Psalm 25:4-5

Show me your ways,
O LORD,
teach me your paths;
guide me in your truth
and teach me,
for you are God my Savior,
and my hope
is in you all day long.

labor pains are getting stronger

Scott Robinson said...

Campsmore,

How's this for a labor pain?

Scott and I are sitting here watching the news....dismal at best. Big three auto maker screwed up with their personal jets that they want us to pay for(with tax payer bail out) the stock market is below 8000 they are finally saying the word recession. Now here is the BIG LABOR PAIN...4 min. blurb on a local lady from Dallas(Carrollton)who is discussing her alien abduction. Her wording was interesting as she spoke of what the aliens kept telling her... "it was her time to go". The major kicker that you need to tune in tomorrow night for is-- how she became pregnant and has had a child that is half human and half alien. Can you say nephilim??

I wonder if these stories are going to start rising in number. Do tell if anyone else see/hears them on their local news, please. Just interested if this will play in to a possible excuse as to why so many of us may be missing during a certain time??? I know we have discussed that possibility here before. How are they(those left behind) going to know we are all at the Heavenly Cafe enjoying our perfect cup of joe??? I hope I've said enough or have made myself clear of where I stand in my beliefs that if someone was to be left behind, they could remember our actions as well as words. I will pray for more boldness in this area.

On a positive note. I teach school and we just had a newly contructed gym dedication today. The wealthy family that matched half the funds to make it possible clung to their Bible verse/family motto. "to whom much is given...much is expected". After that, a state senator gave a speech in which he read from the Bible and gave the Glory of all that we have to the Lord-putting Him above all. God fearing and God loving people are still strong and out in our country. I pray for their courage.

I feel that more and more people are open to talking about end-times(way more than even 4 months ago). Especially throughout many different denominations--I love unity:) Maybe we are about to see a revival of God's church in our nation. Never is God's church stronger than when it is persecuted or under fire. I feel the new wave of administration is about to TRY to devour us and all that God stands for....in vain of course.

How many days until the next contration? Remember each birth pain gets more painful. Praying for perserverance for us all.

Fighting the Good Fight,

Jenny

Jim Brown - OneNewsNow - 11/19/2008 6:00:00

A Jewish-American journalist and Internet entrepreneur who voted for John McCain on Election Day is apologizing to McCain, Sarah Palin, evangelical Christians, and conservative commentators who support the state of Israel, including Sean Hannity and Ann Coulter.

Dean RotbartFormer Wall Street Journal editor Dean Rotbart says he is apologizing to those non-Jewish supporters of Israel on behalf of the 22 percent of fellow Jewish Americans who did not vote for Senator Barack Obama.

Rotbart says he and other conservative Jews let the nearly eight in 10 American Jews who voted for Obama "wander into the political desert." In a column for The Jewish Journal in Los Angeles, he argues that Jewish Obama voters have lost sight of many Judeo-Christian values.

"I fear that they have come to worship secularism, if you will, and the popular thing to do in America is to overlook the obvious," says Rotbart. "Anybody who gave the facts in this [election] a fair read, I think, would have to have concluded that the people that president-elect Obama associated with were not people who embrace our Western Judeo-Christian values -- people like Rashid Khalidi, William Ayers, Tony Rezko."

Rotbart accuses the 78 percent of American Jews who voted for Barack Obama of what he calls "Jewish philistinism," or "the blind worship of what is popular...and the denial of what is obvious and truthful." Rotbart contends Obama's actions and experience are "frightening," and warns that with Obama in the White House, there will likely be a "nuclear war in the Middle East" launched by Iran.

Shalom, all! You need to check out the photo that's illustrating Mark Mallet's latest blog entry titled "Persecution! (Spiritual Tsunami)". It's a picture of the Christmas Tsunami that shows this family frolicking on the newly-exposed seabed, and behind them, unnoticed by all, is the first wave of the tsunami.

I look at that photo and feel for the family, and wonder if any of them survived. Then I remember something someone posted on Joel's site way back when. The local muslims were persecuting the Christians, so much so that for their own safety the Christians climbed into the mountains to celebrate Christmas. As a result, not very many Christians were caught and killed by the waves.

In the persecution to come, we can think of how maybe that persecution will be driving us towards higher ground, where we will be safe at the end.

Found this on LifeSiteNews.com:

Why Christians long for the Second Coming: Pope explains

Excerpts:

Christians should not long for the end of the world, Pope Benedict XVI told his regular weekly audience on November 12. But the faithful should pray for the return of Jesus-- even knowing that his Second Coming presages the end of the world-- because "without the presence of Christ a truly just and renewed world will never come."

In expectation of the end times, Christians must "work to ensure this world opens to Christ," the Pope continued. In his First Letter to the Corinthians, he observed, St. Paul depicts the Christian community praying for Christ's return: "Maranatha! Our Lord, come!"

Jenny,

That's quite disturbing. I wonder if they're already here? My 16 year old son and I were in Wallyworld last night for a few items. I sent him for lunch fixin's and I went to the back for the milk. We met up at the register, paid for the groceries and left the store.

When we got to the van, he asked me if I saw Goliath in the store? I didn't know what he was talking about. He said he saw a man at least 2 ft. taller than himself. My son is over 6 feet tall.

I laughed and said, "very funny," only, he was dead serious.

I've never spoken to my family about the nephilim topic that's discussed here. So for him to say that, just gave me the willies. I'm sure genetic things are quite possible. There's always someone that's going to make the Guiness World Book of Records, but it did get me thinking.

And then you post this? The people on this earth are so open for deception right now. They have willingly pulled the shade over their own eyes. It was greed and lust and a bit of hate that causes them to be deceived.

At this time, it is important to let everyone know that Jesus is coming back soon. The chances of their coming to Christ after the rapture are very slim.

I was able to have a talk with Scott and Lisa yesterday. I shared about the deception that some have that there are many roads to God. I reiterated that there is only one path. Jesus said, I am the way, the truth and the life and no man comes to the Father, except thru me. God's wrath is coming to the earth and I don't want you to be here. It is only the beginning of eternal damnation. The suffering on this earth will not even compare to what is to come in hell. (Lisa is a believer)

Only a loving Father would provide his children with choices. Vanilla or chocolate, short-sleeve or long-sleeve, me or him. He created all things, good and evil because He is loving. He gave us a choice.

We have to let others know that. Many think that living on earth is hell now. They think that if there was a God, how could he allow bad things to happen.

He does because of HIs love and the choice He gave us. We can choose to love and be completely loved by God, or we can choose the evil one who only deceives and destroys.

We have to let them know that. WE have to stop worrying about how others will perceive us. We have to allow God to use us. None of us are worthy in our own rights. We all deserve death. It's only thru Christ that we have this assurance. He will keep us, guide us, protect us and rescue us when it's time.

Tell everyone you know. The more you tell them, the easier it becomes. Try it. Keep doing it. Allow God to use you. He will.

He can even take our messed up words and turn them into a miracle, it's your choice.

love ya's

Good articles. "Maranatha" is the name of our CA church-so you know I've been praying it daily!

Jenny,

You remember how I feel about those "Aliens". I've been harping on this for some time. I even brought it up @ Joel's Trumpet this week.

There was a lady named "Diana" who appreciated a like mind.

Well I tell you one thing-if I didn't feel burdened w/this I certainly wouldn't be the type to bring it up. I'm trusting in the Lord on this one. If nothing at all transpires along these lines I'm going to look like one big
imbicile!

This morning I was reading the back of a "Horizon" organic dairy product & the first sentance:

"At Horizon Organic, we believe in producing w/o antibiotics, added hormones, pesticides or cloning...."

Can you believe that? Now they have to add "CLONING" to the list?

Shalom, all! RE: cloning cows...

Yeah, it's done all the time. Imagine you have a prize bull; blue ribbon at the state fair and all. You can sell the semen to different breeders, and they can breed your bull with their cows without having to haul your bull all over the country.

Now imagine you've got a prize cow. Maybe she's a prize milker, or comes from a line that provides good meat. A bull can inseminate any number of cows; but a cow can produce only one calf per season. Rather than take a risk on the genetic shuffleboard that this cow's calves won't be as good milkers, they extract the genetic material, prep it, the buyers implant the eggs in their own cows, and in a few months, you have your own copy of the prize milker.

The ethical issue comes when you have your cloned prize milker, and she mates with your prize bull. The calf is the result of the genetic shuffleboard, but the calf's mother isn't. Can you sell this cow's milk as not having come from a cloned cow?

You should have seen this today. I was invited to a southern tea by a wonderful Christian lady I've met in TN.

It was kind of a Lisa send off to CA celebration. There were four of us. Myself, a close friend (who knows me) the Hostess & another lady who are all Baptists.

The table was beautiful w/fine China & the works. So in the middle of our nice chat I sprung it on them.(I'm going to attribute this to you Jenny-after I read your email I felt like bold enough to bring it up (:)

It was prefaced that I study Bible prophecy but I asked them to think about this one question: If Alien/UFO's were to appear right now-via live/TV or what have you- what do you think they are?

Well-I have to say they sat there totally speechless.(Now the friend who knows me was not surprised by my question.)The Hostess came up w/thinking about life on other planets but it was such a profound idea that they couldn't really say anything.

So I then explained what I thought & about the Nephilim in the Bible & spoke a little more about Bible prophecy. I'm sure it's a tea they will never forget! But really-they took it nicely & we had fun.

What this showed me is how unprepared everybody would be. Even Christians would be so confused & know so little about the Nephilim subject in the Bible that I don't know if they would ever connect the dots. That is what scares me the most.

We have to know God's word well enough to be able to make connections when situations arise.
There may actually be a higher reason why these stories were included in the Bible & it's possible it could be for our time.

Most pastor's tend to overlook this part so their congregations don't have any reference points unless they have either done some study on their own, actually read the entire Bible, or met someone as crazy as I am.

I was hoping they would connect it & maybe w/some more thinking time they would have. The one lady didn't even know much about the Nephilim if anything at all.

Hi Lisa,
When do you move? I'd like to know generally so I can keep your family in prayer. Do you have a place in CA to move into? I remember you mentioned a previous house.

To the group...if you were to do something like Lisa just spoke of - ie. bring up the topic of endtimes with a group of people you were pretty sure weren't up to speed - what are the top 10 subjects you'd touch on? Like a primer on the topic. My boldness is growing and I've been testing it out on hubby. Poor guy! He's in the builder industry and is really thankful to have a job right now, so all my links to articles on the various topics is overwhelming him. He's not able yet to run on parallel tracks....keep plugging away on matters of daily life/future plans while at the same time thinking of all that is likely to happen in the next few months/years. I promised to limit my emails to him to one or two a week. Otherwise he'll run back to the sanddune and stick his head in. But he's coming around no doubt and just last night said that he understands the things I'm talking about, including the rapture, are now 'likely' to happen in our life time (we're in our mid-30s.)
My problem with tackling this subject with others is the lack of time to thoroughly cover these things. I've had 2 years now to do my homework, sometimes obsessively for days on end at the computer, to bring me to the point where I see things so much more clearly. I've had months now to work on hubby and the ability to revisit things with him and build on them. What do I do with someone I might see for a few hours over the holidays? This might be a sleepwalking Christian or someone I am pretty sure isn't saved. Apart from sharing the gospel, I am unsure which of the dozens of related topics to share. What would your conversation focus on?
Here are some of my approaches, in no particular order...

All the predictions about Jesus' birth were overlooked/missed by most in his day as well, but he still really did come and did fulfill all the prophesies made about him (for those who say we can't know the times)

Scripture says we won't know the day/hour but we ARE told to watch and know the season

My favorite - There will eventually be a final generation. It's not a circle without end.

The process is described as labor pains, not a chronic condition

The days of Noah correlation

OWG

Good becomes bad and vice versa

Israel standing alone to face enemies

Increase of natural disasters

Rise of Russia

Encouraging a third-lense view of events (taken from Joel's Epicenter) for those who are churched

Jen,

The girls, cats,& I fly back Dec 3rd to our old house. Hubby is leaving a couple days earlier. Thanks for thinking of us!

Jim G.,

I have met a couple builders but not your friend. It's a shame they've been deluded into such complacency.

Over @ Joel's Trumpet, Diana, Michael, and I were stirring things up. Not intentionally but just providing an alternative view of those S.F. gays attacking the Christians. (there were a couple others in agreement)

We were looking more at the Christians themselves and what they were up to in order to get into such a dire situation.

So the topic switched from the poor persecuted Christians to why were they there & what was their theology? (This is not exactly what Joel had in mind & expressed it so many words.)

Well this created an uproar.90 plus comments. But what I was really taken aback was how- many of them view false doctrine. One of them commented "Are you going to throw the baby out with the bathwater?"

I didn't reply to that- but actually Yes I would throw the entire mess out & stick with the true gospel.

Joel just considered it "denomination" bashing.

But what is concerning to me is that they have their heads stuck so far in the Islam ME events that they are missing the deception within the Church happening right under their noses.

And clearly-many of them have no intention of listening to anyone else.

Hi everyone! I am Diana. LatenightLisa invited me over from Joel's Trumpet. I am so happy to be here! I have taken some slack at Joel's for a few things and am so thankful when I have found some like minded believers there.
I find the Psalm quoted in this entry a wonderful one for me right now. I asked the Lord to start teaching me himself as if I was a babe in Christ again because of all of the mixed up teachings and confusion that i have received from the many churches i have been to. So, this Psalm really speaks to me.
I am just beginning to learn about the Nephilim and find it a fascinating subject, one i will study up more on. I truly believe in being like the Bereans and a few have warned me of the "religious spirit" because of it. But, I am trully seeing an answer to my heartfelt prayer to the Lord that He teach me truth! That is awsome!
Well, looking forward to getting to know you all better and reading all of your interesting topics!

Jen, Shalom! I'll continue to keep you and your husband in my prayers. I think bit by bit I'm winning some family members over to our side, esp. after the economic problems I wrote about last year came true in October. I'll probably bring up the subject of Nephilim but only in the broader context of "a biblical warning against mixing genetic types", and the possibility of Satan using an "alien appearance" during a time of great stress and fear to draw people away from G_D. You know, here are our saviors come down from the sky, just like the Bible said they would, and they'll help us as long as we agree to get rid of outdated, outmoded views of G_D such as Christianity and Judaism.

Mostly, though, I'm focusing on the growing persecution of Christians, and pointing out how our country and culture are taking those first baby steps towards painting Christians and Christianity as the real enemy.

Lisa, Shalom! Good luck on your move! Just don't forget to pack the girls! You may be tempted to put all of them in one box, but don't. You don't want to lose them all if the shippers go to the wrong address. And make sure their box is clearly labeled, so it can be one of the first to be opened (after the box that contains the drinking glasses and toilet paper, of course.)

Also, your mentioning of the Christians being set upon in the Castro district reminded me of something that happened in Paris around the year 300. (Don't have time to look it up, so some of the details may be off.) There had been a persecution there, and the local governor wrote to Rome and bragged about all the Christians he had bagged and who were being preparing for execution. One of the priests who had been imprisoned heard about this and was very upset. Not about the bragging, but because the governor had included in his count of Christians a large group of Monophysites, who were most definitely NOT Christian!

Lisa
I had never heard of the nephilim before blogging with this group. Most Baptist circles translate that sons of God as the righteous line of Seth. I would now disagree so it is no wonder given the make up of your group at tea that they had never heard of what you were talking about.

We went to the new Bond movie-not a bad flick but unless you are a die hard fan wait for the dvd. it just opened last thursday and there was barely anyone in the theater. On the other hand the theater is going to have all 18 screens showing the movie "twilight" tonight. there were 4 police cars and a line so long you wouldn't believe. Have you all noticed how hollywood is rehabilitating the darker violent mythos-witches are good witches aka Harry potter, vampires are misunderstood and some are all bad aka Buffy and now this new movie.

I thought of Lisa tonight while watching the trailer to the remake of the day the earth stood still-classic sci fi very updated. aliens taking over the planet-wiping out segments of the population and there was something in the trailer although I don't remember what that made me think-this is how they could explain away so many people disappearing or may be it was just the trailer itself. comes out on 12/12 btw.

the whole world is getting darker. if it this bad now and the restrainer-whomever you believe it to be-is still on the earth, just how bad is it going to get when the restrainer is removed?

Good points, Jim...I'll add those topics to my list. And thanks for the prayers for hubby. I've been amazed at the movement he's made in just the last month or two. Really encouraging and faith-building.

I had an opportunity to speak a little with Valerie tonight (the triplet mom I'm helping.) She's somewhat tuned in to things, but isn't looking through the Scriptural lense, but rather the moral decline lense. However, I figure a few seeds scattered every week will eventually sprout and we can delve deeper.
One of her girls has to have a head ultrasound next week with a neurosurgeon (growing faster than average, so they want to take a closer look) and I offered to pray over the baby. She was very eager to accept and afterward said she felt a deep peace about the situation. I told her that was the Holy Spirit giving her a hug!
Perhaps this will develop into an opportunity to share these things with her and wake her up to the spiritual battle that's raging all around us.

Diana...welcome and glad to have you here!

Blessings,
Jen

Late Night Lisa said...

Diana,

They warned you of a "religious spirit?" For searching the scripture for the truth in teachings?

The only spirit I know who leads you to truth in the Holy Spirit.

Hum, I wonder what they are speaking of? I guess I have not been warned of that before.

Well you can't go wrong yielding fully to the Holy Spirit & finding out where He takes you.

“I will ask the Father, and He will give you another Helper, that He may be with you forever; that is the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it does not behold Him or know Him, but you know Him because He abides with you, and will be in you” (John 14:16-17).

John 16:13 "But when He, the Spirit of truth, comes, He will guide you into all the truth; for He will not speak on His own initiative, but whatever He hears, He will speak; and He will disclose to you what is to come.

Jen,

I suppose it's good to take precautions. My eldest daughter's head was extra large as well. She was born @ 9 lbs & they always scared me with the tape measuring process too!

We were not ever sent to an expert but I would always see a look in the nurses eyes because her measurements always went OFF the scale when it came to her head. (Her body was always in the 90/100%range.) Anyway, she ended up being just fine.

jim.carroll said...

Jen, one more thing:

When thinking about or trying to discuss these things with my family, I have to remind myself of the parable of Lazarus and the poor man. When Lazarus was in Hades and asked Abraham to send a warning to his brothers, Lazarus basically said the brothers had all the help they needed from the Law and the Prophets. If that wasn't good enough for them, too bad.

IOW, the signs and warnings are there, and have been for all our lives, placed there by G_D. At some point, the people have to take some responsibility for ignoring these warnings and turning away from G_D.

Shutting Down Dissent:

By Paul M. Weyrich
FrontPageMagazine.com | Friday, November 21, 2008

Mr. William J. Federer, a Missourian, is one of the most cheerful people I have met. Despite this, Bill Federer’s writing always has a serious message. His latest book is entitled Endangered Speeches. In it, he traces the effort during the 20th Century to assure that preachers were not involved in the political process. Federer points out that prior to 1913 preachers never gave the Internal Revenue Service or their 501(c)(3) tax-exempt status a thought because there was no mechanism which applied to them. From 1913 until 1954, most preachers simply ignored the IRS, as there was no reason for them to be concerned.

In 1954, President Lyndon B. Johnson, running for re-election, heard that a large group of Texas preachers would oppose him. So he hastily had Congress enact a law which forbade churches from involvement in politics. That was enough to silence preachers and LBJ was re-elected comfortably.

One might think that LBJ would have been content to leave well enough alone. However, when he found out that the American Enterprise Institute (AEI) had assisted Senator Barry M. Goldwater’s candidacy he scared William Broody, Sr. into political uselessness so that AEI required years to recover.

Meanwhile, the IRS, which traditionally had been reluctant to interfere with churches, this year cracked the whip so that most pastors were afraid of losing their church’s loss of tax-exempt status and thereby stayed out of the 2008 elections even though there were moral issues on many state ballots.

Given the incoming presidential administration’s announced effort to reinstate the so-called Fairness Doctrine, which some suggest should be renamed the “Censorship Doctrine,” this attack upon churches is frightening. Senator A. Mitchell (Mitch) McConnell, Jr. (R-KY) said he immediately would file litigation contending that reinstatement of the Fairness Doctrine constituted unconstitutional censorship and an abridgement of our First Amendment rights. However, such a lawsuit likely would take two years to work its way through the courts. There is no question that our First Amendment is under assault. Read Federer’s book to understand how American churches fit into the political process. Then gear up for the fight on the re-christened Censorship Doctrine and the Internet.

wow the article about Bibi certainly gives a great indication on how Israel could end up alone and isolated at the time of Gog and Magog.

While I don't discount that Ps 83 could happen first, it really looks more to me like EZ 38 is going to happen first (I haven't read the other link btw)

interesting critique from Koenig however not sure I agree with some of his statements like-the US and UN will help Israel against an Arab confederacy-since when? since it's founding in 1948, no one has assisted Israel with troops in any of it's wars ajnd in fact I believe most of the wars ended up with the victorious Israeli's being criticized as the trouble makers. Even the debacle of a couple years ago in which there WERE UN troops in Lebanon failed to see any meaningful assistance on the part of the UN to help Israel. The UN as it currently stands is one of the most anti-semitic bodies on the face of the planet. wasn't it Joel who mentioned in one of his books-Epicenter probably-that more UN Resolutions had been passed against Israel than some of the nations surrounding her but that due to the strong presence of the US on the security council they were not enforced.

He does have some good points about Israel being able to capture and maintain that much land however.

One wonders if folks such as Koenig would have said the US was living at peace when the Soviets and Eastern Bloc countries had thousands of nuclear tipped war heads pointed at us and our allies? I'll grant that they were never used to our knowledge.

picking up some old dialogue

Jim G

I don't looks at the map of the last election and see racist-I look at the map and see Southern Baptist. A book written by one of my profs in college traced the development of the GARB convention. In his book he noted that the Northern Baptist and the Southern Baptist either were one Baptist convention in the past but that those in the north were far more liberal than their southern brothers culturally and theologically. I honestly don't remember if the American Baptist was the original parent convention or if it is what the Northern Baptist convention has become and I don't exactly remember how the GARB fits into all of this-it's been a long time since I read the book. Now I'll admit there likely were many in the South who just wouldn't vote for a black man but keep in mind there are still a lot of black people in the south and there are a lot of bigots in the north-one of the docs I work with noted that his mom who lives in NJ wasn't going to vote for BHO because he was black. shocking to say the least.

The other remaining thread was someone posted an article or something on an apology of a Jewish man for the massive Jewish turnout in support of BHO and how stupid that was. The figures of support he gave I found interesting-roughly 25% or so voted for McCain-that's pretty close to the 33% figure or remnant that will be saved to God during the trib.

Oh, WOW! You guys are prolific you know! I have my beloved desktop up and running again and then I did like the tech told me to do. I got an external hard drive, installed it and did a lonnnnggg backup of everything on it. It took over 7 hours to get it done and that is with one of the fastest processors on the market. I told all of you I had a ton of material on the hard drive I didn't want to lose, and thank God it wasn't lost. Now for the catching up with you all.

I haven't taken the time to read anything yet but I will after I get lunch finished and served. We are going to test some Buffalo burgers today and oven baked french fries. For grease I am going to get a huge tablespoon of lard and slather it all over the fries after they are done. Jus kidding Joyce!

I got a lot of reading to do and I will catch you later but what do you think of the move our Lame Duck President made with the G20 and agreeing with the EU to oversee our financials in the future? I can't believe it! But people, we are getting ready to enter into the one world government and we just as well accept it for a fact. Oh, I will kick and scream until God tells me to shut up but this is just more proof of where we are in God's time table.

Love you all,

Jib,

I certainly didn't mean to imply that I see anything racist in the map of the last election. I don't. I was just trying to express a concern that if those states that did not support BHO attempted to break away from the Union, I guarantee they would be accused of doing it for racist reasons. In reality, I think theology, ideology, and world views separate people much more than things like race, gender, or economics.

Diana,
Welcome! Please feel free to write your opinions, and such, okay?

Grany,
Buffalo burgers, huh? Any good?

A litle side note to the movie coming out today, Twilight. It's setting is in Forks, WA. My second oldest son, and his family live there, as it's only 30 miles from where my son works as a Corrections Officier. Anyhow, he said, that people have been visiting Forks, since the books came out. Some even want to know where Bella (one of the main characters) lives? (okay that's pretty strange!) And then they go to the H.S., and to the Forks sign to have their pictures taken :) But one of the funniest things is that one of the local Burger places advertises a "Bella Burger," and it's selling (to the tourists) like hotcakes, LOL! Also the movie was filmed in Oregon :)

And okay, I read the first book, Twilight, too. I wanted to see what all the hub bub was about, etc. It's what the reviews are calling the movie, locally. A bloodless vampire movie. It's almost like, gee, vampires are people, too. They're just misunderstood. Has the world gone mad, all of a sudden? A few years ago, this kind of thing would be so far, "over the top" noone would have believed it would ever happen! About like our present economy. EEK!

Jack Kinsella's briefing for today:

Special Report: Forecasting a "Transformed World"

A report featuring the compiled analyses of US intelligence agencies and issued under the title, "Global Trends 2025: A Transformed World" offers a mixed forecast for the near future.

The previous report in the Global Trends series, which was completed in 2004 and projected developments through 2020, anticipated continued U.S. dominance through that year, though it recognized that the emergence of China and India as new powers would transform the geopolitical landscape.

The new report predicts, "the U.S. will find itself as one of a number of important actors on the world stage," playing "a prominent role in global events" but not necessarily the prominent role.

The new report describes a world torn by increased conflict over scarce food and water supplies, rogue states, terrorists and (of course) global warming.

(Global warming. Sigh. As I type, half the country is in a mid-winter deep freeze. Winter storm warnings dot the weather map. Winter is still a month away. There's that clang psychologists call 'cognitive dissonance' again. But I digress. . . )

The Global Trends reports are produced every five years by the National Intelligence Council, which represents all 16 U.S. intelligence agencies. The Global Trends reports identify and analyze by region, dividing the world into four spheres of world power.

They break down as follows: Russia to the north, Western Europe and the Americas to the West, Asia in the East and Africa and the Non-Aligned Nations (NAM) to the South.

Eastern Europe is lumped in with Russia; Israel with the West, the Arab world with the NAM and Australia and Japan straddle the line West to East.

The forecast says Russia's emergence as a world power is "clouded" by persistent corruption and lagging investment in its critical energy industry.

It also raises the possibility that a government in Eastern Europe "could be effectively taken over and run by organized crime."

The report says that global Islamic terrorist movement is likely to outlast al Qaeda itself, with other groups likely to emerge and supplant it.

So al-Qaeda is doomed but Islamofacism is here to stay. Great.

It also says the global shift from West to East in wealth and economic power "is without precedent in modern history." ("East" generally refers to India, China and the seven 'Little Dragon' nations of Indo-China; Vietnam, Malaysia, Thailand, etc.)

It's a pretty dismal forecast; no wonder everybody seems so stressed. I've read more than one commentary that complained that John McCain practically campaigned for Barack Obama. Given the forecast offered by this report, if he did, I could understand why.

John McCain may be a lot of things, but he's no dummy. It's one thing to seek the job as the 44th President of the United States.

It's another thing altogether to risk going down in history as the last one.

Assessment:

"And when these things BEGIN to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh. " (Luke 21:28)

I want you to keep at the forefront of your mind the fact that this is NOT a report issued by a Bible-believing ministry or an analysis of the conclusions reached by Hal Lindsey in 1969's Late, Great Planet Earth.

This is the consensus opinion of America's 16 intelligence agencies.

It is a fairly safe bet than none of these intelligence agencies is basing its forecasts on Hal's weekly TV program, Chuck Missler's website or Grant Jeffrey's book "The Next World War".

But there's not a dime's worth of difference between the general trends forecast by these 16 intelligence agencies for the next fifteen years and the general trends forecast by the Bible for the last days.

The only place where they differ significantly is in the outcomes. Bible prophecy starts with the outcome and then forecasts how it comes together. God tells the end from the beginning. Created beings are limited to seeing time in only one direction.

Twenty-five hundred years ago, the Bible forecast the world would divide itself into four spheres of regional power: the revived Roman Empire in the West; Gog-Magog to the North; the Kings of the East; and the Kings of the South. The Bible oriented each of these from the perspective of Jerusalem.

The Global Trends report identifies the same regional power blocs. A skeptic might argue the division simply follows the four points on the compass. Maybe. But it is a US report. Still, it orients the compass from the perspective of Jerusalem, not Washington.

Why is that significant? Because it is the most strategic place on earth -- exactly as the Bible predicted it would be -- for ONE generation, somewhere in time.

According to Bible prophecy, the pre-eminent world power will NOT be the United States. The ten toes of Daniel's vision emerge from the two legs of iron that symbolized the Roman Empire. Bible prophecy says Europe must increase, and therefore, America must decrease.

The Global Trends report makes pretty much the same forecast. It is highly unlikely that the sixteen intelligence agencies of America consulted with the Books of Daniel or Zechariah.

The Prophet Ezekiel forecast the development of a vast northern alliance headed by Russia and Iran and including significant parts of Turkey, Eastern Europe and the Balkans. It is supremely unlikely that the sixteen intelligence agencies consulted the Book of Ezekiel.

Islamic eschatology predicts the rise of an Islamic leader, the Mahdi, who will lead the Islamic world in a victorious conquest of the dar al Harb (Zone of War) that will usher in a period of Islamic peace and harmony. According to Islamic scholars, the rider on the white horse in the Book of the Revelation is the Islamic Mahdi.

According to the consensus opinion of America's sixteen intelligence agencies, the Islamic terrorist movement, which seeks to conquer the Dar al Harb and impose a period of Islamic peace and harmony will outlast Osama bin Laden and al-Qaeda.

(Interestingly, while I doubt that Daniel, Ezekiel or Zechariah played much of a role in the Global Trends report, I'll bet the farm that US intelligence has an entire division dedicated to studying the Koran.)

So, what can we glean from all of this that is of use to us in the Battle of the Last Days?

Just this. The Bible is true. And we can prove it.

Bible prophecy concurs with the latest US intelligence forecasts -- but the Bible's forecast came first by some twenty centuries. The Bible's forecast hasn't needed revising in all those centuries -- the Global Trends Report gets revised every four years.

Each successive report trends closer to the Bible's forecast scenario, rather than away.

To a lost and dying world, this is a terrifying report. They don't know what to make of things. They don't have any answer to the question, "What is this world coming to?"

"But ye believe not, because ye are not of My sheep, as I said unto you." (John 10:26)

What is chaos and terror and confusion to the world is our evidence that all is well, that God remains on the Throne, and that everything is under His control. We can trust Him.

No matter how scary and bad and dangerous things get, we have the rest of Jesus' promise to cling to -- and the authority to share it with the lost and frightened:

"My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me: And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of My hand. My Father, which gave them Me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of My Father's hand." (John 27-29)

If the rest of the Bible is true, then so is the part about eternal life. Maranatha!

But Lori, did you really eat all of those things? Oh, my, I think the big one is about to hit me over that one.! also, Rollo, Missouri isn't very far from the New Madrid Fault that Jim Carrol has share with us. The increase in Alaska earthquakes seems to be unusual. My brothers friends in Wasilla said that the east coast has really been rumbling lately. A lot of them are residents of Wasilla but their jobs take them to the east side very often.

Did any of you wonderful people catch the market report today. Seems after Obama Sama announced his choice for the Secretary of the Treasury the market bounced back over 500 points. Now that is what I call power plays!

Jen, if I were going to ease into getting people started thinking and studying the scriptures again, and especially as it regards Eschatology, I would probably mention the bible passage that deals with the coming one world government first. It is right on the horizon and you could gather all of the links that have been posted in the past couple of weeks to vouch for it. You could ease into the subject by sharing the passage that speaks of Israel being drawn back to the Land that God gave to them, then they become a nation again and what actually happened in 1948. Then you could explain the situation of God's revealing the Jews would regain the control of Jerusalem and Zion. That they would be drawn back from all of the nations of the world and it would be as a nation that no longer served him. There are so many directions but if you are seriously going to pursue the goal of getting them to start being aware of what is going on now, you have to start with being aware of what has already been fulfilled. The best proof of God's moving is in history related to his moves. Main thing, let the Holy Spirit lead you! He knows the people you are touching better than anyone.

I have greatly missed all of you and because I didn't know what we were dealing with in regard to my computer, and because my laptop is not my favorite weapon, I kept communications with everyone down. I have truly missed you all greatly and you know what else I learned? You all are addictive! And I am not planning on checking into a clinic to get over it either.

Guinea Pig was in Peru. I have to admit, I didn't know I was eating the guinea until I flipped it over and saw the 4 little feet. (We had been at a guinea farm the day before, I thought they were pets.)

I'm Italian and grew up having 7 different kinds of fish at New Years Eve celebrations. We always had smoked eel, which has the texture of fish and the flavor of pepperoni.

Finally, on Thanksgiving all the guys would go hunting. They always bagged deer, so we had meat all winter.

Hi Grany,
Good outline on where to start
:-) The OWG is definitely easy to see happening and you don't need to be a strong Christian to see it either, so it would work well with lots of people. I also think (for those who are in the faith) that encouraging the 3rd lense view is helpful. I know so many Christians who make all their decisions based either on political affiliation or on what the stock market is doing. When you begin to filter everything through the Word, those other perspectives really fade into the background.
And I totally agree about being Spirit led in these interactions. I remember a time in college when I was sharing some advice with a friend and I felt I had really butchered my delivery and was worried I had done more harm than good. A few weeks later, she told me that my words had been like a lightbulb to her and had allowed her to finally make some decisions that she knew were needed, but hadn't been able to come to terms with. I was shocked because I thought I had likely pushed her away or offended her to the point where she wouldn't listen to anything I shared. It was an important lesson that I still recall when I'm worried about how best to say something. If my heart is striving to follow Him and serve as a vessel to pour out His love and care, then Holy Spirit will mend all the mangled words or awkward moments somewhere between my lips and their ears.

Blessings,
Jen

Great Grany 5 said...

You are so right Jen, the Holy Spirit will always know the real path to travel on and the devil will always try to throw a monkey wrench into it. In fact, scripture tells us not to worry about what we are going to say but instead be lead by the Holy Spirit.

I read some of the headlines to my hubby yesterday and the day before. It was so quiet in the dinning room (next to where I have my computer set up) so I thought he was ignoring me. I quit reading the article, the one on Bush agreeing to allow the EU to maintain control over our financial institutes, and just read to myself. Suddenly he asked me "You going to finish it?". Then he had me bring the articles up on his computer so he could do some more reading. He didn't have much to say afterward but just as we were going to bed, he made the remark that Obama has to name his new Treasury Secretary and quickly, or this country is going to spiral out of control. Then we watched Greta Van Sustern, On the Record, Fox News which comes on here at 1l p.m. Karl Rove made the same remark and it about bounced Hubby out of his chair. This after noon, Obama names his new appointee to the Treasury and the market rebounds.

He is still trying to figure that one out. But as far as I am concerned, our days shouldn't be spent agonizing about the market, politics and/or jobs. We have a mandate from our Heavenly Father's Son, to reach the world with the Gospel and I truly believe that when we keep our minds on that prize, God will take care of all our other needs and desires.

Call me old fashioned but I have seen too many wonderous things done by God and him alone, to think I have to figure it all out out. I have a friend who tells me that they only go to God in prayer when things get so bad that they can't hang on any longer. I asked them the other night why they keep insisting on making a big mess of something so trivial when God could be directing the whole show instead. They are still thinking!

Didn't seem like a lot of stories or recent stories but it struck me as odd that the site and link is all set up for alien/ufo discussion.

The woman claimed that her baby was taken from her while she was 4 1/2 months preg. No proof of child in existance (convenient). However she does say that the aliens tell her to get ready to see an increase in alein activity and be prepared to help those around her not to be scared. HMMM

I missed something. Why are people expecting the Lord this Thurs.(Thankgiving) or the following week???

Also is it just me or do you all feel time just racing by? Today I sat down in a meeting and looked at our schedule for when we get back after Thanksgiving. It will already be Dec. 1st. Where has the time gone??? Maybe it ts an urgency the Lord has laid upon me to get out there and be busy for Him because time is short.

Way to go Late Night Lisa for stepping out at your tea. I'm thinking about using Thanksgiving as a way to reach strangers as being Thankful for the Lord. I don't know I'll let the Lord lead, but definately feeling an urgency...definately feeling an urgency...

jim.carroll said...

Jenny, Shalom! Yes, I'm getting that feeling too, but for me it's not about urgency. What I've done to prepare must be sufficient for now, and now I must focus on prayer.

As for the UFO stuff, it's very interesting to me that there's been a burst of postings about UFOs on the Catholic Answers Forum site. I'm still meditating on the significance (if any) of that. And as for the New Madrid Fault, here Government warns of "catastrophic" U.S. quake is a news article referring to that.

I'm with you -- I don't know what Grany was referring to about "Some here expect him on Thursday and some expect him a week later, ..." It got me to do some thinking, which I am not too happy about, thank you very much. And you too, Lisa.

Let me back up. Last week, I sent to my family members my latest Paranoia Update. In it I included some predictions and prophecies that I've recv'd from a number of people. One was a vision/dream that involved a Presidential funeral taking place on Saturday, Dec. 13. The long and short of it was that under the 20th Amendment to the Constitution, Obama would be sworn in as President on Dec. 15. There were other predictions of disasters (that I didn't include in my letter) that would occur in December. That got me thinking of something Lisa wrote back on Nov. 11.

We were discussing Noah, the Ark, and the beginning of the Flood. Noah was in the ark 7 days before the rain started pouring for 40 days and 40 nights. She also wondered if this had anything to do with the 777-point stock market crash and Rosh Hashanah. That got me counting: The Crash was on Monday, Sept. 29. Count 7 days + 40 days starting Sept. 30, and the 47th day is Nov. 15 -- last weekend, which is also 17 Cheshvan, which is the day listed in the Bible that the flood began.

So let's count 47 days forward from Nov. 15. That's Jan. 1, 2009.

There are a lot of other dates in the Flood mentioned in Genesis that I won't go into now. In the end, IF this happened in a year that did not have a leap month (Adar II), then Noah et. al. were in the Ark for a year. In today's calendar, they went in Nov. 15 (17 Cheshvan) and came out a year later on 14 Nov. (27 Cheshvan). (I know that doesn't seem quite right but that's what the Hebrew Calendar Converter says.)

So it looks like G_D isn't going to make it easy for us to draw specific timeline parallels between today and the Ark.

Urgency? How about a husband who is suddenly spending more time in the word? I'm in shock! It's a great shock, but it's an answer to prayer. I'm so grateful. But now that he's spending more time in prayer he's making some decisions that are puzzling me. I have to submit to his decisions because I'm wondering if this is God's will for us. I may be able to explain in more detail later. But for now, we need prayer for wisdom and direction.

Also, I haven't really mentioned it much, but when all of you put requests for prayer, I do pray for you. And some of you come to mind often even when you don't mention a need. The Lord knows what we need even before we mention it.

Campsmore and others,
I will get the hang of this thing so since i am new I know no names and can't seem to connect the dots yet!
I have been praying that my dear hubby would be drawn into the word of God like never before. He only reads hunting magazines! So, that is great, Campsmore, that your husband is. It can be difficult to follow their lead at times but I have found it always ends up the best when I trust God with the whole thing.
I do feel the urgency as well. The Lord seems to have started leading me to study the end times and to know that the end is near just a few months ago. My husband did not want to hear about any of it at first but the Lord has changed his mind. He still does not really want to know all that much what is going on (I think it is because of fear)but he has actually warned one of his family members that it is near the end!
Thank you all for the warm welcome. I look forward to getting to know you all.
Latenightlisa, I should have added that when she was warning me of the "religious spirit" it was when I was warning her of all of the false prophets going around. I used scripture to point out why they are all false and warned her to study the scritpures herself to judge if she should be learning from these people. That is when she said the religious spirit could be at work and she did not want to "throw the baby out with the bathwater". I have read that phrase way to often lately from people trying to deffend the Todd Bentleys and Patricia Kings. People are going to be so easily deceived when the AC comes around with all of the signs and wonders. It is so sad and I feel an urgency about that too. I have prayed and begged the Lord to not let any of my 4 children be deceived. I teach them (the teens especially) so much more than most parents. I have already seen evidence that the Lord has gifted my 11 year old daughter with a gift of discernment.

Late Night Lisa said...

That's what they all say "Don't throw the baby out w/the bath water".

Ok so what they are really admitting is that the bath water is filthy but since there "might" be a baby in it-don't reject the whole thing.

What kind of delusional thinking is that? It's an excuse for them to continue "tickling their ears".
Who wants to reject "signs & wonders?" That far too exciting.

Well let's see? What does God say about false prophets?

Does He not say they are an abomination? Don't touch the unclean thing? We wouldn't do this now but false prophets used to be immediately killed. "What does light have to do w/darkness?" A little leaven spoils the whole loaf.

God is so Pure & Holy that He cannot not be in the presence of sin. I don't think we can fathom how much He hates sin & the deceiving spirits who have hoodwinked these false prophets.

If we are honest with ourselves & fully yielded to the "Holy" Spirit-I don't think we could stand being in the presence of a false prophet unless we want to make excuses & rationalize our behavior-which would then be quenching the Holy Spirit.

So when anyone makes that dumb bathwater statement then I don't think they know the God of the Bible. They know the "American Jesus" or one of their own creation.

Then when you point out these false prophets-the next thing is -
"You don't believe in gifts of the Spirit" You don't believe God still grants Miracles".

It is just such nonsense. The sad part is that they stop up their ears & continue to deceive themselves.

Of course you can still believe in the gifts of the Spirit & God given miracles and YET not follow/believe the false prophet.

There are three things I've always requested in prayer: Wisdom ,knowledge, discernment.

I don't know much blessing has been showered upon me in wisdom & knowledge-but discernment has been graciously & abundantly granted.

Maybe it's because it's something in our time which we really need to have in order not to be swept away by various winds of false doctrine.

False Prophets/Teachers are allowed by God to test the Church. It weeds out the people who want to seek the true God of the Bible from those who will follow God but not take the extra effort to see who He is. So they either accept the God they have been raised with traditionally or whichever style of Jesus/God comes along which they like.

I have heard that Christians (Such as myself who were deceived themselves @ some point.) have much more conviction when it comes to defending the true Word of God. We don't take it for granted because we have already been on the other side & came out of it. We know the mindset of being deceived & how hard it is to "see the light."

"Don't throw the baby out with the Bathwater" is equal to "If you eat of this fruit you will become wise & knowledgeable." Satan might as well be standing their whispering directly into your ear.

In case you can't tell this gets me a little worked up (:

Mac,

Did you ever end up reading Epicenter?

Diana,

Since your starting out on Bible Prophecy that is a good one to read. It's about Ezekiel 38/39. That's how many of us met-on Joel Rosenburg's blog. There is a newer edition "Epicenter 2.0". Here is his page Joel Rosenberg's Webblog If you sign up he will email you updates if something comes up of particular interest to Bible prophesy.

Then we get mixed up talking about the Joel's. Joel Richardson or Joel Rosenburg.

Now Joel Richardson thinks Joel Rosenburg has it wrong & that Ezekiel 38/39 Gog/Magog war is the same one in Armageddon but we don't think so. (The nations & events involved are not exactly the same.) So we just ignore that part. Joel Richardson doesn't believe "Rosh" is Russia but he's been kind of taken aback by the growling "Bear" as of lately.

Did you all see this already? Obama: 'Millions of jobs' in danger next year

Do I feel an urgency? Oh my...that is an understatement.

I cannot even begin to explain the "shift" that I feel has happened in our world over the last few months. It is not just the elections, or the economy, but is in attitudes in the world all around us. In addition to that is the one world government movement that we can see daily.

Those are just the outside things we can see. My spirit feels total urgency like never before.

Great posts. I really liked your last one Grany.

Latenightlisa,
Actually, it is funny, my whole study of end times started out with the book Epicenter! From that is where I got to Joel's trumpet books and other stuff. God just keeps leading me cause I asked Him for truth! Awsome!
Interesting that you pointed out in your post what satan used to trick Eve, "you can be like God, ect" My 11 year old and I were just discussing that and how other religions offer that too. wow.

Grany,
We all need to come to a point, to be able to say, "I need to be about my Father's business." Amen!

Diana,
Also remember that when Moses asked God His name, (in the burning bush) God told Moses to go and say, tell them, "I AM sent you."
Much of the New Age doctrine, says, "I AM" GOD.
So, when the N.T. says, "that many will come in my name, and say they are God," etc. It's happening all around us! Especially here in western WA., where I live. One of the reasons I (sometimes) read New age books, is to keep up on them. However, the deception is extremely satanic! Because these New Agers get a LOT of their material, (especially) about Faith, straight from the Bible! Confession, visialization, are all Bible concepts taken out (WAY OUT!) of context.
God had Abraham look to the sky to count the stars, and then count the sand, to understand he'd be a Father of many nations. (one illustration of visualization.) Or how about Gideon? "Thou mighty man of valour?" HA, HA! He (Gideon) was a coward when God spoke to him at the time. Etc.

Jesus defeated satan, in the wilderness, by confessing the Word of God! Christianity used to be called, The Great Confession, years ago.

Unfortunately, confession has been abused by over-the-top Charismatics, too. Confessing new Cadillacs, and what not. However, it doesn't mean confession is error.
Throwing the baby out with the bathwater :)

Just a few thoughts.

Scott Robinson's Jenny,

I am so sorry that I didn't make my remark very clear, to say the least! I got so overcome by getting my computer working again that I was in hypertexing mode. I meant that some people think we will be out of here and in the presence of Jesus Christ in one time frame and others think it will be during another period of time. Pretrib and Prewrath positions in the rapture debate. But then I got to wondering why I made it sound as if I had picked this Thursday, Thanksgiving, especially. I don't have a clue why but I do know there is a distinct difference in my Spiritual condition right now from what it was a month ago. I am still very alert, prayerfully! The battle at night isn't as intense because I have been more attentive during the day. But yes, I don't believe we will ever see the USA or the world for that matter, in the same light as before. Worldly matters are quickly becoming local matters and whether we like it or not, the players are being arranged for the grand finale and the curtain is about to go up on another act of the Once Great Nation. I don't want to feel this way and I have tried everything in my arsenal to combat it but, the atmosphere is charged with a new surge and it is not of God! I only know one thing that will change it and most people (Christians) are too lazy or too opinionated to consecrate their self to pray for God's direction in this time. That is why he set the watchmen on the walls.

I don't mean to go heavy on this and I sure don't desire to sew discord and fear into the garments of praise but this is not the time to be dancing hilariously in the streets either. Unless the Lord builds the church, those who labor in it, do so in vain.

Now I am going to say something to everyone, prophets should be shining light on God and His directives. If they are building up their own coffers then you should be very leery of them. I am not meaning that they should be non-personalities but that their words should and have to Glorify God and him only. If you gathered all of the prophetic words that have been spoken and judged them according to the standards held in the scriptures, you would soon see that most of them are hot air. Besides that, some very good men and women have uttered prophetic words that have come to pass, then when people started noticing them, they became self inflated. I keep thinking of Jeremiah and how he wept because he didn't want to be a prophet. It isn't a fun thing and is very serious business. Unless God said it and you know it, you better be careful what you allow to come out of your mouth as Thus Saith The Lord. Our likes and dislikes should have no bearing on true Holy Spirit discernment when discussing the Holy Spirit. If it is indeed from the Holy Spirit you won't be sowing any hate or false accusations in another believers life. God doesn't operate like that. He hates sin but loves the sinner.

I usually don't pick up the paper & read Opinion columns but today this lady wrote a really nasty one.(She was gloating in the fact 78% of Jewish people voted for Obama.) It's about how Evengelicals have ruined the Republican party (Christian, White & Married) & it's written with such utter distain for God & people of God-well it got me fired back up & this is what I said.

Romans 13:1 "Everyone must submit himself to the governing authorities, for there is no authority except that which God has established. The authorities that exist have been established by God."

I would like to say your "Evangelical stranglehold" piece was enlightening but
rather it is just a typically condescending opinion I would have
to admit is one with of the worldview majority.

If this were not the case the percentages which you list would be far different.

But really, don't think this Obama win came to any great surprise to the group you mock and feel are out of touch. In fact while we admit there was allot of
wishful thinking going on (We are old enough to remember the America of Old & miss it) those of us to actually do read our bibles & study prophecy thought from where we see things heading-If Obama is put into office by God then that's a great sign end time events will unfold quicker.

You see, it's the creator of the universe is who allows leaders to rise & fall. The United States of America wants their own way and now they are allowed to have it.
So the change America wants is the change America is going to get. You will see what happens when the hand of restraint is taken from this country. The majority has voiced their desires & there you have it.

Now watch how events unfold in the name of change.

If you want to know in advance-it's all in the Bible.

1 Samuel 8:6-18
But when they said, "Give us a king to lead us," this displeased Samuel; so he prayed to the LORD. 7 And the LORD told him: "Listen to all that the people are saying to you; it is not you they have rejected, but they have rejected me as their king. 8 As they have done from the day I brought them up out of Egypt until this day, forsaking me and serving other gods, so they are doing to you. 9 Now listen to them; but warn them solemnly and let them know what the king who will reign over them will do."
10 Samuel told all the words of the LORD to the people who were asking him for a king. 11 He said, "This is what the king who will reign over you will do: He will take your sons and make them serve with his chariots and horses, and they will run in front of his chariots. 12 Some he will assign to be commanders of thousands and commanders of fifties, and others to plow his ground and reap his harvest, and still others to make weapons of war and equipment for his chariots. 13 He will take your daughters to be perfumers and cooks and bakers. 14 He will take the best of your fields and vineyards and olive groves and give them to his attendants. 15 He will take a tenth of your grain and of your vintage and give it to his officials and attendants. 16 Your menservants and maidservants and the best of your cattle [b] and donkeys he will take for his own use. 17 He will take a tenth of your flocks, and you yourselves will become his slaves. 18 When that day comes, you will cry out for relief from the king you have chosen, and the LORD will not answer you in that day."

Thanks Grany for the clarification. I thought I missed something BIG from you.

Jim carroll thanks for the info. on dreams and Noah I always find that kind of info. extremely useful.

I guess some of my urgency push is coming from O pushing his agenda through at break-neck speed. I don't remember any other pres.-elect getting all his ducks in order so quickly. Maybe it was because I never really payed attention before as I do now. That is what the beauty of this whole thing is....I guess. This urgency has lit a fire under my otherwise slow moving evangelizing self in the last two years like no other period in my Christian walk. It is very exciting on one hand and completely freaks me out on the other. But then for me that is my Litmans test from God-that awe of fear and joy all wrapped up together. Our Lord Almighty is on the Throne and in control. All these things must work together in order for His return to come forth. This tired and broken ole' earth and it's people so desperately need Him.

Late Night Lisa,
I received an e-mail yesterday telling of all these retail stores that will close shortly or have many of their stores close. It also wartned not to buy Christmas gift cards from them(big chains like Loews, JC Pennys, Talbots, etc.). What hat is O gonna pull a rabbit out of to come up with thousands of jobs for the people who are about to loose theirs....I wonder? That honeymoon period with him is about to come to a crashing halt.

Now totally unrelated...I need to go find out the time of kick-off for the game between Tech and OU . I graduated from Texas Tech so we will rein supreme....sorry Grany. At least that is one American tradition that is still strong and fun for the time being and I will go take full advantage of it while I can. Of course, being the obnoxious Texas football people we are, all my students get a homework pass if Tech wins. Now you know who they will be rooting for today:)

No matter who wins on the field today, we are secure in knowing we are on the winning side. I pray we all have a hand in winning one for Christ this week. I urgently pray for all of us to be able to do just that!

IMO, the American Church is, by and large, alseep. Much like the frog droped into the large pot of water, and it gradually coming to a boil. Another extremely effective ploy of the enemy of our souls.

Donna,
I couldn't agree more with you! Also, IMO there are very few true Prophets in the land with a true Word from God. David Wilkerson comes to mind, as one of them. The late Kenneth E. Hagin, certainly was a true Prophet of God, too. I'm sure there are others, that I haven't heard of, too. But one thing I do know. Most are false Prophets, also IMO. And they are spouting their own opinions and agendas, as Grany inferred. Beware.

Jenny, you go right ahead and cheer on Tech. I am a transplant from Iowa and Arkansas so I I don't get in a heat over OU. I much prefer the Razorbacks any day!

But you said something that suddenly clicked in me! Obama is pursuing this cabinet appointment with a vigor and drive I have never seen before in a President-elect. Not even in WW2's cabinet but FDR knew who he wanted in each position because he was a returning president and had his cabinet in place at the time. With some minor changes he was set to go. But this with Obama is entirely new generated urgency.

A long time ago, while I was still in high school, my grandfather was sharing some of the things that he had observed during his life as a believer and as a citizen of the USA. He shared with all of us that when our prayers are not moving the outcome of events or persons, then we have to turn it over to God's supreme sovereignty because he has something else far more important to accomplish. It isn't that God didn't hear our prayers and petitions, because he does; it is just not the divine will of God for a change to take place at the time.

My point, if the urging of the Holy Spirit calling us to prayer is truly God telling us to prepare for war, then don't you suppose God is the one causing Obama to get with it also? I mean, after all, to accomplish a goal together, the Holy Spirit would not just call one or two individuals and leave everyone else out in the streets partying, would he? I think we will serve God's purpose more by praying and truly submitting to seeking God's protection and guidance for our new and soon to be president. The elections are over and it is time to commit to the task at hand. That goes for the whole world and their leaders. Something is changing and it is isn't only in the USA either.

By the Jim C. I didn't realize that so many people had the same type of dream of a funeral procession involving a governing personality, prior to the election. But there are a whole lot of different interpretations regarding it. I don't know anything about the amendment you spoke about but nothing is going to surprise me from now on. I am still trying to convince my hubby that we need to have reserves on hand in case of a fragment of our worst "what ifs" should happen. He thinks we are all being silly! Of course, time will tell but I am a real Girl Scout at heart and I still have the control of the kitchen and pantry.

I hope all of you who have children, no matter how small, can just love them and cherish the time you have with them. I know it isn't all love and peace raising children and trying to make ends meet in this day and age but just know this, what you teach them now by your life and your words, will last them all of their life, be passed on to their children and it is your legacy! God has a purpose and sometimes it is hard to remember that.

JIB, remember that God's word tells us that His word will not return to Him void and will accomplish what it was sent for. You are just the postman, so to speak. Anyway, keep warning because when times start going in the opposite direction, things you have shared will be brought to remembrance and it is those things that will accomplish God's desired purpose.

Kinda like a person told me the other day, it takes time to grow a tree and it takes time to convince people that God made the tree to begin with. Then when the tree is destroyed they look to heaven and ask "Why, God, Why?". I have guilty of doing the same thing but related to different subjects not turning out like I wanted and I always ask God why!

Sometimes people don't want to hear what you are saying because they are afraid you could be right and they could be wrong and that causes them to fear their opinion.

Stay the course my friend and you have to report what you are shown or pay the price for not warning.

Love and blessings,

O.K., end of third quarter and we have definately been out-played. My hat is off to OU. That was somewhat painful to say. I have two nieces that go to OU. It's going to be a long Thanksgiving and one heafty dish of crow. As for my students...I'll have to rework the prize into a teachable moment.... as to having a Christ-like attitude toward one another in good sportmanship and then therefore we are all winners in Christ. Then I'll open up the floor for a little discussion and see if we can water or plant any Holy Seeds:) Homework Passes for everyone anyway...you know a homework pass is gold!!!!(If Tech would of won, I would of given them two)

I agree with Grany about praying for our leaders. In fact we are directed to in the Bible. Romans 13:1-7 has a lot to say on this subject. Scott showed me a great little Bible study that went along with it on www.biblegateway.com if anyone is interested. It's a great read to straighten out negative thought patterns. Doesn't mean you have to love the guy but it helps you tolerate him. For me, anytime I can truly pray for someone I don't respect they move from that "no-respect" column to the "forgive them father for they don't know what they do" column. Of course, I have to repent and ask for growth for myself first. I believe O's scales must be very thick! What if O was to wake up and see how he really is being pawned and played and realized there was only ONE true way to the Lord(and he accepted it)? Remember Paul's story? Nothing is too difficult for the Lord. There are still plenty of administration left that can serve as pretty big stumbling blocks for their agenda- if God so desires.

Which leads me back to being confused about how to specifically pray for our country's future. That is when the Holy Spirit reminds me simply to pray for God's will....just like in the Lord's Prayer. I'll focus prayer on his girls right now. If they came to the Lord wouldn't that beat all?? That possiblity just made my heart sing.

I'll leave you all with that thought. Have a blessed Sunday. I pray that all our pastors will be couragous and step out on a limb with our Savior tomorrow.

JIB,

Don't be disheartened. In this crazy world, I'd take some opposition as a compliment. We are not of this world nor are we to be conformed by it. According to thier reaction-you are not. God's prompting and words by His servants never return void. I agree with Grany.

If He gives us a message to say or prompts us to strike up a conversation I feel our job is to obey and do just that. Then God uses that to work in the heart of man-softening it or molding it. That is not our job nor can we look in their and figure it out. One of our jobs is to remain ready and close to the Lord in our relationship with Him. Therefore we are able to recognize His prompting and go for those moments.

Keep on keeping on. For the Glory is His.

The fact that my oldest is 14 and youngest 3 makes me realize just how quickly it all goes. I think that I may end up spoiling the youngest! He is my baby.
I have to,daily, remind myself that the Lord has them all here in this time in history for a reason. I do become fearful for them for what is to come. I pray for them, but not enough. I teach them the word, but not as much as I could be. They are all wonderful children and i can see God's hand on each of them.

Not everything is a bed of roses but now I can look back at some of the things my kids did when they were exploring life and I can't help but chuckle. But spoiling the baby is par for the course. Still, I always ask is loving them to the max considered spoiling them in everyday thinking? I really spoil my Great grand children and they love it. Can't help it! Gives me great joy and warm snugly feelings that we all need.

Grany,

Good article. Our sermon today was partly about this: "There will have to be a falling away, a rebellion against the truth. This is when the believers in name only will be drawn out of the true Church into one of the various apostate movements we see springing up in our midst."

Our pastor said today: "You are going to be hated. If you can't accept that fact then you might as well get up & leave right now."

He went into how the world is setting up the negative spin on "Fundementalist Christians" then onto what's happening re: the gay community & the Churches who are turning into apostate heritics ignoring scripture & embracing them "as is" into their Churches.

This was based on Rev 2. The church of Pergamos & Thyatria.

Then he hit home w/this scripture today : Romans 1:32 "who, knowing the righteous judgment of God, that those who practice such things are deserving of death, not only do the same but also approve of those who practice them."

So what would this say of a Christian voting for Obama? Would this action lead someone to believe they are in agreement & approval with his stance on abortion?

Lisa, Shalom! Interesting sermon, and interesting question at the end, too. You may find it interesting to peruse the Politics 2008 forum over at Catholic Answers Forum. You'll find this very topic being discussed in a variety of ways. one thread that's falling towards the bottom of the first page (you may have to go to the second page to find it) is declaring that judges would excommunicate themselves if they rule pro-choice - contempt of court?. The topic being discussed is the possibility that American bishops will rule that if Catholic judges rule in favor of pro-choice issues, they have automatically excommunicated themselves from the Catholic Church. Does this constitute interference with the judicial process, or is this where the Church must establish and enforce standards of behavior and consequences?

Procuring [by paying for or providing personal transportation to], providing [by failing to prohibit by law] or participating in an abortion [including nursing at or administrating a place where abortions are performed, regardless of what other services are provided] is a "latae sententiae" offense, i.e., committing the offense automatically imposes the sentence, the sentence in this case is excommunication.

Here we have the perfect example of what your minister was talking about. There is the case of the priest who informed his parish that if you are Catholic and voted for Obama, you should go to confession (be reconciled with G_D) before receiving Holy Communion. The reason behind this is because Obama is such a strong supporter of abortion on demand and has promised to sign the FOCA ("Freedom Of Choice Act", which removes any and all barriers and limitations on abortion in America) that voting for him may mean providing support for abortion -- a grave sin. Immediately people started shouting that this was wrong, that he couldn't just deny communion based on his own whims, that you can be pro-choice and Catholic at the same time -- in short, this was the first step in the Catholic Church's plan to force it's own religion on the American people.

Never mind that this priest was providing spiritual guidence to his parish, which is what priests are supposed to do; never mind that he never said he would deny communion to anyone, just that they should examine their conscience, etc. before receiving Holy Communion (again, spiritual guidence), never mind that the bishops of America have stated on several occasions that you CANNOT be Catholic AND pro-choice at the same time. People have begun to believe that you can call yourself whatever you want with no concern for the meanings of the words. Evil is good, and dark is light.

The Catholic Church has for two thousand years held that homosexual men and women cannot have authentic calls to serve Christ as priests or sisters. The rules on that were recently repeated and emphasized as a reaction to the child abuse scandal, and were re-written to PROTECT children in the future. Yet now, in Brazil, the Brazilian professional association that regulates and licenses psychologists has stated that any psychologist that helps the Church make a determination whether or not an applicant to the priesthood is homosexual will lose their license, since that would mean treating homosexuality as a disordered condition. This same set of standards is about to be established in America.

Today is the Feast of Christ the King. This is a fairly new feast and it falls on the very last Sunday of the Church Year (next Sunday is the First Sunday of Advent). It was created in 1925 as a reaction to the events in Europe the previous two decades. By 1900, almost every monarchy in Europe had been overthrown and replaced with admittedly anti-religious democracies. (In Mexico at the time, they were shooting priests in the streets.) This feast and the associated Gospel reading -- separating the sheep and the goats -- is to remind us all that JESUS CHRIST IS LORD OVER ALL! Oh, G_D, help us to remember that.

"The Bridge - How Far Would You Go?"

I let my flesh redirect me away from posting the news.

The fear, real or perceived, paralyzed me from doing the news.

Fear is doubt, doubt is sin. Hence the apology.

After I quit, I received so many emails and phone calls.

Many people told me that they were forwarding the news to so many others. I didn't realize how far reaching these links went.

People are waking up. Some headlines were mentioned in the pulpit from someone who forwarded them.

Anyway, the news is getting into the right hands. The church is awakening from their slumber. Keep blowing the horn, keep the watchmen awake.

I also do an email flash. It's growing quickly. The latest request to be included in the list, came from a postal worker in facility management. (It's the same list I post here)

Isaiah 26:19 NIV
But your dead will live; their bodies will rise. You who dwell in the dust, wake up and shout for joy. Your dew is like the dew of the morning; the earth will give birth to her dead.

Romans 13:11 (Amplified Bible)Besides this you know what [a critical] hour this is, how it is high time now for you to wake up out of your sleep (rouse to reality). For salvation (final deliverance) is nearer to us now than when we first believed (adhered to, trusted in, and relied on Christ, the Messiah).

'To get something you never had, you have to do something you never did.' When God takes something from your grasp, He's not punishing you, but merely opening your hands to receive something better. Concentrate on this sentence... 'The will of God will never take you where the Grace of God will not protect you.'

The same girl who raises her hands to the sky & eats guinea pigs & intestines-Fear?

Now that's an oxymoron.

My dear sister in Christ-that nasty old serpent has been whispering in your ear.

That really makes me mad (at the devil) & just for that I'm going to turn that energy into boldness for Christ.

Apparently from the reaction you have received you are right in step w/God's will on the matter. Maybe you also questioned that & He wanted to show to you that He's pleased w/your efforts sounding the alarm. Now you have tangible proof.

I was going to post this last night but got distracted:
Standing against the King

I can see how posting all these topics on a daily basis could start freaking one out. The same news day after day...

Let's counteract that with God's awesome promises to us. We have to keep our eyes up-On the Kingdom & His righteousness.

We are overcomes "In Christ." I wonder if in the Millennial reign of Christ they will tell stories of how a faithful remnant in the end times held fast, sounded the alarm, & overcame the wickedness of their day.

Would what this time be called? "As in the days of.....?"

Is there a turkey in your icebox, with its legs spread in the air?
Yes, it lies all white and wrinkled but does anybody care?
It used to strut across the barnyard, before each gobble, pecked at corn.
Is there anybody out there? Anyone who feels forlorn?

Before its born we've sealed its fate.
Does it know it's going to die before November 28th?
This Thanksgiving as you sit down, bow your head and say a word.
Don't just say, "I'll take the white meat." Say, "I'm sorry," to the bird.

Lori;

Just a comment before bed: That reminds me of a cartoon I saw a few years back. A few of the turkeys were standing in the barnyard all looking at their PDAs, and one of them was saying, "Why, yes, I'm free after the 28th too!"

Jim G, Marge,

I was really hoping the Seahawks would take Holgrem all the way to the Superbowl - this being his last season with them. But alas, it doesn't look like that is going to happen! (I follow pro football mostly.)

Lisa,

I see the biggest falling away occurring when AC is revealed - when he says worship me or die. If the rapture has not occurred yet as is my understanding, it will be massive. We are told his reign and influence will be world wide in Revelation. I take that at face value so I see America with so many "churches" as representing a big part of that falling away. It will really show who are God's chosen since nothing will separate us from His love.

Jim C.

What we are contending with now just shows how far we have deviated from the laws & statues of God (Which we are finding out were taken for granted)in our society as a whole.

I just look back 40yrs ago when I was a kid & compare it to now. It's quite a drastic change for the worse. Being a judge back then wouldn't have been as difficult as it is right now.

Most of the liberal judges sure push their "agenda" whenever possible. This has assisted the speed of which our society has embraced this Anti-Christ world view. THEY certainly don't play by the rules and try to remain objective.

There is no such thing as "Pro-Choice" when the baby has none.

It seems more like an excuse remove yourself from blood saying to give them a choice to do the right thing-but if they don't well-that's their problem w/God. My hands are washed clean. They had a choice & made the wrong one.

While we will all have to stand before the Judgment of Christ & are individually responsible for our actions-are we not also responsible in our thoughts/words/deeds in how other's decisions may be impacted by our own attitudes & who we support? If we are truly "Christ"-tian then we are suppose to represent "Christ."

It seems to me our approval of others who support an Anti-Christian worldview is a sign of spiritual sickness. If one is "not of this world" then surely we would find ourselves against what the world perceives as acceptable.
Especially now.

Who is going to stand apart & proclaim God's Truth in the midst of adversity?

So here is where the falling away is happening @ warp speed. It's a heart issue with God. Do you REALLY Love him with all your heart, soul,& mind? Enough to make a stand when everyone around you is on the broad road to destruction? Even if you were the only person standing for God's truth on earth?

Are you willing to warn & then leave your Church if the Shepard’s fall away? Is it the Church, Pastor, or Social interaction you’re really drawn to? Have you yielded to the Holy Spirit and have been drawn into a intimate & personal relationship with Christ? You have to know Christ in order to represent Him.

So it really boils down to one's spiritual health. Which is the most important relationship?

The relationship w/the world? the Church? other people? pastor/priest? comfort of tradition/familiarity? etc...

Has your relationship been built upon the firm foundation of Jesus Christ only?

We all hear of the Whore in Babylon the Great. A religious "system" that departs from the true word of God and marries the worldview & economic system. It appears as if we are in the process of witnessing the formation of this entity.

So within each domination things are going nuts. Lines are being drawn & stands are being made. Is it going to be a compromised worldview? or a Biblical view?

We already know from scripture that most will take the broad worldview path & follow the Whore.

Jesus says "Come out of her my people"...

If someday you find yourself where the majority of the Church is heading-then you've chosen the wrong path.

Jesus asks us "Will I find faith on earth?" As in the days of Noah-very few were saved. As in the days of Lot-very few were saved.

The general spiritual health of society was terminal & infected those who lived in it.

Hey guys,

Have you been watching Russia? Not real happy with their chess playing as of late. They have their hand in everyone else's business who is surrounding Israel (on all sides) and now US.

http://voanews.com/english/2008-11-23-voa29.cfm

Of course, they also have something going on with Cuba. There are two great friends of the US-Chavez in Ven. and Cuba.

There are several prophetic dreams floating around out there about Russia and N. Korea having a secret pack to attack the US.....we shall see.

Sometimes waiting in this impregnated air for the first match to be thrown on this tinder box is intolerable. On the other hand I know with certainty that God's timing is impecable and my timing stinks greatly. Plus I don't mean to imply that I'm wishing for doom. I'm wishing for the wedding celebration to begin....as any bride would:)

Don't forget to pray for spiritual protection for your family and this blog family- daily. We felt great spiritual attack over the week-end as we were preparing for a Sunday school Plan of Salvation call out for our 1-4th graders, yesterday. It starts out over stupid stuff and then pride rears its ugly head..... and then there you go. You know the prince of deception and confusion knows his time is short. I'm sure he was working on Campsmore and not to mention others here on the blog.

Stay prayed up. You are doing a mighty work, even if you don't know it sometimes.

Fighting the good fight,
Jenny

well at least I now know what a widget is

random scattered thoughts-a really long post

1-The Supremes have decided to hear or at least consult on a specific case about the ability of McCain and BHO as natural born citizens to be POTUS. a bill was passed in April to protect McCain. expect BHO to use also

so on the off chance that BHO is denied the office of POTUS-what are the chances he could be offered Secretary General of the UN? Keep in mind he is very popular around the world-everyone wants him to be POTUS, he would have been ruled at that point NOT a natural born citizen of the US and in fact one could make the case he is an illegal alien and deport him so it could be their way of "getting back" at the US. yup it's a little far fetched but interesting speculation.

2-I think the falling away has begun in earnest now. It began quite a long time ago though. The whole social gospel thing isn't a new thing it was the reason the fundementalists so to speak came into being in the first place. Around the turn of the 20th century through the depression and just after the social gospel was in it's hey day-the social concerns of their day such as food and shelter were paramount and the actual preaching of the gospel took second place because after all one couldn't expect folks to see Christ's love on an empty stomach and freezing to death. Well that would have been great except that they never quite got around to actually preaching Christ and then modern thought started creeping in such that folks didn't think the Bible was inspired, started denying the trinity, the virgin birth and other fundamental truths. We are starting a new cycle now with the emergent church which has come out of the fundamental groups. Things like global warming, world hunger and poverty are the new social gospel issues. While certainly I do agree that we are to be compassionate and help the less fortunate I don't think it's wrong to place strings on that help so to speak like the soup kitchens of old or some of the pregnancy resource centers of today which is you have to attend Bible study or similar. Our social efforts must be linked to the preaching of Christ. Just as not all main stream denominational churches have strayed so to not all emergent churches have or will stray but when one of the leaders of the group starts saying that one can be gay, lesbian or transgendered and still practice their faith and be welcomed into churches unrepentant I think we should be further questioning the emergent church. Lisa that verse from Romans your pastor mentioned really hits home with this. My undergrad school is inching it's way down the path slowly but surely. In fact the vice president of student life, a classmate I'm sad to say in the same graduating class, thought it would be a good thing to have Soulforce a "christian" glbt group speak on the campus by invitation instead of how they usually come. I suspect that has to do with the fact that at least one of the leaders of the group was quite a popular student at the time we both were there. Come to find out we apparently have a non affiliated gay alumni group. The comments on the site not from the members themselves but from other graduates I remember from my time there were just heartbreaking. They all have bought into the lie hook line and sinker. I think we will be seeing apostasy running amok very soon and I think our biggest enemies will not be the unsaved but those who claim to be christians.

3-Regarding the AC

Lisa mentioned awhile back the verse in Daniel about the AC not being gay but perhaps just an abortion supporter. It may be just much simpler than that. The recent link Grany provided to Jack Kelly makes the point that the AC will deny the God of his fathers, the desire of women and in short only really care about himself-in other words he'll have really high scores on the narcissistic portions of the MMI test. Kelly quite simply states that the Messiah was called the desire of women because they all wanted to be his mother so the AC will not only reject the god of his fathers but also Christ. I used the small "g" the second time because if one accepts Kelly's reasoning since God and Christ are one entity the god of his fathers would have to be someone other than God unless the AC does turn out to be Jewish because all other god's are not THE GOD.

Kelly also makes mention that the AC would have to come from a country of the Roman empire at that time because apparently the actual prophecy about the prince of the people who would come states that he would be "of the people who would destroy both the temple and the city" two events both done by the Romans but several decades apart. He does acknowledge both limbs of the roman empire, discounts the assyrian AC theory since they didn't exist as a distinct nation at that time but had been absorbed into the roman empire (this part of his argument for me is a little weak because I would bet if you had asked the folks of the 10th legion what they were one has to wonder if they would have said Roman or Assyrian off the record so to speak plus the Assyrians are mentioned as inheritors with Israel I believe in the book of Revelation and they still are not a distinct nation today), and then gets confusing with the whole the prophecy can not be extended to America, Canada, Australia or NZ as birthplaces of the AC because that would water down the prophecy too much but that anyone of English ancestry could certainly be a candidate because England was around-huh? while certainly most Americans and Australians would not consider themselves English at this time both countries are rather extensively populated with folks of English descent.

and on a final note my archeology bible fell open to the notes on Jeremiah and they were quite fascinating.

"Yet the prophet's message, with it's focus on judgment was consistently rejected by the people. Despite Josiah's attempts to turn Judah back to God, the people were obstinate and complacent, fully meriting the sentence that would befall them." I think one could almost substitute "church" for Judah and see the writing on the wall.

jib said...

recommendations as the book of Jeremiah is read

1-look for self revelations and his deep love of God and his people. He continued to pray for his people despite being told by God not to bother

2-what personal sacrifices did Jeremiah have to make to stand for God

3-"Look for the ever-present juxtaposition of judgment with the invitation to repentance, which, is sincere, might have been expected to postpone the otherwise inevitable"

jib said...

which leads me back to our recent election

since BHO was elected and since apparently a number who would count themselves as evangelical Christians voted for him and since in other states measures on stem cell research etc passed instead of failing-apparently there are not enough actual righteous people in this nation to stay any hand of judgment by God on us

JIB, or another else. It is Time for the Church Age to draw to a close, Suddenly! In praying and listening to what the Holy Spirit is leading me to, I feel this Age is maxed out and there is one more move of God before we are called to "Come up here". We have a few things to do before we go and that it seems is paramount to the urging going on in believers of all denominations. None shall be lost that has been called out. Jesus said that no one can snatch us out of his Father's hands and he will complete in us the work that has begun by the Holy Spirit. We have much to be thankful for but we still have a bunch of folks to get into the ark.

Lisa, I believe that Lot and his family along with Noah and his group, were examples for the Jewish people and reflection of God's mercy and grace for the Church Age. What Jesus sealed no man can destroy and that relationship will become very real if it isn't already. And you know that there is no need to give place to fear; fear is just the opposite of faith as you also know. As the Holy Spirit leads all of us, we become encouraged by the results we see when we listen and obey.

Most of my life I have seen people who were believers in word only, fall away from the Gospel and soon go back to the life they once lived. That is why the scriptures tell us about the fruit trees production. There is a passage in the old testament that said the figs were too rotten to eat and God was talking about the Israelites. But when someone is truly Born Again by Spirit, the Holy Spirit never stops wooing them. I know! I was one of them and believe me, the loving and drawing of the slick and sliden ones is very intense. It makes you weep because of your departure from the truth and the presence of the Lord and is so profound that there is nothing else to do but run back to the shelter of God's arms. You know that too and then it seems we get feet clad with Iron or concrete which ever we need the most to keep us in place.

I do know that during my sabbatical from God's presence believers were saying very little to me and I needed the words that came from my friend's lips "Wilma, why are you angry with God? He didn't do any of these things to you!" Oh, she touched on my heart like no one else could because it came from the Holy Spirit to her to me. It is so easy to get judgmental when dealing with someone who has fallen away from the pursuit of God but they need to have someone share the love of Abba with them in all sincerity. Most of them only need to plug back in to the fellowship with true believers where the Bible is preached in all truth and power.

Now I have to share with you a personal note. The father of my daughter and son, Spanky, left this earth to ascend to his heavenly abode in the spirit, this morning at 4:30 a.m. He had suddenly taken a back set that caused his lungs to build up fluid and was admitted back into the local hospital in Missouri on Friday. My daughter and hubby are on their way to Missouri as I type this and it is hard to let go when you have been a daddy's girl all of your life. Her brother, who lives in the little town he was born in, is taking it very hard too. This could be the occasion of the only one remaining still not saved. My grandson, Jeramey. He was very close to his grandfather and does have a tender heart. I would truly cherish all of your prayers for them to deal with any and all situations in the atmosphere of Jesus Christ.

I am getting a head start on fixing all of the trimmings for Thanksgiving so I had better get with the program. I also feel very sad in lots of ways because I know my children are weeping at their loss. Seems strange not having anyone to supervise my progress.

In this book:
"Sons of God & The Antichrist"
by Former Satanist Bill Schnoebelen

I think he proposes this:

"Research is also going forward to make human DNA into a viral substance so humans can be implanted through vaccinations!"

But wouldn't that be something? What if the "mark" was "foreign" DNA? You can't buy or sell unless you have joined w/the Anti-Christ & had some type of DNA injection.
This would make some sense to the fact that if you went so far as to change your DNA structure that you become "marked"-permanently.
There is no turning back.

This is going way out there-Sci-Fi stuff but a concept I had never thought of. The Veri-chip seems more plausible right now.

Here is another book-I think it turns out to be more pro-biotechnolgy:
What if you could be smarter, stronger, and have a better memory just by taking a pill? What if we could alter our genes to cure Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s? What if we could halt or even reverse the human aging process? What if we could communicate with each other simply by thinking about it? These questions were once the stuff of science fiction. Today, advances in biotechnology have shown that they’re plausible, even likely to be accomplished in the near future.
