Grace and Peace

Php 1:2 Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.

Joh 16:33 "These things I have spoken to you, so that in Me you may have peace. In the world you have tribulation, but take courage; I have overcome the world."

Eph 2:14 For He Himself is our peace, who made both groups into one and broke down the barrier of the dividing wall,

Eph 2:15 by abolishing in His flesh the enmity, which is the Law of commandments contained in ordinances, so that in Himself He might make the two into one new man, thus establishing peace,

Eph 2:16 and might reconcile them both in one body to God through the cross, by it having put to death the enmity.

Eph 2:17 AND HE CAME AND PREACHED PEACE TO YOU WHO WERE FAR AWAY, AND PEACE TO THOSE WHO WERE NEAR;

Eph 2:18 for through Him we both have our access in one Spirit to the Father.

Heb 13:20 Now the God of peace, who brought up from the dead the great Shepherd of the sheep through the blood of the eternal covenant, even Jesus our Lord,

Heb 13:21 equip you in every good thing to do His will, working in us that which is pleasing in His sight, through Jesus Christ, to whom be the glory forever and ever. Amen.

1Pe 5:14 Greet one another with a kiss of love. Peace be to you all who are in Christ.

Fabulous devotion Mr. Hyde, thank you.

I enjoyed the scriptures.

Check out Uncle Bob's blog today, he wrote a piece called, "Hamas in Prophecy"

By the way, his publisher has hit a snafu! They are running so low on books, they are having trouble meeting their Amazon orders. They are actually buying back the books that Uncle Bob bought to give away.

Pray for this Christian publisher. He didn't want to have to do yet another printing because of extensive costs. But maybe he should? Some guy called Uncle Bob and asked him how he could buy 100 copies.

To quote DCTalk, "God is doing it, God is doing a new thing, God is doing it, (Who's doing it?) God is doing a new thing.

Those of you who remember that song will be angry at me later when you cannot get that rap out of your brain!

Is it not reassuring to know that God is King of kings?

For the Lord is a great God, the great King above all gods. Psalm 95:3 NLT

When the godly are in authority, the people rejoice. But when the wicked are in power, they groan. A just king gives stability to his nation… Proverbs 29:2,4 NLT

Come, Thou Almighty King

Come, Thou Almighty King,
Help us Thy name to sing,
Help us to praise;
Father! all-glorious,
O'er all victorious,
Come, and reign over us,
Ancient of Days.
Come, Thou Almighty King (v1), AUTHOR UNKNOWN

Presidents, kings, and other ruling officials should be honored and prayed for. So wrote the apostles Peter and Paul, who lived under the Roman emperors. But we must never forget that the King of kings and Lord of lords deserves our ultimate honor and complete allegiance.

This hymn appeared anonymously in George Whitfield's Hymn Book, published in 1757. It is usually attributed to Charles Wesley, but was probably published anonymously for a good reason. Scholars think Wesley wrote this hymn as an imitation of the English national anthem, "God Save Our Gracious King." The national anthem had just been written, and it had become popular throughout England. This hymn may have been Wesley's way of keeping priorities straight.

Whether the author was trying to remind us that there is an almighty Kind greater than any earthly ruler, or whether he was simply writing it as a special hymn for Trinity Sunday, it is a grand and noble hymn praising our sovereign Lord.

I need y'all to agree with me in prayer. We know someone is casing our home. The police have been called and are aware. We just had the same person come and sit out front of our home only in a different vehicle.

He was confronted by a neighbor last time. He only responded by telling her to go back inside her home and eat another butterfinger.

We're not sure why they've picked our home, it's certainly not the nicest in the neighborhood. But our schedules do seem to be predictable.

Lori, praying for you also. In addition to Mac's great suggestion, I think it would be appropriate to ask your neighbors and friends to contact the police and remind them it is a form of stalking and is illegial. Also a form of terrorism and that falls under Federal Laws.

We had to deal with this sort of thing when my daughter lived in Houston, TX a few years ago. Seems they were trying to catch one of the residents of her apartment complex in a workman's comp case and when the residents all called the police department and complained, repeatedly, they moved him out. The end of the story, the man who had filed workman's comp was very seriously injured in his fall from a fork lift assignment and never has walked again. These guys will stop at nothing because that is how they earn their money. Don't fool with them just keep calling the police and we will all pray in the meantime.

We have two very large dogs, both are over 60lbs, and they have a loud bark.

We took our old dilapidated grill that only has 3 feet placed it in front of our shed and booby trapped it to fall if anyone tries to move it. It will make an amazing racket!

I have extra large windchimes on both sides of my back sliders.

I have a gun target I shot up with a 22 and a 40cal. (40 cal. bullet hole dead center) attached to the back door with a sign that reads, "If my dogs don't get you, our guns will!"

My neighbor is running her video spy cam which can pick up movement and sound in the front yard.

The most dangerous cake recipe in the world!

5 MINUTE CHOCOLATE MUG CAKE
4 tablespoons flour
4 tablespoons sugar
2 tablespoons cocoa
1 egg
3 tablespoons milk
3 tablespoons oil
3 tablespoons chocolate chips (optional)
a small splash of vanilla extract
1 large coffee mug
Add dry ingredients to mug, and mix well. Add the egg and mix thoroughly.
Pour in the milk and oil and mix well. Add the chocolate chips (if using) and
vanilla extract, and mix again.
Put your mug in the microwave and cook for 3 minutes at 1000 watts (high).
The cake will rise over the top of the mug, but don't be alarmed! Allow to
cool a little, and tip out onto a plate if desired.

EAT! (this can serve 2 if you want to feel slightly more virtuous). And why is this the most dangerous cake recipe in the world? Because now we are all only 5 minutes away from chocolate cake at any time of the day or night!

Looks like the left-wing is hitting Benjamin Netanyahu where it hurts. The following is an article from the left-wing Newspaper, Haaretz. Can hardly wait to hear what Joel says about Netanyahu wanting Kadima to join him in his coalition.

Netanyahu, put your money where your mouth is

By Gideon Levy

Why isn't Benjamin Netanyahu setting up a right-wing government? Why isn't he carrying out the voters' will to position the right wing in power? Why isn't he taking the opportunity that fell into his hands to form a government in tune with his doctrine?

Why is he talking about a broad coalition, knowing it would force him to compromise his principles? Because he is afraid. Now, at the moment of truth, when he has the ability to implement his ideology, he has gotten cold feet and wants to dilute his government with components that are alien to his doctrine.

Together with Yisrael Beiteinu, Shas, United Torah Judaism, Habayit Hayehudi and National Union - a majority of 65 Knesset members who are all distinctly far right - Netanyahu could carry out his political ideas. After all, the right wing always has answers for everything, a solution to every problem. So go for it, Netanyahu, go for it.

First, go for the economic peace. Let's see you obtain funding - from the Arab world and perhaps from Israel, too, especially in these economic times - to carry out the projects you promised. Persuade the Palestinians and Americans that this is enough. Let's see what happens after the first suicide attack in the industrial zone built on the outskirts of Nablus or behind Hebron.

Been there, done that. We've had industrial zones - so-called "peace parks" - in Erez, Tul Karm and Atarot. They stand abandoned, in ruins.

Why? Because they weren't enough for the Palestinians. Because the Palestinians understood the deception behind the approach that we give them work and they remain quiet. After all, Palestinians, like other nations, need not only bread but also freedom and self-definition. A weird sort of notion that Netanyahu's fathers also dreamed of.

So go for the economic peace, Netanyahu, the right-wing government will applaud you. A broad coalition may, however, demand more.

Bomb Iran, Netanyahu, because sanctions aren't enough for you, you don't believe in diplomatic negotiations with Iran and you pledged that you, Mr. Iran, would prevent Tehran from obtaining nuclear arms at any cost. Let's see you get Barack Obama's permission for the most dangerous escapade of all. Bombard and let's see what happens.

A broad government could stop your quirks, so why go there? This is the most crucial issue on your agenda. Topple Hamas' rule in Gaza, as you promised. Release Gilad Shalit without freeing murderers, as you wrote in your book about terror. Go forth on your way.

In your speech at the last session of the 17th Knesset you outlined this way: Any territory released from the IDF's control would be occupied by Hamas, so don't evacuate a single dunam, you said. Explain that to Obama and Mahmoud Abbas. Tell them you won't ever negotiate over Jerusalem. That the Jordan Valley and Judean Desert will remain in our hands for eternity. Ya'akov Katz (National Union) will cheer you on, Moshe Ya'alon will salute you. A broad coalition, however, could demand something else.

Offer the Syrians peace for peace. After all, you wouldn't uproot the tender sapling you planted in the Golan just last week, on Tu Bishvat. You wouldn't renege on your statement, "Gamla will not fall again."

Build more and more settlements - there is plenty of "state-owned land" and private land to usurp. Then annex the territories. There is no reason not to apply Israeli law to territories that will remain forever in our hands. Annex and annex, from Jenin to Hebron, distribute Israeli identity cards to the residents and, hey, on to the next Knesset elections with two million new voters.

Perhaps America will finally tell you, annex or evacuate, and you will have to decide. Try selling Obama this political merchandise, and we'll see how he reacts. And let's see how you react if he says no. Why not ask his administration for more and more weapons, more economic aid, more diplomatic support and still stand on your principles. Let's watch you in action, Netanyahu.

But the truth is, Netanyahu knows that this would be a horrific sight. He wants Kadima and Labor in his government to hold him back, to prevent him from carrying out his doctrine. This is exactly why they must not join his coalition. Render unto Netanyahu the things that are Netanyahu's. Let's see how it ends up working out for him. And for us.

Israel (including Netanyahu) still need our prayers.

Late Night Lisa said...

Grany,

Thinking about you. How are you?

I started reading a book called "Economic Disorder" by Larry Bates. I saw him interviewed on Prophesy in the News.

This guy is onto something. He's a born again, economic wiz, Bible prophesy believing Christian. (A great combination!) He knows all about the plans of the Luciferian NWO, the purpose, & how it's being implemented before our very eyes.

Basically, he's wise & knowledgeable enough about this type of thing to remain ahead of the curve so that when "the crash" does come-he won't go down financially with the pawns of the economic elite.(Which is almost everybody.) His idea is that there is a major battle going on between Satan's Kingdom & God's kingdom. If some in God's kingdom can remain financially secure @ this point then there will be some $$ left to be used in accordance to God's will.

(Nate, he lists all of the Executive orders too!)

He believes there will be three phases for implementation of the NWO plan & that it's a one-world socialist, economic, political, & religious system.

Phase one-Economic
Phase two-Political
Phase three-Religious

(My thought is that we could be here through all the phases because
it just may be that the entire system is set up before the Anti-Christ pops up & Jesus still wants His sheep saved & He uses His Church to do so.)

"The greatest obstacle to this unconstitutional, self-styled, Satan-inspired, totalitarian govt. of the NWO will be true, Bible-believing Christians who will be branded as cultists, fanatics, or dangerous fundamentalists. In 4.21.94 edition of USA Today, an article titled "Experts Weigh How to Deal With Cults in the Future" pointed out that, "There is a rise in 'fanaticism' all across the world. Today, the groups (cults) tend to believe the Bible predicts the end of the world is near." Quoting author Paul Boyer, the article revealed, "In the past couple of decades, we've had a sharp upsurge of interest in Bible prophecy."

Like the Nazis in Germany & the Communalists in Russia, the establishment liberals & conservatives in the US share a common premise-the rejection of the supreme authority of the almighty God in the Bible. Writing in the Colorado Christian News, editor Joann Bruso aptly states, "This new definition for 'religious fanatics' includes every evangelical, Pentecostal and Bible-believing Christian. It's time for America to wake up."

In the 'religious phase' he believes that it will be the Vatican who will overlap w/the 'political phase' & when this happens it will split the Roman Catholic Church.

"If I were to ask you what is the main industry of the Vatican (the Vatican is a nation-state listed in the geographic journals of the Holy See.), what would you say?"

According to The World Fact Book compiled by the United States Central Intelligence Agency, the main industry of the Vatican is "worldwide banking & financial activities."

He does go on to mention he believes its the bureaucracy of the RCC that is at fault. "I know many people in the Roman Catholic Church have had a salvation experience & know the Lord Jesus personally as their savior."

He gives a very interesting description of what he saw when he toured the UN. This one stood out:
"As our group walked down the dark corridor toward the meditation room, we observed a large stone altar on which a meditation light was shining. Placed in front of the altar were eleven chairs, which I believe symbolically represent what we read in Daniel 7:24 "..out of this kingdom are ten kings which shall arise: and another will arise after them."

We then journeyed through the complex. While in the social & economic council chambers, our young guide, a former college professor from Germany, extolled the virtues of their grand socialist schemes.

I couldn't keep still any longer, & I blurted out(intending to be facetious), "Why don't you just take everybody's money, checking accounts, savings accounts, stocks, bonds, real estate, and all of their other assets & just put everything in one big pile & redistribute it to everybody in the word?"

Our guide replied, "A very good idea-it's what we are trying to do here."

Our guide went on to point out with great pride that the Vatican(Holy See) even had observer status in the U.N. General Assembly, a veiled inference that all of the religions of the world are represented through the Vatican.

Anyway Grany,

Maybe your husband would like to read this book. If he could see what is happening through a new Biblical lens-then perhaps he can position your assets better for what's to come.

My husband who was very political is still living in fantasy land. He says about the NWO- "They have been trying to implement this for years." I remind him yes-but now it's actually going through onto fruition!

He says he will read the book & then goes onto mention all of the things he will do w/money (if we ever recuperate it) which all have to do with us and none for the Kingdom of God.

I have a fleeting thought & I hope it doesn't happen but- If I were him I'd watch out w/that kind of attitude. Thank goodness for the abounding mercies & grace of the Lord.

My fleeting though is that although I have the heart to give back to God's kingdom I don't hold the purse strings to any significant degree. You can imagine the rest of the thought I'm sure.

Hope your doing better Grany!

Lisa

Shalom, all! And Lori, if a laugh like that is to be effective, you need to have it come from deep in your chest, from the diaphragm.

As for Netanyahu's attempt (he's Likud Party, conservative) to woo the Kadima Party (they're liberal, and have controlled the govt. for the past few years): I think it's going to take more than kosher chocolates and flowers. Like all courtships, grovelling will be involved. The question is how much grovelling will be done before Bibi starts looking for other starfish.

The problem is that Bibi CAN form a right-wing coalition without Kadima. He has to get enough parties to join the coalition so that all together, the coalition controls 61 seats in the Knesset. The problem is that he then has to deal with multiple smaller parties, giving them MUCH greater influence in the new government than the number of seats they hold would indicate. Plus, ALL the center-right parties would have to join. If any of them refuse and choose to be an opposition party, then forming a new right-wing government will be impossible.

So, if in fact Kadima is going to take all its marbles and go home AND any of the right-wing parties refuse to join (it was either Shas or Yisrael Beitenu that declared it will be an opposition party); if a coalition cannot be agreed upon, then the government will collapse and new elections will be held.

Well, Oklahoma City is a real nice town, basically but then there are limits, such as THIS

Lisa you will get a kick out of the article and be sure to watch the video. It is strange how the police officer related abortion to murder (killing) and yet they voted for BHO.

Something that I read the other day that got me tickled and I have to share it with you. In my days of youthfulness, BO meant body odor and it wasn't a compliment. Now BO stands for, yep, you know who--Barry! Also, have you heard the latest on Sen. Burris admitting that he did indeed campaign for financial help for the Gov. of Ill. We have a lot to be praying for and yet all I can think of is, get the lost into the safety of the sheep fold. Thanks Kelly and I really do mean that.

Last night I had a very strange dream and it was about being sheltered in a large enclosure with many, many others. We were all worshiping and praising God and the sounds were clear and beautiful. We were teaching and taking care of each other with such freedom that I didn't want to wake up. Nothing stark stands out in my memory regarding it but it did give me great peace. Mary Emma, you are precious and I thank you for your comments on the previous post of Mac's. You and many others, truly blessed me and helped me get back where I am supposed to be with the Lord and His provisions.

Thinking of getting a big tent type protection and holding a praise and worship service outside in our backyard when the weather gets nice. Won't be long now as I saw my first Robin yesterday and we get them pretty early in this time frame. But don't you all think it would be glorious to flood the atmosphere with praise and the love of God instead of the mania that is going on now? We have Hindu families living in our neighborhood and across the street from us are two music instructors who are wonderful witnessing Christians who love praise and worship music. We have all kinds of electrical components here and the city supplied electric power. We even have a karaoke that can get pretty loud when needed. I would want the tent like structure to be open on all four sides and also, expandable for growing. Now for all those who would worry about our safety, the mayor is a member of our church, the sheriff is a member of our church, the police chief is the brother of one of the full gospel churches, and there are only 2 families that are not Believers. I would invite them to come and join us and get acquainted with all of the locals there. Kind of a reverse Hay Ride sort of thing. You do remember hayrides don't you.

I can tell you, my mind is already picturing what all we could do and it would be great. Have a BBQ and buffet going under the tent covering and everyone bring a folding chair or two. Wonder what would happen if we all began thinking about the different areas we could bring the unbelievers together with the people of The Way?

Well, now to get busy taking down our equipment so we can get the new fiber optic set up.

Love you all, and "Keep Looking Up" like Marge used to say,
Grany

Here's a way for the Christian persecution to begin that I hadn't considered before. The Glenn Beck show on Fox News (the only reason I watch Fox News) had a story on last night (Feb. 19) about a proposed gun law in Illinois. (If you go to the Glenn Beck section of the Fox News website, you can look for the story "Taking Aim at Second Amendment" to see the video.)

In short, the Illinois State Legislature has proposed a law requiring any gun owner to carry a $1 Million (!) insurance policy against the gun (or guns) "covering any damages resulting from negligent or willful acts involving the use of such firearm while it is owned by such person."

Ignore for the moment that there are no companies out there right now that offer any such policies. Considering the cost of any such policies if/when they're offered, it makes owning a gun too expensive. Gun ownership hasn't been outlawed (a violation of the 2nd Amendment), it's simply unaffordable.

Now, consider churches. All churches hold insurance policies against theft, arson, etc. The majority of policies carried by most churches also include provisions to protect the church against misdeeds by the rabbit/priest/minister. Imagine what would happen if the insurance industry started putting "defamation riders" on the churches' insurance policies: addendums that cover the church in case someone sues the church for defamation, such as, I don't know, preaching against homosexual marriage. All it would take is one lawsuit, and the cost of carrying defamation insurance would rise to the point where churches couldn't afford their insurance.

This scenario carries too many implications to go into here: would insurance companies allow churches to opt out of defamation coverage, or would the insurance companies simply declare that defamation is not covered, much like homeowners insurance doesn't cover flood damage? How would YOUR church react to the possibility of paying out exorbitant amounts of money for preaching the Gospel?

Alesia and Lori, I took so long in getting my comment posted (Jim had to eat something) that there are now three comments regarding the Abort BO sign in OK City. Great minds, you know run in circles. Is that the way that saying goes?

JIM C. The opposition party is the one Ehud Barak is associated with, the Labor party in Israel. But even though you have nailed some of it, there is far more to the picture and the criticism than meets the eye.

In the first place, God does not want Israel to be dependent on the USA, or any other benefactor. They are to turn completely to Him. Trying to please the politicians in Washington, D. C. is the reason they are in the shape they are in now. Tell them all to go home and stop letting a haughty nose dictate to God's Holy City. It doesn't belong to man, and it is to be kept Holy! What is there about Holy that man cannot understand or for that matter, desire?

We don't go to Russia and tell them how to run their government and neither should other countries interfere with Israel. I have enough to be concerned about that is my own business; when we can get all of our problems solved and our nations deficits in order, then we can help them like we are supposed to do. But only if they ask us for our help in making decisions. Our financial help should be without strings too.

Now, stepping down from my soup box, I will get back to disconnecting my computer and getting ready for the big change over. By the way, I meant to say Soup, cause that is what we are having today for lunch, supper, breakfast tomorrow, lunch, supper, etc. lol @;O}} (DOUBLE CHIN)

It is cause for concern when you see some of the policies of our present Gov and how they intend to implement them. I think that they will attempt to silence the opposition thru some version of the fairness doctrine though. The primary way that they will use probably will be some type of economic penilties like they are trying with gun control. Then when it is shown to work, they can just ammend the bill of rights for the good of all the people. No use coming in the front door when one of the side entrances will do just fine, and will not draw as much attention either.

Turek vs. Hitchens Debate: Does God Exist?

http://vimeo.com/1904911

Sorry it is not a blue link. This was first posted at Jack Kinsella's blog and shows more than anything how much hate Hitchens has. He frequently states untrue things about Christianity and it show how much he does not know about the subject. I have prayed that God would open his eyes to His true nature. It is sad that near the end of the debate he states what life means to him and what he hopes for after death.

I hope you all don't mind my posting this entire message from Joel Rosenberg....it seems important enough to post the whole thing:

Netanyahu Gets the Nod as the UN Says Iran Has Enough Uranium To Build First Bomb

By Joel C. Rosenberg

Benjamin Netanyahu received the official word today from Israeli President Shimon Peres that he has six weeks to put together a coalition to lead the next government of Israel. The announcement came as the U.N. announced that Iran now has enough highly enriched uranium to build its first nuclear weapon.

Given the seriousness of the growing crisis with Iran, Netanyahu is calling for a broad “unity government” that would include Tzipi Livni’s Kadima party.

“For decades we have not withstood so many challenges at the same time,” said Netanyahu. “To face up to these challenges we need to join hands and unite all the forces within the people. I call on all parties, those who recommended me and those who didn’t. I turn to [Kadima leader Tzipi] Livni and to [Labor leader Ehud] Barak — let us join hands and pledge for the future of Israel. I hope to meet with you first and discuss a wide unity government.”
Livni, however, today said she refuses to serve with Netanyahu.

”Today, the foundations of a right-wing extremist government under Netanyahu were set,” Livni wrote in a text message sent to 80,000 Kadima members. “The path of such a government is not our own and we have nothing to look for there. You didn’t vote for us in order to provide a kosher certificate for a right-wing government, and we need to provide an alternative of hope from the opposition.”
The big question for Netanyahu, however, may not be how best to form his government, but how his government — whatever form it takes — will interact President Barack Obama, given the deep fissures between the two men over how to stop Iran from becoming a nuclear-armed power.

“Iran is developing nuclear weapons and poses the greatest threat to our existence since the War of Independence,” said Netanyahu. “Iran’s terror wings surround us from the north and south”
Based on my conversations with Israel’s next Prime Minister, I believe Netanyahu fundamentally understands the apocalyptic, genocidal Islamic eschatology driving Iran’s current leaders. By contrast, I am convinced that President Obama and Secretary of State Clinton do not understand at all the End Times beliefs of the current leaders of Iran, and are thus making wrong policy choices based on their lack of understanding.

Let us pray, therefore, that as Mr. Netanyahu forms his government and then meets with President Obama and top U.S. leaders, that he is able to help American officials understand who they are dealing with in Tehran, and find a way to work together to stop Iran before it is too late.

This is interesting. I work for the state of Oregon. They issued their most recent economic forecast on Friday. It includes a bunch of economic information for the nation as a whole. Look at page 19 of this pdf document (page number 11). It has a number of graphs for various economic indicators.

Keep in mind the graphs include past economic performance as well as predicted future performance.

I think the graphs show that our economy fell off a cliff and is in freefall. For some reason, the pros think there will be a sudden reversal (indicated by the upward trends they predict for the coming years).

I hope they are correct but I seriously doubt they are.

Transfiguration of Jesus
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Today I had a major Lutheran flashback. My little one had "Spring Sing" @ the Church which is attached to her preschool & so we sat through the service.

For the Lutherans today they celebrate "Transfiguration Day" & the pastor spent quite a bit of time on Elijah & Elisha. He did a nice sermon but the way it's formatted w/the traditional hymns, chants, & formalities-I can also see how quickly one could be going through the motions & loose the spontaneity & heartfelt zeal in worship. His white robe & many of the accoutrement’s are a left over probably from Catholicism as it has that flair to it. He did however do a powerpoint of Elijah & Elisha's names in Hebrew-what they mean & looks like he's into studying the Jewish customs & such.

I enjoyed it anyway but was happy to get back to my less traditionally structured Church for the 2nd service.

What Lutheran Pastor did bring up that stood out was the passage in Malachi where it states Elijah will return before the Day of the Lord & how the Jews still keep customs which relate to that event.
(Is this the Holy Spirit telling us something? I wonder if Elijah is going to be back soon!!!)

Tonight I'm going back to Church to see a special presentation from Masab Yousef.

He was featured on a Fox News documentary entitled, "Escape from Hamas" & is the son of one of Hamas's founders which has created quite a stir in the Arab community.

If you want to see some video on him Here is a link

The guy with the videos (johnrigs123) is convinced this was a test of Bluebeam or HAARP. I followed some of his video links to learn what Bluebeam and HAARP are.

It's totally wierd. To get the full extent, you have to watch two of his videos. They both have the same name, and you tell the difference because the first video is 10:14 and the second one is 10:11.

The point of these technologies is that they allow 3D images to be projected into the air. There is also technology that is being used now in advertising that allow sound to be focused on a particular person or group of persons, so you believe you're hearing a spirit whisper to you.

Imagine what would happen if this technology was used to make it appear that spacecraft were preparing to invade Earth. Imagine if this Maitreya character used this to show Jesus and the Mahdi merging into one figure -- himself.

Scarey.

Jim G. said...

Speaking of this Maitreya character...

I don't think we should focus too much on false prophets but this guy takes the cake!!!

Google the name and go to the site with Maitreya ending in org. I don't even want to dignify it with a blue link. Claims to be the Lion from the Tribe of Judah. His aim is to have "One World, One Humanity, One Savior, One God."

Tons of Scripture used out of context to reel Christians in. Total deception all over the website.

Interestingly, he talks about seals in relationship to uniting all religions. To plagiarize one of my favorite quotes from the movie Princess Bride, (in regard to how this Maitreya character uses the word "seal") I don't think that word means what he thinks it means.

Check out his "Letter to humanity and their leaders".

Anyway, I feel like we're on a roller coaster that has just crested the top of a very tall climb. Hold on folks!!!

17After that, we who are still alive and are left will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And so we will be with the Lord forever.

18Therefore encourage each other with these words.

Hey Jim,
Did you see Minority Report (with Tom Cruise)? The Bluebeam stuff reminds me of a scene in that movie where shoppers walking past stores would hear targeted sales pitches made just for them..."Hello Mr. Smith! Did you know we are having a sale on jeans today? We have your favorite style in stock...36 slim. Why don't you come on in and take a look?"
Also, I noticed on Fox that they now have a video board that interacts by the reporter just pointing at graphics on it. No need for a remote or clicker like the weathermen use. They debuted it after the Hudson River plane landing. The reporter could rotate/shrink/zoom on graphics of the plane just by pointing to it and moving his hands. That was also featured in Minority Report.

Makes you wonder what else is already developed that hasn't been debuted yet...

Blessings,
Jen

On April 2, there is the G20 meeting in London -- the London Summit. London is where Maitreya has been living for the past few years.

I had a bit of a shock when I found the website for the London Summit. When I opened the web page, the headline read, "Poor countries’ voices will be heard at the London Summit – Malloch-Brown"

I'm sure it doesn't mean anything...

It was not shown how-so he's hoping that it would be from an earthqake since if someone were to blow it up intentionally he feels the Arabs would go nuts & it could literally start WW3.

Nate

that was an interesting article about the non event. however I would have to say his main assumptions are wrong if I read the article correctly. The main point being that all Christianity has to agree of a date in time of a wedding coming-I think he has failed to an extent to take into account the true nature of Jewish wedding custom (there being no agreed upon date for the wedding in ancient Jewish culture as in our culture or even modern Jewish culture)-but also in the point that all agreed that 2008 for the feast of Trumpets was the timing of the event. All did not agree and all do not agree that the Rapture must or will take place on any Jewish holiday let alone the feast of trumpets. there are those (I forget which of the prophecy folks I was reading but remember that he is very well known and thought of-strikes me that is was the guy at Rapture Ready), myself included, who think that the remaining feasts to be fulfilled by Christ will be fulfilled at His Second Coming which has nothing to do with the Rapture except that the Rapture must happen first.

personally I find some of the research compelling but only that the last eclipse that happens in 2015 is just before the midpoint of the Trib and not the end of the Trib. which would make 2012 the start of the trib-perhaps the Mayan day of endings is actually the day the Trib starts.

I would also note that he doesn't believe in the classical imminency of the Rapture since he stated that it was now only imminent after all had agreed (which they didn't) and the Bridegroom was delayed. interesting way of looking at it at it though.

From Chambers

The Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve . . . —Matthew 20:28

Jesus also said, "Yet I am among you as the One who serves" (Luke 22:27). Paul’s idea of service was the same as our Lord’s— ". . . ourselves your bondservants for Jesus’ sake" ( 2 Corinthians 4:5 ). We somehow have the idea that a person called to the ministry is called to be different and above other people. But according to Jesus Christ, he is called to be a "doormat" for others— called to be their spiritual leader, but never their superior. Paul said, "I know how to be abased . . ." (Philippians 4:12 ). Paul’s idea of service was to pour his life out to the last drop for others. And whether he received praise or blame made no difference. As long as there was one human being who did not know Jesus, Paul felt a debt of service to that person until he did come to know Him. But the chief motivation behind Paul’s service was not love for others but love for his Lord. If our devotion is to the cause of humanity, we will be quickly defeated and broken-hearted, since we will often be confronted with a great deal of ingratitude from other people. But if we are motivated by our love for God, no amount of ingratitude will be able to hinder us from serving one another.

Paul’s understanding of how Christ had dealt with him is the secret behind his determination to serve others. "I was formerly a blasphemer, a persecutor, and an insolent man . . ." ( 1 Timothy 1:13 ). In other words, no matter how badly others may have treated Paul, they could never have treated him with the same degree of spite and hatred with which he had treated Jesus Christ. Once we realize that Jesus has served us even to the depths of our meagerness, our selfishness, and our sin, nothing we encounter from others will be able to exhaust our determination to serve others for His sake.

Mac, I truly feel for your back situation. Been there, done that and it hurts. Back in the early 80's I spent over 18 months laying on the carpeted concrete floor, with a quilt to soften the hardness of the concrete. Then on July 7, 1990, I went to a prayer meeting held in the Methodist Church parsonage where we all sang songs of praise and worship as loud as we could. Most of the people there were choir members who could fill any cathedral with their voices. We then entered into praying for the needs of the community and the nation and it was wonderful. After the prayer session was completed we all had refreshments. During that time, a lady told me that Saturday we would find easy and soft chairs to sit on since ours were the wooden kitchen table chairs. I responded that I couldn't do the soft chair promise because of my back. She asked more questions and then called our pastor over. He is Holy Spirit filled and all of those wonderful people were too. They laid hands on me, prayed and first thing I knew I was on the floor. When I left the parsonage, I was completely healed by the power of God. That healing has endured to this date because of those prayers, God's touch and fighting every attempt that Satan made to rob me of the healing. God still heals and it is His Will that we walk in that healing. I am going to pray for your healing Mac because that is His Will for you.

If we can turn a storm away with the name of Jesus, if we can believe for our salvation through the name of Jesus, then we should be able to take him at his word and accept the victory of healing by His Stripes you are healed.

Thanks Mac,

I enjoyed the other one you posted as well-I'll check these out.

I printed out the Pre-Trib Research link & I plan to get through that one too-It's L O N G.

It seems that I gain a little snippet of knowledge from every one's thoughts on the matter regardless of what view they hold.

Well, we'll eventually all know one way or another. My problem is that I'll give something a rest but I never give up w/this inquiring mind of mine. It takes a lickin & keeps on tickin. (:

so my bad news from work

the head of the board died after a rather fast illness at the end of December. The CEO of the hospital just resigned and they put the CNO (chief nursing officer) in charge. The CEO I had some differences with and like most administrators he talks out both sides of his mouth but he had a true passion to make our hospital the best it could be to serve our community the best that it could. The CNO is the WORST possible choice to lead the hospital at this time. She is a micromanager, is ineffective as a CNO and she is the sole reason we were several million $$$ over budget with our computer system at the hospital with her micromanaging. Combine that with the fact that the hospital has 10 million dollar losses over the last 4-6 quarters, 88 million debt and they are nickling and diming us to death with loss of things to "shore up the bottom line". the most recent example is it costs the hosptial 150k to feed the docs breakfast and lunch 5 days a week for an entire year. not any more. we lost our cardiac rehab program several years ago, we lost our acute rehab program a few years ago, our subacute rehab program last year or maybe the year before, we had 23 holds in the ER last wednesday because we had no beds (actually we have plenty of beds we just have no staff to take care of them. we have 2 full wings on 2 floors that are sitting completely empty and one has never been used at all. they said it takes 8 patients to open up another wing yet with 23 holds in the ER they didn't bother). then they turn around and complain to the docs how we're not admitting enough people. we are also self insured for med mal as well. so yea buddy, lets put the ineffective micro manager at the helm of the hospital after she's already cost us MILLIONS in cost overruns. AND the real kicker is-the board wants us to remain and independent community owned hospital. I think however they just put the nail in that coffin. Might be why the CEO is suddenly leaving-their visions no longer mesh. He hasn't even told his staff what he wants done with the stuff in his office!

sooo, not sure what will be happening with the hospital and as I am a specialist I absolutely need a hospital. the next closest isn't really reasonable at this point (due to some of the regulations at our hospital)-we'll see how reasonable it becomes at 45 minutes away. will there even be a hospital-more than likely. will it be a place I want to work-that is the question. there are significant pros and cons of the hospital being bought out by a large conglomeration.

with insurances paying less, the new regs that will be coming into play with the behemoth spending bill, the one thing I was counting on was a little stability on the small scale which I now will not have either. I am a creature of habit and I hate change good and bad but I especially hate bad change and this new change at the hospital is a bit like BHO being POTUS with Pelosi as speaker of the house only on a much smaller scale. I actually like the CNO as a person but I truly think she is in WAAAAAY over her head as acting CEO.

sooo, if the Zion Oil thing turns into a success that would be a most welcome thing.

Does it help you avoid temptation when you know it lies ahead?

A prudent person foresees the danger ahead and takes precautions; the simpleton goes blindly on and suffers the consequences. Proverbs 22:3 NLT

Anticipating danger

Interestingly, this proverb expects that dangerous situations will arise in our lives. If these situations are indeed inevitable, then we should plan a course of action. For some people taking action means devising endless preventative measures. Still others feel that taking precautions implies that they are not living in faith. Neither of these solutions displays a balanced trust in God.

We must examine where our confidence lies. Are we really trusting in God? Trusting does not mean that we should purposely step into pitfalls. If we see ourselves heading for danger, we can take precautions to avoid the situation. We lack faith when we feel that we alone possess the strength to conquer any temptation. Humbly anticipating our weaknesses will allow us to bypass harsh consequences.

WISE WAYS Is there a specific temptation you face continually during the week? Take steps to avoid situations that foster that behavior before you come to them.

Lord, help me to live wisely by knowing my weaknesses and anticipating dangerous situations.

Without temptation no sin would be committed; and without temptation no holiness could be attained. The human wrecks that seem beyond all capacity of repair and refitting, and victorious athletes of righteousness whom their fellowmen adore, are alike the products of temptation.

If anyone comes to the Epicenter conference-let me know. I'll be there, of course. How could I miss it in my backyard? Even hubby wants to go this time.

I have a praise report. My bio-dad (who is the LAST person I would suspect of going to Church in the family) took my mom (his mom-I'm adopted.) to a nice Baptist Church this past Sunday. They both liked it so they are going again this Sunday.

My hubby thinks bio-dad is scheming up something w/this action but even so- we all know God can turn around any negative situation into a positive one. I pray they both accept the Lord & are filled w/the Holy Spirit.

If this actually happens-I will be so shocked I'm at a loss of words.

Lisa,
I watched that video on the internet shutdown by Alex Jones. I found it very interesting. I don't know anything about Alex Jones or his web sites, can you fill me in a little? Do you trust his information? I watch and listen to alot of Glenn Beck and trust his reporting but my internet will not let me listen to his show on that radio station anymore, it keeps fading in and out!
Thanks for the info.

Lisa,

You, without words? Never! Christ will come first, mark my word!

I got started accessing all of the links posted here and I feel a little dizzy! Boy, most of it is good stuff but and the scary stuff, well, I have a new resolution--only the things that will help me build my faith. I have a reason for it. I know what a lot of the strange lights in the sky most probably are, I can't do anything about them except pray for the safety of the pilots and the engineers. The swift move towards a one world government is out of my hands for the time being and Solana isn't the AC. So, all of that being said, I can pray for JIB's situation to resolve and I will. I really enjoyed Mac's links and even put them on my hard drive for further study.

Now I have to fix brunch for hubby and I so we can get on with this hectic life. The reason for the hectic part, it takes a lot of energy just moving from one chair to the next and finding my shoes that I keep kicking off is a real challenge for the day.

Shalom everyone,
Grany

truer words-I got into quite a tizzy with watching Glenn Beck and took a break to regain so perspective and did a little Christian fiction reading which helped (I'm currently reading the AD Chronicles series by the Thoenes and they are quite interesting and have Bible studies in the back of the books!) thanks for the prayers. the medical field will only be in more flux as time goes on. it also won't be pretty for the docs or the population at large.

I am also reading the AD Chronicles, but finding it harder and harder to find spare tine. I'm currently reading the 9th book.

Prayers going up for all the concerns expressed by everyone.

The following helps to keep me grounded and on my knees.

Jesus, speaking of the end times in Matthew 24:6, says,

"see that you be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet."

The Lord tells us not to be troubled, let us keep to His business and His assignments now more than ever.

In His love,

Hi all,
I came across this blog by accident last night and wanted to ask for prayers for the family. This young couple lost quadruplets this past weekend. I think the mom was about 22 weeks pregnant when she went into labor. (Incredibly, it seems they were conceived naturally.) My heart is broken for them and I know they will need lots of comfort and healing in the coming months.
Thank you.

Blessings,
Jen

Nate brother,

Relax. The market will eventually drop way lower than what you sold your shares at. Then you'll feel glad. God has the ultimate retirment planned for those who are in Christ;-)

By the way, I learned today that my hours may be cut in half! Things are still up in the air but I'm the sole provider for my wife and son and we have been having a tough time making it with me working full time.

I'm a bit anxious as well but I do know the Lord is our provider.

Something else if you're interested from our Christian Homeschool group:

CFS Families,

This was sent to me by my girlfriend back East. I wanted to share it with you, because I thought, wow! what if we all sent red envelopes - what a quiet and powerful way to speak on behalf of the unborn. In my care is a foster child who is 12 days old. I am happy to care for his needs. His mom spared his life because she knows how important a life is. Serving at His feet
~Tracy

Dear Friends,

This afternoon I was praying about a number of things, and my mind began to wander. I was deeply distressed at the symbolic actions that President Obama took as he began his presidency. Namely, that he signed executive orders releasing funds to pay for abortions, permission to fund human embryo stem cell research, and federal funding for contraception. I have been
involved in the pro-life movement for nearly 20 years, and it pained my heart to see a man and a political party committed to the shedding of innocent blood. This man, and this party lead our country, but they do not represent me or the 54% of Americans who believe that abortion is wrong
and should no longer be legal.

As I was praying, I believe that God gave me an interesting idea.

Out in the garage I have a box of red envelopes. Like the powerful image of the red LIFE tape, an empty red envelope will send a message to Barack Obama that there is moral outrage in this country over this issue. It will be quiet, but clear.

Here is what I would like you to do: Get a red envelope. You can buy them at Kinkos, or at party supply stores. On the front, address it to:

President Barack Obama
The White House
1600 Pennsylvania Ave. NW
Washington, D.C. 20500

On a note inside, write the following message:

“This envelope represents one child who died in abortion.

It is empty because that life was unable to offer anything to the world.Responsibility begins with conception.”

Put it in the mail, and send it. (We should all try to mail them at the same time; say on the weekend of Feb. 28-March 1st. That gives us a couple of weeks to pass the word as far and wide as we can.)

I wish we could send 50 million red envelopes, one for every child who died before having a chance to live. Maybe it will change the heart of the president. Of course, you can send a red envelope anytime you want, but getting lots at once may be more effective.

So pass the word!

"And all your children shall be taught of the Lord and great shall be the peace of your children." Isaiah 54:13

Thought for pondering: I think it is such a good visual image of the Father sending us answers/blessings and we never open them or allow them to unfold their purpose.

Like the man who prayed "God, send us a cure for cancer." And God said, "I did, but you killed the child who would one day reveal the cure." Wonder how many answers/blessings we have destroyed?

Lisa, at the bottom of that opening page, there is a link that says "About Us". I know you probably don't recognize the name of this man Herbert W. Armstrong but those of us who are old enough and been around this monkey bush long enough, do!

Here is what is written on the "About Us" page:

ABOUT THE TRUMPET

TheTrumpet.com is the official website of the Philadelphia Trumpet newsmagazine. Each weekday, theTrumpet.com features reporting and analysis of recent global geopolitical, economic, social and religious events and trends.

The Trumpet magazine, which began in February 1990, is published 10 times a year by the Philadelphia Church of God. It is available by subscription absolutely free.

The Trumpet uses a single overarching criterion that sets it apart from other news sources and keeps it focused like a laser beam on what truly is important. That criterion is prophetic significance. The Trumpet seeks to show how current events are fulfilling the biblically prophesied description of the prevailing state of affairs just before the Second Coming of Jesus Christ.

The Trumpet has a long history of accurate forecasting of major global events based on this predictive model, tracing back to the beginnings of the Plain Truth magazine in 1934 under the direction of Herbert W. Armstrong. To explore these forecasts, read our sample issue, called “He Was Right!—Remembering five decades of accurate forecasting by Herbert W. Armstrong.”

Subscribers to the Trumpet receive the benefit of having full access online to the latest issue several days before it hits newsstands and mailboxes, as well as previous issues back to March-April 1998. As a subscriber, you will also receive the semi-annual subscriber letter from editor in chief Gerald Flurry. Subscribing is simple and absolutely free of charge, with no follow-up or obligation." Grany,

I glanced @ the website but nothing stuck out as strange. And-you are right- I have no clue about Armstrong but thanks to you-I do now.

I wonder why my friend thinks it's so great. He goes to my church & has the same end time beliefs so?

Do you see anything weird listed that would have an "Armstrong" belief lead-in to it?

Alf Cengia said...

Hi Lisa,

Grany is right, stay away from that site. It is definitely an off-shoot of the World Wide Church of God. Nate got it right – they are heretics. Check out the library section where they have books by H W Armstrong who saw himself as a modern day apostle who could do no wrong in the eyes of God – read license to commit certain types of sin. He got most of his teachings through plagiarising the SDA and a few others. You can do a Google search on both Herbert Armstrong and his son, Garner Ted and find all sorts of sordid stuff I won’t mention here.

Late Night Lisa said...

That's enough info for me.
Another false prophet chalk up. I forwarded the warnings to my friend who sent me the link.

So now I can add Hubert & Ted Armstrong, The Trumpet & their splinter groups to the discernment list.

Hopefully my friend will also spread the word now that he'll know what's up w/that site.

Lisa, I just read your question about the Trumpet site. I feel Mac responded very well and I say AMEN to what he said.

But remember something, poison ivy doesn't look the least bit nasty while it is growing there in the natural but you get too close and you are going to know that you have touched something that is not for your good. Same way with the Armstrong's religious material. All the new group has done is put a little decorations on the cake and called it new.

Kinda like the LDS
