Perspective

Look at Romans 1:25

They exchanged the truth of God for a lie, and worshiped and served something created instead of the Creator, who is blessed forever.Amen.

1 Timothy 4:1

"The Spirit clearly says that in later times some will abandon the faith and follow deceiving spirits and things taught by demons. "

Then it goes onto say such teachings come through hyprocrital liars & whose consciences are seared. They forbid marriage and abstain from certain foods. (That's something to look for I guess)

16 "Watch your life and doctrine closely. Persevere in them, because if you do, you will save both yourself and your hearers."

Luke 21:8 & Mark 13 Matt 24

He replied: "Watch out that you are not deceived."

Late Night Lisa said...

Kathy,

If this is the order of things.

Gog & Magog happen-Islam gets a tremedous blow. They are weak so who or what steps in?

Is it that the EU and other nations merge toward one world solutions? Meanwhile we have natural disasters happening more and more. The Global Warming people go nuts.

What if at this time more supernatural or alien manifestiations occur. All religions start to come together to decifer what is going on.

But when the Anti-Christ defiles the temple- He forces this collective conscience "New Ageness" onto everyone. A "higher knowledge" and "new reality or dimension." You go w/this thought process and receive "the Mark"-the global refid chip and or/whatever else.

Then his real evil comes out & back to business as usual w/the beheadings and such. You either get on the 'Vibration" or your considered bad for the Planet and society as a whole. You'll hold the individual "Christ like attainability" back from everyone else.

Everyone is pointing to 2012 right now-the Polar shift.

So far that's kind of what I'm thinking.

Anyone want to add or subtract?

Katherine Hall said...

Lisa,

I lean towards Exekiel 38 and 39 falling after the covenant with Israel is signed. In Ez. 38 Israel is described as living securely. (v.8,11) I even see the possibility of two different campaigns. Chapter 38 could be when AC enters Jerusalem and gets ready to set himself up in the temple. I don't see him going in all by himself but he will have his power base with him. Chapter 39 has Armageddon written all over it.

There seems that there will be some sort of upheaval in Europe that will give AC his power base prior to the signing of the covenant with Israel.

Another thing I wanted to bring up. Mt. 24 associates the blood red moon with the return of Christ. Also with the sun going dark and the stars falling from the sky. With the blood moon eclipse coming in 2014/2015, on a day which can be determined, I don't see this as the same event that Christ is describing in Mt. 24 because He said no one knows the day or the hour of His return except the Father.

I can imagine however how the enemy could use false prophets and false Christ to get folks all stirred up over this.

The Experiment

The Happening Trailer

I'm trying to read some comments to figure out what the plot is-here's one:

"Al Gore has done a great deal by bringing the environmental issue to the forefront. He may operate a jet, but the awareness he has raised has more than off-set his perhaps hypocritical behavior. As far as the movie is concerned, we find out a ways into the film that the flora of the Earth are releasing the toxins that are leading people to comitt suicide. They release the toxins based on humans' mood, or 'aura.' It seems they have put up with the selfishness, immorality, and violence of human beings for long enough. It is their way of getting back at humans, not just for the destruction of nature, but for the destruction of humanity. Make of that what you will."

Anyway, there is a wealth of information there in that book and I feel like a sponge soaking in water and soaking it up.

Can you imagine what the USA will be like in 10 years time? I found some articles that I had saved back in 1998 and Bill Clinton's solid standing as a law abiding citizen was under attack, along with his credibility and I just couldn't believe this sort of thing was happening in the USA. Well, we have come a long way baby and things are only getting worse in some areas but there is a big field of improvement in other situations. In 1998 the internet was a slime pit of pornography, sex, hate and a world gone mad. There were very few web sites that were decent enough to read and there sure wasn't any blogs. What in the world was a blog. Sounded like something you would step into and wish you hadn't.

I am so thankful for the precious people who come to share their faith and beliefs with all of us here and on other blogs that make up the internet. God has been good all along and it was man and his flesh that trashed something that could have kept millions from hell. But SUDDENLY! God spoke to men and women's hearts all over the world and created a desire and then a method to put His Words to work in a manner that we could all partake of and learn from and contribute to. No one man or woman should sit themselves above another person as an authority but if we all share what God has done and is doing in our lives, we can make a difference in this world. Who knows the needs of those coming to the blogs to share our comments. They might not say anything and you won't know on the face of this earth what lives you have touched, but one day, in front of a wonderful and mighty Savior, we will learn what we used the gifts He gave us for. Our whole purpose in life is to share and care. To love and know the truth and to extend a helping hand to all who need us. That is a pretty good testimony in and of itself.

I don't want to be a discouragement to any one and least of all a brother or sister in Christ. That is equally a responsibility we all have. I used to have the attitude that I didn't care whether someone liked what I had to say or not. They could get over it! Well, I better get a fast change of attitude if I want to stand before my Savior and I have made headway in some areas. But old habits die hard and so, just like not ever lighting a cigarette or taking a first drink of Alcohol, I tend to sit on my hands alot and when it comes to speaking, and I am tempted to fall back on my old ways, I see a huge giant role of duct tape coming at me. It gets my attention right away. So, I haven't had a lot to say after all of the past two weeks. I am sad to say, somethings should never have been said because hearts were hurt and God's presence waned. Let's don't repeat it!

SUDDENLY CAN HAPPEN IN THE NEXT SECOND.

Shalom,
Grany
