Hebrews 11:13, 16

"Not having received the promises but having seen them afar off [they] were assured of them, embraced them and confessed that they were strangers and pilgrims on the earth. ...

"They desire a better, that is, a heavenly country. Therefore God is not ashamed to be called their God, for He has prepared a city for them."

Rev 1:7-8

1Jn 3:2 Beloved, now we are children of God, and it has not appeared as yet what we will be. We know that when He appears, we will be like Him, because we will see Him just as He is.
