Grant Me, O Lord

Grant me, O Lord, to know what I ought to know,to love what I ought to love, to praise what delights Thee most, to value what is precious in Thy sight, to hate what is offensive to Thee. Do not suffer me to judge according to the sight of my eyes, nor to pass sentence according to the hearing of the ears of ignorant men; but to discern with a true judgment between things visible and spiritual, and above all, always to inquire what is the good pleasure of Thy will.

Regarding Gabriel and his trumpet--

Now, it is my own observation--I've never heard this taught and I may be wrong--but what do you think of the idea that the last trumpet sound is actually Jesus' voice?

Read these scriptures below. Doesn't it sound like it could be actually Jesus' voice, sounding like a trumpet, calling His people from their graves?

We know that the Bible says God's voice sometimes sounded like thunder, so maybe Jesus' voice sometimes sounds like a trumpet.

1 Corinthians 15:52
In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.

Hebrews 12:19
And the sound of a trumpet, and the voice of words; which voice they that heard intreated that the word should not be spoken to them any more:

Revelation 1:10
I was in the Spirit on the Lord's day, and heard behind me a great voice, as of a trumpet,

Revelation 4:1
After this I looked, and, behold, a door was opened in heaven: and the first voice which I heard was as it were of a trumpet talking with me;

1 Thessalonians 4:16
For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:

What do you think?

What a great time to just jump in and say hi to you all! Been in the backgound and reading a bit here. Thanks to Alesia that I was able to find the "cave" again as I lost most of everything on my computer even my bookmarks. After going through some old emails in which was the only thing that I could find, I happened upon one from Alesia. Thanks again Alesia! I sometimes don't have much to say and never know when to jump in and figured today is just as good as any. It reminds me just how hard it was to jump in when I used to play jump rope as sometime you just never forget how to play all those girly games when you were raised with 5 sisters. Jec

7th. Not a bad number! Hello to everyone! I am quite anxious to see what or who fills the vaccuum in Iraq now that we are pulling out. I heard on Fox News yesterday the largest American Embassy in the world has been build there, right under our noses, with no press about it! largest American embassy OK, so why are we building our largest embassy in Bahgdad? There is obviously something big going on in Iraq. Since this is home to Babylon, we better keep our eyes open. My guess is, from what the Word says and the headline that Campsmore gave us about the EU extending their mission, it may well be the EU that takes over. We'll see!

I heard of that place about a year ago. Do you think this will be the HQ's of the anti-christ? Jec

Anne said...

Didn't one of Joel's books have that scenario? Babylon rebuilt to its former glory?

Anonymous said...

OK. I did some research and found some very interesting links. First of all, America is pulling combat troops out of Iraq. It will be interesting to see who or what fills the void. The first article I have is from Fox news and it is about the largest American Embassy in the world being built in Bahgdad. Why? largest American embassy
Second, most of us that have done any study of prophecy know that many Bible scholars believe that the EU is the revived Roman empire, or the toes of clay and iron on the feet of the beast of Daniel. They are extending their presence there until 2010. They are training them in law. This means that Iraq will follow the rule of law of the EU. EU declaration and finally the most important article of all, Babylon is being rebuilt and by, of all people, us!!!rebuilding Babylon We are putting up $700,000 for this project. I would imagine that, as the city is rebuilt and people begin to come into it, tourist corporations such as hotels and restaurants will follow looking to make money. This will revive Babylon! We are definitely in a countdown!

I bet if the "insiders" are investing in Iraq/Babylon-you bet they know of a plan to rebuild & hedge their $$$ on it-while our dollar sinks into the pit of despair.

Jib, D.H. is a civil litigator with a specialty in land & water use-pollution/rights/etc.. He's also worked on products liability cases & when he lived in LA-he did some entertainment law but none of that @ this point. (Bon Jovi was one of his clients.)

Right now he's working on some Fire Cases w/homeowners & insurance claims & a neighbor down the street fighting the city because they want to take part of his property to but a water pump station on it. Also, he's helping some young lady who was in a bar when someone thought it would be funny to put bleach/chemical in her shot glass which burned out her throat & damaged some of her organs.

He was hoping she would be a nice clean type girl but it's ended up that her past is somewhat checkered. (That makes it harder on him-so he's not thrilled about her character type.)

He's spending most of his time right now taking a bunch of depositions & then comes home upset when the witnesses end up being lame & is really fumed when his finds out that one of his clients have lied during the process.

I do not envy his job one iota. It's too much tension & turmoil for my personality & frankly he doesn't exactly handle it w/ease either. Something is always going wrong & he's just wound up tight most of the time.

Hi Jeff!
Good to "see" & hear from you. Hope all is well.
You are quite welcome, glad I could help.

Lisa - What? someone lying to a lawyer??? nooooooooo lol

Late Night Lisa said...

Alesia,

I know that sounds funny doesn't it? D.H. is very anti-lying & one of the things I always respected about him.

Taxes, paperwork, or anything many people would "fudge" on- he has always crossed his t's & dotted the i's. In part I think that he never wanted to have anything negative on his personal record for work reasons if someone were to attack his personal character.

So you can see how if he's working for a cient & putting his own reputation on the line in representing them how if they lie it makes D.H. look like a fool. The lie will always catch up with them in the end & what could have been a great outcome for the client turns into a mess for both D.H. & the client. The time & energy put in for the "chess moves" on the client's behalf end up backfiring because of the lie/lies.

He says some people attempt to take things into their own hands (because they think they are so superior in intelligence) & attempt to manipulate the outcome in the form of these lies. Not realizing how serious this is in the eyes of the court/law.

It is internet like everything else these days, so if you're bored out of your cotton pickin mind, you might check it out.

I bought a 4th of July t-shirt from the local Christian bookstore with the pledge of allegiance on it and they added Psalm 33:12 to the bottom...of the pledge
"Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord, the people he chose for his inheritance"

take that Pepsi!!

I plan on wearing it next school year when I teach the students the Pledge of Allegiance in sign language.

Hey Jim C.,

That video series "Fruitcake and Ice Cream" I mentioned last blog is by a pastor named Louie Giglio(SP?) who conducts Passion Conferences for college aged kids throughout the country. I wondered if your daughters have ever heard of it before? It sounded like a neat alternative to Campus Crusade. That is why if you watch it on YouTube you have to get through the first 2 parts-it's geared for college aged kids...I liked it though.....extrememly powerful at the end (parts4-6).
I recommend it for anyone who has colleged aged kids.....as an encouragment to witness or as a witness.

Have a good day and watch out for Pepsi.

Oh yeah what is up with NKorea? not looking good.

Homeward, thanks for posting that link about BOO's foreign policy. As a WW2 history geek, I particularly appreciated his comparison of BOO's Mideast Policy to General Montgomery's attempt to take the bridge at Arnhem.

To fully appreciate the irony in that comparison, you've got to either have read the book or seen the movie, "A Bridge Too Far". Monty's plan (AKA "Market Garden" -- "Market" was the air and paratrooper attacks; "Garden" was the ground assault) called for seizing six bridges in the Netherlands. One reason for this plan was to get access to the sea ports north of Antwerp. Relying on the temporary ports at Normandy was stretching the Allied supply lines too long.

The other reason was to gain control of the bridge at Arnhem, which would give them access over the Rhine into Germany. Understand that during WW1, Germany was never invaded. The German Empire collapsed without any foreign troops crossing the Rhine. The psychological value of being able to enter Germany was enormous, for as long as Germany itself remained whole, there was a chance that they could hold out until the Allies offered a peace treaty. Once that first Sherman tank hit the shores of the Fatherland, everyone knew that it was game end.

That's why Monty was so keen to get the bridge at Arnhem, becoming the first general to invade Germany since the time of the Caesars (and also to give Patton a black eye. Historians debate which was Monty's greater goal.) The Germans also knew this, which is why they reinforced the area with artillery and a few SS Panzer divisions. All of these defenses were visible on air reconnaissance photos and through reports from the Dutch underground.

Monty ignored them.

His plan was shoddy at best, and criminal at worst. There are some that say to this day that Monty should have been relieved of his command after Arnhem. For example, the Dutch War College had an exam which required the student to plan an attack on a certain Dutch city. You could either go on the highways built on the dikes, or take the much more difficult route through the bogs. The students who chose going over the dike highways immediately failed the test. All the defenders had to do was to destroy a few of the dikes and the attackers advance would be halted, leaving their soldiers dangerously exposed on top of these dikes, ready to be picked off.

Guess which route Monty chose.

It was called a success because 5 of the 6 bridges were captured and several new seaports were secured. This came at the cost of over 6,400 British, Polish, and American soldiers captured, with another 4,500 or so killed, with the main objective -- the bridge -- still in enemy hands.

Yeah. I think comparing BOO's foreign policy to Market Garden is spot on.

This is the same blight that caused the Irish Potato Famine:

Plant disease hits eastern US veggies early, hard

It seems those who bought their plants already sprouted from a store are the ones with the most to worry about. I don't think those who grew theirs from a seed (or maybe just those who didn't used GMO seed) won't have to worry as much, unless (of course) their neighbor's plants get it and the neighbor doesn't destroy his or her plants in time.

Maybe it's time to stock up on canned tomatoes...

This was posted at the OL. Thought it might be of interest...

Part one

Hello all. Thank you for thinking of me. It is a coincidence that I checked in to find this particular post tonight. What do I think about the presidential events?

Let me set this up for you. I am the chief executive of a financial services company that works within Wall Street. All around me are really smart people from Harvard, Wharton School, Northwestern, Oxford and Stanford. Many are from around the world; from China, Cuba and India. (I'm from Tennessee and not that smart but I am sure I am one of only a couple of Christians). Almost everyone voted for Obama, except me and one of my managers from East Texas.

As the office slowly cleared out today the stragglers had some "chat-time" around the water cooler this afternoon. As I packed up my briefcase, in my doorway stood Mark.

Mark is a fellow in our office from the south side of Detroit; a brilliant underwriter by profession but born a real blue collar guy. He still wears hushpuppies in an office of pick-stitched wool suits. He is famously pure democrat. Out of the blue Mark says, "Ed, I'm worried about the single-handed agenda of Obama. He's out-of-control." Then he said something really important, "Ed, it's almost like as soon as everyone voted for Obama they stopped paying attention. Everything is changing and no one is [expletive deleted] watching. This guy has gotten control of everything!" Now this is a guy whose job it is to wander around in regulatory rules and he is astounded to see what is happening before our very eyes. He is scared out of his wits.

That got me thinking. For most of the day we sit in groups of three or four executives around large tables where we watch projected screens on the walls around us. This close proximity allows us to work on opportunities that arise during the day with each executive having a particular specialty. It works well for us, but sometimes politics creeps into the workload. I cannot tell you how many times my Obamanation colleagues are unfamiliar with the details of what Obama is doing. They are very smart people, but are like frogs sitting in water being heated beneath them. They've stopped watching.

The Street is awash in losses, yet there are no sellers, only buyers. And, the biggest gorilla buyer is the U.S. Government aka Obamastan. This may seem odd to some but banks have lost so much money on their investments they do not want to sell, and thus lock in losses. So the government is moving in, using its' regulatory power to govern the markets. Metaphorically, it’s like border crossing stations being placed about at important cross points.

Don't believe one word of the media's view that the economy is turning around. Yes, things will improve for a short period later this year but will only be a temporary bounce before the lasting effect of Obama's policy hit the market. Today, 56% of all homes for sale in America are foreclosures; vacant and rotting from lack of care. Yesterday, a FannieMae insider told us to brace for a TRIPLING of the foreclosure rate starting immediately. Unemployment is rising fast and 18% of all home mortgages are now in default.

hyde said...

Part two

Here is only a few of the dangerous policies:

1. The new cap and trade energy bill requires the Department of Agriculture to provide monthly cash payments ("energy stamps") to reimburse low-income households for the estimated loss in their purchasing power resulting from energy taxes collected from utilities and other industrial users of energy (this means BIG job losses are coming). The bill establishes the "energy-stamps" program within the Food Stamp program (preparing the way for control of a large portion of the population). The energy stamps program would reach approximately 65 million individuals making it a larger program than TANF, food stamps, or even Medicaid. The bill provides that cash should be delivered by direct deposit into individual accounts, the State's electronic benefit transfer system, or another Federal or State mechanism approved by the HHS Secretary. The bill provides that the value of the cash refunds shall not be considered income or resources for purposes of Federal, State or local laws. Saving the planet by taxing everyone who produces anything will divert these tax revenues to the bottom 20% of the U.S. population -- in tax-free cash payments to their bank accounts.

2. Obama has limited compensation policies on Wall Street and started a mass exodus of talent that has traditionally managed the private capital markets. He is removing the management of the financial markets.

3. When the government health plan comes into effect the private insurers will not be able to compete with a publically supported health plan and 70% of us will switch our dependence onto the government. End of life care will be limited even if you can afford it.

hyde said...

Part three

4. Obama's administration crippled the Bond market issuers by requiring they maintain 5% of the risk on everything they sell, forever. Bonds create all big private money. The government prints the rest. Here's an example. Imagine if upon wanting to sell your home to Ed, Ed's lender said you had to put up 5% of the value of your house in cash for 30 years -- just in case ED defaults sometime in the next 30 years! Upon hearing this you would say, no thanks. I'll just keep my house because all you want to do is to sell it not be responsible for it if something happens to someone I sell it to long after I'm gone. This is evidence that Obama knows little about how markets work.

5. The Census will re-district the U.S. and lock-in minority, hispanic and traditionally democratic voters so that the democratic party will be hard to unseat. A.C.O.R.N., the militant minority group will ensure the numbers work out the "correct" way. If you do not submit to the Census you are breaking the law.

6. The government is the only significant purchaser of mortgages today. Most of the mortgages held in the U.S. will be held by the government with 24 months. Your home is the asset backing this loan.

7. The cap and trade bill also prohibits new drilling for oil offshore. It ignores nuclear power, the only viable industrial-strength option for clean electric. At the same time massive new taxes are placed on the utilities the cap and trade bill requires a wholesale shift to electric vehicles. Electric demand will skyrocket just as prices go through the roof. The new "smart grid" will require all homes and appliances be put on a network seen, and controllable by your utility. Using too much power? Presto, you're toaster will be taken offline. If the utilities fail, which is quite possible, the government will rescue them and there be in touch with your dishwasher. Applicance makers will face jail time if they do not convert all products by 2015 and are caught selling them.

Three "regional research and control" centers are to be appointed by the government to implement this policy. They must be minority-controlled organizations with one being female, one African-American and one Hispanic. Nothing is mentioned about whether these regional regulatory bodies will have some scientific or technical capability. Could A.C.O.R.N. be in mind to decide how our new energy party is designed and distributed?

8. The government is implementing the Clear Lanes security procedure at airports where you will have special access "priviledges" avoiding security checkpoints if you submit to a full background check with the Federal Government annually. Otherwise, you will be standing in line without your shoes, belt, briefcase, cell phone and other personal items while you are scanned and hustled through airport check centers. Friendly sounding, uniformed security agents acting as customer services advocates are soliciting you at major airports now. When I refused while passing through NYC last week several agents approached me wanting to know why. It made me nervous.

In summary, who is going to decide on the details of all this new regulation? Obama, that's who. That will make him the most important man in your living room.

All this while no one is watching.

Hizb ut-Tahrir Conference Update

Some have asked about the upcoming Hizb Ut-Tahrir Conference. Apparently the conference was cancelled. And now the very important e-mail was forwarded by the Walid Shoebat Foundation:

Friends

The event has been canceled that was mentioned in previous communication, however we believe the video is being used as a message to Muslims for a possible mega terror attack on US soil or US interests as the video says in Arabic “Good News coming soon for Islam” and on another web site the same person that posted the video states that July 5th will be a great day for Islam which was posted 5 days ago. The source of the posting lives in Australia which is a day ahead of us here in the USA, which strongly suggests that there will be a major attack on July 4. Hopefully the US security forces will find and eliminate the possible potential attack(s). We immediately reported our findings to the FBI and requested them to check using their sources the people that posted the video and their connections.

Jec,

Yeah-I got that email this morning from Shoebat.

My brain is getting worn out from all of this "wars & rumors or wars" info.

When I wake up in the AM it's as if I think to myself- oh good- We're blessed with another day of peace & it doesn't look like we've been hit w/a bomb yet.

Then I go see what's up in the news & there will be some Airline/Train crash-Father going nuts & killing his family-or death of some famous person.

Then on the side-somewhere in the world a natural disaster will be found. Sometimes you have to hunt for it but it will be there.

The background static is constant w/what Obama/Govt. is pulling behind everyone's backs on a daily basis & envisioning what our lives will be like in the near future.

Today you know Senator Palin resigned from her post. (She only had until Nov. to finish-why now?)

All I can say about it all right now is- Blah. I literally need to take some Tylenol.

Israeli Supreme Court declares Messianic bakery kosher
Following a lengthy legal battle, Israel's Supreme Court on Monday (June 29) ordered the Chief Orthodox Rabbinate to grant kashrut certification to an Ashdod bakery owned by a Messianic Jew, a decision likely to spark further confrontation between the nation's highest legal arbiter and the ultra-Orthodox community. In its verdict, the court ruled that the 51-year-old Yemenite baker's belief that Jesus was the Messiah did not make her baked goods unkosher. Furthermore, the court found that the Chief Rabbinate Council had exceeded the authority granted them by the Kashrut Law when they demanded that the bakery meet special conditions such as promising not to engage in missionary activity and turning the keys to the bakery over to a kashrut supervisor, condition s demanded solely because the owner is a Messianic Jew. The owner, Pnina Conforty, who became a believer while working in Ohio for an evangelical Christian family, enjoyed impressive business success after returning to Israel and opening the bakery in 2002. Conforty, however, quickly saw a sharp decline in sales after her faith was publicized in an article in a Messianic Jewish magazine. She suffered from demonstrations outside her bakery and posters with her picture distributed throughout the city warning that she was a missionary. "Finally I won. This is my baby," said Conforty after giving credit to the Ohio family that led her to Christ. "God arranged it that I arrived at a place where there were Christians who love Israel more than most Jews do. Their love and faith were so different from the religion I learned at home that was based on fear. I was never taught to serve God out of love until then."

Worthwhile interview of Michael Boldea. It's almost an hour long, but becomes especially interesting at about 34 minutes on. He briefly talks about one of his grandfather's (Dumitru Dudaman) prophecies and how he couldn't really see it happening until about 3 months ago. That prophecy had to do with civil war (if I remember right) in the US.

jim.carroll said...

Shalom, all! About 7 months ago I wrote about the possibility of schism in the Roman Catholic Church in America. This article Old Call to Action to break with Catholic Church marks what I think will be the first cracks that will be appearing.

Think of "Call to Action" as the Catholic Church in America's version of ACORN. It started in 1971 with Pope Paul VI issuing a "call to action" to all Christians to "renewal of the temporal order"; IOW, to actually act as Christians. The US bishops responded by organizing a "Call to Action" conference to take place in 1976 a part of the bicentennial. Before the conference, there was a lot of talk about things like eliminating racism; helping the poor find jobs, food, and housing; and what is the role of a Christian in a democracy. After the conference, though, the conference members voted to recommend that the Catholic Church should "reevaluate its positions on issues like celibacy for priests, the male-only clergy, homosexuality, birth control, and the involvement of every level of the church in important decisions."

Since then, they've been a thorn in the side of the Catholic Church in America, and at one point every member in one diocese was excommunicated.

The idea they're proposing for an autochthonous – that is, “native” – American Catholic Church, still in communion with Rome as the Maronites, the Ukrainian Uniate, and a number of other churches are, is not really a problem. The problem is that the groups recommending this are also recommending a total rejection of traditional Catholic teaching on sexuality and morality.

I see this as something that can only come to tears.

Please pray for dear husband today. I am taking him to ER because of the severe burns he suffered on his hand due to sparklers last night. I was up most of the night with him getting him more ice and water for him to keep his hand in. when he took it out of the water it felt like it was on fire. anyway, please pray for a quick healing.

Jim C.

Do you think that the Tony Blairs/Obamas who are suggesting to the Pope to "get w/the program" so to speak on these moral issues are somehow connected in bringing this schism to the forefront?

jim.carroll said...

Lisa, no, I don't think so. I think this is all due to the influence of the Evil One.

I remember reading once that the best, most powerful way the Evil One has to bring us down is to encourage us to be good Christians: You get asked to head the liturgy committee; the bake sale needs an extra pan of cookies; the music committee could use an extra set of hands. Of course you say yes to all of these because you want to be a good Christian, supporting your church. The problem is, before you know it, you've committed all your time to the church with your family getting the leftovers and scraps of your time. Even though you've given your all to your church, your holiness level goes down. And all because you're trying to be a good Christian.

Likewise, things like Call to Action started with the best intentions, to call Christians to live their faith. Unfortunately, it did so by choosing to cast off all the previous structure of the Church, and tried to create a Church based on man's views, i.e., we can create G_D's Church better than G_D can.

So, what started out as a means to revitalize Christians turned into something that now opposes any and all teachings that the Holy Spirit has lead us to over the past two thousand years.

Thank you so much for your prayers everyone. Doctor got everything taken care of and he also got a tetnus shot and antibiotics. He has some kind of burn cream that required a prescription and it is wrapped well. We will have to change the dressing twice a day. He is very relieved now. He was worried about missing work but he should be able to do some things just not alot (like grasping heavy things). I am sure that the Lord will heal it all up qickly. Steve has said "I am so sorry, that was so stupid" so many times, I feel so bad for him. He will not allow sparklers anywhere near his family again that is for sure!

Hope you all had a great day and holiday weekend!

You have me curious. How did he get injured with a sparkler (if you don't mind me asking)?

diana, glad everything went well at the doctors as our prayers were with your hubby. I remember once chipping away at the ice one cold morning at a construction site trying to clear away ice that was 2-3 inches thick. I also had a flame thrower that I using in my left hand and the chipper in my right. I then punctured a paint can that I did not see under the ice and before I knew it, I was up in flames and the only thing I knew to do was run! Of course some of the guys ran after me to put me out as I had no idea that I was on fire. Anyway, I had 3rd degree's on my arm and used silver sulfadide that campsmore mentioned and changed the bandages religiously twice a day, and did not have any scars at all! That stuff does wonders!

NEW BASKIN-ROBBINS ICE CREAM FLAVOR

In honor of the 44th President of the United States, Baskin-Robbins
Ice Cream has introduced a new flavor: "Barocky Road. "Barocky Road is a blend of half vanilla, half chocolate, and surrounded by nuts and flakes. The vanilla portion of the mix is not openly advertised and usually denied as an ingredient. The nuts and flakes are all very bitter and hard to swallow. The cost is $100.00 per scoop. When purchased it will be presented to you in a large beautiful cone, but then the ice cream is taken away and given to the person in line behind you who didn't have the money to buy ice cream. You are left with an empty wallet and no change, holding an empty cone with no hope of getting any ice cream.

So funny, the new ice cream flavors at Baskin Robins! I don't mind you asking about DH burnung himself with sparklers. He had a handful of them and tried to light them all at once with his lighter. I was not at the scene so I do not know exactly what he did but he thinks that they were way too close to his hand and it was stupid to light them all at once. Of course, there was beer involved too. He swears he will stop drinking. I did not think that he was drunk but I think he may have had some impaired judgement there.

Hey Lisa, interesting info on crop circles. Look up spaceweather.com has info from NASA. Sure enough, good info on new solar cycle sun spot 1024, but only B class. It apparently takes an X class flare to affect radio and such here. I do remember reading about a BIG one thathit us here in the late 1860's and knocked out all telegraph use for weeks. Could be kind of like the EMP burst nuc we've discussed before.

Good thing we know who's in control, and it ain't the crop circle making crews.

Interesting site for circlemakers, including a page for beginners!

I found this while looking for something else. About 10-12 years ago I saw a documentary or news clip about how to make crop circles. Amazingly, these guys were able to get into a field, make the circles and get out in a few hours without leaving their own tracks. I just found this site and need to go back to read it, but the first page has what looks to be a complicated plan for a circle.

Anne said...

OK, here's a taste (I promise I won't post the whole site!). After commenting about bad reporting on the jellyfish crop circle by the BBC and some info about the cost of lost crops:

In The Guardian, John Vidal makes another howler in his guide to crop circle making he says of the 'stalk stomper' board used to flatten crop "The board should have ropes attached to each end so you can loop it over your neck.". Really?! We find it's usually easier to just hold the rope in our hand's John. You should know that, seeing as you once joined us in the fields to create a crop circle, although admittedly you did fall asleep for most of it, then when you woke up and joined in you actually managed to flatten the wrong bit of crop... but we forgive you.

Late Night Lisa said...

I've read about the pseudo crop circle makers before.

However; after looking at all of the intricate patterns & designs-I don't think there is anyway possible that the majority of them are humanly designed.

They are really quite something & I'm sure it's only natural that people would try to duplicate the process & see if they can fool ya.

I could imagine some guy sitting at a drafting table & drawing up "designs" to be fostered upon the public. He trains & hires these people to sneak out into the wee hours to implement the crop circle designs. They perform their duties without a hitch or trace of their presence.

If this is the case then the designer is definitely a genius-not to mention his crew. This person should be a multi-billionaire.

For that matter-I sure wish we could have a manual available
so we would know what in the world they convey.

Another blogger mentioned that she thinks they are not so much about solar flares but about solar eclipses & the coming of the Anti-Christ.

Scott,

See, I didn't even know about "classes" of sun spots-boy I'm learning new things daily. Looking at Solar/Planet activity is new to me but sure interesting.

Anne said...

IN THIS ECONOMIC MELTDOWN, WHERE IS STEVE FORBES?

Anne said...

You are right, Lisa, that the patterns are very intricate and it seems implausible that people can get this accomplished in a night without notice. By posting this link I was not implying that there is no possibility of a supernatural explanation. Just interesting info.

Late Night Lisa said...

Anne,

When I was looking into people who made crop circles but what I didn't find were any good pictures.

I guess what I was looking for is to see if people could really duplicate some of these "out of this world" designs in a night.

I read alot of Yada Yada we can do it & this is all a farce but where is the detailed proof of this? If they can do it-great but I want the goods! Why shroud their artistic talents in mystery? The pictures I saw posted were of really simple ones.

What if down the road something shows up & says they are been trying to warn us of impending doom all along by these pictures? And-it's at that point the actual meanings are revealed.

These crop circle pictures are just totally bizarre to me. What type of mind could think of designs like this? I guess most people don't think a whole lot about it & just ignore it.

jim.carroll said...

Lisa, you're over-thinking it. Don't think "billionaire with too much time on his hands"; think "college kids with too much time and beer on their hands." In this scenario, you have a bunch of sophomores and juniors sitting around the keg about 1:15 AM Saturday morning: an art and industrial design major, someone who's major is undecided but has taken a bunch of drafting courses; 4 or 5 engineering types, and a business major who's there because he's hitting on the art major. The art and the drafting people can put together a design in a jiffy because they'll adapt stuff they've done in their classes; the engineering types will work out the ways to flatten the plants without leaving directionality or (if they feel the need to prove their geekdom) they'll figure out how to leave trace amounts of radiation behind without making themselves sterile (hopefully). The business major will have the most important role: he'll be the designated driver.

If you think I'm just making fun, do you recall the Monolith that appeared in Magnuson Park in Seattle on Jan. 1, 2001, and then mysteriously disappeared two days later?

Anne, I listened to the Boldela interview-you're right it was excellent.

So he believes we are not looking toward the end times-we are in the end times & most Christians don't want to face it. Not only that but America is being judged by God right now & we can expect the four pillars of Judgment to occur next.
Famine,War,Pestilence & Wild Beasts.

Then the Interviewer had the dream of the Statue of Liberties head falling off then the same dream another night but that God's hand came out of the clouds & actually lopped it off.

Which means- our freedoms will be taken away. I can't disagree we are not witnessing that happening right before our very eyes.

I got this emailed to me today:

Subject: H.R. 1388 was passed Date: Fri, 3 Jul 2009 07:45:52 -0700

Look at what our illustrious president pulled off in stealth and secrecy. Just think will/may happen in the next 3.5 years H.R. 1388 was passed whether you are an Obama fan, or not, EVERYONE IN THE U.S. needs to know....

Something happened... H.R. 1388 was passed yesterday, behind our backs. You may want to read about it. It wasn't mentioned on the news... just went by on the ticker tape at the bottom of the CNN screen.

Obama funds $20M in tax payer dollars to immigrate Hamas Refugees to the USA . This is the news that didn't make the headlines...

By executive order, President Barack Obama has ordered the expenditure of $20.3 million in "migration assistance" to the Palestinian refugee and "conflict victims" in Gaza.

The "presidential determination", which allows hundreds of thousands of Palestinians with ties to Hamas to resettle in the United States, was signed on January 27 and appeared in the Federal Register on February 4..

Few on Capitol Hill, or in the media, took note that the order provides a free ticket replete with housing and food allowances to individuals who have displayed their overwhelming support to the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) in the parliamentary election of January 2006.

Let's review...itemized list of some of Barack Obama's most recent actions since his inauguration:

His first call to any head of state, as president, was to Mahmoud Abbas, leader of Fatah party in the Palestinian territory.

His first one-on-one television interview with any news organization was with Al Arabia television.

His first executive order was to fund/facilitate abortion(s) not just here within the U. S. but within the world, using U. S. tax payer funds.

He ordered Guantanamo Bay closed and all military trials of detainees halted.

He ordered overseas CIA interrogation centers closed.

He withdrew all charges against the masterminds behind the USS Cole and the "terror attack" on 9/11.

Now we learn that he is allowing hundreds of thousands of Palestinian refuges to move to, and live in, the US at American taxpayer expense.

These important, and insightful, issues are being "lost" in the blinding bail-outs and "stimulation" packages.

*Doubtful? To verify this for yourself:

Jenny here....

Anne,

I liked that interview with Michael Boldea, also. Last night I couldn't sleep and got up @3:00 turned on Fox News and there was BO giving his speech to Russia. After watching him sign the papers about the nuke reduction with Russia, I couldn't help but remember that part of the dream( of Dumitru Dudaman) when he says the US pres signs a deal with Russia and with China but behind our backs Russia and China have a deal with N Korea to do us in....time will tell.

On a different note, we had missionaries from our church home on leave. They were from Egypt. One thing they said tht struck me is that although they continue to pray for the US and its current president(because of the harm it has done to our country), that situation has opened doors for them in the Middle East. For all the leaders of the ME consider BO a Muslim and that has relaxed some tensions and restrictions for them. They are able to travel in places that were hard to get at before. I think the only people group that don't consider him a Muslim are Americans.

Isn't that just like God?? What man has meant for evil or harm He will use to His good. Maybe he will become a Christian...maybe that guys dream is right and BO will have a dream of his own that will be life changing. Nothing is to small for Him. Keep praying for the Muslims and the people of the Middle East, God is doing a mighty work over there...I can only imagine the spriritual war-fare those Christians are up against. I think we are going to start getting a taste of it ourselves.

How come all the crop circles seem to be in Europe??

Fighting the good fight,
Jenny

2.) The link provided at the bottom is not a .gov link. It is a .com link. The main federal register site is at:

I couldn't seem to locate the Executive Order that the e-mail claims was signed by BOO.

BE CAREFUL about going to sites that someone claims are legitimate web sites. I'm pretty sure that just visiting some web sites can open you up to malicious computer stuff.

Been out for awhile. Internet has been down. I think the server that crashed because of everyone trying to get tickets to Michael Jackson's funeral caused something to happen to Charter. They were out most of the weekend and Monday.
The Baskin Robbins was too funny! Laughter doeth the heart good like a medicine!
Diana, glad to hear your husband is doing well. I had to use that ointment before myself and loved it! It was a prayer answered! We go to public celebrations and don't light them ourselves anymore. Too many things can happen. We had someone with us that lit a bottle rocket. It was , we thought, a safe distance away, pointing away from any people. Anyway, he lit it, it went up and stopped a short distance, then shot in the opposite direction...towards the people! My nephew was in a wheel chair and couldn't run. It hit him in the eye and went off! We absolutely freaked out! He spent about 3 days in the hospital but, with prayers, he came out with no permanent damage! It fixed us though of ever wanting to light them again. You just can't predict what they will do.
Things are changing in this world fast. I wake up everyday and turn on the news to see what the next step is. Then I get on the internet and search and see what is happening there. I do believe we are in the end of days. I do believe the signing of the peace treaty with Isreal for 7 years is the beginning of the last 7. That hasn't happened.....yet. Just a note, Friday is July 10. If December 21, 2012 is the halfway mark, we are getting really close to something big happening!

I've been reading John McTernan's Blog. He might have some beliefs which I disagree with, as Jib has pointed out, but he also has much interesting info. For example, Singularity, a term I had never heard before, "The merging of man’s biological thinking and existence with technology to the point there is no distinction between human and machine." His long article (which is linked in the first post for 7/7/09) "Singularity and the Image of the Beast" describes how science is working hard to merge technology with human thought, emotion, intelligence etc, and that this cyborg might be the image of the beast created by the false prophet. Even if that does not happen what is happening in the scientific world is fascinating and frightening. Add all this progress to this, which has been posted here before I think, and you've got quite a scene. Tower of Babel, anyone??

ditto to what Scott R said about seeing a hand surgeon if on the palm however i would add that if the burns cross joints-any joints- you need to make sure he works his fingers and wrist bending and stretching the joints daily, several times a day. even second degree burns can cause loss of function in his hands. Since your husband makes his living with his hands I would suggest seeing either a hand surgeon of some sort-preferably one with burn experience. also if there are burns on the fingers please wrap the fingers individually like a glove and not as a mitten-slows down the healing, leads to infection etc. if a joint or joints are stiff after he heals get him into physical therapy asap.

also don't allow anyone to ever put any grease on your burns-like that good old standby butter!

btw recently saw that the tip of a sparkler heats up to 1200F and glass melts at 900F!. they are risky little suckers!

Hyde, what is OL? I wanted to get the link so I can send the post to people on my email list.
At Marzulli's blog someone said that the Pope wanted some legistlation with some "teeth" in it. They then wrote the scripture from Daniel about the iron teeth.pope sinks teeth into financial it's just kinda weird with everything else going on. Of course, I have heard that expression plenty of times before.
I have kept making reference to the coat of arms of Prince William. I am posting a picture of it so you will know what I am talking about. coat of arms Notice the red dragon, the little horn with the man's eye, the beast on the right with the bear's foot, body of a leopard, and head of a lion. Just some really weird stuff considering the time and age we're living in. He will also be 30 in 2012. He was born on June 21 which happens to be a big celebration in the occult. It is a celebration of the summer equinox. There was an eclipse of the sun and the moon the day he was born. Nothing definite, just creepy.
Maybe you haven't seen the universal faith symbol in that form. I think this is a more common form for it.coexist symbol I have seen it several times on bumper stickers and window stickers on cars. I do believe there is a subtle push to get us use to seeing it.

Christine, Shalom! I think you're misreading/misinterpreting the UK Royal Coat of Arms. I don't see a dragon or a horn with one eye anywere on the standard. If you go to the Wikipeadia entry for the Royal Coat of Arms you'll see a larger version of the arms along with a complete heraldic description of the symbols. (I used to dabble in heraldry, so I can read the descriptions -- nothing about dragons or horns.) An easier-to-read description is on the Woodlands Junior School, UK British Life and Culture webpage. There's also more information on the Fleur-de-Lis webpage. This last page (scroll down a bit) has the personal coat-of-arms for Prince William. Also, where did you find that he was born on a day with both a solar and a lunar eclipse? The physics of the situation are such that you CANNOT have both on the same day; they must be separated by two weeks.

Jim, I can't find it. I know I probably misquoted the eclipses, but it was some natural phenomena. I will have to read it again. If you read grailcode.net is has either 20 or 30 years of research into it. It also has the Princes shield, somewhat different than your picture. It has a bottom on it instead of grass and has a repeat of Prince Charles' shield with a red dragon. It is very interesting stuff!

To anyone who is a regular reader over at Look Up Fellowship,

I am having problems with the site and am wondering of it is my computer or the site. When I go there evrything shows up except for the articles! I can even see the most recent ones written but when I click to go there the article does not show! :( Anyone else having problems??

Also, thank you for your prayers for DH's hand. He can move it just fine and the pain is diminishing greatly. We are not concerned about healing now. The Lord is certainly taking care of it!

OK, I checked it out. The eclipse was a new moon solar eclipse. That is where I mixed the sun (solar) and moon. Also, the horn they were talking about is the unicorn's "little" horn with a human eye. His eye is not that of a horses eye in later photographs. In researching the coat of arms, I was surprised at its evolution. I always thought it was one way and that was it. I have learned that, while the main elements have to be there, there are some changes in the way it is pictured as it evolves.

Diana, no problems for me with Look Up Fellowship. Just saw the latest post and it's a video "Pope Calls For New World Financial Order". Haven't read or watched yet.

Diana, interesting, others are also having trouble. JRed's quoting some of the messages he's been getting like this one: "I have been having problems opening your site for the past 2 days. Your site will come up, but your daily commentary area is blank. Have you had other complaints regarding this problem?

diana said...

Anne,
Thanks! I sent him a message too. I wonder what in the world is going on with that? Only certain people are having problems. Will too many hits on a site cause that?

Alf Cengia said...

JRed's problems could be Web browser related. I have problems viewing some sites (eg Jred's) with Explorer 8 so I use Firefox or Opera. He has quite a few items that need to load up to begin with and web traffic exacerbates the problem.

Late Night Lisa said...

I posted over @ Jreds today w/no problems. He's been checking around to see if his Syncro-Pop Culture info is going overboard.

There is a mix of responses but it seems like most think he's been getting a little too into it for their taste.

Then I had my own light bulb moment w/the Crop Circle stuff. Since I'm a designer I'm naturally sort of intrigued by the"designs". Then recently I was reading some comments of what people thought they meant. There was a jellyfish style one not long ago I was really taking a close look at & counted the circles & patters to see if anything made sense-which BTW it really didn't.

So a few days ago I was seeking the Lord out on this one asking if this is even something we should bother with or just leave it as is.

Then today on Jreds blog in the middle of the Syncro-Pop discussion a lady asked the Lord about Crop Circles & she said she felt directed to scripture in Exodus? where it speaks of "graven images."

Well, that kind of struck a chord because Crop Circles are patterns/images ingraved by bending plant stocks. I had never thought of them in that light before but if it's symbolic art designed by demonic entities-then of course it would certainly fall under graven images would it not? It doesn't have to be made out of wood or stone. It's still some type of communication produced by fallen beings we presume.

Anybody have a thought on that?

David Flynn briefly mentions them in the "Temple at the Center of Time". He says the phenomenon began in 1980. The season begins at the same time of Lag b'Omer (celebration of the 33rd day counted from the harvest of sheaves(omer) from Passover until the Shavuot.) and lasts until the Rosh Hashanah.

From the temple mount in Jerusalem, to the location of the greatest concentration of Crop Circles in Wiltshire, England, there are exactly 33 to 33.33 degrees of the circle of the earth.
The areas they occur are near many of the monolithic druid structures there.

Genesis 6:1-8
1And it came to pass, when men began to multiply on the face of the earth, and daughters were born unto them,

2That the sons of God saw the daughters of men that they were fair; and they took them wives of all which they chose.

3And the LORD said, My spirit shall not always strive with man, for that he also is flesh: yet his days shall be an hundred and twenty years.

4There were giants in the earth in those days; and also after that, when the sons of God came in unto the daughters of men, and they bare children to them, the same became mighty men which were of old, men of renown.

5And God saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually.

6And it repented the LORD that he had made man on the earth, and it grieved him at his heart.

7And the LORD said, I will destroy man whom I have created from the face of the earth; both man, and beast, and the creeping thing, and the fowls of the air; for it repenteth me that I have made them.

8But Noah found grace in the eyes of the LORD.

I really think these crop circles are a big deception along with UFO's. I think we are "as it was in the days of Noah" Satan is out to make people believe that there is another hope in a new and gentler truth.

I think we have crossed the line somewhere and are seeing the beginning stages of end-time prophecy unfold.

Could we have crossed the line now that scientist have "created sperm?" British scientists grow sperm in laboratory

A Call To Anguish by David Wilkerson Short video.

jim.carroll said...

Shalom, all. I've been getting a lot of referrals to different videos and articles regarding "The Pope's Call for a New World Order." The best I can say about these reports (at least what I can say on a family-friendly forum) is poppycock.

All the reports (and I mean EVERY SINGLE ARTICLE AND VIDEO) that I have seen on this topic have been cherry-picking lines and quotes from the encyclical in order to show the Pope saying things he did not say.

I refer you to this editorial on LifeSite News: Editorial: Pope's New Encyclical Speaks Against, not for One-World Government and New World Order The editorial is a quick read, and I'm tempted to just copy the whole thing here, but here are some basic points:

The Pope actually speaks directly against a one-world government, and, as would be expected from those who have read his previous writings, calls for massive reform of the United Nations. Confusion seems to have come from paragraph 67 of the encyclical, which has some choice pull-quotes which have spiced the pages of the world's news, from the New York Times to those of conspiracy theorist bloggers seeing the Pope as the Anti-Christ.

...

Since long before his papacy, Joseph Ratzinger has vigorously fought the United Nations' vision of a 'New World Order'. As early as 1997, and repeated subsequently, Ratzinger took public aim at such a vision, noting that the philosophy coming from UN conferences and the Millennium Summit "proposes strategies to reduce the number of guests at the table of humanity, so that the presumed happiness [we] have attained will not be affected"
.

(The above quote has links to these two articles: Cardinal Ratzinger's Preface to Michel Schooyans Book, "The Gospel: Confronting World Disorder" and CARDINAL RATZINGER CRITICIZES UN PROPOSAL FOR "NEW WORLD ORDER")

The editorial finishes up by saying, Any vision of a proper ordering of the world, of international economics or political cooperation, suggests the Pope, must be based on a "moral order." That includes first and foremost "the fundamental right to life" from conception to natural death, the recognition of the family based on marriage between one man and one woman as the basis of society and freedom for faith and cooperation among all peoples based on principles of natural law.

Hardly the radical call for socialism and "one-world government" some people would have you believe, now, is it?

Whew! Glad to hear the Pope is standing against the New World Order! At least someone with some pull is....!
Anonymous, the Word talks about men's hearts failing them for fear of the things they are seeing come upon the earth. I have also discovered that apocalypse means the thinning of the veil between the natural and supernatural. I have posted it here before but, I believe with all my heart, we are going to see things that, without the Lord, will absolutely scare us to death. The invisible war between God and satan is becoming visible. We all really need to be praying and staying in the Word!
The devil has always like to show off and I am sure his minions do too. Like father like son. Anyway, I believe they have proved some of the crop circles are hoaxes but the more complicated ones, like the ones Lisa posted, are not. Satan's own know the battle that is going on here. I am sure they are aware that our government is trying to keep them under wraps while they backward engineer the technology they are getting from them. After all, we can't have a panicked world can we? In spite of knowing the government is trying to keep them under wraps, these evil entities can't help themselves and have to show off now and again. I am sure, if all of this is true, it won't be much longer and something will happen that cannot be denied any longer. I really hope that it's not while I am still here to see it, but it kind of looks like it might be! Lord Jesus come quickly!
1 more day until July 10. I kind of think 2012 will be the beginning of the tribulation with 2015 being the midpoint. I guess we will see!

The younger people wanted change but did not get it. I wonder what percentage of Iran are looking for the Mahdi? I think that the president of Iran knows that Israel will not tolerate them having nuclear capabilities and will allow the progress toward a bomb or to get them thinking they are building one, to eventually bring about an attack against Iran. The Mahdi (my belief is the AC)will come only when the world situation is getting desperate like the aftermath of the destruction of Iran's nuclear facilities.

Are you tired of farting around?

Go minister to these people. Today my online ministry contacts were from Iran, Egypt, Sudan, & the U.S. All 1st time accepting Christ.

You don't get a whole lot of responses for the amount of emails responded to but it's sure refreshing to be in the loop & able to minister to people who are hungry & seeking after God.

It's really a blessing. Especially in dead/blind/ & apathetic America. It gets discouraging here w/the lack of response & concern for spiritual matters.

There are people who need you. Ask the Lord-check it out.

Checking out the Global Media Outreach. How is it for you? I know that you said that you are a volunteer.

Christine
I saw that info about the beheadings in Somalia and have been praying for that family. The Lord woke me early this morning and would not let me go back to sleep until I spent some time praying. I can't even begin to imagine what that must be like for them. I feel so sad but I do like to think about how I will see them all with the Lord someday and I do not want to be ashamed in front of them for not taking time to pray for them.

Actually, Christine, I just looked at the link from you and this is a different beheading than the one I knew about. Voice of the Martyrs published an account of two boys ages 11 and 12 that were beheaded when their father did not give up info on church leaders(this also happened in Somalia). The family members are now refugees somewhere (the mom and another son along with the dad) So, so sad and terrifying.

Maybe that hoax e-mail wasn't so far off after all. In addition to the up and coming California earthquake (which we have been expecting since I was a kid.) most of the Iraqi-Palestinian Refugees are scheduled to come to So.Cal.

US to resettle 1,350 Iraqi-Palestinian refugees.

So. Cal? Why here? Our state in going bankrupt. So if they can't find homes the weather is good enough to chance it on the street?

Whose great idea was this one? Thank a lot Obama. Unless we can convert them to Christ I don't want em. How's that for sisterly love? Grumble, grumble. It must be God's judgment for CA Sodom & Gomorrah.

Diana,

I love it. It's really interesting hearing from people all over the world who are seeking God. Some responses are texts from cell phones & others are from computer emails.

Gee, ya think? :-)

This editorial has so many things wrong with it, I'm not going to even bother ripping it apart; other than saying that if Paul VI was so wrong with "Humanae Vitae", why is it that every bad thing he predicted that would occur if ideas towards sex were "more progressive" have come to pass? I have yet to meet anyone who is critical of HV who has actually read it. They're all critical of what they THINK it says.

I'm interested in thoughts about two men who visions and/or prophetic dreams. First, Michael Boldea, Jr. We've mentioned him here a number of times along with his grandfather Dumitru Duduman. I'm wondering about him because of a blog, I came across which causes me to think twice about the validity of his dreams/visions. She seems grounded, but if she's right I'm very disappointed. I've spent much too much time reading about it today and my mind is starting to turn to mush.

Next, I'm wondering if anyone knows anything about Mike Poremba. You can read what he says at post #34 (scroll down most of the page) about an earthquake to happen in LA on Tuesday. I know, date setting, but the discussion on the blog includes a previous message from Poremba about which he was right on the date. I also understand about discernment and vague words/dreams/visions which could be "fulfilled" with most anything. I'm really wondering if anyone has seen much from this man in the past and what his track record is.

I don't know. If I gave out a prophecy I would have to KNOW it was from the Lord! It scares me! They use to stone the prophets if they even missed one! Thank G-d for grace! It just seems like it is such a serious thing to say "Thus saith the Lord." It's like if you say that, it better have been Him! As fallible as we are, I would be afraid to go there!
I am wondering if the beheadings we are seeing are only the beginning? It's just plain cruel. Who would want to be a part of a religion that was so cruel?
Obama and the Catholic church, now that is interesting! I had to chuckle when I read that! Some people just can't even imagine what they are saying! It's like, "Lord forgive them for they know not what they do." Let's see if the person who said it will say it to the Lord's face when he is standing in judgement. Wouldn't want to be in their shoes! I have enough idle words of my own to stand in for!
Something I thought about the California earthquakes...you all know they said that there have been several deep tremors this week. They said it was like the tremors of a major earthquake they had years ago. earthquake tremors So the people predicting just may be right! I guarantee, if they are, people will be paying attention the next time they say something!
I listen to Pal talk on Saturdays. It has church/messianic teachers that are very interesting to say the least. In the religions room I saw there was an Islamic room. I checked it out....curious you know. Anyway, Matreya was on there! I was shocked he was using that means to reach the people. Some think, if antichrist is Islamic, it will be him. Some think the king of Jordan. It has something to do with the Word saying he was Assyrian they say. I don't exactly know where they get that. I still think he will be part of the old Roman empire;toes of clay and iron. Anyway, it's another theory but I was really surprised to see someone of such high regard in the Islamic world using pal talk! I like to listen to Bill Cloud and Eddie Chumney. They bring out some interesting points.

Also about the King of Jordan....he owns the rights to the temple mounnt!

Anne and Christine, Shalom! The biggest problem I have with "date setting" predictions/prophecies is that they deny the possibility of G_D's mercy. To say that such-and-such a thing will happen on this date is like saying that nothing, not even prayer, will divert G_D's wrath. And to say that, through prayer, we can divert it, almost seems like a CYA statement. Steve Martin was in a movie back in 1992 called "Leap of Faith" where he was an evangelist and faith healer in a traveling show. Backstage, the entire thing was treated like a business -- how many bodies can we bring in, etc., and he always had a fallback position saying if you weren't healed, your faith was insufficient. I'm VERY leery of any preacher who makes a prediction and then falls back on this saying when it doesn't occur. I'm MUCH more comfortable with people who say that this is something that MAY happen, we should pray that it doesn't, and who DON'T GIVE DATES!

Unless of course, the dates are fresh and not out of some box. Cut them in half, smear them with a little cream cheese and a dollop of honey, UMMM-UHMM!

Oh, and I'm thinking the AC will be Jewish from Istanbul (not Constantinople ;-) Jewish because the Jews would never accept a non-Jew as the Messiah; Istanbul because it stands on the boundary between East and West. Covering the entire world, as the case may be...
