Bless the LORD, O my soul!

Psalm 103:20-22

Bless the LORD, you His angels, Mighty in strength,
who perform His word, Obeying the voice of His word!

Bless the LORD, all you His hosts,
You who serve Him, doing His will.

Bless the LORD, all you works of His,
In all places of His dominion;
Bless the LORD, O my soul!

Oh, happy day; Oh, Happy Day, when Jesus washed my sins away!

I can't believe I beat Alesia, Mac, Mr. Hyde and even JIB!

But JIB, I liked your take on the questions I posed on the previous post. You gotta copy and post it here.

Nate I did some undercover digging and came to this link regarding the March 14, 2008 closed session you posted about. You will have to copy and paste it because I don't have much patience to do the other blue link.

Mr. Hyde, not soon enough and no date has been established beyond a shadow of a doubt because God said you CAN'T !

Are you out in the sunshine yet? I hear it is spring in your neck of the woods or should I have said, in your special sanctum of the cave?

I am full of ......questions tonight aren't I.

I totally agree about the seal judgements-I don't think they have happened yet either but a number do and it is mostly due to language usage. I think we forget that we are linear and God is not.

here's a scenario. The financial situation worldwide starts to get worse. McCain and Palin win but McCain dies before being sworn in due to some liberal nut job which leaves Palin as President. Israel hits Iran during the time between the election and the new President taking office, one of it's missiles strays and decimates Damascus (IS 17) and in retaliation Ps 83 and/or EZ 38 occur (maybe we are looking at different facets of the same war or different campaigns in a war-kind of like the European theatre and the Pacific theatre in WW2). Then on the heels of this or nearly at the same time the Rapture happens leaving whomever Palin has picked to be VP as President of worse yet Pelosi as president since no VP replacement was confirmed due to partisan politics. The world is in chaos and the community organizer beloved of the world suggests that we pool our resources-we are after all global citizens. by that time the standard of living should be so poor all over that it would be an easy sell. at that point all anyone would need to do to take over the world is to take out the 3key players or regions and the remaining 7 would crumple before whomever is taking over. and there you have it. plus if you think about it-there will be so much chaos from all three war incidents and the rapture with the current financial storm brewing that it wouldn't really be all that difficult to strong arm the arabs into a lasting peace with Israel.

Hyde
Feast of Trumpets is Monday 29th. If it does happen then it will be noticed at least in my neck of the woods since I am scheduled to be on ER call that day.

pray for those in Ohio-my dad said there are still 2 million without power and the winde speed was still category 1 hurricane (78mph) even in central ohio. Ike was a BIG dude!

as to the other of date setting-irrelevant of what Blitz says I think we might be able to determine the season but I doubt very highly the day. If you think about it-what Jewish bridegroom who has been waiting to bring his bride home is going to wait a few hours to do so? I rather get the picture of-you mean today? and then it happening instanteously at that moment. I don't see Christ getting the word the day before or even the hour before and waiting any length of time at all. I think Blitz is treading on dangerous ground here and is actually guilty of what people thought Lindsey was guilty of in date setting.

Nate,

All those closed session items listed are catagorized under the "Illuminiti plans". Those who track that sort of thing think this has been a very calculated & planned event.

Although, from the latest Cutting Edge article they don't seem to think this one is the be all end all & is more of a frenzied panic & will rebound.

"Lies continue to zip around the Internet that the American economy is going to collapse in September. In April, we exposed this rumor to be a total fabrication, but too many people are still getting taken in by this scam. Cutting Edge has always maintained that the Plan of the Illuminati is to keep the American citizen feeling relatively prosperous right up until the beginning of World War III, which is defined as the start of the all-out war between Israel and her Arab neighbors. Until you see this war explode, you can be assured that the total collapse of the American economy is still a ways from occurring."

It's from this newsletter

***I don't know if it is or isn't but it was interesting to see the opinion that it's not.

It was a mess here, I didn't lose power but many of my co-workers are still without. Lots of debris & huge trees uprooted, as well.

I agree about Hollywood. Mac's posts this morning got my blood boiling.
My daughter thinks I'm pretty radical (and judgmental) There are many actors that I refuse to spend money to see their movies, won't even rent them, if I am offended by their personal rants, viewpoints, etc. Probably won't make a difference but I'LL know I'm boycotting them!

I'm so far behind on things I wanted to respond to here - have a lot going on in life & in my head at the moment. Please know I've been praying for everyone's concerns though.

read the article and watched the entire video when this first hit the news and he had some interesting points and information some of which is likely relevant. BUT-I still don't believe that we can even know the day since Christ says not even He knows the hour or the day (see Matthew 24:36). I also don't buy into Blitz's arguments that we can know the day and hour. The season perhaps but since Christ also says in the same passage that He will come when not expected and likens his coming to a thief coming in the night I wouldn't expect that any guesses, educated or not, that are made would hold water. If our Lord and Saviour who is God incarnate does not know the day or hour I find it somewhat presumptuous for a mere man to think he can know more than the Son of God.

If this doesn't not come to pass as Blitz says several things may or will happen
1-people's faith may be weakened.
2-the naysayers and unsaved will use this as further evidence that all Christians are fanatics and nuts and that nothing any of us says is worth heeding. Whether rightly or wrongly, you know as well as I do, when someone prominent in evangelical circles says or does something stupid the left and msm has a field day with it. a failed prophecy would be no different. in fact a failed prophecy of this magnitude is in my mind especially dangerous since if it doesn't happen just so those who mock may be more likley to be left behind when it does happen and probably more likely to be decieved by the AC or whatever the great deception that God will bring on folks in the last times.
3-I think Blitz will be held highly accountable for any failures of people's faith since we know teachers are held to a higher standard. if a person who is wavering reads this they might think-hey I've got time i don't need to do anything about my eternal destiny and put off making a key decision. they might die the next day, they might end up in the trib. i personally would not want to have that kind of accountability.

I am in fact a little disturbed by the movement of non jews into the messianic movement. It strikes me to be wrong and the claiming of jewish feasts for non jews strikes me as a subtle re working of covenant or replacement theology. The only feast during the millenial kingdom in fact that the non jews will observe is Tabernacles. which to me says alot.

BTW - interesting scenario, JIB.

I've vacillated back and forth re whether any of the seals have been opened yet. At the moment I’m thinking no. Why? I think people gravely underestimate severity of the seal judgments. We’ve always had wars and famines in the history of our tired world, well before the book of Revelation was written. But the seal judgments will be unparalleled.

Pastor Mark Biltz (not Blitz) did not make the statements that some have stated he said.

First, he did not give a date for the rapture (others implied that if the information he gave about the eclipses in 2014-2015 did mean the physical return of the Messiah, i.e., the Second Coming) then that would mean that the rapture would need to be this year).

But, Pastor Mark Biltz did not even say that the eclipses in 2014-2015 meant that.

He said that he thinks those signs were put there by the Almighty to tell us to WATCH!

Alf Cengia said...

Unfortunately, while it’s true that Mark Biltz and Steve Hadley have gone out of their respective ways to not specifically state that the rapture will definitely occur at such and such a time – already I am seeing other rapturists (non pretribbers) using Biltz's theory as a good excuse to bash the pretrib rapture. It's typical of certain types to do this as a way to shore up their own positions - but that's another story.

Sensational article titles like THIS don’t help.

Biltz has received a lot of publicity – if the rapture doesn’t happen, the pretrib mockers will have a field day regardless of what he really said.

Alf Cengia said...

BTW Lisa, thanks for providing that Biltz link.

Sure it would be great if the Rapture occurs this year! But would it rock my faith? It shouldn't if I am truely only looking to the Finished work of Jesus Christ and not necessarily to the work to come with the Rapture.

Very well said, Nate.

I'll be praying for that lady, Lori.

YOu all have made lots of great points...abaout the 6th seal, the rapture and all of that. I totally agree.

I do want to point out that lots of teachers over the years have highly considered the Feast of Trumpets or Rosh Hoshana to be a possible day for the Rapture to occur...as they see Christ literally fulfilling the fall feasts the same way He fulfilled the spring feasts.
So this is theory is nothing new.

Of course it is all up for discussion and debate.

Personally, I have no idea when it will take place....but I hope it is SOON! :)

Feasts of Trumpets this year begins in Israel at sunset on Monday, Sept 29 until sunset Tuesday, Sept 30.

For those in America (or outside Israel as my jewish calendar says) is Sept 30-Oct 1.

I have a Question! When Jesus calls to the Believers to "Come Up Here" will he be fulfilling a Jewish custom?

I know the scriptures tell us that we are to take the gospel of Jesus Christ to the Jews first and then the world (Gentiles, Goyim) but what Feast ordained by God to the Jews is the rapture fulfilling?

Anonymous you are right about Pastor Mark Biltz's remarks and I have listened to it enough times to remember it clearly. He said "Season" and that is the important part of the discussion. Well put!

Nate, what you said really spoke to my heart because sometimes we get more into "Daddy would you please" rather than "Daddy, I want to thank you and praise your holy name". Me included! I see the hand of God moving today more than all of my yesterdays but that is because I am more acutely aware of serious matters than I was in years past. My faith cannot hinge on situations, it has to be Christ centered and that is all.

I just know that having hope is so vital to our dispositions and God really knows that. I noticed on Monday that the news, though bad, was tempered with God's wisdom, mercy and grace which allowed us all to remain standing. It isn't what we think or don't think that matters, it is what we believe in the secret places of our hearts and minds that matters the most.

Keep in mind though, the Jews were taken into exile because they did not recognize the times and the seasons which were brought about by their rebellion. The whole world, except maybe some little hidden cave in Australia, has rebelled against God in thoughts and actions. We have come to depend more on what the stock market is doing than on what "Thus saith the Lord" and He promised he would not allow us to be destroyed.

We have to get past the view of the pocket book or the bank account and that is one of the hardest weening we will experience in our life times. It is always much easier going up the ladder than coming down but it is do-able. The first time up the ladder I got very heedy and didn't think it would end, I had arrived. Coming down was scary and now, well I am not humpty Dumpty, even though I might look slightly like him but I can be put back together again, by the Grace of God. As an old song said "we did it once and we can do it again" applies to all of us.

We have a lot to pray for today and I am off to my prayer shack. See you all later.

Mac,
I believe that the seals haven't been opened for the same reason. The world will know that it's JUDGEMENT DAY, when the seals are opened, IMO, too.

Grany,
You are so right! When we come to the resolve, that Job had in Job 13:15a, (even though stated incorrectly, as it was satan behind his attack) we have the right mindset. Job said, "Though he slay me, yet will I trust in him."

The rapture? IMO we will know the season. But after, 88 Reasons Why Jesus will Come Back in 1988? I no longer get overly involved with it.
And the same goes for AC predicting :) I've said it before, and I'll say it again: Henry Kissinger was an excellent candidate for AC, at one point in time :)

The season we are living in, is the end. How close are we to the rapture? I dunno. But I do know that we should be praying for the unsaved to join us. It's time to get ready, and the more that make it (with us) the better!

Have a wonderful day in the Lord! And God bless!

Teach Me

"Teach me Your way, O Lord, and lead me in a plain path." Psalm 27:11

"Teach me, and I will be quiet; show me where I have been wrong." Job 6:24

O Lord, teach me to know the vanity and emptiness of the world; its insufficiency to gratify the desires, or satisfy the longings of
the new born soul; yes, its utter inability to make its most devoted votaries happy.

Teach me to value the bliss of heaven above all earthly joys; and to dread the torments of hell above all earthly sorrow.

Alas! how often do the pleasures of sense blunt my sensibilities to those things which are above; while the troubles of time obliterate from my mind, the miseries which await the impenitent and unbelieving.

Teach me, O blessed Savior, cheerfully to refuse the pleasures of sin, which end in everlasting torment; and cheerfully to endure those trials, for Your sake and the gospel's, which terminate in endless glory!

"Show me Your ways, O Lord, teach me Your paths; guide me in Your truth and teach me, for You are God my Savior, and my hope is in You all day long." Psalm 25:4-5

(Thomas Reade, "Christian Meditations")

I have always thought if the rapture did occur on a feast day that it would be the Feast of Trumpets, mainly because it is the next one that hasn't been fulfilled yet.

Then after studying the Feasts and my Jewish roots, it appears to be most likely in that respect too.

But, I will not be surprised if it is just an ordinary day.

The church was born on Pentecost, and yes I know they all were Jews, but the church is a "new man."

And the church is grafted into the Jewish root.

The only thing that any of us can do is speculate really. And while it is true that Jesus said we would not know the day or the hour, I believe that He meant it when He said, "Watch!"

Even so, Come Lord Jesus.

1 Thess. 5:1-9

BUT concerning the times and the seasons, brethren, you have no need that I should write to you.

For you yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so comes as a thief in the night.

For when they say, "Peace and safety!" then sudden destruction comes upon them, as labor pains upon a pregnant woman. And they shall not escape.

But you, brethren, are not in darkness, so that this Day should overtake you as a thief.

You are all sons of light and sons of the day. We are not of the night nor of darkness.

Therefore let us not sleep, as others do, but let us watch and be sober.

For those who sleep, sleep at night, and those who get drunk are drunk at night.

But let us who are of the day be sober, putting on the breastplate of faith and love, and as a helmet the hope of salvation.

For God did not appoint us to wrath, but to obtain salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ,

campsmore said...

I think the rapture may happen near a Feast day, but not on the feast day.

The only reason I would object is that Matt 24:40/41 and Luke 17:35 both describe two people grinding together at a mill and also two in a field, when one is taken away.

Assuming that the scriptures were referring to the same event and that event is the rapture, I would assume that it wouldn't be on a feast day, because Orthodox Jews do any work or chores on a feast day.

I could be wrong....it's just my opinion that I've recently mulled around in my head.

campsmore said...

ugh, i'm tired.... I meant to say that Orthodox Jews don't do any work on Feast days.

Great Grany 5 said...

Lori, you are right, they don't! And they make preparations for it before hand. So, when the day of the Feast is announced they are READY AND WAITING, LISTENING FOR THE SIGNAL AND THEY ARE OFF! If memory serves me right, they don't really know when the day of the Feast of Trumpets begins because it is set by the appearance of the special phase of the moon.

But it almost seems too easy to me for it to be Rosh Hashanah but then, it would be wonderful if it is.

Anonymous, I liked your reasoning on why you feel it will be Feast of Trumpets. You said this also and I agree whole heartedly. "The church was born on Pentecost, and yes I know they all were Jews, but the church is a "new man.

And the church is grafted into the Jewish root."

The Jews first and then the Gentiles! I also love 1 Thess. 5 and the fact that Paul told us we are not in darkness regarding the times so that the day of departure should not come upon us without warning. We all have this itch in our Spirit man to ascend to the heavens and it seems as though the anticipation is growing in greater degrees as each day goes by and we are still here.

If I get to go before you all, I will have the Cheese Cake done Alesia, Coffee made and for LW, Latte over flowing. EndTime is still invited to sit down and sip awhile with us. I know he will be surprised at the date we get there along with some others still here at the blog.

Lori,

When I read Matthew 24 in its' entirety, it appears to me that at least from verse 29 thru the end of the chapter, it is referring to after the King of Kings has returned to the earth at the Second Coming at the end of the tribulation. I think that the parables at the end of the chapter are referring to the separation of the sheep and goats.

Of course, I may be wrong, but I believe that the context of the chapter around those verses indicate that to me.

Grany,
Well, I'm back home with a freshly bleached (platinum) frost.
Any more questions for the day? That was fun :)

As far as the Feast time, rapture? I'm thinking it could be any time, any day, and whenever God desides to turn to Jesus, and say, Go bring our children home. The time is now, the table is set, and it's the end of the day of grace.

But I also believe there will be a second rapture, at mid tribulation. I don't believe that God will bring His wrath upon the world, as long as the tribulation saints are still living on the earth.

Bottom line? God IS good, and good all the time!

Time will tell who was right and who was in error :)

Endtime? Where is he, anyhow, and how do we get to his Caffeine Journal? (wasn't that what he called his blog?)

Donna,

Maybe you're thinking of Romans 1:25.

God's Wrath Against Mankind

18The wrath of God is being revealed from heaven against all the godlessness and wickedness of men who suppress the truth by their wickedness, 19since what may be known about God is plain to them, because God has made it plain to them. 20For since the creation of the world God's invisible qualities—his eternal power and divine nature—have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that men are without excuse.
21For although they knew God, they neither glorified him as God nor gave thanks to him, but their thinking became futile and their foolish hearts were darkened. 22Although they claimed to be wise, they became fools 23and exchanged the glory of the immortal God for images made to look like mortal man and birds and animals and reptiles.

24Therefore God gave them over in the sinful desires of their hearts to sexual impurity for the degrading of their bodies with one another. 25They exchanged the truth of God for a lie, and worshiped and served created things rather than the Creator—who is forever praised. Amen.

26Because of this, God gave them over to shameful lusts. Even their women exchanged natural relations for unnatural ones. 27In the same way the men also abandoned natural relations with women and were inflamed with lust for one another. Men committed indecent acts with other men, and received in themselves the due penalty for their perversion.

28Furthermore, since they did not think it worthwhile to retain the knowledge of God, he gave them over to a depraved mind, to do what ought not to be done. 29They have become filled with every kind of wickedness, evil, greed and depravity. They are full of envy, murder, strife, deceit and malice. They are gossips, 30slanderers, God-haters, insolent, arrogant and boastful; they invent ways of doing evil; they disobey their parents; 31they are senseless, faithless, heartless, ruthless. 32Although they know God's righteous decree that those who do such things deserve death, they not only continue to do these very things but also approve of those who practice them.

I ran across this new one. Oct 14th, 2008 the Pleidians are going to "show themselves" to the earth in an aircraft.

Now it gets quite interesting. The real "aliens" are against the Illuminati-World Govt & Project Blue Beam. The Govt has technology to place holograms in the sky(Project Bluebeam) for military purposes & to deceive people & that they also have a plan to put fake UFO's (holograms) up.

Well-the real UFO guys are ticked off about it so the reason for the OCT 14 date. (What is this? Demonic Soap Oprah Digest?)

I did see a video however which showed a huge billboard on the side of a skyscraper which advertised some type of paranormal TV show and when people would walk near the building a sound would pinpoint right to the person's ears walking near it. It sounded like a creepy whisper in your head.
Really disgusting.

Grany,
In agreement on prayers for your hubby :)

Doubt that the EMP would happen until the tribulation time. Because the Bible says, as in the days of Noah. Business as usual. However, when the tribualtion begins? Who knows, other than God?

Thans for the info. on Endtime, too. I'll have to go to his blog in the very near future. Not tonight, though. I'm ready to blow the whistle, in western WA. :)

May God bless, and leave a light on in the window. (caves have a window, sometimes, don't they?)
Remember, I'm blonde, thanks to my Hairdresser, LOL!

Christians who criticize Mark Biltz and Steve Hadley, particularly those Christians who call themselves pre-trib really tick me off!!!

These two Bible scholars have made some very interesting discoveries that they want to share with fellow believers, and it sickens me to see the amount of bad press they have received over it! People should be ashamed of themselves! Maybe if some people spent less time criticizing them and more time actually looking into what they are saying, they may get something out of it.

Mark and Steve are two of the most well read end times prophecy scholars out there. I have not heard them say anything that contradicts scripture. Their enthusiasm for the scriptures refreshing and contagious. I have learned a lot by watching their videos and listening to their interviews.

First off, neither one of them said that believers are going to be raptured at the end of this month. What they said was that the end of this month would be an interesting date to watch for. Steve Hadley kept saying in one of his videos "What does this all mean? I don't know!"

As for the naysayers who are going to jump all over the pre-trib rapture view if nothing happens at the end of this month, who gives a crap?!!! That is their problem. They are always going to find something to criticize. Some of these post tribbers are going to be raptured and still arguing that it shouldn't have happened until after the tribulation. Maybe God will grant their wish and send them back to earth to sweat it out with the rest of the planet for 7 years.

Some people need to take a much more Berean view of new information instead of automatically discounting it.

Many of us who blog here believe that the rapture will occur some year on the feast of trumpets. Why not this year?

Let us consider some of the reasons why it could be later this month:

1. This September is the start of the next 7 year Jewish Sabbatical. This would coincide nicely with the start of the 7 year tribulation period ending in 2015. If you believe the rapture is going to happen sometime after this year, but before 2015, then it is not going to coincide with a 7 year Sabbatical period. As you know, God is very precise and logical. It seems logical to me that the rapture and the start of the 7 year Sabbatical would coincide.

2. It the rapture did happen at the end of this month and the following 7 years is the tribulation period, then the year following this 7 year period would be the 52nd Jubilee Year. That would be a perfect time for the 1000 Kingdom to start. I happened to notice that if you divide the years between Abraham and David by the number of generations between them (14), it equals 52 years. It is the same if divide the number of years between David and Jesus by the number of generations (14). It also equals 52 years. Is it just a coincidence that the Jubilee year after the end of the coming 7 year Sabbatical starting this September is the 52nd Jubilee?

3. There is the blood moon tetrad corresponding to the Jewish festivals of Passover and Sukkot in 2014-2015. Mark believes this could represent Armageddon at the end of the 7 year tribulation, which would mean that the start of the 7 years would have to be this year. Mark presents evidence that these tetrads in the past on these particular Jewish holidays always corresponded to something significant happening to the Jews. I figure he is either right and Armageddon will happen in 2015 or it will be the Abomination that causes Desolation. Armageddon is a better fit however.

Satan can fake a lot of signs, but he can't fake the cycles of the moon, stars, and planets or the Jewish calendar dates. These are all controlled by God. Genesis says that God gave us the planets, Sun, moon and stars for signs. Why would we not take that at face value?

4. Look at all the crap going on around the planet right now. How many countries are on the verge of economic collapse? How many countries are having elections right now, or have leaders that are barely holding onto power? Look at all the disasters that have happened in the last few months. Look at how close Israel is to war with several countries. Look at the tension between Russia and the U.S. Would it really be that shocking to get raptured this month?

Christians always use the argument that "No man knows the day or the hour." This has to be the most over quoted passage in scripture. It is frequently quoted by the same people that give you a weird look if you mention anything about end times prophecy.

We need to examine the context of Jesus statement. Who was talking about when he said this. Mark Biltz presents some pretty good Biblical evidence that Jesus was talking about the foolish virgins who did not know when the bride groom was coming, not the ones who were prepared.

The feast of trumpets is the only one of the 7 Jewish feasts that God commanded in Lev. 23 for the Jews to celebrate in which "No man knows the day or the hour" when it is going to start. It is the only one of the 7 Jewish feasts that starts at the sign of the new moon. No one knows exactly when this new moon is going to appear as the moon is on a 29 1/2 day cycle. Two witnesses have to witness when the new moon appears and let everyone know when the feast of trumpets can start. It could be on either of the two days allotted. Hence, no one knows the day or the hour when it will start. Jesus was giving us a hint here that He was coming back on the feast of trumpets.

As for Him coming like a "thief in the night", we need to study some Jewish history.

The "thief in the night" was the nickname for the captain of the guard at the Jewish Temple. Part of his job was to ensure that the priests were awake and kept the fire at the altar lit. This fire was originally lit by God and if the priests let it go out, someone would have to get God to relight it. If the captain of the guard "the thief in the night" caught a priest sleeping instead of watching the fire, he would light their clothes on fire. The priest would then have to run through the temple ripping off his burning clothes and exposing his nakedness.

If the priest had been awake, he would not have been surprised and gotten his clothes or himself burnt. Again it seems like Jesus is referring to those who are sleeping that don't know the day or the hour.

Mark Biltz points out that the Church seems to be proud of the fact that they don't "know the day or the hour." Isn't that a pretty dumb thing to boast about? Wouldn't you like to have some clue about when Christ is returning?

The fact is the 95% of born again Christians are sound asleep and have no clue whatsoever what is about to happen. They are about to get their clothes burnt! All the stubble that they have accumulated that is not of a heavenly nature is going to be burned off and they are going into heaven naked.

These are some of the arguments that Mark puts forth about why this September could be "interesting". Steve Hadley builds on what Mark has discovered and adds some even more interesting insights.

Again, neither one of them is picking a date that the rapture is going to occur. However, I have to say of all the days coming up in the next 100 years, if I had to pick a date, I would say that the end of this month is the most likely date.

Do I actually believe that it is going to occur at the end of this month? No, I don't. I am much too pessimistic for that.

So...why don't we cut Mark and Steve some slack? Wouldn't you feel pretty dumb if we did get raptured at the end of this month? I am keeping an open mind.

God Bless,
Harold

Harold,

Very nice job capturing the things that Mark Biltz actually said.

I thought about going into that much detail, but changed my mind.

The thing I found so amusing, it that Pastor Biltz really hopes that he will be here all during the tribulation. He will not speculate on the rapture at all. He hopes to be in Israel showing his people that Yeshua is the Messiah. I have never heard him say that he doesn't believe in the rapture, just refuses to speculate.

I think that some of the confusion is coming from his appearance on Prophecy in the News, J.R. Church and Gary were so excited about stating that if the 2014-2015 eclipses do indicate the Second Coming, then 7 years prior to that means that the rapture would have to occur this year on the Feast of Trumpets, in their opinion. But Pastor Biltz did not make a comment like that, he did not agree with them or disagree with them. Probably because he was a guest on their show.

I think Steve Hadley's nessage on Pastor Biltz's findings was very interesting too. I'm very interested in that 30 day gap, but I can't figure out what it could mean, but I'm still looking at it.

Have you listened to Pastor Biltz's other Torah teachings? I really have learned a lot. Especially those things that we aren't aware of in the Old Testament because they can only be seen in Hebrew.

God's Word is just absolutely incredible isn't it? I love it more and more everyday.

Happy studying to you, and I hope you wish the same for me and all the others that post here.

Maranatha!

Harold

it is interesting-never said that it wasn't interesting but I think it is date setting and while he says season, for him to say he thinks that certain astronomical signs indicate Christ's second coming, and this date this year is of interest, he is in effect date setting for the Rapture as most of us feel that the Rapture happens at least 7 years before-likely longer however. Furthermore I think there are a number of scholars who would disagree with his whole interpretation on the day and hour thing since it does appear to be based on Jewish wedding customs and because they see it in a different context and have a different interpretaion. The groom doesn't know when the dad is going to ok bringing the bride home until just before it happens, he's supposed to be preparing the home and she is supposed to be always ready to get married at any time-so it would seem to me that if we are going to follow the typeolgy through that the verse means exactly what it says-not even Christ knows the day or hour. I do agree that many do use this verse as an excuse to not be informed and not to watch and wait and that is also incorrect.

I find your attitude toward the potential mockers however a little disturbing. one of the things we have been studying about those who lead and teach (in our sunday school class) is the greater responsibility that those folks have. While the mockers do bear some blame for not searching things out themselves to cast all the blame back on the mockers is neither scriptural nor appropriate.

I am firmly pre trib and not likely to change anytime soon but I think of seasons as a general time not a specfic time. When you talk about the seasons you say I vacation in the summer, I ski in the winter, I bob for apples in the fall-general statments and not specific at all. You don't say I'm going to swim in the summer of 2009 and only then. So I think we can know we are in the end times, perhaps we are in the "summer" of the end times, perhaps we are in the "winter" of the end times but I think that's about as specific as it gets.

As Marge correctly pointed out date setting is off puting to a lot of people because of prior experiences with this phenomenon. Perhaps if we stuck to studying what are the signs of His coming, having it empower us to get out there and share the gospel with real urgency behind our words instead of trying to set a date to His coming (I did notice in your diatribe you didn't really address the fact that "knowing" the day and hour takes away some of the urgency to make an eternal decision now and not wait until the last minute ) studying eschatology and talking about it would be considered less weird.

Whether Christ comes this month, next year or 20 years from now should really be irrelevant in a way as we are always to be watching and always to be ready.

Good info, Harold and Anony.

“Some of these post tribbers are going to be raptured and still arguing that it shouldn't have happened until after the tribulation.”

Too funny…and I bet they’ll be telling the Lord he’s made a mistake as well!

"I think that some of the confusion is coming from his appearance on Prophecy in the News, J.R. Church and Gary..."

That would be correct. One website in particular picked up on that show and ran off with the story using that as an excuse to attack pretrib etc. I believe there were a few e-mail exchanges as well. I think that may have been the reason Mark Biltz placed the disclaimer that Lisa linked to yesterday. I saw the Steve Hadley video and can vouch that he went out of his way to say that he wasn’t date setting – just presenting interesting information. I haven’t seen any of the Biltz material.

Like JIB, I too am concerned (more annoyed) regarding the pretrib mockers. And she makes some good points too.

Mr. Hyde,

I owe you an apology. I did not mean to cause such a ruckus on yout blog.

I just wanted to correct some things that some were saying that Mark Biltz said when he in fact said none of those things. I was hoping that they would go to the El Shaddai website and look at his video for themselves.

It doesn't matter to me one bit if people think the double parenthesis around the start of the 2014-2015 year means nothing or soemthing important is going to happen. But it is a phenomenal sign that God put in the heavens and it does mean something. And, that is basically what Pastor Biltz was pointing out.

I was just hoping that if someone pointed out to them that they were misinforming people of what Pastor Biltz ACTUALLY saud that they might just stop and go take a look at his video for themselves.

Anyway, I am terribly sorry. Please forgive me.

(Prayer "Heal Our Land" from Fr. Hampsch)

Heavenly Father, the world seems to be collapsing around us. While families struggle to keep their homes and feed their children, floods and tornados ravage our land; abortion is accepted and same-sex marriage is legal.

Government and business leaders have chosen to walk in the ways of darkness; wars and fighting are tearing countries apart. Crime and violence dominate many towns and cities.

Fear and trepidation grip our hearts; we don't know where to turn. We have fallen from Your grace; we have drifted so far from Your protection. Many don't even know Your name. What must we do to find favor with You, O Lord, what must we do?

O Lord, we are weak and afraid. But You, O Lord, are our strength, You will defend us in battle; Your son Jesus died for our sins and transgressions; "by his stripes we are healed."

We place our trust in You and You alone, we cast out fear, we bind the enemy in Your precious Name. We seek Your face and we turn away from our sins, we are not afraid.

For You have said: "If My people, which are called by My name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land" (2 Chron 7:14).

We claim Your solemn promise, Lord. May Your Holy Spirit help us to fulfill the conditions that You require for its fulfillment, in Jesus' precious name. Amen.

Mac, Shalom! It would have to be an online bible; luckily I know a place or two to find those! And this in no way resembles "Night Shift". For one thing, it's a secure building -- no one in or out without a badge and PIN number. For another, I have no interest in becoming a pimp!

For those of you too young or not enough into movies to catch the reference, "Night Shift" (1982) was about a really nice guy (Henry Winkler) who is stuck in a dead-end job (literally!) as the night manager in the city morgue. Michael Keaton played the get-rich-quick guy who gets assigned as his assistant, and Shelly Long played the cheerful hooker who lived in Winkler's apartment building (and on whom he has a small crush). One day he comes back from work to find that she's been slapped around by her pimp. Through a series of events, he winds up becoming her pimp. Keaton picks up on that, and wants to start making money by running a prostitution ring out of morgue during their night shift. The group winds up being very successful mostly because Winkler and Keaton treat the entire thing as a regular small business with regular employees with regular benefits: health and dental, profit sharing, etc. As a result, other girls want to leave their pimps and start working for them, leading to the inevitable downfall. Funny when I saw it back in college; now I think it would just strike me as sad.

Heavenly Sign Watching: Part I

Anony

would be interested in hearing more about your Jewish roots.

and BTW- I HAVE watched the video that Pastor Blitz made, in it's entirety. I came away from it with a different opinion than you and Harold.

Jim C
welcome to my world-except I have to work all day too. ah well. I liked the prayer you posted-quite true. While I don't entirely disagree that Christ will come at the Feast of Trumpets, I think it would be a mistake to expect Him to come only at that time. I think it is incumbent upon us to be as watchful, waiting and ready 90 days from now as 10 or so days from now.

jib said...

2 general questions for everyone (designed for making us think about the information critically and to assess what impact it has had in our lives if any)-

1-Has the information presented by Pastor Blitz changed your witness to the lost (since it hit the scene several months ago)? All of us have felt a sense of urgency that we are in the last days but has this information INCREASED your sense of urgency? He has indicated that he thinks the second coming could be in 2015 based on astronomical signs- so like it or not unless you hold to a view like pre wrath, mid trib, post trib that would make the rapture this year and he does hold that he feels the rapture will happen on the feast of trumpets. So, If you really think that this year is the year of the Rapture and that it will happen on the Feast of Trumpets in roughly 10 days-is that changing the urgency of your witnessing to the lost. or not?

2-if one believes that the Rapture will fulfill the feast of trumpets, does that mean one doesn't have to watch and wait at any other time?

You guys and gals are all fantastic and I love the discussion this morning. It is still morning here in the beautiful country that God created and man decided to call Oklahoma. I know you don't come here for a weather report on Okieland but you are going to get it anyway! Most generally, at this time of the year, everything that was green has turned to rust or just plain brown. Summers here can be rough and the poor green trees, grass and bushes are begging for some heavenly rain. This year, it is so Gore-geous it makes me want to break out in singing "OKLAHOMA" but it looks more like spring time.
Abba is good to us all you know and I needed to see the green, green grass of home - GREEN!

Now, on to the good things. I love the challenge of discovering a new hidden gem in God's word and I truly do believe with every fiber in my body that there are many passages that were locked up from our understanding until the time to reveal it had arrived. I get upset too when people try to put a different spin on God's word but that just causes me to dig a little deeper and concentrate more on what HE IS SAYING AND TO WHOM, ABOUT WHAT!

When I was quite a bit younger and so involved in day to day living and providing, I could really get the blood flowing strong hearing or reading what some one had determined about scriptures. Being in a set mind on time frames can be an immediate stumbling block and I have lived through many dooms day predictions. I have also lived through many masterfully determined AC identifications. But this thing with the blood moons, Appointed Feasts and their conjunctions has greatly pricked my mind, heart and Spirit man. I keep saying "Huh?" and dig a little deeper. The deeper I dig, the more I am saying "Huh?" and I might not get to finish this digging expedition before HE shouts!

I am more interested in who he is speaking to in this regard than I am the time frame right at this point. Before I will accept what mere man has to say, I want to know in my spirit what the Holy Spirit has to say. I can't ever make the mistake of jumping to the conclusion that it is all about just one entity. Not all about one period of time either. But just don't assume anything without really seeking the Holy Spirit's direction. So sharing here really is important to all of us and there is a lot more to share just around the bend.

Anonymous, you did good and I enjoyed your feed. Thanks!

Love to all of you,
Grany

JIB, you asked if what Pastors Biltz and Hadley had shared affected my jeal to share the gospel with the world. YEP! Oh, I live in a truly Wild West little town located just north of I-40 and this has become the melting pot substation of the USA. Especially my neighborhood. Men and women wear cow boots. Boys and Girls, babies, senior citizens, and the only things that don't wear them are the dogs and cats. You hear more "Yahoo" than you do Hello around here and oh, do they love to rodeo. Well, rodeoing is a great place to share Jesus. Wal-Mart is a great place to share Jesus and so is Western Sizzlin. Braum's, Sonic, Texaco Truck Stop, you name it and there is always a way to share Jesus. I am not a great one to walk up to someone and out of the clear blue sky ask them if they know Jesus Christ as their personal Savior but if He told me to I would.

But the zest to share has only increased more and more but I cannot say it is because of the topic of the Blood Moons and the Feast dates lining up as they have been told. NO, it is the quickening by the Holy Spirit that time is short and things are going to start going in a spiral starting now! I used to think that was only caused by eating too much pizza but I know better now.

When I am awakened in the middle of the night, praying in the Holy Spirit and inwardly weeping, I know it is a God thing. When I go to do something and I get a nudge not to do that because I won't be needing it, I pay close attention. I know in my knower beyond a shadow of a doubt that God has already started the show and only by the grace of God and with his provisions tucked firmly in my heart, will we survive. We meaning Hubby and I. It isn't a matter of age of either one of us. It is a matter of divine intervention.

The sad thing to me is we have more fear of the dinner jacket of Iran and the Czar of Russia than we do of God. Not everyone, but most of the conversations represented on the internet reveal it. We fear the markets crashing all over the world, the bombs, missiles, hurricanes, tornadoes, and on and on. But what about Just being Mindful of God's Word and warnings against rebellion and disbelief?

Sorry, but none of you wonderful people or add the really obnoxious ones, cause me to have great fear or even to weaken my knees a tad. No! Purely stated, you could, if I let you, destroy only my physical body, but God can destroy much more than any of that.

So, dig a little deeper in the scriptures and let the thinking of man grow dust on the book shelves of your mind. Let the Holy Spirit reveal His truth and he will, you know. Because he only tells you what comes from the Father and the Father loves you all greatly!

Jib,
You made some great points in your 11:18 P.M. post. Especially your last paragraph! So correct! We need to work as though the rapture won't happen in our lifetime, and yet expect it to be any hour, IMHO. After all, we are called to be Christ's Ambassadors on the earth. We are to be about our Father's business.

Your poll is also interesting. However, I have only heard about Pastor Blitz here, at the cave, and haven't followed what he's saying, or said. Or the other gentleman that has been mentioned here, either.

I believe that God has His own criteria when the day of grace will come to an end. And it may be based on people coming into the Kingdom of God. In that case, we would be clueless, as to the time. I firmly believe that when that last person is saved, in this era of grace? That's the time of the pre-trib rapture. I suppose that's why I don't get overly excited about dates, and such.

Anonymous,
Do you have reference to a gap theory, after the rapture and the beginning of the trib.?

I have heard one theory about a time, perhaps, being in-between. It's based on the "earth lease." (Charles Capps) He says, that God only leased the earth to Adam for a set number of years. (knowing all about the fall of man, etc.) And that when that set number of years is up, there may be a peroid of time, between the rapture (or even before the rapture) where a world wide revival could break out. One last call. Perhaps/maybe. It's based on the earth lease theory. Interesting. But Charles Capps only mentions it as a possibility.

Does anyone else think that God may have a few curve balls for the end times? (since we're taking a poll, anyhow?) I do :)

Again, before the birth of Christ, how could anyone have ever figured out, "I will call my Son out of Egypt?" After the fact, it's pretty easy to see, though :)

Have a great day! And keep the discussion going, by all means. It's interesting!

Mac,

Thank for for exposing my "Expelled" typo.

Harold,

I'm looking up & am as excited about all the new info & findings as you are! Come Lord Jesus I think you may be telling us something! And who does he speak through? His prophets.

Do you think Jesus is upset with me because I'm listening to the people who He's called to be Pastors & Teachers on earth? He's looking down @ me & saying "Boy, Lisa I wish you wouldn't get so excited or joyful at the thought of my return. It would be better if you restrained your enthusiasm. Many Christians have been saying I'm coming but were wrong & have given me a bad rap. Don't blow all this new possible prophetic info out of proportion as you'll make yourself look like a fool & discredit the Christian witness. There are many signs now but take all things in moderation & keep your zeal on an even level. I'm not going give any indication of My coming to My prophets so just be ready @ all times."

Or is He looking down and thinking.” That girl sure spends a lot of time watching and listening to My prophets and look at her excitement about My return.
I'm sure to be glorified through her enthusiasm. The day I do come My lost sheep who knew her will realize she spoke the truth when very few where paying attention. She's been mocked & humiliated for My sake."

Whether this Rosh Hashanah is "The Time" or not-every prophetic event that comes to pass is just one step closer to the return of our King. And I can't help but to be excited every step of the way. I really can't - the fire within is on continual simmer. My problem is that I need to let it out more and not fear what people are going to think of me. My fear is my true problem. Not my enthusiasm for the Lord's return.

So what if I sound like a dying sheep w/labor pains when I blow the shofar? I plan to blow one (maybe get a better model) every Rosh Hashana.

To me it's a call to our King that His bride is awake & eagerly awaiting His return.(Whenever that may be.) More of a sign of respect & a reminder of His promises to the Church.

But like Harold mentioned-This particular Rosh Hashanah has blinking arrows pointing to it for those who are watching the signs.

It's amazing how clear the prophetic focus became to those studying Biblical prophesy after some pastors w/a Christian perspective looked through the "Jewish Lens." Maybe replacement theology was used to keep the Christians in the dark until the proper time. It doesn't appear that God reveals too much prophetic detail until very close to when it is going to occur.

The problem is that people get stuck in tradition and when something new comes along they dig their heels in & don't want to give it honest consideration. God speaks through His prophets and is active & on the move. Especially in our day.

He neither slumbers nor sleeps. We don't have a major prophet like Moses to follow but I think He does reveal bits & pieces to several pastors & prophetic type Christians in our day. If what they say fits together w/scripture then certainly it's worth our consideration.

If someone claims they have the major DSL "hotline" to God-then unless they are the two witnesses of Revelation I'd be wary. Those are the types that lead people off into a prophetic type of spiritual suicide.(OR physical suicide.)

Excellent post, Granny!

We were just discussing the fear of God in our small group Monday night.

We are reading Victory Over the Darkness by Neil Anderson. I underlined this section last week:

"The first emotion expressed by fallen humbankind was fear (see Gen. 3:10). Fear of anything other than God is mutually exclusive to faith in God. Why is the fear of God the beiginning of wisdom (see Prov. 9:10) and how does it expel all other fears."

As a worrier myself, this really hit home and got me thinking!

With fear of God - and I think that includes reverence for who He is AND a sense of trusting Him - those other fears should diminish. A matter of proper perspective.

Now, how to put into practice . . . (for me, I think, definitely a process!! ) ;-)

But, so agreed with your thoughts regarding focusing more on Him and less on man. At least, I've been pondering the same this week.

Good word of reminder. thanks.

Hey Nate, your post about the illuminati agenda is interesting, and if true, may be the end point of the plans that have been germinating since Adam Weishaupt in the 18th century.
Since today is my 1/2 day off, I got home early and was watching the financial news with lunch (and yes I still had a appetite). They are reporting 180 billion US dollars is being injected into the central banks from smaller banks throughout the world. Apparently the funds come from private banks and go to central banks, in the US this is the Federal Reserve. The story seemed strange when I heard it because as we all know the US dollar is only paper, and worthless in international exchange. Then another commentator later came on and stated that the small US private banks are giving the Fed certain securities, US treasury bonds. So, we essentially have private assets passing to the Fed and other national central banks in exchange for worthless US dollars backed by us the taxpayers. And, remember, this is global not just the US. It occurred to me this could be the perfect setup for a global centralization of the financial markets, including the US. I think we're going up soon, people.

Who's turn is it to make the coffee first. I'll start with my best kona/coconut/dark chocolate mix.

BTW, on the building with the noise emitting from it. There is a scientific explanation. You can actually buy speakers that do this. Google "hypersonic noise".

Anne, Shalom! I've been thinking for a long while about what he wrote last week, The Hour of Decision, about abortion and the coming Chastisement. Something suddenly clicked when thinking about Ba'al and Moloch. In the cult of Ba'al (and all the other names for the same god), the first-born male would be sacrificed: cut into pieces and burned on the altar in a holocaust.

Nowadays, we take all our children, cut them into pieces, and dispose of them as medical waste. And what is usually done with medical waste? It is burned.

We are making a holocaust of our children.

Jewish scholars agree that the reason why G_D chose Abrahm to become Abraham and promised, "I will bless you abundantly and make your descendants as countless as the stars of the sky and the sands of the seashore" is because Abraham did not follow/practice/agree with the followers of Ba'al. This also explains to me why Abraham so easily agreed to G_D's demand that Abraham sacrifice Isaac: in Abraham's experience, sacrificing your first-born male child is what all the local gods required. Imagine how hard this must have been for Abraham: he had spent all his life seeking after, following, and obeying HaShem, believing that HaShem offered a better life than any other god; and now, in his 75th year, the G_D he had followed was ordering him to sacrifice his son, just like all the other gods commanded their followers. Yet Abraham still followed G_D, and had faith in Him.

The same effects can be achieved from sitting in my car during 5 p.m. traffic going home from Ft. Smith and having a youngman (Mostly) with boommmmm, bobobobobmmmm boxes loaded to the 10's in back of you. One of these days,!

We just got back from my eye appointment and I really did dread it then I realized that God has given me two eyes and I have almost perfect vision in my left eye. I have a lot to be thankful of and just to be reminded of it really blessed me.

The exam was really rough and I am still seeing horribly bright patches of light and my eyes are so heavy. Doc told me that the right eye with the hole in the maculala hasn't changed much but the left eye appears to be strengthening from the last exam 6 months ago. I have settled it in my heart that this is a doable situation and I am praising the Lord that his mercies endure forever. I am singing Bless the Lord, O my soul,
and all that is within me,
bless his holy name!
2 Bless the Lord, O my soul,
and forget not all his benefits,
3 who forgives all your iniquity,
who heals all your diseases,
4 who redeems your life from the pit, who crowns you with steadfast love and mercy,
5 who satisfies you with good
so that your youth is renewed like the eagle's. Psalms 105: 1 - 5.

Oh, I love that one too! Do you all want me to copy all of the ones I truly love? Well, you would have almost the whole Bible reprinted here. So, just know that I love Him and he has been and is my father from the time I was a little bitty girl (my daddy died when I was 2 years old), my friend, my favorite one to run to with everything, and he has been my husband. He has provided for me even when I had walked away from him. I love him because He first loved me.

Upon that note, I'm leaving for work this evening :)

well Grany, Marge's and Lisa's replies are exactly as I knew they would be.

1-you missed the point of my post
2-from my perspective (which might be involve inaccurate assumptions) you quite frankly always seem to exhibit the same level of excitement whether we're talking about aliens or blood moon scenarios

Great Grany 5 said...

JIB I have to say that me getting excited anymore than I already am is likened unto a volcano with great moving and shaking but no other action. It takes a coffee break for me to get out of my recliner most times. But your response got me moving and settling some things in my heart and mind. Thank you sis! Heaps and heaps.

The experience I have had with the whole episode of the Blood Moons has been right here on the blog. Oh, and at Perry STone's web site and Prophecy in the News web site. But mostly it is what I have garnered on the blog but it is a real door opener in some circles. That's when i get to pose that 64 million dollar question to my victims, er, I mean contacts.

But my excitement is because there is a whole new topic to tackle the buggers with and I am still waiting for the perfect opening so I can strike. Realize most of my contacts now are the ages of my grandkids and I have spent most of their lives in a church setting of some sort. Oh, Happy Day, oh, Happy Day, when Jesus Washed my sins away......!

But I have a bigger fear than any of that. Not really a fear but a "caution" sign that keeps flashing ever so often. It is that we will all get so caught up in all of this stuff that we will miss the harvest by sitting along the side lines debating this or that when all Jesus really told us to do is Preach the Gospel unto all parts of the World. Between that and the number of Saints to go UP, UP, UP AND AWAY, we have our marching orders already in hand.

So, my song has changed tempo and we are singing "Marching, marching to Zion" We are going to make it Joyce and thanks to your having the good sense to put it into perspective, we will get it done right. And right on time too.

Hey Granny,
When I was 17, I broke my neck at three levels and by a miracle (traditional use, not the over-used modern use) I was healed enough to walk, and live a very normal life. Yet, for many years I lived with severe pain and still have a pretty bad limp when I do too much. All these years and every day I thank God for what I do have and hope for my resurrection body. I can't wait to run really fast again and to be able to roller skate and back stroke in a straight line. (as it is I go in circles in those sports due to the side-to-side imbalance), and how about a brain without the effects of the curse. What will we be able to invent, create, enjoy we can't even imagine now!! I will pray your bad eye lasts until He comes, and praise Him your good one has improved. Whatever happens until He comes, remember it's only temporary.

One little thing I wanted to bring up....as far as the biltz and hadley stuff goes...all it does is add some science and some other tangible reinforcement that what the Bible appears to teach.

I should also add that there are some Bible teachers who believe that Rosh Hoshana is the day that Jesus will step back down on earth at the Mt of Olives. So no, we should not be too dogmatic about it and it certainly should not cause division.

I'll tell you, most folks would think we were all nuts if they read half of these posts!

SCOTT, I go in big for miracles (real ones I mean) and I am so glad that God touched you in a miraculous way. You see, I think it is a miracle when people (US) can praise God for the wonderful things he has brought us through. The world just moans and groans because they have no hope and cannot see the glory of the Lord in the situations they are in.

I thank God for you too Scott and it is OK to swim in circles; anyone can swim in a boring straight line. Look at the Gold Medal winner in the Olympics this year. But I will join my prayers with your that you will indeed do all of those things that your heart desires before we leave this earth together in that great shout! How about the rest of you joining Scott too.

Actually, I liked your post & found it well written.

I would have to say the Blood/Moon senario gave me an extra few shots of java. Not only did it provide me something interesting to bring up but also a "boldness" that is not always present in me.

It's probable that Jesus will return on the Feast of Trumpets but since we won't know until it happens that does not give us reason to be slack the other 363 days in the year.

He commands us to "watch always" so that's what we should be doing.

Only the Lord knows what new prophetic info will be sprung on us in the near future & Yes-I'll be just as excited about it-whatever it may be.

(I'm still waiting on that Ark of the Covenant. Wouldn't that get the blood flowing! Or how about Damascus in a runious heap?)

Or do you not believe with 100% certainty that we are the last generation who will see all these things occur?

I was not going to post anymore, but I would still like to say a few things, just for the purpose of clarifying my thoughts.

I found the information that Mark Biltz shared extremely exciting. For me it seemed that God had put NEON LIGHTS around the 2015-2015 jesish year.

I remember seeing that picture earlier in the year of the blood red moon over the Dome of the Rock, any my spirit was elated. Since I believe with all my heart that the Bride of Christ will be raptured before Daniel's 70th week begins, I kind of felt like it would be the only one I will ever see, and even then, it was via a photograph. I have seen a couple full eclipses of the sun in my lifetime, and was not moved in any way except that it was interesting.

I think what Mark Biltz found on the NASA site, is indeed very important.

It is possible that it means Jesus' Second Coming may be at the end of the jewish year (our 2015), and it may mean something else entirely.

One thing I am praying about, Mark did not find another sign that profound for the rest of the century. But, he is still looking.

Donna,

I saw your post asking about the "gap" on my lunch hour, but I don't blog at work. And, I had a Bible Study class to teach after dinner tonight.

Pastor Hadley's sermon on the Purim connection was done weeks after he did his sermon on Pastor Biltz's findings on the eclipses.

He was digging into Mark's findings and he found a strange (in my mind's eye) thing.

Keep in mind Donna that Pastor Hadley may be using the wrong parameters.

He posits that the jewish year 2014-2015 is the last year before Jesus' second coming.

He then posits that the tribulation begins on Rosh Ho-shana (the Jew's New Year) or the Feasts of Trumpets and that the 2nd Coming occurs on The Day of Atonement (Yom Kippur).

We know the Bible tells us that Daniel's 70th week is 7 years. Also, we know that the 2nd half of the tribulation is referred to as 42 months, 1260 days, time, times, and half a time which is same as 3-1/2 years.

So Pastor Hadley took a Jewish Calendar for those 7 years, and he actually counted the days using the parameters I mentioned above.

He found that when he counted 1260 days backwards from Yom Kippur 2015, it took him to April 12, 2012. But, when he started counting 1260 days from Feast of Trumpets 2008 it took him to March 12, 2012 (which also was the first day of Purim). That showed a difference of 30 days between March 12, 2012 and April 12, 2012.

Then there is the Daniel 12 scriptures which say starting at verse 8:

8. Although I heard, I did not understand. Then I said, "My lord, what shall be the end of these things?"

9. And he said, "Go your way, Daniel, for the words are closed up and sealed till the time of the end.

10. Many shall be purified, made white, and refined, but the wicked shall do wickedly; and none of the wicked shall understand, but the wise shall understand.

11, And from the time that the daily sacrifice is taken away, and the abomination of desolation is set up, there shall be one thousand two hundred and ninety days,

12. Blessed is he who waits, and comes to the one thousand three hundred and thirty-five days.

13. "But you, go your way till the end; for you shall rest, and will arise to your inheritance at the end of the days."

It may not be possible for us to figure out what happens in those extra days (1,290 and 1,335 days) as GOD may be keeping it from Satan also, but I am curious. Also, when I ask God about whether it is wrong for me to wonder about those things, the only thing I feel in my spirit, is "Study to show thyself approved, a workman, rightly dividing the word of truth."

So, although I do not think that Purim is the answer, as that Holiday is only 2 days in the Bible, not 30 days. And, if Pastor Hadley's starting and ending dates for the last year is incorrect, then all we are left with is "I don't know." just as Pastor Hadley said.

If you are interested in looking closer at the eclipses and things that Mark Biltz discovered, I highly recommend you listen to his 4 sermons om the Feasts of the Bible, which you can listen to on his website - just click on "More Studies" from his menu on the left hand side of the screen. Happy studying Donna. You have a lovely spirit of grace that comes thru loud and clear. See you soon in the Father's House.

Someone said that they were interested or curious in my jewish roots. First of all, I am a gentile. I was referring to us (goyim) being grafted into the Jewish Olive Tree as spelled out in Romans by Paul. That's all.

I came to this blog for a friend who was deeply confused by a comment someone had made, and wanted my opinion. I never meant to intrude or cause any hard feelings towards anyone.

My prayer is that God will bless each and every one of you richly.

Anony
please continue to contribute-however since I appear to be the resident questioner at some point I probably will challenge you-just don't run away. I like things orderly and logical and moreover to be in relation to scripture. I do like learning about new things and I am fascinated with things like what Mark Blitz has posted I do however look at new things very critically and don't jump on the bandwagon with every new things that comes down the pike. They also need to be put in perspective if you will hence my comments about what Blitz has said and what difference other than being something new and exciting to yak about has it made in your life.

I find oddly enough that it gives me more serenity. The more bad news about the economy etc I hear I seem to stay serene. Very unlike me-I am a control freak and worrier to the nth degree. Mark Blitz's stuff has made me very introspective about getting my house and self in order and I do find that it has made me bolder. For what it's worth, I see the eclipse of 2014-2015 as the one mentioned in Revelation and associated with the Wrath of God-just before the mid point of the Tribulation. My other thought was that particular eclipse occurs with the abomination of desolation.

keep in mind, as I recall not all the blood red moon sightings have been associated with ANY activity regarding Israel, further some of them as I recall have been associated with highly negative things-I do seem to recall he said something about a blood red moon in AD 79 with the fall of the Temple didn't he?

Now to all of you, I enjoy your individual take on things and I do experience all of the range of emotions represented here. But being an old fuddy duddy leads to concerns that I really feel strongly about and so it comes through ever so often in my comments. I encourage to the point of going over board that your first love should be the scriptures and Abba who sent them. I then remember that at one time I had that burning desire to know what each and every tittle and dot meant. But as my days get shorter and I begin looking upward, I only want more of Him and less of me. The only way I can achieve that is by His Word to all of us. The dots and tittles are still very important and I so greatly cherish the discovery of each and every one of them. When I was your ages, there was no understanding of the Blood Red Moons, deep meanings of the Feasts for us, as Goyim, and for sure, my grandfather's generation thought it was the last generation on the face of the earth when World War 1 began. Remember, the Belfour declaration had already given the land back to the Jews before WWI. So, with the roaring 20's it looked a lot like Sodom and Gomorrah, and the battles starting was seemingly putting all of the puzzle picture together. By 1929 no one thought there was to come a SUDDENLY. But on the 29th of October Wall Street Fluttered and died!

I know that I am living in my last generation but like Marge says, God has a few curve balls to deliver before we exit en masse. The thing with curve balls, they always look like the ball is being thrown in a different direction only to come right back at the target!

Love you all,

Work was rough today. I've been fed up with my boss. He's a nice guy, but his heart is not in this business and therefore the business is suffering. I've addressed a few issues which keep getting blown off. My boss had today off and his boss's office called today with figures that should've been readily available and were in fact, nonexistant. The office sent in someone to straighten everything out and now all "you know what" has broken loose. It seems our facility is at least $600 short of what we should have.

I felt somewhat put on the spot and cornered by the entire event and began crying almost hysterically. (Menopause at work) I mentioned that I didn't want to come to work on Monday.

I cried all the way home and that even after, lasted about an hour. About 3pm-4:30pm. I have the bloodshot eyes to prove it! lol

A glass of wine later, my emotions are in check. Those of you who know me, know I'm not a wine drinker, so this was a once in a lifetime thing.

I got a phone call from my second line boss and they are handling the situation and have asked me to stay. They are going to handle everything on Monday.

My 2nd and 3rd line's will be there as well as the guy who initially trained me. (a good guy)

Please pray for me and for my boss. BTY, my boss has a future in singing country music, (he better hire an accountant) Someday I can say, "I got him fired." NO, I'm JUST KIDDING!!!!!

This fallen world we live in sure can be tough at times.

Perhaps to help point us to something better.

Shalom, all! Lori Campsmore, my prayers are with you. Be filled with hope that the darkness of this time will, through G_D's work, bring light both to your company but to untold others who will benefit from what happens. As for your boss being a country singer, don't laugh. If it is best for him to pursue that option, then his getting fired might be what is needed to put him on that path. Reminds me of the story of the bird, the bull, and the cat.

One cold winter's morning, the bird woke to freezing weather. She was so cold she knew she was going to die, and began to cry. A bull heard crying, came over, and dumped a load of bullocks on her. While the stench was terrible, the "material" warmed her up thoroughly. She began to feel better, so much better that she began to sing. A cat heard the singing, came over, and began to clean her up. When she was thoroughly clean, the cat ate her.

Moral: not everyone who sh*ts on you is your enemy, and not everyone who cleans you up is your friend.

(Gee, almost sounds like a C&W song, doesn't it?)

Grany, my prayers are also with you. Unlike Lori, I'm not about to directly command Satan to leave you be. While we as Christians may be granted great power over demons, we have to remember that demons come with varying powers and strengths. Satan is/was (depending on your theology) a great (as in powerful) archangel -- of the same order and magnitude as St. Michael. Unless we have perfect faith and perfect hope, directly commanding and confronting any demon can have destructive effects. I would much rather ask G_D the Father, by the power of the Holy Spirit and through His Son Jesus the Christ, to command Satan to leave Grany alone and to pour the Blood of Jesus over her for her protection. That way, if Satan has a beef, he can take it up with G_D rather than taking it out on you.

Also, out of curiosity, I checked to see which Catholic saints are patrons of blindness and eye problems, and of the 13 or so listed one name jumped out at me: St. Lucy. Her story struck me as something we need to be prepared for, especially in these times.

Lucy's name means "light", which is probably one reason she is associated with blindness. All we know for facts about her life is that she lived in Syracuse and was martyred during the early 300's. A number of legends about her have sprung up, which are probably amalgams of her life with the lives of other martyrs of the same time. She reportedly rejected marriage to a pagan, preferring to serve G_D instead. The rest of this story comes from Catholic Online's list of Saints and Angels:

Unfortunately, legend has it, the rejected bridegroom did not see the same light and he betrayed Lucy to the governor as a Christian. This governor tried to send her into prostitution but the guards who came to take her way found her stiff and heavy as a mountain. Finally she was killed. As much as the facts of Lucy's specific case are unknown, we know that many Christians suffered incredible torture and a painful death for their faith during Diocletian's reign. Lucy may not have been burned or had a sword thrust through her throat but many Christians did and we can be sure her faith withstood tests we can barely imagine ... Whatever the fact to the legends surrounding Lucy, the truth is that her courage to stand up and be counted a Christian in spite of torture and death is the light that should lead us on our own journeys through life.

Lucy's iconography usually shows her holding a dish or a bowl with two eyes. One legend says that as part of her torture, Diocletian ordered that her eyes be put out. The legend says that G_D later gave Lucy "new eyes", healing her blindness.

Saint Lucy, you did not hide your light under a basket, but let it shine for the whole world, for all the centuries to see. We may not suffer torture in our lives the way you did, but we are still called to let the light of our Christianity illumine our daily lives. Please pray for us to have the courage to bring our Christianity into our work, our recreation, our relationships, our conversation -- every corner of our day. Amen

Silly, I know, but here's a few blurbs I just ran across:

* "The Rapture: Separation of Church & State".

* Exposure to the Son may prevent burning.

* Give God what's right, not what's left.

* Read the bible: It will scare the hell out of you.

I just got up from a long nap and really didn't want to open my eyes. The pain has gone and I am so very thankful. I will read the comments here, later but I just wanted to say thanks for the prayers because I know you prayed.

I was getting physically sick from the force and power of the attack but I knew if I could lay down it would help. Then I was reminded to tell my brothers and sisters in Christ and seek their prayers.

I will check back after I read and catch up.

Love you all,

Grany

Alesia-I love those blurbs. "Read the Bible..." is my favorite.

Well-I'm tempted to feel sorry for myself already but I'm not.

We are out of gas here in my area of TN. Literally OUT OF GAS. NO MORE GAS.GAS ALL GONE. Zip,Zero,Ziltch.0000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000

There was ONE station w/some left & the line was so long it was blocking the freeway entrance & the cops had to show up to keep the peace.

The word is they shut down the gas line in the gulf to prepare for IKE & have to get the electricity back in order to make the pumps work again. They are hopeful to get the trucks back to refill the stations by next Tuesday. ??

(Liars, liars, pants on fire! I bet were a test case for the govts. latest shenanigans.See what happens in the Bible belt then expect it to be 50% worse in other areas of the country.)

So I guess you could say I'm getting a little "taste" of what's to come upon us.

I called California and they have no problems there & the gas prices are .50c lower.

Anyone else w/fuel issues?

yay grany, so glad your headache is gone. Halleluliah!

I just looked on that site you like so much, Fruchtenbaum Ariel Ministries site, and he also sees the rapture of the church as being fulfilled on Rosh Hashana...under the Feasts of Israel fruit section:

" The Messianic Significance of the Feast of Trumpets

The Feast of Trumpets is prophetic in regard to two important, messianic elements. First, the eventual regathering of Israel (before the Great Tribulation) is signified by the blowing of a trumpet in Isaiah 27:13. The festival’s second and ultimate fulfillment – again involving the trumpet – will occur with the Rapture of the Church. Described in two main passages, I Thessalonians 4:13-18 and I Corinthians 15:15-58, the events of the Rapture are the resurrection of the dead saints and the rapturing or catching up of the living saints, each connected with the blowing of the trumpet."

good post at 6:40 Jim!

Lisa, we do not have any fuel problems here in the northeast...other than the fact that its still very expensive. It has gone down about in the last few weeks too.

One of the grocery stores here is working with sunoco to give customers a break on their gas with points earned thru buying groceries. Tomorrow I will take advantage of it and get 50 cents off per gallon up to 20 gallons.

Whoop-de-doo! :)

Lori, twinkle toes, bless your heart! Not a pleasant experience at your job site today and I do know how you felt. You have to keep in your heart that God has moved on your behalf regarding your job situation and your boss that wouldn't address his real responsibilities will have to face them now. You did try to help him and now his actions will greatly affect his future with the company. Maybe he will pursue the musical world but he will have to grow in realization to attend important matters first. It isn't your fault and you did try to help him in the right manner. Take counsel in that.

I then read your prayer and now I know why I got up without the pain. Thank you with all of my being! Because Jesus told us that we would do all that he had done and even than he did. Why, because Jesus is sitting at the right hand of God forever interceding for us and empowering us through our prayers and supplications. I also thank God that he lead you in praying and just reading it got rid of the little nagging ache that stayed around to check us out.

THANK YOU WITH ALL OF MY HEART LORD BECAUSE YOU HAVE MADE ME WHOLE!

JIM C. Thank you too! You gave me cause to chuckle at your little story about the bird! And that beef with Satan? Well, that beef with Satan up and dumped a load of bullocks on him and now he knows what is like to be dumped on! LOL
No one deserves it more than Satan! You are precious and I appreciate your prayers too.

Donna and Alesia,

Thank you for your prayers too. I know it is the prayers of the saints that deliver us from the afflictions of the enemy. To me, it is especially precious because you all did prayer and expected and because you did that, without a selfish thought in your heart or mind, God supplied.

Hallelujah! Glory to God and may his praises be shouted from the mountain tops.

Well, Glory!

Donna - my grocery store is doing the same thing with gas and today I got $1.00 per gallon off...saved me over $20 on a full tank. Prices were about $3.40ish when Ike hit and didn't rise as in other areas (I'm in eastern PA).

I found these 2 disturbing articles at WND tonight, but then felt a nudge to turn to my Bible. It fell open to Psalm 94. Seems entirely appropriate considering all that's taking place around us these days.

1 O LORD, the God who avenges,
O God who avenges, shine forth.
2 Rise up, O Judge of the earth;
pay back to the proud what they deserve.
3 How long will the wicked, O LORD, how long will the wicked be jubilant?
4 They pour out arrogant words;
all the evildoers are full of boasting.
5 They crush your people, O LORD;
they oppress your inheritance.
6 They slay the widow and the alien; they murder the fatherless.
7 They say, "The LORD does not see; the God of Jacob pays no heed."
8 Take heed, you senseless ones among the people; you fools, when will you become wise?
9 Does he who implanted the ear not hear?
Does he who formed the eye not see?
10 Does he who disciplines nations not punish? Does he who teaches man lack knowledge?
11 The LORD knows the thoughts of man; he knows that they are futile.
12 Blessed is the man you discipline, O LORD, the man you teach from your law;
13 you grant him relief from days of trouble, till a pit is dug for the wicked.
14 For the LORD will not reject his people; he will never forsake his inheritance.
15 Judgment will again be founded on righteousness, and all the upright in heart will follow it.
16 Who will rise up for me against the wicked? Who will take a stand for me against evildoers?
17 Unless the LORD had given me help, I would soon have dwelt in the silence of death.
18 When I said, "My foot is slipping," your love, O LORD, supported me.
19 When anxiety was great within me, your consolation brought joy to my soul.
20 Can a corrupt throne be allied with you— one that brings on misery by its decrees?
21 They band together against the righteous and condemn the innocent to death.
22 But the LORD has become my fortress, and my God the rock in whom I take refuge.
23 He will repay them for their sins and destroy them for their wickedness; the LORD our God will destroy them.

Eyes peeled upward,
Jen

Jen, thanks for that Psalms and you know, it doesn't get posted very much. When the psalmist says it, it means so very much more and not even the liberal can deny that God is a righteous God and who is above Him? None! The doctors want to take the baby (Kaitlynn) 2 weeks earlier than planned because of concern with the encephelitis.(sp)

I sooooo covet your prayers for them. Jen is the mom. Susan is my dearest friend.

Lord willing I may be going up to Tacoma where they live to be with them on Monday.

These are the most precious people in the world and God has been moving mightily in their family.

Whenever I tell them of all of the people praying for Kaitlynn and all they are so humbly grateful.

Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ,

I had planned to try to get back last night, but God had other plans for me.

My friend called me yesterday and said that I had lots of mail here and some had expressed a desire for me to keep posting.

I tell you that really warmed my heart but............

to tell you the truth, I am not a blogger and I don't feel that this is how God wants me spend my time.

And I think I am much too conservative and fundamental in my beliefs and walk that I really wouldn't fit well here.

But my wife has put this blog in our favorites, and one of these days if our LORD tarries, I might just poke my head in again.

I took a look at Mac and Alesia's blog spots and I was just thrilled with what I saw there and I'm sure that some others probably have some wonderful teachings on theirs too. When time permits, I plan to look around a little more.

So, if I don't see you before, I'll look for you in My Father's house.

I pray the richest blessings on all of you and pray that whatever you do is done for the Glory of our Father in Heaven.

Remember to keep the main thing the main thing. Only what's done for Christ will last for eternity.

In Christ Alone,
A Faithful Servant

You don't have to go crazy checking everyone or even anyone's site.

I think you will find a variety of people here...we definitely do NOT all think alike or anything like that.

We could use someone grounded in scripture.

So as Grany said, please pray about it.
