I have been experiencing serious computer problems recently and I was unable to even use my desktop unit for quite a few days now. I dislike my laptop because the keys are squashed together and I am used to my hunker keyboard with all of the gizmoes on it. My tech told me to forget the old keyboard because some of the keys are useless. Now that is like getting rid of my seasoned sneakers. I have had it since the days of Noah began so I guess we will part company.
I have been reading the links Campsmore has posted and it just gives me the willies thinking about what is ahead of us. My hair doesn't have to be teased or back combed anymore and there is no amount of hair spray possible to hold it down. In other words, something big is going to happen and we all know it.
I read the article that GT posted by Jack Kelly and it gave witness to JIB's comments on the previous post. I am still praying for God's will in BOO's regard and the leaders of this country because that is what the scriptures tell us to do. But praying for the nation isn't mentioned in the Bible and that is a very good point. My prayers are for Jerusalem and their peace.
What I am trying to say is, best for me to pray according to what thus saith the Lord than flapping my arms at every little fly in the ointment. We are living in the times that God has jurisdiction over and we should be doing it He has directed us to.
I am going to close but just wanted to announce I am alive for another day.

Yes, we are to pray for kings, and all that are in authority. 1 Tim. 2: 2. Verse 4 goes on to say:
"Who would have all men to be saved, and come to the knowledge of the truth."
That would mean President Obama, too :)

I couldn't resist sending you the testimony of the four-year-old girl in the photo above. She lives in Rwanda, East Africa, and her name is Ornella. The testimony that follows is from Justin Nkundabagenzi, with whom we partner for manufacturing biosand water filters for the poor. Justin is also a church planter. A couple of weeks ago, he wrote to Heaven's Family International director, Chuck King, who has worked in Africa with Justin. Here is his first report:
Dear Chuck,
Love and greetings. I am happy to let you know that our church house is doing quite well, I must tell you that God has moved in our midst like never before. A case in point is where recently, a certain lady who is a member of our church lost her child meaning that the child diied, and was brought to us for prayer. I was not present and my wife took the dead child into her arms and prayed so intensively for more than an hour and then began thanking the Lord for the healing just in faith, then suddnely the child resurrected. Then followed wild excitement from the mother and other fellow believers as tears were in plenty while the testimony became the source of overwhelming joy for many who learn't about it.
Let us keep praying for each other for the strengthening of God's Kingdom.

Warm greetings in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ!
Now as for the details on how the child was resurrected, actually as I told you before, I was not around. I was on a trip to Burundi, and a neighbor of mine who happens to be a member of our church came to my house in tears seeking at least to share her grief and possibly be assisted in the funeral or whatever.
As this lady describes it, she said she woke up around 3 a.m when she heard her daughter Ornella 4 years of age breathing very difficultly. She was worried and she stood up and took the child in her arms. As soon as she took her in her arms, the child ceased every movement, she lost grip, the head was falling in all directions on her loose neck, the eyes were staring without any expression just like a doll's.
The mother came accompanied by another church member, both in tears. The child was apparently dead since the body was so cold, no breathing, no any sign of life. They knocked on our door, and after some moments my wife went to open for them.
She immediately took the body from them, as they were crying and screaming, she laid it down on the ground and started to pray. She says she was so caught in prayer that she lost the notion of time and prayed for more than one an hour. She then felt like she has to urge everybody to start thanking the Lord. As they started doing so the child came back to life immediately opening very wide her eyes in a such a frightening way; says my wife.
And the body that was extremely cold before became very hot; hotter than the normal body temperature; it was amazing.
The child started crying and her mum was the more in tears but this time the tears were of joy and gratitude to the Lord. My wife asked her to take the child to see a doctor for further investigations on the health state of the child. That very morning she took the child to the clinic. They have done every kind of test but couldn't find anything! The doctor declared to the lady and said "Madame, your child is in perfect health you shouldn't worry!"
And that was the story. The child is now very well without any complaint. The mother is so thankful. Last time she gave her testimony in the house church. She was again in tears as she was relating the facts.
That is the miracle we have lived here. It just reminds us Jesus is the same yesterday, today and for ever.

Some days I just go back and try to find all the ones I missed, but this group moves so fast, it's hard to keep up unless you have plenty of time!
Let's pray for the journalists who are imprisoned in N. Korea. That can't be good! The only hope they have, secularly, is that N. Korea wants to use them for political pawns, so they won't actually see the inside of the prison camp. A journalist said earlier that, if they saw it, the N. Koreans will never let them out to tell how horrible it really is. I know there is suppose to be a large underground church there. Pray they will come in contact with them and they will learn about and receive salvation!

We have been visited in our church by a pastor from Africa who says he has prayed for dead people and they have come back to life. I told my husband, "I know this is a great miracle, but if I die, I am going to be with the Lord! Don't bring me back!"

I agree Christine...what I wind up doing is skimming over a lot of the posts that i personally am not all that interested in.
I am interested in current events as it pertains to Bible prophecy, obviously and the fellowship that goes along with that. And I am interested in how folks here are doing.

Lisa, Shalom! That bit about the Japanese factory farm actually makes pretty good sense to me. Given the limited amount of grow-able farmland in Japan, they've found a very ingenious way of increasing what they can grow in a small space. The article didn't say how many acres of crops were being grown in that location, but I imagine it's at least 100 times the amount of physical land the plant (no pun intended) occupies.
Lori, if you try that email today, it should get through. The usual reason "recipient domains" reject emails is spam: it probably was hit with a lot of spam from a gmail account, and so just started rejecting EVERYTHING from gmail.com. These bans usually last at least 24 but no more than 72 hours. If you try it now it should get through.

I'll tell you what REALLY bugs me: I've got CNN Headline News (HLN) running in the background. They just had a story about the funerals for the soldiers that were killed last week at a recruiting center. The only thing they said was that the suspect "had a grudge against the military." NOTHING about how that suspect is a convert to Islam who attacked the soldiers because the military "is killing Muslims."

The day is racing far too fast for me today and I am of the notion to just lay back and let it happen without a lot of input. Hubby got up saying how tired he was and after a long sleep. I was up bright and early getting things ready for Freddie the Tiger but I got a pooped out roster instead. He told me it just seemed of no great purpose to get up out of a wonderful bed to putter around and make no progress doing nothing.

I call that escapism pure and simple. We have mountains to climb, oceans to cross and the trip to the mailbox if I can find my shoes.
All kidding aside, this is an exciting time to be alive and on the face of the earth. God is moving greatly and there is much activity in the heavenlies for all of us. After reading Jack Kelly's remarks here I took my bible in hand and spent a great deal of time just searching and studying prayer as God sees it. What a great topic that one is. Then I progressed to John 17 and I am still there. That is some very powerful teaching regarding our relationship with God through his son, Jesus. I have studied it in previous years but it seems that this time it is so much clearer and powerful. The request by Jesus to Abba for our relationship with him. But I have to get back to my reading before I get sleepy.

I went back and reread JOhn 17 and you know what I noticed? It reminds me of a geometry proof. Stating all the given points and then proving a conclusion.
I wonder if a brilliant mathematician were to apply algebraic terms, variables as it were to the individual words; i.e. God represented by a, Son represented by b, glorify by c ...
You could have a formula in the first verse... "glorify thy son, so that thy son may glorify you."

Anyway, that's just how my brain perceived this verse, very mathematical.

Now I can't believe it. Ok-I believe it-but-I'm speechless.
Last night I was doing my usual-whatever it is research & responding as an Online Missionary. (to a lady from Greece)Then right before I go to bed I always try to read some of the Bible. I just go "random" & open it & read wherever it lands or whatever book happens to stand out that night.
I don't recall how or why but I ended up reading all of John 17!!
Not only that (although I've read it before) my spiritual eyes went into overdrive & I ended up going to bed crying after I read it.
I even woke up thinking about the experience.
The best way to explain it is that I could feel the Love Jesus has for us & my heart broke for my friends/people/nations of this world who have not a clue who Jesus is & what they are rejecting.
Also more of the realization that we all go through a "test" of sorts and very few make it to Jesus.
(I'm also understanding more of the concept of how our sin nature gives birth to sin & how that separates us from God. Not halted it will eventually lead us astray & we'll also end up deceiving ourselves. Pride seems to be one of if not the main culprit. We have to continually nip every thought not captive to Christ in the bud.)

Donna, I do like to read all of the posts, but don't always get to all of the links. I try to! But not always! I am interested in the UFO phenomena, not because I think they are out of space extra terrestrials, but because I believe they are demonic. As the apocalypse (defined as the veil between the natural and supernatural disappearing) nears, I am sure we will be seeing and maybe coming in contact with some of the demonic entities who desire to rule and reign with their fallen leader for their short time. I believe that, knowing the time is nearing, we should be on our toes fasting,praying and digging in the Word so, if we ever do encounter one, we will be ready to plead the blood! I do believe that all of this occult/new age is very demonic and will help to usher in the age of antichrist. I do find anything concerning the rebuilding of the temple in Israel very interesting!
Campsmore, I will pray for Katlyn. I have a ruptured disc, followed by degenerative disc disease. I finally had a fusion in February. That alone is a lot for a 12-year old to go through, not withstanding kidney disease! We have a friend here that we laid hands on and prayed for and they were healed of kidney disease! G-d is able!
Marge, ok, I'm guilty! I watched the movie, "Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants" too! I really enjoyed the movie, especially the part where the one girl learned about loving and losing a friend to death. It was great to see a young person have their heart and mind on someone else! It occured to me while I was watching, they thought the pants were magical. As they matured, they realized it wasn't the pants, but their bond of friendship. Wouldn't it have been great if the story had Jesus in it and the girls had realized how much He loved them and helped them, even when they weren't always doing the right things? The grace of G-d? Maybe that His presence in their life caused them to want to be better people? Anyway, my mind works like that. Just overlook me! LOL!
Well, I have just begun my journey through the book, "Temple at the Center of Time." I am really excited about it after hearing everyone here talk about it. Today my next reading came in. "Israelistine" I've got some reading to do, so you all have a great night!

One thing that I got a chuckle out of is his reference to the old warning prior to driving somewhere. It is what I tell my daughter every time she has to begin another long business trip.

Back in my old homeland we had a saying when we prayed for ‘traveling mercies.’
“Remember,” we admonished one another, “the angels that protect you when you drive will take their securing hands off your car when you exceed the speed limit or otherwise break the law.”
I was reminded of this as I read two headlines in The Jerusalem Post Tuesday (June 9).
‘North Korea threatens nuclear offensive,’ warned the first one, earlier in the day.
And a little later: ‘US can shoot down any missile North Korea launches’ said US Defense Secretary Robert Gates.
My first thought: “I wouldn’t sound so cocky and sure if I were you, Mr Gates. God’s protection over your nation is surely being lifted as your new president moves hard and fast to launch policies that threaten the existence of the State of Israel and the survival of the Jews.”
Has that protection already been taken away? Could a North Korean nuclear missile somehow penetrate the United States compromised security and rain death and horror upon the people of that land?
Were I an American, I would be in deep repentance and intercession on behalf of my nation. In fact, even though I am not a citizen of the United States, I find my heart crying out to heaven for mercy for her.
My only caveat: That mercy for the United States does nothing to further endanger and harm the nation of Israel.
Lisa, Shalom! I'm listening to Steven Quayle's broadcast right now. While I'm not discounting something spiritually dangerous occurring this weekend (I'm thinking of Joel's most recent post about the elections occurring in Iran on the 12th), I have to say that this guy gives conspiracy theorists a bad name.
I've been doing some checking on comets visible in the southern hemisphere. There ain't nothin' there. One thing about astronomy is that 90% of the work is done by amateurs. It's the one scientific field where a total nobody can make a name for his-or-herself by being the first to spot something new. As a result, there are tons of sites geared towards amateur astronomers where information such as location, magnitudes, coma sizes, etc. are all passed around so that sitings can be confirmed. (BTW, "magnitude" is a measure of brightness. The larger the value, the dimmer the object. "Coma" is the head of the comet. Comets are frozen snowballs with rocks embedded. As the comets approach the sun, the frozen gasses start to thaw or "outgas", which gives the coma a "fuzzy" or "hairy" appearance. Coma sizes are estimates, and are given in feet. Not miles, but feet.) There are a couple of comets that might fit the bill; the problem is their magnitudes are all decreasing. IOW, they're moving away from the sun and away from us.
The "8 miles" he's talking about isn't the size of the object, it's the title of a song by the Byrds from 1968. ("Eight miles high, and falling to ground...") It was referenced in "Bye, Bye, Miss American Pie". Frankly, I think he's REALLY stretching things, interpreting this song in light of modern demonic influences.

Lisa, gotta agree with Jim Carroll on this Steve Quayle topic. Hubby and I are both avid star gazers and Hubby especially. To the point that when he heard the broadcast said very simply "that guy is a basket case". If he really does believe this he needs help. However, if he is doing this to incite fear, attention, and reaction from the people then he is treading on very dangerous ground. Kinda reminds me of the joke Orson Wells and his co-partner in at a radio station did in the 30's. The Martians are Coming thingy and there were laws enacted to prevent such a thing from taking place again. Check with your hubby Lisa.
Do you suppose you could tag your comments in the future with UFO REPORT or something along that line? That way those of us who are not interested in the topic can bypass it and go merrily on our way. I know you love the topic and probably many more do also but there are just as many here that don't share that interest. I am one of them. Give me Jesus but don't fool with the space ships and Scotties of the world.
That is just my take on it and the easiest thing for me to do in the future is clicky, click. Haven't had to do that much lately.

I hope you didn't think I was trying to negate what you said about my dream-I did listen I guess I am just not comfortable with the idea that I could be having actual dreams with real meaning. because I am such a vivid dreamer and also an interactive dreamer it is difficult for me to know sometimes what is me and what might actually be Spirit led and influenced.

sometime ago you posted something from a catholic priest about the stages leading up to persecution. do you have that handy somewhere? I am interested in forwarding it to some folks and it somewhat pertinent to our current conversation so it isn't a stretch to repost now. BTW i found that most recent Mark Mallet posting quite good also. very thought provoking.
I don't listen to Steve Quayle (other than hearing this) so I don't know anything about his background.
But your right-if he's made this "warning" up or who knows what- then he's lost it. I suppose as time marches on things of this nature will be more common place.

Recognizing a Coming Persecution
Experts agree that five stages of a coming persecution can be identified.
(1) The targeted group is stigmatized; its reputation is attacked, possibly by mocking it and rejecting its values.
(2) Then the group is marginalized, or pushed out of the mainstream of society, with deliberate efforts to limit and undo its influence.
(3) The third stage is to vilify the group, viciously attacking it and blaming it for many of society’s problems.
(4) Next, the group is criminalized, with increasing restrictions placed on its activities and eventually even its existence.
(5) The final stage is one of outright persecution.
Many commentators believe the United States is now in stage three, and moving into stage four.
Preparing for a Persecution: Steps to Take
(ideas in part from the book Storm Warning):
1. Realize that persecution is normal; many believers throughout most of Christian history have experienced it (including millions around the world today). If they can persevere with God’s help, so can we. Our attitude should be one of trust and acceptance, not guilt or fear.
2. Keep a proper perspective. Christians are persecuted not because we’re losing, but because we’re winning. The gates of hell will not prevail against the Church (Mt. 16:18); Satan’s fury reflects the truth that his time is limited and his kingdom is crumbling.
3. Remember that persecution may come not only from the Church’s enemies, but also from fellow Christians who betray others out of fear or weakness (cf. Mk. 13:12, 1 Jn. 2:19). We must as shrewd as serpents and innocent as doves (Mt. 10:16), trusting others only after careful prayer and discernment. We must also resolve any quarrels with fellow believers.
4. Refuse to give into fear. If we suffer for our faith, the Holy Spirit will take away our anxiety and give us the words to say at the proper moment (Mk. 13:11).
5. Maintain links with other believers. “If the believer, because of fear, cuts himself off from all contact with other Christians, Satan will have won. A Christian cannot survive victoriously for long if he is spiritually cut off from fellow-ship, worship and teaching” – Brother Andrew of Open Doors Ministry.
6. Pray—for all who are persecuted, for our fellow believers, for those who persecute us and those who betray us. We must also pray for strength, courage, and discernment.
7. Remember that God loves us, is with us always, knows our limits better than we do, and will give us all the resources we need to remain firm in our faith and to emerge victorious from our trials.

Anne, thanks. I still need the prayers. It turns out that I miscalculated the money I would be getting this month, and it's going to be a struggle to make it though to August. Yesterday I was setting down my prayer list, and I was trying to set down just one very specific thing I would pray for. I started to write down, "a job," and then I stopped. I'm already praying for a job with benefits, but that's not really specific. I started thinking about what really frightens me about not having a job, and I thought that it was loosing my apartment, but that's not really it either. I realized that what really scares me is the possibility of losing my things: my TV, my sofa, my books, my cats ... I realized that I'm really attached to my things, and that this attachment is interfering with my spiritual life. That's why I wrote that the latest posting from Mark Mallett really struck home: I'm willing to accept being unemployed and to praise G_D during this time, provided I don't lose anything.
So I'm praying for the grace to accept giving up my things when G_D tells me it's time to do so. I'm making a list of items that I'm going to try to sell (and get a decent price in selling) to help stretch things out a little more. The one rule I'm making for myself is accepting that once I sell something, if/when I get a job I'm not going to try to replace it. So when I sell my 27" HDTV, I'm going to be satisfied with the spare 20" regular TV I've got in my bedroom (and don't use). I'm going to sell my barrister bookshelves with the glass doors that keep out the dust. I'm going to sell the sofa. If I don't get a job by the end of July, I'm going to sell my new car. This will REALLY limit me, because without a car I can't apply for any jobs out of town (unless I rent a car, for example). Still, I think this is part of G_D's way of simplifying my life, preparing me for what's to come.
On a happier note, my oldest is ecstatic. She had gotten notice that she was being placed on academic probation from the University for a year. This in spite of the fact that she's really pulled up her grades since she got back on her meds. She's spent the last two weeks assembling the evidence for her appeal and went in to deliver the appeal and the documentation this morning. Turns out that after they had sent her the physical letter about her academic probation, they had sent her an email on her school email account (which she doesn't use because she's not in school now) explaining they had made a mistake and that her academic probation was rescinded! She's back in school!

Other than Christine there is probably no one here who is really interested @ this point or I would tag it with a “Warning-UFO Content”.(Which I find completely ridiculous frankly.) A couple people who were interested are not posting much these days.
I can chat with her on another blog about the Nephilim/UFO supernatural things. The people there are open to studying this area of Bible prophecy & it’s devoid of having to deal with a critical spirit. Frankly I’m just tired of the flack.
There is not much that I don't find interesting or helpful & I’m open to whatever others find & post. It could be a 10 eyed, 5 armed, purple people eater w/pink polka dots or something as boring as watching paint dry.
If someone I know is excited about it then I’m game & don’t limit what I accept in a person. But that’s just me.
This is more of a sit on the chase lounge & sip your latte type of place & I certainly don’t want to ruin the froth. (or better yet- cause one to froth.)

I value both of your posts and the interesting paths and thoughts you have both brought up over the last couple of yrs. You both strike me as mature Christians but we must all remember we come from many different backgrounds... the rock of Christ is the only thing we all share here, and perhaps discernment from studying the Word. I love the posts here and would hate to think anybody has to stiffle their interests here. Also, as we've discussed before, many on here are experiencing first hand spiritual attack, financial, temptations, illness, pain, family issues, anger, etc. We MUST recognize these and keep plugged into the Word and let our armor cover up. All would agree it's only going to get more intense in these times.
Perhaps even a small crack between you two could turn into a chasm and divide this online fellowship. So be on guard against the real enemy. Love in Christ to you both.

Very sad piece on Desmond Tutu!
My Dad was a parish administrator in the Anglican Church in the mid 1980's and was a friend of Tutu's. He told me that Tutu was very dedicated and used to pray every day at 5am, used to fast regularly and was very spirit filled. I wonder if this is not a case of 'man's wisdom'. I have spoken to my Dad about Tutu a fews times and he feels that Tutu is spiritually blind and has been seduced by the world. I think that article confirms it and I have forwarded it on to him.

Waiting with hope
Mary and Martha had sent their friend Jesus a message about the critical condition of their brother, Lazarus, and their urgent need for his help: "Lord, the one you love is very sick" (John 11:3). But instead of rushing off to Bethany, Jesus stayed where he was for two days before responding to Mary and Martha's plea. When he did arrive, he raised Lazarus from the dead in a magnificent display of his power.
Just as Mary and Martha struggled when Jesus answered their prayers for Lazarus in a time and way different from what they had expected, we get frustrated when the Lord delays in coming to us and answering our prayers.
As it did for the grieving sisters, two days (or two months or two years) of waiting can seem like an eternity to us. But in the midst of the "delay," God is not inactive. He is teaching us patience, perseverance, and faith and is planning to glorify himself in our circumstances. While we are waiting, he wants to cleanse our hearts and refocus us on Jesus. The Spirit always knows what will glorify God, and we can trust him when we're in the waiting room.
LORD, help me to wait for you in hope and perseverance, knowing that you will come. Grant me patience and faith in the waiting room of life yet to be.

My dad used to play the original Orsen Wells (War of the Worlds) radio broadcast for me all the time as a kid. (Vinyl)
He remembered "actual time" when it was played & told me the story how everyone freaked out.
Just as most people have been desensitized to sex & violence-via Hollywood we are still being desensitized to the Alien agenda. There are at least 5 Trailers if not more-right now-having to do w/UFO's & Aliens & two of them are kid's cartoons.
It's getting pretty crazy & stressful now w/all that is going on in the world. Our brothers & sisters in Christ who are trying to watch & warn people what may occur may get a little jumpy in the process.
Steve Quayle has been talking w/people who tell him a 15-20 foot mile wide craft has been coming tword earth & various speeds.
To him & many of us this UFO/Alien agenda subject is not fantasy but a supernatural spiritual deception.
Whether God intends to use this as a form of judgment we don't know but there are some strong parallels to the days of Lot & Noah & our Day & some scriptures in Isaiah & Revelation & others.

He spends so much time researching this stuff-then he has some credible sources tell him about this "craft" and sounds the alarm.
Are his sources well intended or is someone setting him up purposely so he looks like a nut?
It kind of reminds me of Christians who are watching the signs & sound the alarm that the rapture may occur on Rosh Hashanah or on a particular feast date.
We might see a war stir up in the ME & think Psalm 83 or Gog/Magog is on its way & sound an alarm when it's a false flag.
Should we think if something prophetic may happen it's better to sound an alarm & possibly be wrong? Or only sound it after it's actually in our midst?
Didn't the prophets in the OT (who actually heard from God-not just Christians watching the signs) sound the alarm many years before God moved? The people then also thought nothing would ever happen & just wanted to listen to the smooth talkers.
So I don't know. Maybe it's something to think about. I just don't want to be critical of our brothers & sisters if they happen to get something wrong.
It's the "Thus saith the Lord" type of prophet who prophesies falsely-I would be very leery of.

Let's agree for a moment that UFO's/aliens are some sort of spiritual delusion. Even then I personally don't see it as a topic that should be held in such high regard to take up so much time when there are so many other incredible amazing things going on in the world of BIble prophecy and current events that seem to have gotten drowned out, from my perspective.
I just think a lot of time spent on it takes up time from other impt prophetically related things.

I agree with you. The alien thing is really out there as far as I'm concerned (although I follow it sometimes). It seems that those that are "in" to it are mostly VERY conspiracy theory oriented. Sort of like those who read The Enquirer ect. Just my take on it, no offence intended. I believe it has prophetic significance but it may not be as much as some would see in it.
On the question of a basic prophecy site, I like and would recommend Dave Reagan at Lamb and Lion Ministries. He has a balanced approach and sticks to the Word. His book "God's plan for the Ages" is a good overview of the topics and easy to understand. I have given it to Christians who did not follow prophecy or knew nothing about it and it helped them understand the basics.

Her name is Sonja Kristin (Lazarus) DeWaard and she is starting life with an incredible testimony of God’s love. If you have made a pre-judgment about something & aren't open to other possibilities then the door is closed to that subject.

My apologies to you if I offended you in any way. I do see how people who follow conspiracy theories are like those that read The Enquirer. They themselves may not read it but they are similar. Do you see what I mean? Its a matter of falling for every new thing that comes along. I doubt whether anyone 500 years ago was fretting over alien invasions.
I know that I am getting myself in too deep here but I just don't see a hidden agenda or conspiracy behind every tree. I do however see some of the agenda of the "god of this world" and how he blinds people and leads us away from God. That is the NWO in its true form and it is not so hidden as it was a short time ago.
All these different agendas are all part of this great deception, its just a matter of how completely true they are (some I believe are not COMPLETELY true) and how big a part they will play in the whole picture, if at all.
With information overload these days, I believe we need to use a lot of caution and serious discernment. I don't wish to put a wet blanket on anyones postings. I believe we all could use all the information that is posted here to stay informed. If God leads us to study or be informed by all the posters, then it certainly is not my place to say otherwise. I will however comment or try to shed some additional light on topics that I feel lead comment or ask questions on.
I believe God has lead us all here for many purposes and at least one of those purposes (for me anyway) is to fellowship and grow in the knowledge of God and his plan for us all. Just a thought. We all may see some things in the future that could really surprise us! I always thought the word apocalypse was simply the battle (armageddon) that ends the world as we know it. I have found out that it actually means the thinning of the veil between the natural and the supernatural. Then you read Revelations. Do you see the things coming up from out of the earth? I pray there is a pretrib rapture. I am well aware that there are arguements for pre, mid, and post, and scriptures to support them. I am also aware that Perry Stone has posted a teaching that all 3 will occur. I am not going to get into a debate about when, I just know it will happen. If, however, the Lord tarries and we are here for a period of time, it seems there will be things coming upon the earth that will be horrendous! We need to be read up on the Word and fasting and praying! It does say in Luke 21:26 "Men's hearts will be failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth: for the powers of heaven shall be shaken." Since the veil between the supernatural and the natural will be thinned, it would make sense that we would begin to see the spiritual battle going on around us. Since we are unaccustomed to seeing these things, without the Lord, our heart will literally be able to fail us from fear! We really need to be drawing close to the Lord!

It will be very interesting to see what takes place next.

I'm sorry if I appear as if I have my panties in a wad lately but I'm sensing that we are living in a late hour & should be open to what God has put on each of our hearts.
We are all individual members each given unique gifts, talents
,understanding from the Lord & we are suppose to work together & communicate these things & see where the Spirit leads us.
Designed to be separate yet work as one.
Do we all know what unique gifts the Lord as bestowed upon us? What has He called you to do?
I've been kicking up my heels lately out of a sense of frustration. I'm certain I don't share my particular insights w/perfect grace & clarity-for sure.
And what I do see as a potential supernatural deception I hang onto loosely. It could go any number of ways and to different degrees @ various points in time.
But why has the Lord pointed some of us to this? That's what my inquiring mind would love to know.
And frankly-I don't have an answer.
Are we caught up out of here before any of this "Visual" supernatural stuff really gets going? If so what's the point of sharing this? Is it for the People left behind? Or is it to prepare us for something we could actually experience?
So as you can see I have way more questions than answers but some of us do see something "brewing up" in the supernatural realm.
And just think about this for a minute. If the Lord is using some of us to show you these things-how does He feel when your initial response is so critical? Do you think that might break His heart? How can you label what is more important to God? Do you know all His thoughts?
Since our fight is against the principalities & powers (in the supernatural) realize that they don't want anyone onto their game plans. I admit there are paranoid delusional people who thrive on Conspiracy theories & there are many false ones.
But realize that Satan uses the term "Conspiracy" to put a veil over his personal diabolical plans. If we just brush every questionable theory as a "Conspiracy" then very few people will take some of these things seriously & check it out for themselves. It's a cleverly planned & manipulative tactic.
We are now looking at how Satan is labeling "Evangelical Christianity" as dangerous to our Society. He is going to put a veil over the majority because we are the enemy to his plans. He's chomping @ the bit to get his own balls rolling.
Wouldn't we all like to go on "as is" in our own little comfortable bubbles of reality?
YHWH created our physical world & earthly existence but He also created a spiritual & supernatural existence. Many supernatural events are shown to us in the Bible yet we really don't think too much about actually experiencing these things ourselves. (Unless of course it's for our own personal "healing" or those who chase after false signs & wonders.)
If indeed as Christine mentioned-that "veil" and separation is thinned out-then we are in for a wild ride & God does not allow this things to transpire until He gives His children the heads up

What's the point of studying these things & then only conversing w/other Christians who have the same burden?
We're only going to share with others of like mind? Live in a mini-cloister?
Is that what God intended us to do?
Separate & categorize us into similar groups? Or are we suppose to share with the Body in an open, respectful & prayerful attitude?
Realizing that we don't know it all & that our pre-conceived ideas could be way off. Can we be open to whatever & wherever God is leading His people & let the Holy Spirit guide us?
We are all gifted w/unique abilities & need each other - especially as the day of the Lord draws near.
I hope you don't take this as too preachy but I mean it in love & all sincerity and wanted to share what has been on my heart.

Grany, I like the link you posted! I have been studying on the same lines! We have a Bible study in our church on Wednesday nights, and our pastor was saying these exact same things! He said it used to be preached in the early church, but later, it was deemed too controversial. Too much time had elapsed since man on earth had seen these things and they wouldn't believe it anymore. That is one of the reasons they went to teaching the "sons of G-d" were sons of Cain instead of fallen angels. Anyway, it was a great link!

no just trying to head something off at the pass so to speak that could get really nasty and really has no bearing as far as I am concerned in the overall scheme of things. The whole saturday vs sunday debate is artificial and divisive and is not a topic that needs to be debated or concentrated on since it has no bearing on our ultimate mission which is to be witnesses of Christ.
Truthfully the same can be said of other subjects including prophecy. If it doesn't get your tail end off the couch to witness or be a witness then I am not sure of what use it is other than to be a distraction from our main function which is to be a witness for Christ.
I have been doing a lot of thinking lately and trying to see how my personal interests in all facets of my life either add to or detract from my potential ability to be a witness for God. I am fast coming to the conclusion that some of my interests serve little purpose in the heavenly realm. that doesn't make them intrinsically bad or not worthy of enjoyment or study as long as they don't directly interfere with me becoming more like Christ and they don't make the Spirit's job harder in directing people toward Christ. Yes God can use anything but do we need to make his job harder than it needs to be?

Jib, I agree that we need to examine ourselves--every day!--to make sure we have our priorities straight! I pray that God will help me to make His priorities my priorities. Every day I try to tell the Lord that no matter what I have planned that day, I lay those plans at His feet and He can change those plans according to His will and for His purpose.
I just heard a lady talk the other day about missing a flight, but while she was waiting for the next one, she was able to witness to two people! God will use us if we are open and willing.
Gotta disagree with you about prophecy and God's law though. If they weren't important, God wouldn't have included them in the Bible.

I never said neither weren't important. However one of the criticisms that is lodged against those who study prophecy, and in some cases rightfully so, is that they neglect other areas. If however you are studying prophecy and it doesn't give you the impetus to get out there and witness more because you see the end is coming and people need to be directed toward the truth, I submit that your study of prophecy has little value and perhaps is being used to distract you from what our job on earth is to be-the winning of souls. If your study of prophecy or anything else is coming at the expense of your family I think you need to rethink your priorites. Satan can use good things to distract us from our main task that was given which is to preach the gospel to the 4 corners of the earth.
As to the law-it is supposed to convict us of sin and show us our need for a Savior. I would also remind you that one of the biggest areas of contention between Christ and the Pharisees was over the Sabbath and how to observe it-so legalism over the law was and still is possible. The law is important in that it convicts of sin, it is however not in the bible for us to argue over as to whether Saturday or Sunday is the appropriate day to worship or observe.

All our studies in the Word should ultimately lead us to Jesus, and Him alone. And of course, sharing the Good News (Gospel) with the unsaved.

LOL! My husband and I settled the aruguement of the sabbath...we do both!
I do agree that our priority should be spreading the gospel. I can't tell you how many services I have visited that don't even give an altar call anymore at the end of service. How are people suppose to make a decision, if you don't give them the opportunity? I have unsaved loved ones that I worry about this close to the end. If they won't listen to me, I pray G-d will send someone they will listen to!
