Hi Mr. Hyde,
Are you going to add more
or, is this all we get?

What can I say? I like the blue background!
But I do NOT like music played on a harpsichord - sorry!
Did you stumble into a cave with buried treasure? That would be cool.

Oh, I forgot...

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!

donna said...

Hi "Mr Hyde",

Hopefully we will be able to get a bunch of us to reconnect!

I should probably spend some time trying to set up a blog, too!

Alesia said...

Mr. Hyde,
I put word out on my blog (not that too many people go there) to hook up at your place. I also posted something on Wilma's blog as well.
Just to give you the head's up, since you so graciously offered.

Can you jump to my blog & check out the question I asked Donna? You very well may know the answer quickly & I need it for tomorrow.
Thanks,

My, My, Mr. Hyde!

I kinda like this hyde and seek game that we find ourselves in now that Joel's is remodeling.

A cave in Afghanistan huh! Sounds kinda cold and lacking but hey, any port in a storm will do on this last day (in the USA) of 2007. Right now it is 6:32 P.M. and the crazy news media is beating itself up replaying all of the headlines of the year. My kitty cat is setting beside me on the floor waiting to get the courage up to jump up on the table and check out what in the world I am doing pounding on this keyboard and I just finished off a peanut butter and jelly sandwich and a glass of wonderful milk. Life is good and things are looking up.

I miss all of you at Joel's but I reconnected my comments on my blog and I will get it up and running again with some new material Wednesday. Hubby and I are going to my daughter/son-in-laws tomorrow for our traditional News Years dinner AND for the bowl games. I would rather be scuba diving in Bonaire and complaining about the heat.

I want you all to know I am expecting great and wonderful things for each and everyone of you in this new year. We will have our hearts and minds in one accord to come to the fullness of God's grace and love.

Alesia, are you talking about Jesus remark that if we don't acknowledge him before man, he will not acknowlege us before the angels of God? If so here is the quote and reference.

"Luke 12:7-9 (New International Version)
New International Version (NIV)

7 Indeed, the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Don't be afraid; you are worth more than many sparrows.

8 "I tell you, whoever acknowledges me before men, the Son of Man will also acknowledge him before the angels of God. 9 But he who disowns me before men will be disowned before the angels of God."

Shalom children

Wilma, my love, thank you!
I'm getting a little dizzy jumping back & forth between mine & Mr. Hyde's place.

Between Mac, Donna & you, Wilma, I have excellent verses to quote to both my niece & my mother. So thank you all so much.

Please pray for my niece, Marlena, she has hit rock bottom & is really trying to grab onto something to bring herself back up from the mess she has created in her life. She just now has started coming back around me (she was too ashamed before) Today was her grandmother's - who raised her - funeral & I'm afraid she may slip back into bad ways. Please pray that she & my sister find the Lord. Not to be selfish but if you can throw up a prayer to have God help me, with the words coming out of my mouth, to bring them closer to Him, that would be most appreciated too :)

Alesia said...

I posted this at my place, but want to post here as well...

Mac - thank you, thank you!
That was even better than what I was looking for. How in the world did you find that?
That site is definitely going on my references list.
The answer is more for my mother, who got violent with me for saying that (she's catholic). After reading that, it looks like we're both right & wrong (but I still think I'm more right, in the point I was trying to make) LOL. She also got rather snippy when I started talking about the prophecies in the bible. Oh well - I try!

Mr Hyde said...

Just a warning to anyone creating a Google blog profile - make sure you check the country tab or you'll be assigned Afghanistan by default. One minute I'm sleeping in Mac's closet and suddenly I wake up in...Oh well, caves are OK for the socially inept. All I have to do is figure out how to turn it into a Hobbit type hole.

donna said...

LOL this is great!
I'm so glad we've been able to reconnect!

Thanks for letting us visit here with you, Mac...oops I mean, Mr Hyde!

Great Grany 5 said...

MR. Hyde! Try wallpapering it with something gaudy! Turns most caves into an adventure of another dimension.

Oh, it feels so good commenting again. I might just do a Teresita and comment, comment, comment. Nothing important to anyone or to make sense or anything like that. Just that inner voice trying to stop the echoes from getting so loud.

All joking and nasty remarks aside, we really do need to be praying for that person, whoever, and whatever they are. I was given some information that she is very prolific at a lot of blogs and is just as well thought of there too. That tells me this person is trying to be noticed and needs help really serious help! We have a heavenly Father who has just the right medicine and counsel for such a one. Let's all pray for her/him in love and ask Abba to apply the healing balm of Gilead to her. May the hound of heaven pursue and over take her; leading her to the safety and love of a living savior.

Just remember, at one time we were in as bad a shape as this person is in now. Then God!

Thank you Hydie for allowing us your cave security.

Shalom
Wilma

Sickness has run amok in my house again...as well as general holiday chaos...but I hope to be back in the swing of things soon. I am soooo missing my daily doses of Joel's family!

God Bless you and yours---and may He continue to bless you all in 2008!!

Either way Happy New Year to all!

well greeting and solutions-no problems only solutions!

Man I was sooooo going through withdrawal!

I have Boatman's blog bookmarked and have daveschatologies email address so can let them know.

Anyone have Nate's blog site? I know alot of folks just went blue to have a blue name and never set up their blog-like Jeri in SA and Grumpy had just gotten his up but never bookmarked it. Guess when and if Joel's get's up and running we need to encourage the few that don't have places to leave comments to set up something and check every so often in case this comes up again.

i hadn't realized that the comments had gone beyond the indelicate topic and gotten really foul. three cheers for Lori for getting things to their notice.

man i saw so many things today that I wanted to link to and share with you all and was bummed because I couldn't. no i don't remember where they all were. drat.

Happy New Year guys and stay safe

Been there done that. Really let my hair down - had 2 apple ciders.

Hi JIB!
If & when Joel's gets back up, I am immediately going to link everyone I can to my blog. I never realized this could happen - that we could lose touch with everyone! How sad - I miss everyone.

Donna - Mac, er, Mr. Hyde is 16 hours ahead of us, so it's already 2008 for him! What I don't understand is why the time is screwed up here. Our posts are saying they are 3 hours behind. I looked up Afghanistan's time, since he's living in a cave, but that time isn't right either - weird.

Well, it's a 1/2 hour away from the ball dropping - HAPPY NEW YEAR everyone!!!

Alesia said...

Mac - oooh you scandalous, heathen, couldn't just stop at 1 ;)

See how boring I am? I'm sitting home, by myself, at my computer.
I did celebrate by eating the rest of my daughter's coffee ice cream!
That was my gluttonous act - how sad!

Alesia

the problem would be that so many don't actually have a place to leave a comment. I have Jeri in SA's blog bookmarked for all the good it does since he has no place to leave a comment. I just happened to think, he did email Dave for pics of his kids so maybe Dave still has his email address.

Anyone ever bookmark Grumpy? I know Marge had left him a message but she probably didn't book mark it. I was going to when Joel's went down.

Jim Carroll also has no place to leave comments and although I've gone through quite a bit of Wilma's old blogs have yet to find Nate Lewis although I did find Angie which will reach Stacey, Forgiven Daughter and Shelia, Grace and a few others but when i went to their blogs they hadn't posted anything new on their blogs in months so not sure if they'd get this prior to Joel's being back up. i also found Robin but alas no place to leave a note.

I found Harold's, Jeri's and Grumpy's posts over at David Lowe's Earthquake Resurrection. But they haven't got any contact points. I'm sure Joel's site will be back up and running soon.

Hello, hello, hello!

Just happened to see the comment on Sheila's blog and found you y'all were here! It's so wonderful to "see" you again!

I spent most of the evening with friends from church. I got really wild and mixed sparkling cherry fruit juice and sparkling apple cider!

We all had a wonderful time talking about our goals for the new year. The common thread was knowing God, studying His word, being obedient, and finding out our purpose. We sang and prayed. It was wonderful.

I've missed everyone so much! And I'm grateful to Wilma for alerting us to "Teresita's" new ID. I couldn't see it, but had no doubt she was correct. It wasn't until a few days later that I could see it myself.

I missed the last days at Joel's because I got food poisoning after Christmas. I guess it got much worse.

I hope everyone has a great 2008 (it's only 11 p.m. here on the left coast), that it's a year of increasinging intimacy with God, and a year of giving and receiving blessings.

I thought Grumpy had a site set up cuz I seem to recall seeing him tell Marge and either Alesia or Angie that he hadn't checked his email and so hadn't noticed that they had left comments. may be he disabled the site due to his tormentor at Joel's.

Ah well I shall have to search the net and see what I can find for news today

Alesia said...

Mac, Donna & Wilma,
This is so freaky...
I receive an email each day called God's Daily Promises (I think others do too) Yesterday's (which I didn't check until today) is right in line with the question that I asked of all of you!

How do you see God as Father?

To all who believed him and accepted him, he gave the right to become children of God.
John 1:12 NLT

God's fatherhood

Most people in the world would agree with the statement that "we are all God's children." It's a nice sentiment. It just isn't what the Bible teaches. According to God's Word, unrepentant sinners are actually God's enemies (see Romans 5:10 and Colossians 1:21)! It's only when we put our trust in the Lord Jesus Christ that we are reconciled to God and experience forgiveness and adoption into God's forever family (Galatians 4:5; Ephesians 1:5).

For a Christian going through hard times, this "adoption" truth is the best of all possible news. God is not just the powerful Creator or a righteous Lord, he is a loving Father. He sees your trials. He listens to your pleas. He cares and protects and supports. He is never harsh or impatient with you. He is never "too busy" for you.

Take all the best qualities of all the best earthly dads you've ever seen, add them together, and multiply by infinity. That's the kind of heavenly Father God is to Christians who hurt.

Lord Jesus, I do believe in you. I have accepted you as my Savior and Lord. Thank you for revealing yourself to me. Thank you for saving me! Because of your grace and my faith, I am a child of the living God. I praise you. What a privilege! What joy to know that in every situation I have a loving, wise, and good heavenly Father to counsel and help me.

Isn't that amazing!!!

Here's an article that's peaked my interest:

Specter: Syrian leader ready for peace with Israel

December 31, 2007

By ALBERT AJI The Associated Press

DAMASCUS, Syria — Syria's president is ready for peace with Israel, Sen. Arlen Specter said Sunday after talks with the leader.

Specter, a Pennsylvania Republican, said the United States had the potential to "bridge the gap" between the two countries, which have not held peace talks since 2000. He said it would be essential that Israel return the disputed Golan Heights region to Syria.

Specter, a member of the Senate Appropriations Committee, and Rep. Patrick Kennedy, a Rhode Island Democrat and member of the House Appropriations Committee, held talks with Syrian President Bashar Assad on the last day of their two-day visit to Damascus.

Specter said he had the impression from the meeting that the time was very "positive for productive talks between Israel and Syria."

"There is a sense that he (Assad) is ready and the Syrian public opinion is ready (for peace)," Specter said.

The atmosphere is "very different in Damascus today and is very different in Jerusalem today" in part because of last month's U.S.-sponsored Mideast peace conference in Annapolis, Md., which Syria attended, Specter said.

In 2000, formal U.S.-sponsored Israel-Syria talks neared agreement but broke down over final border and peace arrangements. Syria demands the full return of the Golan Heights, the territory seized by Israel in the 1967 Mideast war.

"I think it is fair and accurate to say. If there is no Golan return, there is no (peace) deal, that is the core of the deal," Specter told a news conference before leaving Damascus.

Specter declined to confirm reports that he would convey a message to Assad from Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Olmert on resuming peace talks between the two countries.

Relations between Syria and the U.S. appeared to warm briefly following Syria's attendance at the Annapolis conference.

But both sides have since lashed out at one another, each accusing the other of meddling in Lebanon, where the Western-backed government is locked in a political standoff with the pro-Syrian opposition. The country has been without a president since Nov. 23, when pro-Syrian Emile Lahoud stepped down without a successor.

Syria effectively controlled Lebanon for almost three decades but was forced to withdraw its troops in 2005 after the assassination of former Lebanese Prime Minister Rafik Hariri.

French President Nicolas Sarkozy said Sunday that France was cutting off talks with Syria until Damascus shows its willingness to let Lebanon elect a new president.

"I will not have any more contact with the Syrians until … we have received proof of Syria's intention to let Lebanon designate a president of consensus," said Sarkozy at a press conference in Cairo after meeting with Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak.

France, Lebanon's former colonial ruler, has led the international effort to mediate between feuding Lebanese politicians and has consistently implored the Syrians to cooperate.

Syrian Information Minister Mohsen Bilal called Sarkozy's comments "surprising," telling Syrian state television that Damascus was "working with France to reach an agreement on a president who represents all Lebanese."

donna said...

Just to clarify, unless I am mistaken, many folks think the AC may be Syrian and the "false prophet" Jewish.

No one's upset with you for it - it should have been reported.

I wrote on my blog, I emailed Scott Miller from Joel's website & received an auto-reply back saying he was out until 1/2/08. I suspect Joel's will be back up on Weds. or shortly thereafter.

Hopefully he'll be back up soon. It has been kinda fun to have this covert hiding place - at least we're not being bothered by the mice & you know who.

Wow what a cool poster for Bush!

Does anyone know of a 'blog for dummies' instruction type thing that might be available?

Alesia said...

Donna - yeah, maybe we need to read more about that guy, very interesting article you found.

Great poster Lori.

I have a bizarre question...
Has anyone else noticed that there are an astronomical amount of people AND pets dying recently?
Since the summer, I have personally heard of about 30 peoples pets dying. In the last 2 months, I have gone to so many people's wakes & funerals, I literally have lost count. In the past week alone, I have known of 5 people who have died.

That seems VERY curious to me & wonder if others are seeing this happen as well.

campsmore said...

Alesia,

I felt the same way about the pets, but thank our Lord I haven't experienced the death end.

My beautiful siberian husky died on August 6th. She went fast. ON a Monday she had the runs, by Thursday she was gone. The vet found nodules on her liver.

I have noticed a number of "well-known" Christians going to be with the Lord.

Jerry Falwell, Tammy Faye, Herb Peters, and I'm sure there are many more.

Was it because of "Teresita" that the comments were closed down at Joel's? Denying "her" another forum is a good thing, but I suspect if the comments return, this poster is the type of person to keep checking and waiting and to start posting again. It was clear that the majority of regular posters didn't want "her" there, yet "she" kept coming back.

Re president Nicolas Sarkozy, if it is true his mother was Jewish, then the current "Law of Return" in Israel means he too is considered Jewish and could make aliya there.

In JIB's post, the linked article says:

Needs more investigation.....could be very interesting.

I personally am of the opinion that one is Jewish irrelevant of whether it is a drop or not but if his mother is Jewish it would be more than a drop!

Per Dr. Frucht however the rules of whether one is Jewish or not depends on whether one is using the scripture or Judaism. Interesting dichotomy. His answer basically says that Scripture traces Jewishness via the Paternal line not maternal but Judaism traces Jewishness via the maternal line. Dr Frucht goes on to say that when the father is Gentile and the mother is Jewish (such as Timothy in the New Testament) apparently biblically the child can then choose which to be identified with.

Not sure when such a child would have to choose but perhaps the president of France bears watching. He seems very pro Israel and be degrees more "powerful" than other French presidents. Combine that with the other link about some in Israel feeling that the US is passe and they should cozy up more to Sarkozy and one wonders.

Alf Cengia said...

I agree with your thoughts; especially the last paragraph, Jib. I was intrigued when I first came across Sarkozy and when I found about his Jewish roots my ears pricked up. I found out that he had an affinity for both the US and Israel and presidential aspirations. What struck me about him was his intolerance to the Muslim rioting when everyone else was trying to appease them. Like you, I also consulted Fruchtenbaum so we shouldn't jump to any conclusions here. There are lots of interesting possible scenarios to ponder at the moment - we can only watch and pray.

Shalom, all!

Angie and Alisia, I wouldn't be too quick to blame the outage on Teresita. There were too many Anonymouses posting, and the writing style struck me as more of one of them than Teresita. (Not saying it couldn't have been, just that it didn't seem her style.)

My question is if Joel's will be the same as before, or if it will move to verified identity only, or if he'll get someone to approve postings. Verified identity (posting in blue) is worse than useless, since all it means is that there's an email address out there in AOL Land that the person is using. It's the illusion of security rather than the substance of security. (I knew a person who kept his password written on a post-it, but figured it was secure because he moved the post-it to a new location every month.)

I'll be spending more time reading everyone's posts later, as I'm trying to get the computer I built for my daughter for Christmas to actually boot. TTYL!

Jim - Give me a break already, will you.

Did you witness what happened the day Joel's shut down? I did & so did Campsmore.

This is what I posted on my blog to let people know what happened - Campsmore & Grumpy, for sure, can verify:

Here's what happened...
You know there were the nasty mice posts regarding Grumpy - well that morning there were a few anonymice comments & then Francine threw in a few dumb posts as well. Grumpy accused Francine (Teresita, whomever) of being one of the mice & for being Teresita. She went ballistic - she wrote a F*** you, grumpy, post along with several more choice sware words.
The funny thing is she didn't deny she was Teresita, she was just really mad about being accused of posting anonymously.
Lori (campsmore) I believe reported her to the webmaster & about 15 minutes later the comment section was shut down.

Please know what you're talking about before accusing me of gossip or making presumptions.

So, if they will leave a comment and an email address to contact them at, I will respond to their message as quickly as I get it. That way, it remains safe.

I also, went to David Lowe's blog on Earthquake Resurrection and left a note there in case one of them would come by. That would alert Grumpy, Harold and Jeri SA.

Boatman, what a wonderful surprise and I have been thinking of you so much lately. I just have this great big unction that God is getting you ready for a huge move into the ministry that you have been groomed for. You are such a blessing to all of us and I wish I could relate more of what I am feeling regarding this move, but that is all I have right now.

Lori, are you going to let them know the other ID's that you found? I am more convinced now than ever that there has to be some very concentrated prayer go up for the Wanna Bee of "T" and I mean dedicated intercession of the Holy Kind.

Anonymous might not have been her but I am sure it was Francine/Teresita/Linux Gal/Drive by Blogger/etc. that has contributed so much trash. One thing I do know, Joel's administrators will be able to determine the ID if they so desire to.

If I had the right credentials I could do it for you. It isn't that hard to do.

Judy, Angie and what a delight!

Well, I have to go study some more. I am in the middle of Ezekiel and I am not wanting to put it down. Oh, guys and dolls, there is so much more to it than we first believed.

Talk to you later, and I will keep trying to get in touch with some more.

Love and slobbers,
Wilma

I love you too! I took longer to post than I had planned and didn't see you there. Or, it might be that I need to clean my glasses again.

I hope you and your family have kicked that wicked bug right out of your home. Besides, by His stripes you are healed and no poisonous snake has the right to bite you anyway.

Someone, go check what i posted new on my blog and see if you think there is anything else that needs to be added, Pretty please with cream and sugar on it!.

Love you all,

Perfect Wilma!
How did you know that people came to your site if they didn't comment? Was it just based on the number of visitors or do you have some other way of checking?

I'm a little worried because I know Teresita, at one point, had my blog in her favorites. She could easily read my blog & then jump over here. Should I delete all the posts that direct folks here? But then, if someone we know & love goes to my blog, they won't know to come here. What to do?

Alesia, leave your comments on your blog. Let's not worry over something that may not happen. And if it does, we'll deal with it.

Alesia, my apologies.

No, I didn't see what happened on Joel's blog the day it was shut down. I checked in first thing in the morning, but later on when I tried to post I couldn't. My first thought was that Google was having some kind of technical problem. It was only a few hours later that I refreshed the site and found that the comments had been shut off due to the insults directed at Grumpy. Frankly, I thought that Joel had just sat down on the 27th and finally had a chance to read what had been going on, otherwise something would have happened sooner.

I would have been on this blog site sooner if there was a search function in Blogger that would let you search for a blog by name of blog or by blogger name. As it is I found this on WJM's blog site, which I found only because I went through a really old backup of my bookmarks.

I imagine it will probably be a month or so before Joel's is turned back on.

Anyway, Mac, I can neither confirm nor deny my involvement in the CIA. Confirming might endanger certain people, and denial means that I've confirmed it, since if I REALLY was in the CIA I'd have to deny it, so that must mean I'm in it. (BTW, what's the Australian equivalent to the CIA? FBI?)

Happy New Year, All!

It's great to see so many on this blog!!!

I am guessing that our little friend has already seen posts that would lead her here.

As Wilma pointed out, she is a prolific blogger and seems obsessed with all of this.

Wilma I checked out your site and have one question...if people leave you messages, won't their email addresses be in plain site for other posters to see?

I know some people (including me) are reluctant to give out too much personal info, due to some of the bad apples out there in the general public, so wonder if posters would be comfortable leaving their email address on your blog.

Just a thought

like me and john Wilma has enabled the moderator function so all posts go to her email before they get published on the blog itself and we can delete any an all posts before they show up.

On a different note-
we found a body on our back porch when we got home. we noted a car in the driveway of the empty house in front of us and when hubby went out to walk the dogs he found a body wrapped up in a deflated rubber swimming pool. he quickly came back in and called the sheriff-no 911 for us that would be for them city dwellers. initially since we have been broken into before we assumed that the car which had been in the empty driveway was his buddies who had taken off and left him and he wrapped himself up in the pool until we turned the lights off so he could escape. turns out it was a drunk who had been deserted by his family and he couldn't get home. the car in the driveway was actually a patrol car (it can take an hour or better to actually get a patrol car to respond given the size of the county) because he had apparently terrified some other homeowner trying to get a ride home. We told the officers as long as they took him home we wouldn't press charges for criminal trespassing. we are still a little shaky but Praise God it wasn't anything worse. If it had been a burglar or worse playing possum we'd all be hurt or dead since we had no idea there was even anyone on our back porch when we went out to potty the dogs. I'm pretty handy with a knife but not hand to hand combat for sure. We have a 5.5' fence to climb over completely enclosing the backyard where we found him by the way. He had to want in badly. We didn't press charges-I hope we don't regret that.

One of the things that has always puzzled me is how could a gentile of any religious stripe ever get the Jews to remotely consider him their messiah?

Guess it makes a little more sense now. Not saying it is or isn't Sarkozy but when is a Jew not a Jew? Israel and the rabbi's would consider Sarkozy a Jew because of his mom. If Dr Frucht is correct God however would likely consider him a non Jew because even though his mother and grandfather were Jewish he Sarkozy does not appear to have chosen to be Jewish. So how do you have an Antichrist that is non Jewish but accepted as Jewish by Jews-the dichotomy of who is consider a Jew by Scripture and therefore by God and those who would be considered Jewish by other Jews might just be the answer.

Add into the mix that several of Sarkozy's relatives are strong Zionists, a mixture of Gog and Magog and the Rapture and i could see someone like Sarkozy coming to power worldwide. His relatives would pressure him to rebuild the Temple.

It is interesting to speculate on. How ironic that a Frenchman would end up being the Antichrist though given the actions of France in the two world wars :-)

How scarey, JIB! Thank God you all are ok. And hopefully this guy will get his life straightened out. It is not an easy world to live in.

Thanks for the info about blogs...I am not too savvy about it all!

From past posts it sounds as if you live in the same area one of my brothers lives in.

He and I just spent a few days together as our dad was in the hospital.

I'd love to ask you more about the area you live in, etc, but this is probably not the best place to ask about all of that.

I love it out there and would love to get out there more often. He's in the northeast section of town.

I agree about this Sarkozy thing being interesting. The turn around of France in recent months sure makes him stand out. And now with his Jewish roots.....it's really getting interesting! Thanks for pointing it all out!

Hello Mr. Hyde and bloggers that formally hung out at Joel's Site,

Happy New Year! I hope everybody went a little easier on the turkey and the holiday treats than I did. I am hoping to go on vacation somewhere sunny in a month and my chances of fitting into my wetsuit right now are slim to nil (pun intended). :-(

Wilma,

Thank-you for tracking the Grumpster and I down. We were lamenting the fact that we didn't have anyway of contacting most of you, until we got your message. It was very thoughtful and considerate of you to go looking for us. I just sent an email containing a link to this blog to Jeri from SA.

Jim,

It was Terrible Teresita and her potty mouth that was the cause of Joel's blog getting shutdown. I saw the whole ugly thing unfold and there is absolutely zero question that the profanity posted and directed at Grumpy came from her (teresita/francine), not some anonymous person pretending to be francine.

On a happier note, I read a couple end times prophecy books over the holidays that made my head spin! The books were, "Nephilim Stargates: The Year 2012 and the Return of the Watchers" by Thomas Horn and "The Nephilim and the Pyramid of the Apocalypse" by Patrick Heron. I would highly recommend them, especially Nephilim Stargates.

If I had seen these books a year ago or so, I would have said, "Oh Please! Nephilim, Stargates, Aliens? These authors have seen too many sci-fi movies!" However, I am not saying that anymore.

It has bothered me for years that there are so many thousands of reported cases of UFO sightings, alien abductions, etc. by people that seem to genuinely believe that is what has happened. I never for a second believed in aliens, and I don't usually buy into government conspiracy theories but I wondered, "What the heck is really going on?!"

Thomas Horn's book really helped answer that question for me. He did a great job of drawing parallels between modern day UFO sightings and so called "alien abductions" and demonic activity documented in the Bible and other ancient documents. I have no question in my mind that they are one in the same.

All the reported cases of alien related activity seem to be very evil and demonic in nature. You never hear a story of a happy alien encounter. Most of them seem to revolve around experiments with reproduction.

You are probably wondering what this has to do with end times prophecy.

Jesus says in Matthew 24:37:

37 For as were the days of Noah, so will be the coming of the Son of Man.

There is significant evidence that fallen angels were tinkering around with genetics in the time of Noah. This includes tampering with people (the Nephilim), animals and plants in Noah's day and that is certainly what is going on right now with all the work scientists are doing on Transgenics. They are currently cloning animals, manipulating dna, making cimeras etc.. They probably have already tried this with people.

Have you ever wondered why God wiped out most of the animals along with all the people in the flood? I know I have? Why would God destroy most of the animals? It makes sense if the animals had become corrupted the same way as people had in Noah's day.

Genesis 1:11-12

11 And God said, "Let the earth sprout vegetation, plants yielding seed, and fruit trees bearing fruit in which is their seed, each according to its kind, on the earth." And it was so. 12 The earth brought forth vegetation, plants yielding seed according to their own kinds, and trees bearing fruit in which is their seed, each according to its kind. And God saw that it was good.

In these verses, God keeps emphasizing that the plants are reproducing according to their "kind" and He also emphasizes that when he later talks about animals. Why would He emphasize this unless He was trying to tell us something?

Anyways, there is so much more to these books that relates to what is happening on the planet right now, including what is going on in Iraq.

Grumpy sent me a link to a video on Prophecy in the News where author Thomas Horn is being interviewed. There are two parts to the video, but I especially found Part 2 interesting.

Here is the link:

Nephilim Stargates: with Thomas Horn (Part 2)

God Bless,
Harold

our house is relatively isolated which makes us an easy target.

Donna,
you're right-not the place as there are too many weird people out there and I have a family to think of and help protect-not from you but from the odd wanderer who might happen by. look what happened at Joel's

I had a thought regarding T last night-do you all remember the story in Acts where a possessed women kept following Paul around and saying some truthful things? one has to wonder given her behavior what exactly is going on in her life.

When I first read the article about the Jews wanting to turn to France because America was a has been on the world scene I nearly fell out of my chair laughing. But it's somewhat true. After a rather significant time of being spineless the French now seem to have a national spine because of Sarkozy. For how long? I would also note that France is one of the 10 charter nations of the EU is it not?!

Jchick-I lean more toward Fred Thompson or Ron Paul (you have no idea how it pains me to say the last name) but Tancredo is out and Hunter doesn't stand a chance. Not sure that either of the two that I like sort of do either. OF the "front runners" I suppose I like Romney the best. Don't want Rudy or McCain or from all that I've been reading lately Huckabee. Someone described Huckabee as Bill Clinton without the sex and the cigars. got to run and go to work now. ta ta

jib said...

isn't God good that all of us are finding our way here?

JCChick23 said...

jib--I have wanted Fred for a long time--and I laughed off the people who said he was lazy. Then I kinda started to think he WAS lazy--or just unenthusiastic. The other day he said he just hated campaigning...who can blame him?? I cant stand this process and Im just watching it! Anyway-I still like him. I HAVE to ask why you say Ron Paul? I watched him on Glenn Beck--he is actually more together than the debates made him seem...BUT...clearly he doesnt have a chance...

I cracked up at the comparison between Clinton and Huckabee. AND--I tend to agree. I was really liking him a while ago..but I dont know anymore. I worked side-by-side with his wife on a women-build for habitat for humanity a few years back and she was GREAT--as real as they come. But Ive seen a different side to him lately...which is one of the reasons this campaigning stuff IS necessary! :)

Praise God--His plan is in place and we'll all just have to say "Halleluiah anyhow" if its someone we dont care for!!

...BUT...if its Hillary--I may go into a deep, dark depression...

Jib, Shalom! In your message of 10:27 PM you listed several ways a gentile could be considered to be the Messiah by the Jews. You neglected to mention conversion. Apparently, there are a growing number of people who have been raised Christian who are converting to Judaism. This person could be a convert to Judaism and so accepted as a Jew, particularly if he could point to Jewish relatives in his past.

[rant: on]

I'm one of those lucky folks in Iowa who get to go to caucus tomorrow. Frankly, I'm just so mad I could spit! It used to be that the media focused on the Super Tuesday set of primaries, where seven (or is it twelve?) states all have their primaries on the same day. That's cool; it gives the candidates a chance to set their priorities on which state they were going to woo, and it spread things out so no one state would be the make-it-or-break-it state. Iowa and New Hampshire were supposed to be beta tests: if you couldn't put together a nice little campaign to run in both of those states, then you couldn't handle a big state like New York or California; if you COULD put together a campaign for those states then you could get some national attention focused on the issues you were talking about. The one thing you DIDN'T want to do was win in Iowa -- the winner in Iowa NEVER goes on to win their party's nomination.

Now, however, TPTB (The Powers That Be) have decreed that whosoever wins in Iowa and New Hampshire shall henceforth be (cue trumpets) the One True Candidate for their party, regardless of how they do in any other state. Instead of Iowa being a beta test, they've insisted on making it the Microsoft Windows 1.0 (i.e., a beta that's been released for sale) of the political world. Now so many people are flabdabbling about the "power" that Iowa and New Hampshire hold in the political process, not stopping to think that these two state hold only as much power as people are willing to give them. They COULD go back to being beta tests, but that doesn't suit TPTB. TPTB want the process moved to New York or California, where it will take tons of money to run and people won't get NEARLY the chance to meet the candidates as they do in the smaller states. This means that only the candidates that are pre-approved by the parties will get to run, since they're the only ones that will get enough money to actually run a campaign in a big state.

Couple this with the fact that the party platforms are already being hammered out in small conferences being held around the country, and you're going to have party conventions where the conventioneers won't have to worry about making any decisions (since they'll just make the wrong ones). Just rubber stamp the platforms that have been decided upon by the people inside the Beltway and officially vote in the candidates that were selected back in January, and don't worry about running the country, we'll do that for you.

[rant: off]

To answer your question, I'm a Lieberman Democrat who's none too happy with the entire range of candidates. My plan is to go to caucus and be the only person there who will vote for Tom Vilsack (who dropped out last February). I get the feeling that I'll probably wind up voting Republican this time around.

><>

JCChick23 said...

Jim--if you dont mind, Im copying and pasting that into an email for friends and family--they'll all love it.

Also, I love Lieberman--and give him big kudos for being as steadfast in his positions as he has been. THAT, as we know, is a rarity in this business. He's a real gem! :)

I have to say this quick "GOOD MORNING EVERYONE!" Why quick? Because it is almost 11 a.m. now and I take shots at typing this in between Honey Doing for hubby.

To answer the question of how do we keep the email address given at our/my blog from showing up on the comments. When you enable the moderator function on your blog, it will ask for your email address. Every comment that is then allowed to be posted on the blog has to be permitted by that blog's author (me)and that is achieved by the Google Blogger sending me an email message with your comment and then I decide to publish it or not. When you send me your email address, I can place it in my address book under Joel's Bloggers category. No one has access to the information except me. My vault is password protected (I don't believe in taking chances)but if you send me your email address and ask me not to keep it for future reference then I simply delete it from my files. No big thing, mon and it has been very handy to have when you need to share something that doesn't need to be broadcast on the web.

Am I trustworthy? You bet! You would be blown out of the water if you knew what kind of secrets I have been entrusted with over the years and the rest of the story; they are still secrets and safely stored away.

Harold, did you go to David's site? I was going to post on everyone of his topics until one of you appeared but you saved me from that one. Goodness man, you made it worth while by what you posted.

I watched Horn on Prophecy in the News and on J.R. Church/Gary Stearman's articles in their magazine. By the way, that is a great magazine to keep. On their web site both parts are available for watching or listening. Just go to www.prophecyinthenews.com and you will see the list of things to watch/listen to.

JIB, what you doing wrapping men in pool liners? Now let me tell you, if that ever happened around here at my house, they would have been beaten to death by one scared, very agitated old woman with a carpet beater. Of course, I would remind them that unless they were saved and covered by the blood of Jesus Christ they were headed for something a lot worse than my beating but beat them I would. That is if our Mountain Lion didn't get them first.

Yes, we have a real, flesh and blood Mountain Lion roaming our neighborhood. Seems the new homes being built out in the woody bluff area around here is causing the relocation of their habitat and we happen to have some idea territory for them. Our kitty cat now has an exclusive sized access to our garage so she can escape any affection this big cat can offer. I sure hope she isn't attracted to him in any way.

I keep telling you all that I am a pistol packing granma and I have excellent shooting skills. I was brought up and lived in Iowa and we all were big supporters and members of Isaac Walton Leagues. They taught how to handle firearms and hunting properly back when I was a kid.

Now how in the world did I get from Nephilim to gun toting?

JCCHICY23 You are not going to run from Hillary! Get that thought out of your mind girl. Elijah was the last one to run from the likes of Jezebel and that is the same spirit. So, you are not running or hiding from her. Besides do you really think God is not going to listen to our petitions to keep her out of the White House a little longer? I lived in Arkansas all the years that Slick Willy Bill and obnoxious HIll were in power. In fact, some of my closest friends were very personal and up close friends and relatives of those two comrades. The nasty one is HIllary and the people in Arkansas didn't want them back again. Hucklebee did a whole lot better job than Bill ever did; besides unmessing the things that corruption created. Would I vote for Hucklebee? No, because he has no understanding of Foreign Affairs and we have had enough bungling of that scene.

Now, I have to go tackle an even bigger job than presidents! I have to get lunch ready for hubby dear!

You know, this just might be the best Cave dwelling provision we could have ever been offered. Coming to Mr. Hyde's lair is exciting and we might even be neighbors to Osama, or Obama or well, you know the rest of the comment.

Love you all and good seeing you all here.

I just received this from Jan Markell and wanted to share it with all of you. The email tells it all but I will edit so it isn't so long.

"Correspondent Bill Koenig to Accompany President on Mideast Trip

I have known Bill Koenig personally since 2002 when he spoke at my first "Understanding the Times Conference" in St. Paul, MN. Then and now he has headed "Koenig's International News," an independent news agency covering the White House and focusing heavily on Mideast issues. It is also known as Watch.org. He has a unique love for Israel and is the author of the book, "Eye to Eye: Facing the Consequences of Dividing Israel." He will be one of our "Understanding the Times 2008" speakers, September 26 - 27, in Minneapolis.
He is just one of a small number of Christian correspondents and perhaps the only one with a biblical understanding of Israel's role past, present, and future. He has gotten his outstanding book into the hands of top White House officials and major leaders in Washington who have acknowledged receipt of the book.
Bill Koenig has the opportunity to travel to Israel and the Middle East with President Bush, Condoleeza Rice, and the White House press corps from January 8 to 17. The trip will include stops in Jerusalem, the Palestinian territories, Kuwait, Bahrain, United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, and Egypt.
He will travel on the White House press charter and will be departing in what may be one of the most important times in the history of Israel and also other areas of the Mideast. Many are praying that doors would open and that he might have the opportunity to share his heart with the President, Secretary Rice, and others as to the importance of America standing by Israel.
The volatile issues that have arisen in Pakistan in recent days make the region even more stressful and dangerous. It is said that security for President Bush's trip will be unprecedented. In Israel, 8,000 policemen will provide security during the visit in addition to members of the American Secret Service.
The trip is extremely costly and I am asking you to pray about making a tax-deductible gift to help with the expenses of Bill Koenig. He is a man called "for such a time as this," and a true "watchman on the wall" for Christians. He knows the President from their mutual days in Texas and with prayer, an opportunity could arise for Bill to speak into the President's ear words that could affect the remaining year he has in office. Imagine the doors that could open while traveling together for ten days.
Bill Koenig will give a full report on my live radio program Saturday, February 2.
You can make a secure donation to this worthy endeavor at this link. Or, you can send a check in the next few days to "About Him," Post Office Box 25095, Alexandria, VA 22313. Again, all gifts are tax-deductible as this is a 501(c)3 ministry. A special phone number has been established for credit card donations: 1-703-751-1014.
Those of you who get his weekly, "Koenig's Eye-View from the White House" know that his insights and connections allow him to shed tremendous light on the issues of the day and particularly Israel. I also encourage you to order his book, "Eye to Eye: Facing the Consequences of Dividing Israel."
Is this effort orchestrated by God to give the President one more chance to see Israel's real role in our day and the future? Could Bill Koenig be the one to open his eyes? We don't know but we can pray to that effect and if you are so moved, you can give to this worthy project.
Thank you for your consideration of both prayer and financial assistance.
Awaiting His return,

Jan Markell

But by clicking on the B logo, and adding it to my home page, I don't have to hit my bookmarks or favorites and run the looooonnnnggggg list of sites. Hi JIB,
I had similar thoughts to yours about T. In one of the first dust-ups, she said she had been invited to the blog and, as such, thought it would be a place to find fellowship. She never said who invited her and it crossed my mind back then that perhaps she was one of the original anonymice. Many regulars had been imploring the mice to get a name and join in earnest, so I thought maybe that's what she was referring to ("invited" to join by getting a blogger name).
Then when things got more heated and Wilma claimed the blog back from any darkness, she immediately left and immediately came back as Francine. That caught my attention, too. I was thinking along the lines of split personality, but perhaps there's something else to it.
Don't want to beat a dead horse, so that's my 2-cents. I've been mulling that over for awhile now and found it interesting that you had similar thoughts.

So glad we're getting reconnected. Everyone's fellowship here is so uplifting and takes me leaps ahead of where I'd be on my own.
Blessings,
Jen

Re the AC (with reference to Sarkozy's background), here is something that tends to be forgotten..

In Daniel 8 it says:

8 Therefore the male goat grew very great; but when he became strong, the large horn was broken, and in place of it four notable ones came up toward the four winds of heaven.
9 And out of one of them came a little horn which grew exceedingly great toward the south, toward the east, and toward the Glorious Land.
10 And it grew up to the host of heaven; and it cast down some of the host and some of the stars to the ground, and trampled them.
11 He even exalted himself as high as the Prince of the host; and by him the daily sacrifices were taken away, and the place of His sanctuary was cast down.
12 Because of transgression, an army was given over to the horn to oppose the daily sacrifices; and he cast truth down to the ground. He did all this and prospered.
[NKJV]

It is clear from other passages in Daniel that the "goat" is Alexander the Great, whose kingdom (see map here was subsequently divided into 4 by 4 of his generals (the four notable ones, called the Diadochi (see v8) - names escape me, but I can look them up if anyone is interested. I do know one was Ptolemy.)

Anyway, Daniel then goes on to state that the "little horn" (v9) who would become the AC comes out of one of these 4 - in other words out of what was the former Greek empire of Alexander - NOT the Roman empire. This person "grew exceedingly great toward the south, toward the east, and toward the Glorious Land."

This would seem to indicate that the person who will become the AC has roots in the remnants of the Greek empire, rather than the Roman empire, but is also one who has strong connections to the revived Roman empire of today (the EU - see map) - since this would seem to be the core of the AC's power base. (See this map of the extents and division of the Greek empire after Alexander).

It is interesting to note that Sarkozy's Jewish roots are based in Salonika, Greece.

Alesia,
Do you remember when you asked Mr. Hyde this "Hi Mr. Hyde,
Are you going to add more
or, is this all we get?"

My dear child, is this current activity more to your liking? I would say that someone mighty heard your cry and whalla, here we is! By the way, I have had several people who were reading and learning at Joel's come to my blog and ask to be given the address of the cave. You know, this is a somewhat sheltered sanctuary with our monitoring ability in place. Knowing we have such a strong Mac guarding the entrance makes it lots more peaceful.

Mr. Hyde if you receive any negative inputs, ignore them because that seems to be the master plan to shut down all of the Christian blogs that are discussing relevant topics.

Something else, my hubby doesn't know how to post on this blog like he did on Joel's. I have no idea how many times he did such a thing but he got his wings clipped.

Man, is it ever good to find so many of you again. When Joel's blog comments stopped, It seemed like I lost most of my friends. I was pretty certain why the site was taken down, but thank you Alesia for clarifying what happened.

As of yesterday I am unemployed and feeling a bit lost as we wait for a new ministry to open up, so you all have been a big encouragement for me over the last months. It is so good to be back in the news loop again, and after this brief break, I know that we will enjoy the cafe even more.

Thank you Mr. Hyde, for allowing us to invade your site so thoroughly, and if nastiness occurs, just consider it as a bad commercial and just let it be lost in the plethora of God honouring comments.

Thank you Wilma for linking us together again.

Good to find you all posting again.
Thank you Mr.Hyde for hosting while joel's is down. And Happy New Year to all!!
I was so shocked to read the comments tne day that Joel's was shut down, and agree with you all that Teresita/Francine/Annon needs strong prayer. She did some posting on another site I visit just during and after that incident. The other site is monitered closely, so I doubt she can do much damage there.
I also agree, It could have been the intention of "T" to have Joel's shut down. One would have to draw that conclusion from the results.
P.S. this blog could be used in case of emergency, (with Mr.Hyde's permission of course). Anyway, until Joel's is up again. Will go back to lurking.

John, Shalom!

Thanks for the maps in your posting of 12.:28 PM! Let me throw out some ideas for your consideration:

1. Shia (based Iran and Iraq) and Sunni (the Wahhabists, who control Mecca and Medina) branches of Islam engage in a great intra-religious war -- the Kingdom of the North (Shia) and the Kingdom of the South (Sunni). Mecca (aka Babylon) is destroyed, probably with nuclear weapons (the smoke of the fire can be seen from the sea) supplied by Pakistan.

2. After the destruction of Mecca, Prince Hassan bin Al Talal arranges peace between the two sides. He is able to do this because of his lineage as a Hashemite ruler (traditional Emir of Mecca -- Kingdom of the South) and the traditional Hashemite monarchy in Iraq (Kingdom of the North.) The fact that he has close ties to Pakistan through his wife, Princess Sarvath, who is the daughter of two prominent Pakistani politicians, helps cement his position.

3. Prince Hassan becomes King of Iraq, restoring the constitutional monarchy overthrown by Sadaam.

4. Since Iraq is mostly Shia, in order to keep from showing favoritism and preserve the peace, King Hassan moves the center of Islam to Istanbul while waiting for the radiation to die down enough to rebuild the Kabba. This should take about three and a half years.

5. In the meantime, Turkey becomes an Islamic state. Istanbul becomes the de-facto seat of a de-facto Caliphate, with feet on both sides of the Bosporus, encompassing both Europe and Asia -- east and west. From here, King Hassan can extend his rule towards the east -- Iran and Iraq; towards the south -- Saudi Arabia and Egypt, and towards the Glorious Land (Jordan, ruled by his half-brother, on the border of Israel.)

John,
I keep thinking about what we are learning about Sarkozy. In the grand scheme of things, it doesn't matter who the AC is, or will be, but it is interesting to speculate.

The one thing I keep thinking about though, that I read in one of Joel's books, I believe, is the idea that there is always an AC in our mist on earth at any given time. Because no one knows when Jesus is coming back, not even satan, so he always has to be ready in case.
That makes me wonder how many times someone has predicted the AC & were right! Granted, they didn't end up being THE AC but they may have been an almost AC - know what I mean?
Something to think about, no?

John

plus Sarkozy's dad is a hungarian noble or some such thing according to the link that donna posted. Slavs definitely more eastern I think than western? I think most associate the AC with the Roman empire because of the passage (which I don't remember at the moment and can't find cuz at work) where it was said that the man of sin would arise from the country which destroyed the temple.

Donna

Ron Paul is a strong constitutionalist. Things I agree with are decreasing the size of the federal government, getting ride of the IRS (I can dream), getting the US out of the UN and restoring US sovereignty and quit subordinating our constitution to foreign documents, treaties and courts, tightening up the border. The two things I somewhat disagree with are that he wants to abruptly pull the troops out of Iraq-a mistake of cataclysmic proportions. A phased withdrawal with the Iraqis gradually taking up the controls and reigns would be more to my liking. Also he wants to stop all foreign aid. period. no one outside the US gets any of our money, inculding Israel. Too isolationist and has some interesting prophetic implications (why is the US not mentioned-we choose not to be involved and choose not to aid anyone including Israel as to why we don't come to her aid in Gog and Magog). Other things relate to the social sphere in that he is a libertarian first and foremost and they don't believe the feds whould be legislating any morality such as drugs, cigs and alcohol.

JIB, sister, your story you told today is quite freaky!! It reminds me of my own freaky story...many MANY years ago when our girls were like 2 and 3 (Beamer was just a twinkle...LOL), we came home one evening in the winter and discovered a man curled up under the front deck of our home back then. Steve went to poke him out of there and discovered he was dead! He was frozen to death (SD winters...Brrr!) but was drunk and had passed out under there trying to get warm. We wondered if he had tried to get into our house. I often wonder what I would have done if we HAD been home...would I have called someone? Would I have closed the door and told him to go away? WHAT would I have done? I'd like to think I would have helped BUTTTT....very young couple, very young little kids, drunk man, nightime??hmmm...

Anyways, I am so glad that you all are alright. I think all things happen for a reason and we need to just trust that! Amen?

Mr Hyde, dude, you have a nice cave here!! Thanks for your hospitality! ;o)

It is great to see you all here and Lori, thanks for all the great articles and headlines today!

Have you looked at Koinonia House

re: the frozen dead guy under your deck;

Have you ever had someone fail at something and say, "I'm doomed to hang!"? There's a Russian saying: He who must hang cannot drown! There's a short story based on that saying. A man was very depressed and decided to kill himself. He got some rope and tried to hang himself, but the rope broke. He tried throwing himself in the river, but was saved out by some fishermen. He finally tried shooting himself, but the powder wouldn't light. He took this as a sign from God that he should live, so he sold the gun and used the money to buy some vodka to celebrate.

As he was staggering home, he fell into a snowbank, fell asleep, and froze to death. Like they say, "He who must hang, cannot drown."

I received a note from a friend in NYC and she said that Michael Bloomberg was going to be in Oklahoma City meeting up with a bunch of Dems/Repubs to evaluate Bloomberg running for President on an Independent ticket. I have no doubt that David Boren, former Senator from Oklahoma and now President of OU being involved and if he is things will begin to move very swiftly. Not because I am from Oklahoma by choice but because David Boren is one well thought of person and a real organizer. If he is involved there will be others of the same stature as he involved also.

Michael Bloomberg is the Mayor of New York City and also Bloomberg.com. It will be very interesting to see this unfold.

Things could get very interesting very quickly. In case some of you are wondering what that could mean to the present picture; the support for Michael would cut into Hill's base greatly as far as votes and $. Also, Rudy's vault, Fred Thompson's and John Edward's. Money, people, Money!!!! That is what it is all about to begin with and end with.

Oh, by the way, if you hear Slick Willy Bill mean mouthing the thin spread of our Military forces, and how stupid that is, please remember who the president was that shut down all of the "unnecessary bases and turned loose all of the personnel" in the 90's. Here is an interesting article to read, it is long but worth it:
1968 PROPHECIES of the LAST DAYS

These two interesting prophecies were given long ago in Norway:

JESUS is COMING SOON (SUDDENLY)

An old woman of 90 from Valdres in Norway had a vision from God
in 1968. The evangelist Emanuel Minos had meetings (services)
where she lived. He had the opportunity to meet her, and she told him what she had seen. He wrote it down, but thought it to be so unintelligible that he put it in a drawer. Now, almost 30 years later, he understands he has to share the vision with others.

The woman from Valdres was a very alert, reliable, awake and
credible Christian, with a good reputation among all who knew her.
This is what she saw:

"I saw the time just before the coming of Jesus and the outbreak
of the Third World War. I saw the events with my natural eyes. I
saw the world like a kind of a globe and saw Europe, land by land.
I saw Scandinavia. I saw Norway. I saw certain things that would
take place just before the return of Jesus, and just before the last
calamity happens, a calamity the likes of which we have never
before experienced.

She mentioned four waves:

1. "First before Jesus comes and before the Third World War
breaks out there will be a ‘détente’ like we have never had before. There will be peace between the super powers in the east and the west, and there will be a long peace. (Remember, that this was in 1968 when the cold war was at its highest. E. Minos) In this period of peace there will be disarmament in many countries, also in Norway and we are not prepared when it (the war) comes. The Third World War will begin in a way no one would have anticipated - and from an unexpected place.

2. "A lukewarmness without parallel will take hold of the Christians, a falling away from true, living Christianity. Christians will not be open for penetrating preaching. They will not, like in earlier times,
want to hear of sin and grace, law and gospel, repentance and
restoration. There will come a substitute instead: prosperity
(happiness) Christianity.

"The important thing will be to have success, to be something; to
have material things, things that God never promised us in this
way. Churches and prayer houses will be emptier and emptier.
Instead of the preaching we have been used to for generations -
like, to take your cross up and follow Jesus, - entertainment, art
and culture will invade the churches where there should have been gatherings for repentance and revival. This will increase markedly just before the return of Jesus.

3. "There will be a moral disintegration that old Norway has never experienced the likes of. People will live together like married without being married. (I do not believe the concept ‘co-habitor’? existed in 1968 - E. Minos.) Much uncleanness before marriage, and much infidelity in marriage will become the natural (the common), and it will be justified from every angle. It will even enter Christian circles and we pet it - even sin against nature. Just before Jesus' return there will be TV-programs like we have never experienced. (TV had just arrived in Norway in 1968. E. Minos)

"TV will be filled with such horrible violence that it teaches people to murder and destroy each other, and it will be unsafe in our streets. People will copy what they see. There will not be only one ‘station’ on TV, it will be filled with ‘stations.’ (She did not know the word ‘channel’ which we use today. Therefore she called them stations. E. Minos.) TV will be just like the radio where we have many ‘stations,’ and it will be filled with violence. People will use it for entertainment. We will see terrible scenes of murder and destruction one of the other, and this will spread in society. Sex scenes will also be shown on the screen, the most intimate thing that takes place in a marriage." (I protested and said, we have a paragraph that forbids this kind of thing. E. Minos.) There the old woman said: "It will happen, and you will see it. All we have had before will be broken down, and the most indecent things will pass before our eyes."

4. "People from poor countries will stream to Europe. (In 1968
there was no such thing as immigration. E. Minos.) They will also come to Scandinavia - and Norway. There will be so many of them that people will begin to dislike them and become hard with them. They ill be treated like the Jews before the Second World War.
Then the full measure of our sins will have been reached (I
protested at the issue of immigration. I did not understand it at the time. E. Minos.)

The tears streamed from the old woman’s eyes down her cheeks.
"I will not see it, but you will. Then suddenly, Jesus will come and
the Third World War breaks out. It will be a short war." (She saw it
in the vision.)

"All that I have seen of war before is only child’s play compared to this one, and it will be ended with a nuclear atom bomb. The air will be so polluted that one cannot draw one’s breath. It will cover several continents, America, Japan, Australia and the wealthy nations. The water will be ruined (contaminated?). We can no
longer till the soil. The result will be that only a remnant will
remain. The remnant in the wealthy countries will try to flee to the
poor countries, but they will be as hard on us as we were on them.

"I am so glad that I will not see it, but when the time draws near,
you must take courage and tell this. I have received it from God,
and nothing of it goes against what the Bible tells.

"The one who has his sin forgiven and has Jesus as Savior and
Lord, is safe."

WHEN the OIL FLOWS

An elder in the Pentecostal Church at Moss, Norway, Martin
Andersen, heard the following prophecy in 1937, in Moss:

‘When oil comes out of the North Sea and along the Norwegian
coast, things will begin to happen, and the return of Jesus is approaching.’

When these words had been proclaimed, people stood up in the
congregation and asked the man to sit down and not speak such
nonsense. In 1937 it was indeed nonsense to talk about oil being
pumped along the Norwegian coast. Today all the world’s big oil
companies are pumping oil along the coast of Norway. Norway is
the world’s third greatest exporter of oil - after Saudi Arabia.

The sum of it all is: Jesus is coming soon (suddenly).

Editor’s note:
I have found in my own research that the first account was
published by the Christian Information Service in Germany. The website of Dr. Emanuel Minos is active today and can be
accessed for verification. Although the language on this site is Norwegian, the very similar story of the woman and her vision is posted there in English... Ragna took it upon herself to verify as much of the above information as she could.

Alesia,

Who's keeping track? It doesn't matter who it comes from, right?

I enjoy your posts and it's fun hiding out in a cave with friends, sitting in a big oversized bean bag, with my favorite cup of joe.

Jeri - WOW! You sure came in with a bang!
Happy to "see" you & thanks so much for that article.
From the sounds of it, we could be meeting in the cafe at any time.
Do you think when God gives us our glorified body, he'll give me rhythm so I can finally dance? It's a funny looking, sad thing, for sure LOL

Lori,
Just wanted to make sure credit was given where it was due! Thanks

Mac, Shalom! You wrote at 6:46 PM:

Jim, you haven't convinced Hyde. He's making vroom, vroom noises in the closet.

So... he's staying in the "vroom closet"? Will he come out before dark or is he planning on "sweeping" in there? Is he the kind of person who walks in his "sweep"? Is he the only one in that closet or is there "vroom" enough for two?

Lori

my humble apologies-those links are a lot of work.

I agree we should give her a different name-how about tttt in honor of what Grumpy called her in an earlier post or t4.

I would watch with the nicknames though as people can misunderstand why they are being used.

Jim

ugh the puns

Jeri

yahoo you're back!!! I knew it would be close to the weekend. and such an article. wow. much food for thought.

Jim,

Here's what I think of your 7:05 post!

Jen said...

Hi Jeri,
That article gave me goosebumps!
My college-roommate's pastor (this is back in the mid 90s) once preached that he felt the wave of sci-fi and horror movies that were being made were tools of Satan to numb us to the reality of the dark spirits that are at work around us. He said that the monster/alien/etc. characters could very well be actual images of what the demon world looks like. We're so used to seeing those images now that we don't give them a second thought. It's all Hollywood now, just a creation of the mind. It's actually akin to leaving your door unlocked at night....anyone/thing is free to walk right in.
I read a few weeks ago that the young man who killed the people at the missionary training school and church in (Colorado?) was from a very religious home, but had fallen into heavy heavy rock music/occult practices. Some of his online postings prior to the shooting were shocking as they showed the depth of addiction to the music and access it gave to the demonic world.
No question that the very air around us is polluted with everything foreseen in those visions.

I am so waiting for the call!
Blessings,
Jen

wjm,

I couldn’t find your comment on David Lowe’s blog. David actually forwarded the information you sent him when you were trying to contact us to me and then I emailed Grumpy and Jeri with the information. Thanks again. 

alesia,

I ordered “Nephilim Stargates: The Year 2012 and the Return of the Watchers” and “The Nephilim and the Pyramid of the Apocalypse” from amazon. That is where I get most of my books from. Amazon is cheap, reliable, and the books get to me quick. 

gt,

I have read some of the articles that Chuck Missler has written and listened to an MP3 he made about the return of the Nephilim. Chuck always has some really interesting things to say. Thank-you for posting the link.

Again, I think the two books I mentioned are really interesting reading. Even if you don’t buy everything they say (I must say that I buy almost everything that is in them), you are still likely to learn a ton like I did. They are full of information about how Greek, Roman, Sumerian, etc. mythology developed, who built the pyramids and why, Nephilim (giants) in the Bible, the passages in the Bible that talk about the throne of Zeus actually being the throne of Satan, who built the Tower of Babel and why, the Roswell incident, why the date December 21, 2012 is so important, Transgenics, etc. After reading these books, I am not even sure if the Antichrist is going to be human or not. He could be a clone or the result of some other genetic tampering. I hope to go into this further in a later post after I have collected my thoughts.

God Bless,
Harold

Please note that the two question marks that show up in my last comment were actually :-) when I wrote them in Word. They seem to have changed into question marks when I pasted them into the blog. I haven't had that happen before. Weird! :-)

Yeh, Grumpy and Jeri SA made it and the circle is getting more and more complete. I am hoping that the new climate will encourage all of our Cafe Latte gang to return and share. I have no intention of giving any further ground to the enemy in any way whatsoever.

You guys have just got to discover the "Cache" thingy. Oh, Nate where is you? I tried to get him at his blog but it doesn't take comments either. Then there is Annie and a whole bunch of new ones that I couldn't get to.

Jib, did you go ahead and invite Joel? I hope so. Might be he would enjoy being a member of this elite group that gathers in a cave in Afganistan and listens to Mr. Hyde rev up his GRT engine. I will pit my "wannathat" Lamb against his and roar through the caves around about for a real USA/AUSSIE carb cleaner.

Now I got to stop living in the past and get caught up with today so I will check back later. By the way, Bloomberg is meeting in Okie City this weekend and I am not sure what that is going to do to the nation as a whole. They are actually considering creating a very powerful 3rd party in politics. People, things are a changing real fast! Get your running shoes on and clean underwear.

Love you all,
Wilma

Good Morning my beloved blogging friends!!

I was TRULY mourning that I may not be able to communicate or at least read my dear friends comments and thought that I would have to wait until the Lord comes to "see" you again. TRULY mourning!!

I started flipping through some of the blogs that I had bookmarked and God was soooooo gracious! Somebody, somewhere posted the link here!!

It does seem like 2008 is gonna be quite a year!

I am interested to see what transpires with the Bloomberg meeting Wilma!

And what is going to happen when Bush goes to Israel?

Happy New Year to you all!

Jib, I read that article; no prayers on Temple Mount.

It's so ridiculous. They can pray but they're not allowing them to move their lips! They need surgical masks to "protect their skin."

Olmert transfers control of religious affairs to Shas

I guess now he can blame someone else.

Wow so this is where everyone landed...check the runway is it clear??

Whatever happens, conduct yourselves in a manner worthy of the gospel of Christ. Then, whether I come and see you or only hear about you in my absence, I will know that you stand firm in one spirit, contending as one man for the faith of the gospel without being frightened in any way by those who oppose you. This is a sign to them that they will be destroyed, but that you will be saved--and that by God. For it has been granted to you on behalf of Christ not only to believe on him, but also to suffer for him. Philippians 1:27-29

How much money do ou suppose was wasted on this "no brainer" study? If they wanted to know this, all they could have done was ask people like us. We not only could have told them this, but we could have explained how they can get that kind of happiness and fulfillment.

PS Jim, I noticed you type your fish as <><. Which of our fish is going the wrong direction? Probably me. I always seem to be going in the wrong direction.

Hey y'all!!

Thanks to Alesia for responding to my email and leading me here. I have to say I was going through withdrawal after Joel's got shut down. I had been getting the responses emailed to me but had deleted almost all of them right before the shut down!! Almost lost them all but Alesia's. Whew!

I saw Donna said she posted to my blog but I couldn't find the post. I have been remiss about writing on my blog but I am getting going again now that the new year is here, so if this safe house gets overrun, there is a fall back position!

Great to see you all!

Deadly strain of bird flu found in Binyamina

Health Ministry makes positive ID of H5N1 bird flu virus in Binyamina kindergarten. Agriculture Ministry quarantines all chicken coops, hatcheries within six-mile radius pending further testing

Maybe this is enough of a threat so people can wear a mask to pray?

Any thoughts? Should we email the rabbis?

For me, it really just depends on which finger hits which key first. (Unlike a dove, which I'm still trying to figure out how to make on a keyboard. We had "one of those moments" when I was in college, because the people decorating the church for Pentecost didn't think about the significance of how the dove should look. So, because they thought it "looked prettier", they hung the banner so the dove appeared to be flying away from the congregation! It was quickly corrected after the first service!)
