Rev 1:7-8

7 Behold, He is coming with clouds, and every eye will see Him, even they who pierced Him. And all the tribes of the earth will mourn because of Him. Even so, Amen.

8 "I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End," says the Lord, "who is and who was and who is to come, the Almighty."

Praising the Lord for the work that my hubby got for the week!!! Also... that when my car decided not to start it was in my own driveway and not somewhere that I would freeze in our 10 degree temps! Also...that my dear sweet sister and her hubby offered us some money to tide us over and get the car worked on. Also...that I got an interview at the store that I worked at two years ago but I desperately want to work at again cause I loved it (although th interview was today and I had to reschedule for tomorrow due to bad car). Also...that all of the bad symptoms I was suffering with a few months ago are TOTALLY gone. Also...that my 3 hour glucose test for gestational diabetes came back fine...I could go on and on

Praise the Lord :)

In the name of Jesus Christ, I ask your everlasting protection for all of us gathered in the Name of Jesus. The physical, mental and spiritual battles are beginning to heat up but when the enemy comes in like a flood, you said you would lift up a standard against Him. We need your protection and your swift response to all the fiery darts of the enemy. Our children, our parents and our mates need your guidance and protection also.
I ask you in the name of Jesus to bring healing that cannot be broken again to Trevor and JIB and to all those who take your message of peace and salvation.

Jan Markell heart attack...

Hello all!

We've had a slight and temporary setback and desperately need your prayers! Jan was taken to the hospital VERY early this morning (Wednesday) and was diagnosed as having had a heart attack.

She's fine now and is resting. I just spoke with a friend of ours who is a doctor. She and her sister were in earlier today to visit Jan and it sounds like Jan was doing very well. It sounds quite possible that she will be released and come back home tomorrow.

Olive Tree Ministries has undergone a tremendous amount of what can only be assumed is spiritual warfare. This is just the very latest. We appreciate so much your partnership in this ministry through prayer. WHATEVER YOU DO -- DON'T STOP PRAYING!!!!!!

Blessings to all of you!

I'm here, Grany, practicing my lurking skills. Still looking for work and having faith (or at least practicing having faith) that I'll be able to pay my January rent.

I'm feeling bummed by the weather this weekend. Today was the last day of nice weather we'll be seeing in Iowa until spring sometime. The temperature reached 37 today -- it smelled like spring -- and it's going to reach a high of 5 (that's right -- 5) on Sunday. There's a blizzard watch that starts Sat. night until Sunday afternoon, with 2 to 5 inches of snow expected.

What it means is that first thing tomorrow I'll have to winterize my scooter -- make sure the oil is filled, put Sta-Bil in the gas tank, take out the battery, and cover with a tarp. It means I'll be trapped in my apartment until Spring. I won't be going to church except on Christmas Eve, because the buses don't run on Sunday. I MAY be able to go to Saturday evening services, but it would be a $1.50 round trip, I'll have to leave at 3, and won't get home until around 7, so I think the early Christmas Eve service will be it.

On the plus side, if I keep to my walking schedule, I'll be burning more calories fighting through the snowbanks and trying to keep warm. On the minus side, it will make it that much harder to keep from whipping up a batch of 5-minute fudge. [sigh]

Prayer Warriors: Would you lift up my Online Missionary contact by the name of "Leo" in prayer?

Thanks!

LISA, Praying for Leo and you too. Spiritual warfare is nothing to fool around with unless you are sure the Holy Spirit is in control and you are supposed to.

JIM C., you are not a prisoner in your apartment until Spring! Repeat that at least 150 times. Now, as to the scooter, is there a storage nearby that the landlord will allow you to give refuge to your scooter. Poor little thing! By the way, you could go outside and in the name of Jesus Christ ask God to lift that debilitating weather so you can scurry around to find gainful employment.

I cannot imagine why it is taking so long for the promised job to materialize. However,I am and will still be praying. I will also be praying for your weather pattern to change for the blessing of warmer than forecast temps and no snow.

When the snow does come, and you know it will if you live in Iowa, start looking for the beauty of it and get that song back in your heart my dear friend.

Everyone, keep safe, warm and listening for that shout. He's coming SUDDENLY!

I just have to share this one with all of you:

Cowboy Poetry

Jake, the rancher, went one day
To fix a distant fence.
The wind was cold and gusty
And the clouds rolled gray and dense.

As he pounded the last staples in
And gathered tools to go,
The temperature had fallen,
And snow began to blow.

When he finally reached his pickup,
He felt a heavy heart.
From the sound of that ignition
He knew it wouldn't start.

So Jake did what most of us
Would do if we were there.
He humbly bowed his balding head
And sent aloft a prayer.

As he turned the key the last time,
He softly cursed his luck
They found him three days later,
Frozen stiff in that old truck.

Now Jake had been around in life
And done his share of roaming.
But when he saw Heaven, he was shocked --
It looked just like Wyoming !

Of all the saints in Heaven,
His favorite was St. Peter .
So they sat and talked a minute or two,
Or maybe it was three.
Nobody was keeping' score --
In Heaven, time is free.

'I've always heard,' Jake said to Pete ,
'that God will answer prayers,
But the one time I asked for help,
Well, he just wasn't there.'

'Does God answer prayers of some,
And ignore the prayers of others?
That don't seem exactly square --
I know all men are brothers.'

'Or does he randomly reply,
Without good rhyme or reason?
Maybe, it's the time of day,
The weather or the season.'

'Now I ain't trying to act smart,
It's just the way I feel.
And I was wondering', could you tell me
What the heck's the deal?!'

Peter listened very patiently
And when Jake was done,
There were smiles of recognition,
And he said, 'So, you're the one!!'

That day your truck, it wouldn't start,
And you sent your prayer a flying,
You gave us all a real bad time,
With hundreds of us trying.'

'A thousand angels rushed,
To check the status of your file,
But you know, Jake , we hadn't heard
From you in quite a while.'

'And though all prayers are answered,
And God ain't got no quota,
He didn't recognize your voice,
And started a truck in Minnesota '!

IT'S BEST TO KEEP I N TOUCH...

jim.carroll said...

Grany, thanks for the support and the prayers. I got the scooter winterized, but I couldn't find the block I was going to use to lift the front tire off the ground, so I'll have to go out tomorrow to cobble something together and to get the tarp over it. Actually, I am pretty thankful, because we could have been getting this weather back in November. It's not the snow that's making me winterize it now; it's the fact that tomorrow's high is supposed to be 5. If we were going to be having temps between 25 and 30, I'd chance it, but at 5 I'm pretty sure the battery would freeze.

I think the job hasn't shown up yet because I haven't come yet to completely and totally trust in G_D yet. Rather, it's not that I don't trust G_D, I don't trust myself to act with faith when I'm teetering on the abyss and the ledge is crumbling beneath me. I don't trust myself to have the faith that G_D is asking of me, to be Job or to live in perfect love, casting out fear. I don't know if they DO pass the new unemployment insurance bill, if I'll be covered. I'm getting conflicting stories about that, and I'll need to call Workforce Development on Monday to get the straight story.

The Lord giveth, the Lord taketh away. Blessed be the Name of the Lord.

Thanks Grany! I gave Leo some spiritual warfare advice & then deferred him onto another if he wanted more in-depth help.

I've studied up on it but don't have much practical experience other than day to day usual lightweight stuff. My best defense is prayer for him & myself @ this point.

The real front line Christians are seasoned through their calling & practical experience but so far the Lord has not allowed any funny business (demonic manifestations)here. (I did see them as a child though so I know they're real.)

I'm am 100% certain if they were not withheld they would after me in a milli-second.

Praise God that I can continue on w/my Pollyanna outlook & childlike faith in the Lord and His Word w/o fear.

Great Grany 5 said...

Lisa, remember it was Jesus who said that unless we had the faith of a mustard seed and also, he recommended a child like faith for all of us. You know what I mean but let's take a little tour of what a child believes.

A child will look toward heaven and simply say, Father, take the sickness of my mother and bring healing to her body. Now that same child will expect God to do just that and isn't surprised when Momma suddenly feels wonderful. That same child will not hesitate to stretch their little hand toward the person that is so broken and lost, asking God to please fix them. Nor is that child afraid to ask her Heavenly Father to help her find her puppy.

The faith that they have is based on the deepest and simplest trust in someone they have never seen but know without any doubt that He is really there. They see the flower as a beautiful thing even when it is attached to the stem of a weed and think nothing of taking it to their mother to show their love and devotion.

So, my advice and something that I try very hard to form my relationship with the Lord. Keep it simple, but let it come from the very depth of my saved heart, mind and soul. Fresh Manna everyday and fresh anointing every day, every hour, and every minute.

Let your heart sing the praise of the Lord Lisa and keep it simple.

Must-See Video: DIGITAL NATIVITY STORY

This comes from the blog "American Papist"

I don’t often post jokes, but this one made me chuckle (pace our elder Jewish brothers):

A Jewish businessman in Chicago sent his son to Israel for a year …to absorb the culture.

When the son returned, he said, “Papa, I had a great time in Israel….and by the way, I converted to Christianity.”

“Oy vey,” said the father. “What have I done?” He took his problem to his best friend, Ike.

“Ike,” he said, “I sent my son to Israel , and he came home a Christian. What can I do?”

“Funny you should ask,” said Ike. “I too, sent my son to Israel, and he also came home a Christian. Perhaps we should go see the rabbi.”

So they did, and they explained their problem to the rabbi.

“Funny you should ask,” said the rabbi. “I, too, sent my son to Israel , and he also came home a Christian. What is happening to our young people!?!”

And so they went to temple and all prayed, telling the Lord about their sons.

As they finished their prayer, a Voice came from the Heavens:

“Funny you should ask,” said the Voice…

“I, too, sent my Son to Israel… “

Great Grany 5 said...

JIM,
I like that one too. It kinda goes along with something I read today of Dr. Fruchtenbaum's. In his "Messianic Christology", he states that unless we can approach Jewish people with the Old Testament our efforts are not going to be fruitful. Everything they do is by the 3 groups of Law, Prophets and Writings. But in addressing the Jewish people, the Writings (Psalms, Proverbs, etc.) were not addressed. Instead it is the fulfillment of the Old Testament Prophecies and the Law that proves that Jesus is and was their Messiah.

I have really been giving that a lot of thought today and when you realize that the portion of the Bible that we call New Testament wasn't even written, of course it was the old testament. Also, the lineage of Mary was the true conduit that God used to produce Jesus and that was due to the fact that Mary's lineage was to King David, as was Joseph's, but in the Garden of Eden, it was Adam that sinned. He knew, first hand, what God had told him and commanded him NOT TO DO. Mary was deceived but Adam rebelled and ate of the fruit when he could have said NO, Eve, God said".

A living word for today's living and the good part of all this is, I have read this same book many times and yet today it soaked in. Yippppeeee! Hallelujah in cowgirl talk.

Grany

jim.carroll said...

Grany, not just Mary and Joseph's lineage to King David; Joseph's lineage came through the line that G_D cursed and said that no one from that line would sit on the throne of David. So it is through Mary that Jesus gets the authority to be called the Son of David.

Also, I keep going back to Jesus as the Lamb, being born in Bethlehem, which is where the lambs used for the sacrifices in the Temple were raised. The shepherds weren't keeping watch over the flocks because it was lambing time; they were doing it to keep their flocks from being rustled. And here, the Lamb of G_D was born, the perfect Lamb for the Sacrifice.

Message from Uncle Bob!

"I may not be a best selling author on the Times Best Sellers List, but I'm number one in the prisons.  :)
I know that sounds funny, but I was actually very blown away when a man in Florida who has given away over a hundred copies of Unlocking God's Secrets sent me an email."

Chuck, thanks for the new book, Musings. I had heard it was in print. I'm looking forward to reading it. The article from the Apopka news was the result of pastor Jim Neff of Operation Provision International Inc. He gave him Unlocking God's Secrets to read and as you can see it made quite an impression on him, (as it did all of us). They have put several copies in the library at the prison, and it is the most popular book taken out by inmates. Pastor Jim said there have been several reports of men who have had a change in their life because of it. The ministry of the book keeps moving on. Thank you for your generosity that has made it possible. God Bless, Dave

Great Grany 5 said...

JIM,
You got it right about Joseph's lineage, and the curse. I love the whole story of the birth of God's only son but I also know that all of the story hasn't been realized yet. There is always more to come when God is at the Helm.

On the occasions of visiting Bethlehem several years ago, I was really surprised to actually experience the reality of what could have been the nativity setting. Caves dot the whole area and complete families live in those caves with their livestock intact. The history of the whole area is being lost due to the fact that Bethlehem is inhabited mostly by Muslims but it isn't all negative. Some of those herdsmen are still the wanders of the desert (Bedouin) and their story is the most enlightening of them all. They too tell of the Christmas Child and how their history is included in it.

But the whole thing is so very simple. No matter who we are on earth, what our ancestors did or didn't do, Jesus was given to all. He started out just like everyone else of the human race and yet he never ceased being the Son of God and the Son of Man.

Now, that is what I call Amazing!

LORI,
Uncle Bob has a right to be excited about his book. Try giving the book to the hardest nut to crack (to bring to Salvation) and just lean back and pray for their eyes to be opened and their hunger to be increased. Uncle Bob knows how to lay it on the line.

Great Grany 5 said...

LISA, that is an excellent idea for the prison ministry. I coaxed our favorite Christian book store owner to order at least 15 of them and he was not to anxious to do so. So, we told him that five of them were ours. Paid for them in advance and when they came in, they were quickly grabbed up and more were being ordered. Now Bob (our CBSO) is going to get the new ones. The amazing thing about all of this is, the street ministry that provides meals and shelter for the indigent say this is a tremendous tool for evangelizing.

I have been tempted to send a copy of Uncle Bob's book to BOO HOO and see how fast it gets quoted. I wouldn't send it for that reason but I have such a burden for our president to really be acquainted with our Savior. Uncle Bob, as an attorney might just have the inroad to get past all of the other junk.

Anyway, still praying for the Damascus Road experience to come about quickly and suddenly for our Boo Hoo.

Hi..thinking of you all with the lunar eclipse coinciding with the first day of winter and with Christmas right around the corner.
We had a wonderful visitation at the local funeral home and memorial service at a community church in our town last weekend.
It all went very well and opened doors to communicate with others about God and Jesus and everything else. The whole thing really was an amazing experience and I find myself more thankful than anything else.
I hope you all have a wonderful CHRISTmas. You are all in my thoughts and prayers!!

Great Grany 5 said...

Donna, good news on your community church experience. Let's pray it will continue to be a blessing.

In just 4 days it will Christmas once again and although we don't know the exact future, we do know what God's word has to say about it. I hope everyone will take the time to really search the inner most parts of your heart and let the real love of God have first place in it. It all sounds so easy but in today's world, just like it was in Jesus' day, the world clamors to dominate our thoughts and time. Those thoughts and that time have a much better purpose than worrying or trying to figure everything out for ourselves.

I wonder what the next year will be like and what challenges are going to require a closer walk and communion with God just to get through. Until then

Thanks, Grany. The community church experience we had was in my parents home town (my childhood hometown) which is about 5 hrs from where I now live.

My parents lived 2 blocks away from from this beautiful community church for 45 yrs, but because our background was Italian, we went to the RCC about a mile away.

My (step) mother enjoyed the church experience and hopefully will go back. She has become a "medium" of sorts the last 10 yrs or so, which obviously is very concerning!

So...last nights lunar eclipse turned out to be a "blood red moon"! Cool!

Great Grany 5 said...

Donna, I will be praying for your Step Mother's salvation. God does move in mysterious ways for sure.

Seems like Christmas isn't right around the corner here in Okieland. No snow, the temps are really very nice, 50 right now and the sun is shining bright. No coats, no boots, no snow, and no christmas Tree lights. But I would gladly trade all of this modern day living for a real manger, a few lowing cows, a couple of sheep and throw in 3 shepherds to guard them all. A little puppy would be welcome to but most of all, please let there be the very meaning and purpose of Christmas, Jesus! I know he wouldn't fit in the manger but he could tell us a few things unknown before about the real miracle all of those centuries ago.

Merry Christmas everyone and make it last.

I'm posting this here for your discernment:

Divine Mercy bracketed by two solstice eclipses?

A little background here: "Divine Mercy" refers to a devotion that's been gaining popularity in the past couple of decades: The Chaplet of Divine Mercy. It uses rosary beads to count the prayers (although that's not necessary). On the large (Our Father) beads you pray "Eternal Father, I offer you the Body and Blood, Soul and Divinity, of your dearly beloved Son, Our Lord Jesus Christ." On the next 10 smaller beads you pray "For the sake of His Sorrowful Passion, have mercy on us and on the whole world." Repeat this set of prayers 5 times, and at the end pray 3 times "Holy God, Holy Mighty One, Holy Immortal One, have mercy on us and on the whole world."

This devotion comes from a series of visions of Jesus purportedly received by a nun in Poland in the early 1930s. (I say "purportedly" because the visions and the messages have been judged "worthy of belief", but one is not required to believe them.)

In the visions, Jesus talks about a time of Mercy, when the Holy Spirit will come upon the earth and people must choose whether or not to accept the Divine Mercy being offered to them. It embodies the idea of Jesus as the bringer of Divine Mercy, where He comes to us "...not as the just Judge but as the Merciful Savior..."

To promote the devotion to Divine Mercy, the Church declared the year 2000 as the Year of Divine Mercy. As the writer of the web page points out, just before this declaration in 2000 there was a long solar eclipse on the solstice over Africa. Now, 10 years later, we've had a long lunar eclipse at the solstice over America, with some symbolism involving Christian astrology (which is not geared towards predicting the future but interpreting the present events.)

As I say, for your discernment.

Wow.

This article brings together several areas of research I'd read before, but never before seen all brought together. It uses research from both J.R. Church and C.I. Scofield to show that:

Christ's Claim to David's Throne Required a Unique Combination of Circumstance Planned From The Beginning

In Summary, Christ has no legal claim to David's throne except through His mother. Mary had to be the only Child of St Anne and St Joachim (Heli) for this to occur. St. Joachin was tribe of Judah and St. Anne of the tribe of Levi. Since Mary was a virgin with no siblings and had only one son, her royal bloodline died out after Christ, the summit of perfection, was born. This redeeming blood was royal as it was immaculate. This makes for a redemptive plan replete with fascinating details described below.

Merry Christmas, all!

Luke 2
1And it came to pass in those days, that there went out a decree from Caesar Augustus that all the world should be taxed.

3And all went to be taxed, every one into his own city.

4And Joseph also went up from Galilee, out of the city of Nazareth, into Judaea, unto the city of David, which is called Bethlehem; (because he was of the house and lineage of David:)

5To be taxed with Mary his espoused wife, being great with child.

6And so it was, that, while they were there, the days were accomplished that she should be delivered.

7And she brought forth her firstborn son, and wrapped him in swaddling clothes, and laid him in a manger; because there was no room for them in the inn.

8And there were in the same country shepherds abiding in the field, keeping watch over their flock by night.

9And, lo, the angel of the Lord came upon them, and the glory of the Lord shone round about them: and they were sore afraid.

10And the angel said unto them, Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people.

11For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord.

12And this shall be a sign unto you; Ye shall find the babe wrapped in swaddling clothes, lying in a manger.

13And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God, and saying,

14Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men.

Jim G. said...

15And it came to pass, as the angels were gone away from them into heaven, the shepherds said one to another, Let us now go even unto Bethlehem, and see this thing which is come to pass, which the Lord hath made known unto us.

16And they came with haste, and found Mary, and Joseph, and the babe lying in a manger.

17And when they had seen it, they made known abroad the saying which was told them concerning this child.

18And all they that heard it wondered at those things which were told them by the shepherds.

19But Mary kept all these things, and pondered them in her heart.

20And the shepherds returned, glorifying and praising God for all the things that they had heard and seen, as it was told unto them.

21And when eight days were accomplished for the circumcising of the child, his name was called JESUS, which was so named of the angel before he was conceived in the womb.

22And when the days of her purification according to the law of Moses were accomplished, they brought him to Jerusalem, to present him to the Lord;

23(As it is written in the law of the LORD, Every male that openeth the womb shall be called holy to the Lord;)

24And to offer a sacrifice according to that which is said in the law of the Lord, A pair of turtledoves, or two young pigeons.

25And, behold, there was a man in Jerusalem, whose name was Simeon; and the same man was just and devout, waiting for the consolation of Israel: and the Holy Ghost was upon him.

26And it was revealed unto him by the Holy Ghost, that he should not see death, before he had seen the Lord's Christ.

27And he came by the Spirit into the temple: and when the parents brought in the child Jesus, to do for him after the custom of the law,

28Then took he him up in his arms, and blessed God, and said,

29Lord, now lettest thou thy servant depart in peace, according to thy word:

30For mine eyes have seen thy salvation,

31Which thou hast prepared before the face of all people;

32A light to lighten the Gentiles, and the glory of thy people Israel.

33And Joseph and his mother marvelled at those things which were spoken of him.

34And Simeon blessed them, and said unto Mary his mother, Behold, this child is set for the fall and rising again of many in Israel; and for a sign which shall be spoken against;

35(Yea, a sword shall pierce through thy own soul also,) that the thoughts of many hearts may be revealed.

36And there was one Anna, a prophetess, the daughter of Phanuel, of the tribe of Aser: she was of a great age, and had lived with an husband seven years from her virginity;

37And she was a widow of about fourscore and four years, which departed not from the temple, but served God with fastings and prayers night and day.

38And she coming in that instant gave thanks likewise unto the Lord, and spake of him to all them that looked for redemption in Jerusalem.

39And when they had performed all things according to the law of the Lord, they returned into Galilee, to their own city Nazareth.

40And the child grew, and waxed strong in spirit, filled with wisdom: and the grace of God was upon him.

"...Our thoughts turn back to a moment in history when God's chosen people, the children of Israel, were living in intense expectation.

They were waiting for the Messiah that God had promised to send, and they pictured him as a great leader who would rescue them from foreign domination and restore their freedom.

God is always faithful to his promises, but he often surprises us in the way he fulfils them.

The child that was born in Bethlehem did indeed bring liberation, but not only for the people of that time and place - he was to be the Saviour of all people throughout the world and throughout history.

And it was not a political liberation that he brought, achieved through military means: rather, Christ destroyed death for ever and restored life by means of his shameful death on the Cross.

And while he was born in poverty and obscurity, far from the centres of earthly power, he was none other than the Son of God.

Out of love for us he took upon himself our human condition, our fragility, our vulnerability, and he opened up for us the path that leads to the fullness of life, to a share in the life of God himself.

As we ponder this great mystery in our hearts this Christmas, let us give thanks to God for his goodness to us, and let us joyfully proclaim to those around us the good news that God offers us freedom from whatever weighs us down; he gives us hope, he brings us life..."

Now, witness the power of this fully armed and operational Star of Bethlehem!

(I know, I know, it's pretty geeky with the "Star Wars" reference, but maybe if I put a Star of David on the back of the shirt... Nah...)

A Greener Spirit: Evangelicals Embrace- Creation Care
....Perhaps the loudest evangelical voice on climate change is the Rev. Rich Cizik. Until December 2008, Cizik was the chief lobbyist for the National Association of Evangelicals – an organization made up of dozens of major conservative denominations. Today, he is the co-founder of the New Evangelical Partnership for the Common Good. "As a biblical Christian," he said in an April article on Grist.com, "I agree with St. Francis that every square inch on Earth belongs to Christ. If we don't pay attention to global climate change, it's pretty obvious that tens and or even hundreds of millions of people are going to die." (Oh,really? I wonder if he's read the book of Revelation?)

Cizik is not alone. The Evangelical Climate Initiative of 2006 was a major document affirming these principles, signed by 86 prominent evangelicals – including best-selling author Pastor Rick Warren, numerous other megachurch pastors, and 39 evangelical college presidents...

In regard to the Evangelicals who are way to busy trying to gain attention to the earth. What went through my mind as I read to the very end was really quite pointed: 'College of Fools'.
Now I normally don't think like that but when you realize that one of the major symptoms of this Age coming to a close is this passage in 2 Thess. 2: 7 For the mystery of iniquity doth already work only he who now letteth will let until he be taken out of the way 8 And then shall that Wicked be revealed whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming 9 Even him whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders 10 And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish because __ they received not the love of the truth that they might be saved 11 And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion that they should believe a lie 12 That they all might be damned who believed not the truth but had pleasure in unrighteousness."

To worship creation instead of the Creator can even be transferred to worshiping the messenger instead of the Message. How many ministries have been put on a "worship level" because they have a person who can speak/preach 'tickling words' but there isn't any of God's Anointing in their life? Their mission is to build bigger, fancier buildings and be socially acceptable but their ministry is not salvation minded. Just be nice, don't make noises and be a good giver.

If you will read Ez. 34 the outcome for these 'shepherds' is no different than the outcome for our present day baffoons.

I made up that last word.

I will not allow that kind of stupid activity ruin my wonderful Christmas here at home. To God be all of the Glory and His Name shall be exalted throughout creation.

Now as to New Years, we usually see it in around here about 3 hours after we go to bed. We don't really see it, it just happens. hehehehe

But I know what JIB is talking about. We used to have the New Years Watch Night at our church and we really did love the whole thing. The young ones still do but us oldies just find it very difficult to stay awake that long.

I think some of the area churches still do the same thing and I might sleep all day and then go attend one of the services with my old group of friends. But it is a wonderful way to celebrate off with the old and on to the new.

I have started practicing writing 2011 so I won't be doing the wrong year on my papers. Now if I can just find a way to know what day of the week it is without looking at the task bar on my computer.

"In March, the U.S. Geological Survey released its first assessment of the zone, estimating it contained 1.7 billion barrels of oil and 122 trillion cubic feet of gas. That's equal to half the proven gas reserves of the U.S."

"Iran, Israel's arch-nemesis and Hezbollah's chief backer, has also weighed in. Tehran's ambassador to Lebanon, Qazanfar Roknabadi, last month claimed that three-quarters of the Leviathan field actually belongs to Lebanon.

Mr. Landau, the Israeli infrastructure minister, denied the claim and warned Lebanon that Israel wouldn't hesitate to use force to protect its mineral rights."

Here is my "Eeore" New Year message. (The donkey from Winnie the Pooh.)

Or should we say Happy "Birth Pang" New Year-2011?

I can't really say "Happy New Year" as if it's going to be "business as usual" & we're all going to live on in a self-serving fog like existence. (If that's what's considered happy by today's standards.)

I'm happy the Kingdom of God is coming & we are Children of the King but at the same time I'm not too happy about the calamities befalling mankind. In no way am I upset w/ God because I accept that is the way He operates & all of His ways are righteous & just. I guess it's a combination of watching people suffer & knowing that basically very few actually turn to the Lord although there is joy in those who do.

The T.V. shows people w/their 2011 Glasses on & clinking their champagne glasses oblivious to the coming Wrath of God.

On one side we have the man made "Global Climate Change" proponents telling everyone it's our fault & we are the ones
responsible to "fix it". (There is no God and/or it is not involved w/human affairs & even Christians are buying into this.)

On the other we have Christians who know Bible Prophecy saying "God is trying to get your attention- listen up, read the scriptures & turn to Him!" (He Is involved & is speaking to you through natural calamities as He has in the past.)

The unbelievers are so stubborn that they don't even acknowledge that the seal judgments are the judgments of God until the 6th seal. By this time they have already experienced a World War, Worldwide Famine, Worldwide Pestilence, & 1/4 of the World population dying.

Finally, after the great Earthquake, sun/moon eclipse or blackout, meteor shower, islands & mts. moved, - Unreal MAJOR EARTH CHANGES- do people hide in caves & rocks & acknowledge God's wrath was involved.

I mean really- what does it take? They'll just keep explaining away climate change & natural catastrophes during 2011 & beyond.

And a little child will lead them...
Sometimes it really takes a child's story (or childlike story) to drive a message home to me! I was reading from a children's bible to my sons tonight. The stories were about David being annointed king, the psalm "the Lord is my shepard", David and Goliath, Namaan being healed, the prophecies of Jesus in Isaiah, his birth, death, resurection and his return. Then I read the last part of the book about John's visions of Jesus return and his coming kingdom on earth. Everyhting that I read tonight ot them just flowed so well together and reinforced each other. Really amazing! The book I read from is called "The Jesus Storybook Bible, Every story whispers his name" All of the stories make a point of telling about the coming of Jesus, all stories are wrapped up in the story of redemption. So neat!

Lisa, understand where you are coming from in that last post. I have felt lately that I have not prayed enough nor taught my children well enough and have asked for forgiveness for this. it is much easier to see this when one has teenagers. So many times I have spoken to them about Jesus coming back and the prophecies of the end times but now they just roll their eyes! Praying that the Lord gets ahold of them in a much deaper way this year as the years draw to a close!

Oh, my due date for baby number #5 changed to July 4th! Funny. Well, they never come on due dates anyway.

Hope you all had a blessed Christmas this year.

I tell you, it don't look good. It's like a line of disasters stretching west to east across the state. The biggest possible disaster of all is that there will be a great earthquake along that line and southern Arkansas will break off and slide into Louisiana.

Interesting headlines:

Lebanon urges UN to curb Israel offshore drilling

BEIRUT (AFP) – Lebanon's foreign minister on Tuesday asked the United Nations to curb Israel's offshore drilling plans, days after a US firm announced the discovery of a large field off the Jewish state's coastline.

"We request you do everything possible to ensure Israel does not exploit Lebanon's hydrocarbon resources, which fall within Lebanon's economic zone as delineated in the maps the foreign ministry submitted to the United Nations in 2010," Foreign Minister Ali Shami said in a letter addressed to UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon.

"Any exploitation by Israel of this resource is a flagrant violation of international law and an attack on Lebanese sovereignty," read the letter, which was carried by the state-run National News Agency.

US firm Noble Energy announced last week that the Leviathan gas field, offshore from Israel, holds an estimated 450 billion cubic metres (16 trillion cubic feet) of natural gas.

The discovery, which surpasses the Tamar field discovered off the northern port of Haifa, has positioned the Jewish state as an exporter, Noble Energy said.

News of the offshore fields, which surfaced in 2010, has increased tensions between the two neighbouring countries which do not have formal maritime borders and sparked an angry exchange of warnings between the two states.

Lebanon's Energy Minister Gebran Bassil has said his country plans to outline its maritime sea borders and auction off rights to explore potential offshore natural gas and petrol reserves in 2012.

Does anyone else get a creepy feeling when they see pictures of the President of Iran? Those little rat sized eyes just really freak me out. I read one of the articles by Lieberman, Israel's man, that said not to underestimate the Dinner Jacket's intelligence. He said that this man is very intelligent and plans every move he makes and every speech is very carefully prepared for just the right reaction. He went on to say that his intelligence was far greater than anyone is giving him credit for.

But the signs are all coming into order and I would like to say something serious about the birds in that area of Arkansas. I am very familiar with the Ozark area in Arkansas and red winged black birds are not that common. Not at this time of the year and the only time they are around is when they begin their northernly migration in the early spring.

What were they doing in that location and also, they are very hearty birds and it takes a lot to cause them to scatter. Their cousins, the Starlings
are easy to spook and quite the opposite in nature. Grackles are something else that isn't that common this time of the year.

How would a storm like a tornado affect them? Remember, there were some very severe storms in the area that evening. Look at Ft. Smith, Arkansas and then take a northeasterly slant up Interstate 40 and you will come into some of the roughest terrain in Arkansas. It is beautiful country and very rural. Lots and lots of hills, trees and streams. Some show on the maps and some don't. It is all kinda close to Clarksville, Arkansas and as many times as I have driven on those roads, you have to plan extra time because there are very few straight roads after you leave the interstate.

I still hold to the idea that something disoriented them and it could very well be weather associated. Like, what caused the tornadoes in Arkansas and southern Missouri this time of the year?

JIM you have any answers?

Grany, I did hear two guys from AR being interviewed on NPR this morning. One was from the state fisheries and wildlife agency and the other was from one of the universities. The interviewer first started with the fisheries guy asking about the fish kill, saying that when the interviewer first heard about it, he was thinking someone had been fishing with dynamite again. The fisheries guy laughed a bit, because with the location of the kill (between two locks on the river) that was his first thought too. But only one species of fish died. The other species in that area are doing fine.

As for the blackbirds, the tornadoes were a few days before, so they probably didn't have an effect on the birds. According to the university guy, it is possible for red-winged blackbirds to die of fright. So if they were startled, say, by some fireworks going off, it's possible that they launched together, started flying about madly, started colliding with each other, and started dying.

In the end we won't know much until the lab results come back for both the fish and the birds. The "fright" theory for the birds doesn't look likely, though, since we now have the dead birds in Louisiana, Tennessee, and even down in New Zealand.

You haven't heard about any of the rivers in AR turning to blood, have you? I mean, Cairo is just upriver in IL, and Memphis isn't that far off in TN...

JIM,
To early in the game for the blood in the river, but stay tuned. But clever thinking my friend.

I have been wondering the same thing about the possible relationship of the earthquakes to the birds and fish but now the reports are coming in that Arkansas, Louisiana, Tennessee and one other area wide state (cannot find the article again) have reported large number of birds dropping from the sky. How much of it is true is another thing to be investigated. But isn't it strange that it was both bird and fish in the same areas. as far as Arkanasas is concerned.

Now what is not being told is probably much scarier than what we know. But I can't help but wonder if this is related to a similar episode a year or so ago in one of our large flood control lakes. And again, it was bottom feeding fish that started floating to the top of the water.

Now they can tell you that fishing in the Arkansas river is alright and you can eat the fish but the newspaper in Ft. Smith regularly warns the people NOT TO CONSUME THE FISH CAUGHT in the Arkansas River. Ft. Smith sits right on that river. Google it and see where the river travels, then know that there are numerous poultry farms all over this area and they smell horrible to the place that I can hardly stand to eat chicken anymore. yuk!

Lisa, I am so sorry to hear about your mother breaking her hip and falling. She and all of you will be in our thoughts and prayers. It definitely is not easy seeing anyone we know and love having difficulties.

Mac and Alesia, How exciting! First meeting online through this group, marrying and now Mac lives in America! We hope you like it here, Mac! It sure is a big country! I hope all is ok with your family in Australia. The flooding there that is happening in Biblical proportions is mind boggeling, and something I have not heard too much about through the news, for some reason.

Grany... re: that murder- I googled it and there's lots of info out there about this. Defintely bizarre, although so far I have not heard much about it from conventional sources either.

I hope everyone else is doing ok out there!

Oil spills, gas finds in Israel, fish and birds dying, floods of biblical proportions, earthquakes..
not to mention things that are going on in the Middle East (which I need to get a better handle on).

It sure was quite a year!

DONNA,
So good hearing from you again. I agree there is so much taking place that it deprives me of sleep. Just kidding!

Anyway, as I was reading your closing comment about the past year really having things going on, the thought hit me 'wonder if next year at this time, 2010 will look like a easy year?'. You know the bible tells us that things will drastically speed up and I guess if you want to, it can be a negative thing. However, in that same passage, we are told that the reaper will overtake the sower and that is one of those promises that really excites me.

Just think, in relation to that promise, and this is the way I take it, the person sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ will actually see the seed (unsaved) immediately come to Christ. Now girl, that is a real hallelujah promise. I believe it will be coupled with the events taking place and also, the realization that something BIG is going down and also, the Holy Spirit is pouring it on.

I really don't think it will take long for the Gog/Magog battle to start from this point on. Go to Debka file and read about the UN denying Beirut their petition to establish sea boundaries immediately. When I read it, I could feel the hair on my whole body get very active. The rabbi that claims he met Yeshua in Israel at least went to his grave believing something. While reading the article I got the feeling that he had quite possibly met a convincing contender for Antichrist. But if what he said was true it would have scripture to back it up and the Bible tells us that he will be a man that Suddenly springs into attention.

Whether it be a dream, vision or just the result of something he ate, it does make us come to attention.

Do any of you get that strange tingling whenever the Jewish name appears in print or conversations? I have become so very alert to Yeshua's name that I feel like I am going to fly without wings right then and there.

Happy New Year, everyone!
Sure seems things have started off with a bang, with all the animal death reports and other big chess-board moves going on.
I have to say that the bird deaths cause such sadness for me. The redwing is my favorite wild bird. Growing up on the farm, we always looked for "Mr. Redwing" in the larch tree to signal that spring had arrived. Even today, my mom will call me here in Philly when she sees the first redwing arrive in the mountains back home. And doves are always around this areas as well. Hubby detests pigeons, since he grew up with them in the city. They're called "rats with wings" down there. But I love to watch doves at the feeder because they can't fit on the perches and have to depend on the seed that falls to the ground from the feeders. To me, they're gentle and humble and remind me of gleaners in the field, like Ruth was.

I'm not sure I buy the fireworks explanation either, but that's the story that's being put out for consumption and I'm sure those in the know are hoping we'll buy it and go home happy. I just tend to have a big slice of cynical thinking when it comes to these things. How much goes on that we never have a clue about? But on the other hand, I feel confident that if we need to know about it and we're resting in His provision and wisdom, then we'll be alerted at the proper time and the time of not-knowing won't do us any harm. God is a wonderful Daddy who loves us and promises not to give us scorpions when we ask for eggs. After all, He gave us Jesus before we were even a twinkle of a twinkle in someone's eye!

Have a great weekend and keep those eyes glancing upward...can't wait to see you all!

Blessings,
Jen

Great Grany 5 said...

I don't buy/subscribe into the fireworks theory either. NO WAY HOSEA.

In the first place, that area in Arkansas is very rural and no one in that vicinity is going to waste fireworks on New Years eve to the amount that it would take to kill 100,000 birds at one time. I can give you an illustration.

Riverwalk, San Antonio, TX. Back in the mid 80's they were plagued with an over abundance of starlings, black buids, etc. roosting in the trees that lined the river. The walkway was right on the river and in order to walk without being decorated with bird droppings (big time) you had to either carry an umbrella (which they sold right there) or put a sheet of plastic over you and yours. You sure didn't want to eat in the sidewalk cafes either. They tried everything, including fireworks and nothing scared them away. When the group of birds were frightened, they flew off but not in an disorderly fashion. It was more of a swoop.

So, Mr. Scientist, don't go trying to feed us bird droppings caused by fireworks. And quit drinking the coolaide at that dispenser the Feds put in for you.

donna said...

Yes, the fireworks theory is highly unlikely, since the bird deaths have been happenining elsewhere, including Sweden.

Happy New Year to you, too, Jen! And everyone else, too!

jim.carroll said...

Grany, I found these two articles on Discovery.com. The first disputes the claim that fright by itself can kill animals (it may exacerbate existing conditions, but doesn't cause death in and of itself); the second talks about the frequency of these bird kills:

Can Fright Kill Animals?

Birds Falling From the Sky Not Unusual
The only unusual part of the recent spate of bird (and fish) die-offs is that people witnessed them.

Now, it may be that the only unusual thing is that these die-offs are being witnessed; but it may be that G_D is drawing our attention to them for the first time as a warning.

I just watched an interview with a Harvard physicist on Fox about the bird kills, etc. and his reasoning was that these things happen all the time, but now with technology people can just record it more and get the images to the populace much faster, so it's an illusion that this is anything more than a usual event. Megan Kelly asked him if humans could expect to be next (my spirit responded "yes!") and kinda/sorta laughed it off, but you could hear a bit of worry in her voice.
as for flocks crashing into each other, I have to disagree from experience, too. Last fall, we pulled into the church parking lot and in the grassy area in front was an enormous flock of starlings. I mean thousands of them. I let Lauren run into the field after them, knowing she'd never get near them. In one elegant motion, they all took off, flew up into the air and re-landed a few hundred feet away and they did it several times while she chased them around. Not one bumped into another one, nor did they fly into the cars that were passing alongside them on the road. and that was at dusk with not very much visibility left. The birds that died in Arkansas looked like they'd been put in a blender and they were reported to have massive internal hemmoraging, The explanation doesn't jive for me.

Great Grany 5 said...

One thing among many other things that caught my attention. Megan Kelly rattled off the list of birds, fish, turtles, etc. that had died en mass and that was the telling tale that this great physicist doesn't know anymore about than we do. I have yet to see a flock of red winged blackbirds become confused or disoriented. As a young person growing up in Iowa, I used to love watching them dance in the sky from one location to another and they were one of my favorite photo ops.

By the way, those other species that Megan rattled off were from all over the world, at the same time! Do we really look that dumb? I don't think so but then I didn't graduate from Harvard with a PhD. (Piled higher and deeper).

jim.carroll said...

I just gotta jump in here with this, before I'm too tired to remember what I was thinking. There is ONE event that can cause birds to crash into one another, and that is a disturbance in the Earth's magnetic field. One little-noted but (possibly) important cause of such a disturbance is pre-quake changes in the earth's structure below the surface.

By the way LISA, you only forgot the quote sign (") at the end of your tag before you closed your link >. No big thing because it is easy to do and I have a habit of doing it.

But that video is something else. We know that in the very end times there will be a one world government and no matter how important these men think they are, they will go the same way as the Hitlers and other wanna be world leaders. This world was created by God, for God's glory and mere man will not triumph over it. The end will really be the end of their largess and when it is all over, then Jesus Christ will establish His millennial Kingdom on earth and put a permanent end to all of evil and it's author.

In the meantime, we are not to be fearful, anxious for nothing and most importantly, keeping our eyes on God's promises and provisions. Good place to insert Psalm 90 and 91

Second, here's a link to an article from the Hartford (CT) examiner that ties in with what I was saying yesterday about, even if these animal kills happen all the time, the fact that we're all noticing them now could be a sign in itself:

The webmaster over at "Spirit Digest" is also wondering if the attempted assassination is related to those lines from Hosea 4:1-3 I mentioned yesterday:

There is no faithfulness, no love, no acknowledgment of God in the land. There is only cursing, lying and murder, stealing and adultery; they break all bounds, and bloodshed follows bloodshed. Because of this the land mourns, and all who live in it waste away; the beasts of the field and the birds of the air and the fish of the sea are dying. (NIV)

Interesting question.

what bothers me most about the shootings is that even people who should know better are saying yes it is all the vitriol from political pundits. now one person is including both the left and right in his statement but you have to know, as is already evidenced by Gabby Gifford's dad's statement and prelim reports from the media that they are doing their darndest to tie this guy to the Tea Party when in point of fact he is a leftist through and through. While I agree we should own our words and words have power do we have to cease criticizing those in power when they are wrong just because some nutcase decides to act? I have never heard of Beck, Hannity, Limbaugh or any of the other conservative commentators every call for this kind of violence and yet Beck played several quotes from the leftists around POTUS that DO call for this kind of violence. Code Pink anyone? I see 1st amendment rights being curtailed in the name of peace and harmony and those who speak out against those in power.

one of the big evangelical prophecy teachers has gone on record that he doesn't think that Christians in America will suffer persecution because we will be raptured out of here before that time. I have to say I firmly disagree. I think he is being most naive.

Great Grany 5 said...

It isn't the Tea Partiers or for that matter, the Conservatives that taking part in the anarchy of this nation. It is the progressives and it is all part and particle of the Soros Agenda. This is the same thing that took place before Hitler rose to the Chancellorship of Germany and most definitely, it is the ground work that the Communist Party in Russia put into motion.

I don't believe we will raptured before the one world government is in place by any means and yes, we will have to go through that process but not the Tribulation. Remember that Jesus said "and then you will have Tribulation" but there were many, many things that happened that were very unpleasant before the big T happened.

To think otherwise is just sticking your head in the pillow and plugging in the ear buds so you can lull yourselves to sleep. We have to remain strong IN THE LORD and not in the Government. We have to know what God's Word is saying and we better, for sure, know what the Scriptures promises us. Don't kid yourselves into thinking it is our pretty words that we put in prayers that get answered. God's angels wait to fulfill God's Words and without them, you are just rattling on.

What did Jesus say about 'going through all of these things with you'? We are also told that history does and will repeat itself and I believe we are just beginning to see the evidence of that taking place today.

What's the answer? Trust in God, repent of sins we know in our inner man we have repeated over and over, and committing ourselves to do all we can do to stand and then STAND until there is no more time left. Be all that you can be in the Name of Jesus Christ and don't back down.

They are tramatized to the point of their mind splitting into multiple personalities. When the "code word" or "signal" is given - they perform whatever they were trained to do.

Anyway, he was talking about this Jared Loughner fellow today on his podcast. I didn't hear it but will be interested to get his view on him. It could have been mind control run amuck , a planned out mind-control scenario, or demonic possession.

Lisa, I remember a group of citizens that blocked the Kansas church out of their community when there was a similar situation taking place. It was done with the locals taking up all of the parking and access to the area. Not only that but the local police could have a tremendous input. Now what vitriol spewing is that church group demonstrating? Pure de hatred!

Not only that but the whole atmosphere that surrounds this earth has to bow to the Name of Jesus Christ and no air around my home or my family is going to be allowed.

"Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God:
But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men:
And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross.
Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name:
That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth;
And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father." Philippians 2:6-11

This is a Promise that is endless and powerful to overcome evil in it's worst attacks. How many times I have shouted, whispered and breathed that Name and immediately the situation changed. Completely and permanently.

I think the people of Kansas a missing the best means of correcting those people who call their selves "Christian"

I was thinking today about the "Baptist" group headed to the funerals and it occurred to me that there's no reason we can't lay hold of our position in Christ from afar to ask for a God-ordained diversion or delay to keep them from getting to those places...flat tires, gas tank mysteriously runs out of gas, a giant herd of buffalo decides to lie down for a rest in the middle of the road they're driving on. Better yet, imagine if they reached the funerals but could only utter praises to God when they opened their mouth, like Balaam's attempt to curse the Israelites was turned into blessings. Whatever. I'm sure God is much more creative than me! My point is that we can gather two or more in His name and make petition that their hate-driven intentions never reach the families who are mourning. I saw this kind of intervention happen a few years ago when the movie Golden Compass was being hyped and all the related books/games/mechandise aimed at kids were in book stores, etc. I joined with others to pray that the movie wouldn't get the hoped-for attention because the 2nd and 3rd books in the trilogy were also going to follow and their themes were even darker/more anti-God than the first. I was so thrilled when the movie didn't meet expectations at the box office and eventually the other 2 projects were put on hold indefinitely. I think we have a perfect group here for coming together against this wickedness in the mighty name of Jesus! Who's with me?!

Startling Revelations! What the Mainstream Media Isn't Saying About the Giffords' Shooting

(I looked at a video today on the shooter's Youtube site. Yeow!)

Cutting Edge review:

"A sinister shrine reveals a chilling occult dimension in the mind of the deranged gunman accused of shooting a member of Congress and 19 others. Hidden within a camouflage tent behind Jared Lee Loughner's home sits an alarming altar with a skull sitting atop a pot filled with shriveled oranges. A row of ceremonial candles and a bag of potting soil lay nearby, photos reveal."

Former Satanist, Doc Marquis, told us that this ritual scene is a Black Magick shrine designed to place a "killing spell" on an enemy. Such a spell is rare, but always carried out by a coven master witch with his coven members in attendance. As the witch precisely repeats the killing ritual word-for-word and properly uses each implement and each symbol in the exact right place within the ceremony, a demon will enter this dimension.

This demon will then be ordered by the coven master to kill a human enemy. The name and address of the enemy will be provided the demon and he will then be trusted to carry out the murder. Police departments are well aware of this phenomenon, calling it a "Psychic Murder". Such a crime cannot be solved because no human being carried it out. The enemy would have been killed by a supernatural being. When homicide detectives determine that a murder is a "Psychic Murder", they pack their investigative bags and close the case.

It looks as though Jared failed to properly place this killing ritual on Congresswoman Giffords, thus forcing him to directly carry out the deed himself. Unless evidence surfaces that Jared is a member of a coven, we can only believe that he tried to carry out this most difficult Black Magick ritual on his own. He is very fortunate that the spell did not rebound upon his own head following its failure.

creepy. do you have that link for the kuldani stuff from Strom (I think that is who it was a friend wants to see it)

so last week hubby and I had nearly identical dreams of white lights in and around the car, while driving which we took to be angels although both of us were quite scared. I remember seeing a white light figure in the back seat and Dennis' hovered outside the car and both of us remember praying. there was a male in the car with me-hubby I think. we'd be in good company since I can't recall any one in the Bible other than Jacob not being scared when confronted by an angel. may be Daniel but that is pretty much it. Even Mary was a bit nervous

I will say I think it was the night of the shooting. if we were processing the days events how odd that we would process them quite similarly.

Great Grany 5 said...

JIB,
I don't believe your processing the days events had anything to do with both of you having very similar dreams. I do know from past experiences that dreaming of "white lights" is directly related to heavenly beings. Or Angels. I do suggest that you both be very serious minded while driving. I mean it very sincerely when I say, I know from past experiences.

JEN, totally agree with you on Agreeing that God's Hand turn back the misguided, ill conceived members of the Kansas church. Whatever it takes to remove the hatred that they have allowed to enter into their life, and that Blessing flow from them instead. Blessings for good and not for evil.

May I remind everyone, including me, that Jesus said that evil cannot over come the believers if we will just trust him and listen to what the Holy Spirit is saying. If any of you believe that God doesn't talk to us, then we are among the first generation since Jesus Christ that has lost the communication. He might be that still small voice that nudges you not to do something, or he might be that certain scripture passage that you never quite caught onto. But mostly, he speaks when we stop babbling.
